We absolutely loved our stay here—it truly exceeded our expectations. Desiree is an exceptional host and a talented baker. We loved her daily culinary delights, and she brought a genuine personal touch to the way she interacted with all her guests. She is an absolute asset, and we would highly recommend staying here.

Our whole experience as this place was amazing. The location was ideal and we also had a view of the ocean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were home baked cakes and cookies and OMG the cakes were amazing! I didn’t get a chance to try the cookies (i wish I did). I would definitely book again at this place.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable, feels like home. The complimentary fudge and brownies were amazing, breakfast was also excellent! Shower felt like a waterfall which was wonderful.

If you have a big car, parking can be a bit of a challenge.

Our host was very welcoming and our room was large with a veranda we spent most of the evening on and a very comfortable huge bed

I felt at home; it gives you a home away from home feeling. It's calm, not crowded and the place was safe and really quiet if you want to get away from the city life. It's a great place to stay as it's also close to restaurants and the beach so you have the option of quickly exploring new areas The breakfast was really nice as you can talk to the host there and they'll prepare you something. Eggs, baked good and also dairy free options were available.

Great place. Staff went out of their way to ensure that we get the best value out of the vacation. From checking it as our flyte was late to checking out because our flyte was again very late. We were not chased out because we exceeded the checkout time. She was able to allow us plenty of time to use the. place beyond our checkout time. This was something worth mentioning. Everything about the place was fantastic. Friendliness staff, wonderful Breakfast, comfortable bed, and nice and clean rooms. We were even packed Beach stuff.

I loved the fact that it was chilled and calm and so close to all places that I wanted to check out in Ballito. Des & Lyn are amazing hosts and their cakes and rusks are just divine. I even bought rusks from them. The location of the Vineyard and the breakfasts are just perfect.

It was like being home away from home on a business trip. It was very welcoming.

The staff were incredible: very accomodating, friendly and were always willing to help. Even going out of their way to get me non-dairy milk and make me breakfast when I ran late in the mornings.

Lovely views, excellent customer service especially from receptionist Lynell & her sister. They were great at sharing their wealth of knowledge of the Area. Had a wonderful week stay. Ooh and best complimentary chocolate Brownies ever! Looking forward to my next visit.

Peaceful road, with sea views. Well-maintained, comfortable guesthouse with a homely vibe. Breakfasts were really exceptional, plus afternoon cake was a lovely bonus. Hosts were very obliging, and reactive to any queries. My room overlooked the sea which was beautiful. The guesthouse felt safe as a solo female traveller. Ballito sea front is a 10 minute walk ( safe walking alone in daylight), with a boardwalk, cafes, a supermarket and pharmacy. This is a great place to base yourself.

Bathrooms old and need attention Managers should wear uniform and not ski pants. A 4 star facility shkd have formal dress code in our opinion.

Great pre-check in comms, very helpful team member checked us in, showed us around and made adjustments to which rooms we had based on our needs (our legs were busted after a bicycle race)

It was a last minute booking for the day, literally 30 minutes before we areived we asked for the bed to be made into a king bed and when we arrived we were greeted by a stunning property and a friendly host which showed us around and let us get comfortable. Overall it was romantic, calming and fun as it was very homey. Absolutely loved every minute and we even contemplated on staying another night however we were a little low on funds so we couldnt😅

Relatively small parking but we had the property to ourselves so we parked in the garage which was nice. Otherwise nothing to dislike

I loved everything about the accomodation and the hosts Des and Lynelle. This place is exceptional and I can't wait to return. I enjoyed everything. There are value adds which I have never experienced in any other accomodation. This is both on a local and international scale. What a true gem of note.
