Das die Gäste sich ordentlich benehmen können und beim Duschen den Vorhang nicht zu machen, dadurch das Bad unterwasser stellen und erwartet das es wieder geputzt wird.

Chambre un peu petite pour 4 personnes.par contre belle vue.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Me encantó la ubicación. Que estuvieses justo frente al lago. Tenía espacios comunes. El desayuno estaba genial. Buena temperatura por la noche y no había mal olor. Agradecimos la cocina con microondas.
La cantidad de gente por habitación, tan pegados unos de otros. Apenas había espacio entre los colchones.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026The Youth Hostel was an easy 10-15 minute walk along the lake for the train station, and my room had a shared balcony overlooking the lake, so the location was brilliant. The breakfast was very nice, and the communal space was very nice to spend time in - clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. Also, there's a discount for the nearby Brienz Rothorn Railway (which I highly recommend visiting - look on the hostel's own website for details).

Wasn’t sociable, and also wasn’t a youth hostel at all. Both nights I slept next to two different 50+ year old men. I would say only 25% of the guests arent families or over 30. Slept terribly as there were 3 snoring old men in my room. The room with the mattresses on the floor DOESNT have dividers as shown in the pictures

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026A super clean and beautiful place with an amazing location right on the shore of Lake Brienz. The hosts gave us an incredibly warm welcome and were always kind, helpful, and available whenever we needed anything. You can swim in the lake or rent a paddleboard, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

La habitación era solo para mujeres y una noche habia un hombre, la segunda noche otro y la tercera, una señora de zsuiza, hizo que lo sacarán, pero en la madrugada entro otro. . Su argumento es que no saben distinguir sí es hombre o mujer. Pero yo pague por una gabitacion de solo mujeres.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Accueil de qualité dans un environnement superbe. La maison est très bien agencée, les espaces communs sont agréables, le jardin est magnifique et le petit-déjeuner est très bien servi. Pour un court séjour, une étape ou un séjour avec des enfants, c'est idéal.
Le problème n°1 des dortoirs c'est les smartphones. Lors de mon séjour, j'ai été réveillé pendant la nuit par des notifications puis à partir de 5h30 par deux sonneries de réveils et même vers 6h par un appel téléphonique de plusieurs minutes ! Sans un respect minimum, les dortoirs ne sont plus un lieu convivial. Je suggère à l'établissement de faire de la prévention.
