When I arrived I was greeted by a kind gentleman and the new owner of the guest house. What a lovely couple. The artsiness was great to see. The surrounding was clean and loved the garden. The new owners are busy with renovations. I will be for sure going back to see what they have done with the guest house.

The bed was not comfortable at all. Best to replace it. And the shower curtain was a nuisance, I just tucked it away. Overall I enjoyed my stay, loved meeting the oom and tanie and their precious animals

The accommodation and gardens were very unusual with being decorated and surrounded in artwork done by the owner, who was very nice, friendly and chatty. It was ideally situated and in walking distance of Hartbeespoort main street and attractions.

The larger rooms/accommodation looked stunning but we were in the Studio Flat, which unfortunately didn't have a wardrobe/cupboards or drawers for our clothes, which I didn't realize when I booked it, so we were living out of our suitcase. The pool water was discolored and didn't appear to be maintained. As beautiful and unusual as the accommodation and gardens looked from a distance, it could do with a bit of a face lift in some areas.

The tranquility, the art, and the intimate atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the staff were very helpful, Overall value for money.

This really is a colourful arty place. You feel really at home and it was super comfortable. The art is really out of this world. The facilities were great and we used the pool both days. We stayed in the smoky charcoal room and it really looks like how the pictures are!

The bed is really soft . Nothing else to complain about.

Beautiful guesthouse and the host is amazing , the personnel is always available to assist . The rooms are big enough and the garden is very exotic.

Everything was just perfect , maybe they can adjust the heater in the executive room as it was difficult to adjust to the required warm temperature.

When I booked, the location was important due to the drinking and driving rules. It stated the Guest house was 0.3m from the wine farm we were to visit. It was for this reason we chose this guesthouse. Unfortunately, it was 21 kilometers away!

This place is everything and more! The owner liased through email about all the details. She answered all questions thoroughly. Unfortunately I didn't meet her but the helpers there were very friendly and helpful. They assisted with luggage, checked on us daily and made sure we were comfortable. I can not wait to go back and explore all the rooms with they're different themes. This is the best place I've been at in a few years. So cozy, intimate and welcoming.

I hate that I had to leave before hearing Elsa's whole story. If I could, I would've loved to spend even an hour with her .

There was no closet for our clothes

Diese Unterkunft habe ich zum ersten Mal besucht, aber meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Die Zimmer und der Garten sind außergewöhnlich liebevoll und kunstvoll gestaltet. Auch die Sauberkeit und der sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Umgang lassen keine Wünsche offen. Ich habe bereits für die nächste Reisegruppe im nächsten Jahr die Zimmer reserviert. As a tour guide, it is very important to me to be able to offer travel group members suitable accommodation. For me, the location, comfort, cleanliness and friendliness are crucial. This was my first time visiting this accommodation, but it exceeded my expectations. The rooms and garden are exceptionally lovingly and artistically designed. The cleanliness and the very friendly and uncomplicated service leave nothing to be desired. I have already reserved rooms for the next tour group next year.

we simply loved everything about this mystical sanctuary! Our room was most gorgeous with this lovely bathtub and candles !. I loved the dishes and extra's in the kitchen like the aroma oils in the salt bowl - the decor is most beautiful too. You can only be inspired when you walk in the garden and view all the beautiful art. You totally won our hearts to definitly come again!! The pool was most refreshing too and the hospitality was most welcoming and proffessional. Thank you Elsa and team - love Manny and Dori- we will be back!!

Most beautiful guesthouse I’ve ever seen!

The place is so colourful I love it , it is called the art guesthouse for reason , the art that is there it is so beautiful

Exceptional service, the staff even cleaned the room while we were out and were on duty whenever we needed them. Towels and other useables were readily available for all the amenities, including the pool.

Would have liked better lighting by the pool area at night.

The place is exactly how I saw it, such a beautiful place. The staff Timothy and Elsa the owner were marvelous indeed. It was home away from home❤️🏡❤️🏡❤️🏡❤️

I would be lying

Elsa and Timothy are great hosts and always make you feel welcome. We had a great weekend with wonderful artwork all around us, courtesy of Elsa's workmanship. The executive suite was spacious and comfortable, so many pillows, throws, and blankets to go around. There is a flatscreen TV with DStv, Wi-fi, and a kitchenette with plates, utensils, and complimentary coffee, tea, and sugar. The fridge is stocked up with still water and a jug of milk every day. There was a complimentary house keeping service to keep the space tidy while we were away. The bathroom is extremely spacious with a shower - including a soap dispenser, and large bath that can accommodate 2 people. The romantic ambiance is enhanced with all the candles you can light. We also had the opportunity to braai some meat on your lovely patio outside the room. The pool area and yard is tidy and full of mysterious art pieces that sometimes catch you off guard at night, but a treat nevertheless. There are so many trees that cover the space that feels like a retreat away from your retreat. We'll definitely be back.

Such a beautiful property - the rooms were really special and all thoughtfully decorated. We had a small kitchen with the facilities we needed. There was a little terrace and the garden was stunning - trees all around, a swimming pool and more lovely artistic touches.

The property is beautiful and quirky. The gardens are tranquil. Owner and staff very friendly. We felt safe and comfortable.

The only downside for us was the lack of towel rail or hooks in the bathroom. Having said that, this is something I come across throughout the hospitality business. Not very soundproof.

Such a magical and beautiful place! So colourful the owner has created a haven for artlovers caringly over the past 25 years.The garden a real treat.

The kitchen area could do with an update, best to hust heat things up. However, the crockery, etc.is gorgeous matching the room vibe!

Loved the art, stunning! Rooms a bit cluttered, rooms are clean but spiderwebs and spiders made us uncomfortable. Can't open doors for fresh air, not very private. Staff ...very friendly, very helpful.
