Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good.

The maintenance guy tried to KICK my little dog. Long black hairs in the bathroom, musty bathroom smell, lots of dustballs on the floor, USB ports did not work, cabinet had a busted hinge and wouldn't stay closed, doors slamming all night long.

I loved everything about the hotel from the breakfast to the private beach and amazing pool. Front desk workers were so kind and friendly too!

Nothing it was amazing

The staff there were amazing very, very friendly and very, very helpful… and it was very clean. I always bring cleaning wipes with me and I didn’t even feel the need to use them :-)

Just stayed at this property and really enjoyed it. When we arrived they had our room ready and let us check in even though it was a little early. That was a nice touch after a long morning of traveling. I have stayed next door at the JW which was also very nice but this was a little more family friendly given that the pool is right on the beach! We loved being able to bounce back and forth between the pool and the beach since they’re literally steps from each other. The beach is perfect with little kids as there really aren’t any waves. It’s small but really nice. Cabanas was also very good, whether it be the bar service on the beach or at the pool or the food. We had lunch there everyday since the food was good and it was super convenient not having to leave your beach chair to eat! There was always empty pool chairs, that was never a problem. I wasn’t crazy about having to pay $10 for the beach chairs but it wasn’t a big deal and you get them for the entire day. Breakfast was a big hit with my kids, they loved the waffle makers and there was also eggs, potatoes and a meat that switched everyday. (Bacon, Sausage, chicken sausage, etc). Along with oatmeal some fruit and bagels/bread/muffins. I also have to give a shoutout to Theresa at the breakfast room, she was fantastic. Answered all our questions about my sons allergy and was just super nice and friendly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hampton Inn Clearwater – A Huge 10/10 From Me! 🇺🇸❤️ I just wanted to share my amazing experience at the Hampton Inn in Clearwater. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Sadly, I can't remember the name of the gentleman who was on reception when we first arrived, but he was absolutely fantastic — so attentive, friendly and helpful. I will definitely try to find out his name because he deserves a special mention. I believe I also spoke to Steve, the manager, and passed on my kind regards. In fact, every member of staff we have encountered has been lovely. The rooms are beautiful, spotlessly cleaned, with lovely towels and incredibly comfortable beds. The breakfast is, quite obviously, American — but hey, we are in America! 🇺🇸😂 It is more than sufficient, easy and convenient. The pool area is beautiful, and we've had no problem getting sunbeds. The beach here has such a lovely, chilled-out atmosphere, and the live singers have been absolutely incredible. 🎶 And then there are the bar staff… wow! They have been amazing. For me, this hotel is a definite 10/10. If you're looking for somewhere that is a little smaller, friendly, relaxed and chilled, where you can genuinely feel comfortable and at home, I really couldn't recommend it enough. A massive thank you to all the staff at Hampton Inn for making our stay so enjoyable. ❤️ And I have to give another very special mention to the staff at the Cabana next door — they have been absolutely incredible too. The level of customer service has genuinely blown me away. I came to Clearwater as an English visitor, and I will be returning to the UK with such wonderful memories. But I can honestly say my heart will always have a place for America. 🇺🇸❤️ The American people have absolutely blown me away with their friendliness, courtesy and warmth. I've loved every minute of my experience. And I WILL be returning to this hotel! 🥰 Finally, this review comes from the perspective of someone who works in the travel industry for many years. I always try to be honest, fair and constructive when reviewing hotels and destinations — and hand on heart, I've absolutely loved every minute of my stay here. It’s the perfect vacation spot. It’s right on the beach, breakfast is good, there are some stores within walking distance, staff is nice, and rooms are very clean. Restaurant and bar on site.

Only thing I didn’t like was the bed was a little uncomfortable but not to bad.

I really wanted to enjoy our stay, but unfortunately the service made it a frustrating experience. When we arrived, the front desk was unattended, and we had to wait before anyone came to check us in. Once we were finally helped, there was no information provided about the hotel’s amenities or even how to access the beach. Our room was also lacking basic necessities. There was only one washcloth, and the towels, sheets, and blanket were incredibly thin. Around 2:00 p.m. I called to request additional towels and linens. By 8:00 p.m. nothing had been delivered. When I tried calling the front desk again, no one answered, so I went down to the lobby—only to find the front desk unattended once again. When someone finally arrived (without a name tag), I was met with a rude attitude and was told they were short-staffed. I was actually told that if I wanted the items sooner, I was welcome to “hire my own staff” to bring them to my room. That level of customer service was shocking. My husband eventually went back to the front desk around midnight. This time someone was there, but instead of delivering the requested items, he was handed the linens and had to use a luggage cart to bring everything up to our room himself. The assistant manager, Brinley, was also dismissive and unhelpful when we raised our concerns. While I understand that staffing shortages happen, they are not an excuse for poor communication, eye-rolling, or treating paying guests as though they’re an inconvenience. The only thing this hotel seems to have in abundance is eye rolls from the front desk staff. Clearwater Beach is a wonderful destination, but unfortunately this hotel did not provide the level of hospitality I expect from a Hampton Inn.

We stayed here from 7/18/26–7/21/26. Check-in went smoothly thanks to Tony, and we were initially pleased. The room was spacious and property conveniently located. At first, the room appeared clean. Unfortunately, on the first morning, we discovered a previous guest’s underwear tucked under the corner of one of the mattresses, hanging out in plain view. It was upsetting and immediately made us question whether the sheets had actually been changed before our arrival, since there's no way this could've been missed if they had. We stayed calm, took a photo, and informed the front desk on our way to the pool. We politely asked the underwear be removed and the sheets be changed. The front desk apologized and told us someone would take care of it. After spending several hours at the pool, we returned to our room and were shocked to find that although the beds had been made, the underwear was still there in the exact same spot. This made it clear the sheets had still not been changed, despite our report. We went back to the front desk again, and Esteban came to the room wearing gloves to remove the underwear himself. He said he'd share the situation with the GM. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of FUP from mgmt. We never received an apology, call, or email. We are reasonable people and understand mistakes happen, but how a hotel responds to a serious cleanliness issue matters. In this case, the lack of attention and accountability was just as disappointing.

The bathroom had mold on the walls near the top in the bathroom. The shower head didn’t work properly. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The room was so tiny and even the balcony was small. The entire room was to small for the price that I paid. Also the fridge didn’t work that good.

I like that the property is pet friendly they have a spot to take the dog out for their necessities. The property and the rooms are very clean. They have a good front beach if you don’t want to walk to the public beach is a good pointe for them

The location is good and I like the fact that they have a private beach. Pool is small though. I like the fact that the parking lot is covered.

The cleanliness and the housekeeping service was a whole disappointment. That staff seems to be untrained and unsupervised. Room was not clean at check in. Room was small and furniture dated. Food options or quality in site are not great. Didn’t like the lobby on the 6th floor. Very inconvenient.

Stayed here for a night, yet loved the place. Conveniently located in Clearwater with great access to a part of the beach and some good food joints around it. Staff was very helpful and the overall process was a breeze

In terms of our room, it was a great size as we had lots of luggage and it was very roomy with two queen beds. Service was good but breakfast was awful. Because it was buffet style it was free for all with plates piled obscenely high and women taking shopping bags down with them to fill up with yoghurts and various foods. The oatmeal was particularly bad. It was thick and gloopy, like wallpaper paste. Laundry facilities good. To use the hotels private beach was $20 and not sure why the guy expected a tip up front The US is do bad now that tips are expected for literally everything; even if the individual doers nothing. Not sure we will be back..

5-Star We had a wonderful experience staying at the Marriott Hotel. From the moment we arrived, Jose, the AGM, was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. He took the time to find us a great room and explained everything thoroughly, making us feel truly welcome. The front office team was outstanding, especially Mariana, Gloria, Rebecca, and Supervisor Kevin. Everyone provided exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Our room was spotless, and the housekeeping team was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and its amazing staff. This hotel is the Premier hotel on clearwater beach! The rooms are spacious, and the balcony views are amazing! The hotel staff were very friendly upon check in. The manager Brinley is awesome, and was very accomodating. Did I mention the complimentary breakfast buffet! If your coming to Tampa Florida for vacation, and want the best location right on the beach this is it! Live bands play on the toof top bar which has a complete ocean view of clearwarer beach! I can't wait to go back, its simply the best!

este año tuvimos problema con wifi, cosa que el año pasado no, nos daban un wifi para el lobby, otro para habitacion etc. y nunca tenias wifi, hasta que pedi hablar con superiores y les exigi WIFI FREE, mi esposo y yo trabajamos con el, y nos lo dieron

It was quite expensive for just 1 night during the week.

Manager wanted me to pay $40 to be able to use the pool and beach area my first day if I didn't have my room yet. Im already paying for that day and I shouldn't have to pay $40 to use facilities....where is that money going?!!! Because of this i will not be returning to this hotel, as I have the last 4 times coming here.

Pool was great! Beach was great and easily accessible. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Staff was wonderful. Tony at front desk stood out as being extremely patient and helpful. Food at hotel, breakfast and purchased items from hotel restaurants, including drinks was very good. We rented a car to drive a little outside of Clearwater, but had such a relaxing and comfortable stay at the hotel, that the car never even left the parking lot. It was in a great location and within walkable distance of many stores, attractions and pier.

That we had to leave after only 4 days, Back to work.

The shower water did not work properly Kept shutting on and off. The last day of my trip there was no water to shower. Also, fees for the beach chairs should have been included in the stay, Breakfast was just ok.

They switched rates on me after I checked in and charged my card a second time without authorization. I told them if they were switching the rate I would not stay and then told me it was to late to cancel. Avoid at all cost!

I stayed here me and my friend were talking in the car in the garage late at night. We were going into our room and we had a really bad feeling about a white truck park next to us when I had entered the elevator my friend went back to the car to get some thing. I already had an eerie feeling about that car and the elevator brought me down to a basement level, and there was a man waiting there for me. I feel if I stepped out of that elevator I would’ve been trafficked when I reached out to the hotel, they offered me one free night denied the level I saw and said I went back up the elevator to a different level. Thank God, I do not drink. I believe this hotel traffic's stay away any women and children. Will continue to share my story.

Greg at the front desk was amazing. So helpful with how to use the Jolly Trolly, helpful in checking into our rooms and so friendly every day.

I liked the location of the hotel, the facilities, and the breakfast.

What I didn't like about the hotel was that the room was dirty. If you ran your hand across the floor, it would turn black. There was old cereal on the floor. They only changed the bed sheets and the towels.

It had a private beach. It was very clean.
