We visit this hotel several times. Always great. This time breakfast was much better than before.

Lo que más me gusta es la ubicación que uno puede caminar por todos los alrededores del centro de boca Las camas son muy cómodas y el desayuno es muy bueno, si te quedas más de 2 días te das cuenta que varian la comida y que no siempre es lo mismo. Cuenta con una barra que también sirven algo de comida. Siempre la atención del personal es muy buena.

Me dijeron que la habitación había sido renovada pero lo único que no te fue que fue pintada y pusieron papel de pared las duchas seguían siendo las mismas y hacían mucho ruido al momento de abrirlas y el televisor está muy desactualizado no cuenta con las aplicaciones de hoy en día . Mi habitación estaba frente el pasillo donde estaba la máquina de hielo y hacía mucho ruido durante la noche, ya sé que para la próxima.

Occasionally guests would be loud in the hallways in the wee hours. When family and I were sleeping? That was annoying but not the hotel's fault.

Clean hotel. Well apportioned. Great breakfast bar. Helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. It was also in a great location, close to dining and the beach.

The hotel was under renovation so some facilities were not available e.g., the gym and I wasn't told this at the time of booking as this was important to me.

For a visit to FAU it was in a perfect location close to everything. The room was perfect for a family of three. The staff was kind and attentive to the needs of their guests.

This is our 'go to' hotel when we have to travel to the Boca Raton area. The rooms are large and comfortable. The covered parking garage is appreciated. The breakfast offerings are wonderful, with a fresh fruit bowl, dried nuts & fruits, freshly made yogurt, muffins, two types of eggs, perfectly cooked bacon, etc. There are numerous restaurants close by for dinner. The front desk staff is friendly.

We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt in Boca while on vacation with our family! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location with plenty to do nearby. A special thank you to Kassy, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly welcome. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service made our experience even better. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Hyatt to anyone visiting Boca!

We were pretty impressed with this place! For the price we paid it exceeded our expectations! Yes a little worn, yes some expected street noise, but clean and safe and comfortable! The breakfast options were great but get there early as it's crowded and running out within the last hour! Coffee was always full though! The pool was fabulous with cool water on a hot day! The area was well lit at night, and just a 10 minute walk to the Funky Biscuit music venue. Also, a 15 minute Lyft/Uber ride from the Amtrak station. Hotel employees were all so very friendly and helpful! We recommend Louie Bossi downstairs but not affiliated with the hotel. Amazing food and atmosphere! This was such a wonderful weekend trip on the train, to the hotel, to the music venue!

Here is my experience with the hotel: 1. My bathroom got flooded from a leak in the ceiling. They are redoing the 15th floor above, and a valve broke, which flooded my bathroom. I moved rooms. 2. Room #2: a cockroach ran across my desk as I was talking on the phone. I had to move rooms again so they could spray. 3. Room #3: the air conditioner did not work (it was 78 degrees in the room). I had to move rooms again. 4. I was there for a funeral. Yes, I moved 3 times. Four different rooms in 6 nights during an already emotional time. So, what did they do? Essentially, I got one night taken off the bill. 3 moves = 1 night for them. You decide if you want to stay there ... The staff was nice. They had sympathy for my situation. Too bad the management didn't.

We got a room on the 14th floor so we had an amazing view. The room was also larger than we expected Staff was usually very friendly, breakfast was great and we really enjoyed using the pool. The location was very close to the centre of Boca Raton, so that was very convenient. The parking garage was great too & $25 per night for parking was reasonable.

Couldn't think of anything they could improve. The hotel is a little older, but the rooms didn't feel outdated or anything like that.

This property is conveniently located minutes away from the beach, retail, restaurants and grocery stores. Free breakfast is always a great perk. The shower was also very clean.

The room was very clean but the couch had a bit of an odor and the base boards need to be concealed.

Location in Boca was great. Breakfasts were excellent. Staff was very helpful and pleasant at all times. Housekeeping worked hard, rooms were clean BUT rooms and hallways need updating. Hallways need better light, and rooms need updating. Furniture was very worn, and paint needed. Though the rooms were very clean. Ceiling tiles were loose and concerning, chipped paint, stains on couches and carpets, beyond what daily housekeeping could keep. Front desk worked hard to get me and my friend a room that felt safe and in better condition than the first two rooms.

Front desk staff were sullen, didn't find them welcoming and first impressions are long-lasting so training in this area may be necessary. The room had a musty smell (like s 'wet carpet' smell) so that was unpleasant.

Creo que deberian mejorar con el desayuno. Para la cantidad de personas que se hospedan deberian hacer un desayuno que alcance. Estuve dos dias, el primer dia no habia platos, y el segundo se acabo el huevo, los panqueques. Y como sigerencia podrian extender el horario hasra las 11 am.

I stayed at this Hyatt hotel and had a frightening experience around 3 a.m. Someone attempted to open the connecting door between my room and the adjoining room. Thankfully, I had used the top lock, so they were not able to enter—but seeing that door open when I got up during the night was extremely unsettling. The hotel said they filed a report, but I did not feel that the response matched the seriousness of the situation. I’m sharing this so other guests, especially women traveling alone, remember to check every lock in the room including any connecting-room door and use all available security locks before going to sleep. Safety should never feel like an afterthought. Please be careful!

Always a great experience when staying at Hyatt Brand Hotels & Downtown Boca never disappoints. There was a group of 13 people down there for an event and everyone had a great time.

This Hyatt property is much better than average and I recommend giving it a try. Parking is expensive (at least for me) at $25 per night. The breakfasts were really good and the staff are approachable and competent. The view of the pool and ocean from the 12th floor was epic.

As a loyal Hyatt member, I was especially impressed by my stay at Hyatt Place Boca Raton/Downtown. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for enjoying downtown Boca Raton. The entire experience exceeded my expectations and reflected the quality and hospitality I value as a Hyatt member. I look forward to returning.

Although the room was spacious, it was lacking character and charm. It was very sterile. You should probably fix the seat cushions at the restaurant. See attached

It’s a great location and it was clean.

The bed mattress needed to be replaced. It was uneven and we couldn’t sleep properly. Also the large glass bathroom door entry sliding mounts were broken and that was dangerous. It was obviously broken, it was hard to believe it hadn’t been previously fixed.

Hotel was conveniently close to Brightline station. It was a place to sleep while visiting nearby family. Hotel informed us they had to cut power to rooms for an hour in the middle of the night, and they ended up not needing to do it. But, they never took into consideration guests that need power to sleep for medical devices. CPAP. Attitudes on some (not all) late night crews were very "eye roll" at the guests. And, housekeeping skipped over our room. So, late at night, they dropped sheets off expecting us to make our own bed. The positive is sleep was comfortable. Shower was not that strong pressure but ok. AC worked well and they had a cool soft serve vending machine the kids liked to use to get ice cream. Didnt use the gym (it was ok) or the pool or the free breakfast, so can't really comment there.

I highly recommend the Hyatt place in Boca Raton. Great location. The hotel was clean. The pool was very clean and comfortable. Because the pool is on the seventh floor, there is a nice breeze. The gym is clean. I enjoyed the peloton bike rides.

Friendly staff

Staff is very friendly and helpful they are always there to help. The breakfast is superb, I wish they would have turkey bacon or sausage for those of us that don't eat pork. Most hotels have that. They are very clean which is important when you travel.

The location in downtown Boca is great; it used to be nicer when the little patio tapas place down the street was open, but they closed it to make way for another hotel.

This was a very enjoyable stay. A mini vacation that was very much needed. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the entire stay.

irst, I want to be clear that my concerns are not with the hotel staff. Throughout my stay, the front desk personnel, housekeeping staff, and hotel employees were professional, courteous, helpful, and welcoming. My complaint is directed solely at the valet parking operation that services the hotel entrance. This was not my first stay at this property. Unfortunately, every visit has involved negative interactions with the valet personnel, but this most recent experience crossed the line from poor customer service into a serious safety concern. After driving approximately three hours from Orlando with my wife and young daughter, I arrived at the hotel exhausted and needing to unload luggage and safely assist my family out of the vehicle. Upon arrival, multiple valet attendants aggressively directed me where to park using rude gestures and an unnecessarily confrontational tone. Rather than assisting arriving guests, they created a stressful and hostile environment before we even entered the hotel. The most alarming issue occurred while my wife, daughter, and I were unloading our belongings. Valet personnel continued moving and operating vehicles in extremely close proximity to my family without ensuring that all passengers, particularly my young child, were safely clear of the area. Their actions created a situation where my daughter could have been struck by a moving vehicle. As a parent, this was completely unacceptable. A valet operation's primary responsibility should be guest safety. Instead, the behavior I observed demonstrated a lack of situational awareness, poor judgment, and disregard for the safety of guests and their children. Ironically, I noticed a significant difference in how customers were treated at the adjacent restaurant valet area, where attendants appeared friendly and welcoming. In contrast, the valet personnel servicing the hotel entrance consistently appeared irritated, impatient, and dismissive toward hotel guests. The result is that the valet operation damages the guest experience before guests even enter the hotel lobby. In my case, I was so frustrated by the interaction that I seriously considered canceling my stay. I strongly urge Hyatt management to review the conduct, training, supervision, and safety procedures of the valet operation serving this property. Regardless of whether the valet company is operated independently or by a third party, it is operating on hotel property and directly impacts guest safety and Hyatt's reputation. My primary concern is not poor customer service. My concern is that the current operating practices create unnecessary safety risks for guests and children. I request that Hyatt investigate this incident, review any available security footage from the arrival area, evaluate the valet company's safety procedures, and take corrective action before a guest or child is injured.

Bathroom and beds were clean and the employees very pleasant. Parking was easy access. The restaurant Louie Bossi in the first floor was excellent. Location was excellent.

The furniture in pool area and breakfast dining areas dirty. The key fob cap kept falling and the door kept staying stuck in room 706.

The Hyatt Place Boca Raton is an excellent location. The parking was very convenient however you have to pay for it. It would be top notch if parking was included. The customer service was superb! The check agent and manager were very nice and accommodating. They really do whatever they can do to make you comfortable. I was impressed with their service. The free breakfast is excellent. The pool area is wonderful. The hallways and rooms could use some updating, but it was clean comfortable and i’m definitely staying there again. If traveling to Boca Raton for beaches, FAU activities, work, or just to vacation, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of the Hyatt in Boca is great!! Walking distance (a mile) to the beach, lots of restaurants, stores, coffee shops, etc. The staff is excellent, always welcoming all times of the day and truly appreciate that kindness. The rooms, lobby, eating, bar areas were all very clean. I love staying at this location. Thank you Hyatt staff!

The hotel has a very good location in the downtown and we walked to the museum and restaurants. The hotel view from high floor is Beatiful, we enjoyed the ocean view, very clean and quiet.

Nice, clean and affordable. I have stayed many times visiting my son in college in Boca. Rooms are spacious and staff is wonderful.

Never stay at this place as a women alone. Was assaulted in the lobby and the staff just stood by and asked about it days later and blamed me. Then the staff seemed as they didn’t care when I was consistently contacted by strangers offering drinks and asking very private questions even by staff. I was followed on the elevated and had to manipulate my way to my room multiple times. I know I’ll get attacked for this review but I have never felt so unsafe especially in Boca. I’ll never stay downtown again.

The Hyatt Place at Boca Raton is a superb Hotel and the service and location are exceptional! The experience staying in the heart of downtown was amazing. If you want to experience downtown Boca, while being close to the beach (5 min drive, 20 min walk), the Hyatt Place is the perfect location.

I booked this hotel because I needed a place to stay while attending a friend’s wedding nearby. From the second I walked in to check in, I was greeted by very friendly staff. The location was perfect within walking distance of my friend’s venue in a beautiful part of Boca Raton. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations, with plenty of options and attentive staff offering to clear finished plates. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

If uninterrupted sleep is important to you, there isn't even a choice. Do not stay at the Hyatt Place Boca Raton/Downtown. My partner and I booked 3 nights in a suite, along with a large block of rooms for friends and family for an important event weekend. Before arriving, we were assured our formal request for a quiet room would be upheld. It was not. We were awakened multiple times per night between 10pm and 3am by explosive street noise that penetrated the room, unimpeded by the hotel's poor sound insulation. At 2am on the first night, we called the front desk. No room swap was offered or possible, according to staff. The next morning, the manager came to apologize and again offered no solution. We remained in that room for the rest of the weekend. As frequent travelers across South Florida, we have never encountered street noise like this at any comparable hotel in the region, despite coming prepared with earplugs and a white noise machine. The street noise rendered both useless. Over the next two nights, I recorded over 30 loud noise events, several of which woke both of us. The full recording is on YouTube under "Hyatt Place Boca Raton/Downtown Loud Rooms Street Noise" and the audio is not amplified. That is what you would hear from your bed. This was on the top floor, which means any floor lower would have been that much louder still. When we raised this with Hyatt Consumer Affairs, management deflected the noise as "external" and outside their control. But three things were entirely within their control: the sound insulation of their units, the assurance of a quiet room made at the time of booking, and the solutions offered once we complained. Their only defense was that their windows are storm-resistant, which provides no acoustic protection, and Hyatt market management as since confirmed there is no sound-proofing for these rooms. This hotel has known about this problem for years. I found over 20 noise complaints with management acknowledgments going back to 2018 across Google Reviews, TripAdvisor, and Kayak. This is not a surprise to them. When I pressed consumer affairs on why a noisy room was offered despite our explicit request, they backpedaled, claiming no quiet room could ever be guaranteed, while offering nothing to make it right. Hotel market management was intent only on deflecting blame without providing a solution or taking any ownership. No compensation, no accountability, and no follow-through. The Hyatt Place Boca Raton/Downtown is among the oldest hotels in the area with no notable renovations. Sound insulation was never prioritized, and a decade of complaints has changed nothing. That is a choice. We enjoyed the area and plan to return, just not here. The Boca Raton Marriott has undergone recent renovations specifically including noise-suppressing technology. I contacted them directly to confirm this and reviewed their guest feedback across the same platforms: street noise comes up only in the context of how well the rooms block it. At a recent stay at another Marriott property, I raised a room concern and was immediately offered an alternative. The contrast in responsiveness could not be sharper, and at a similar price point and location, the choice is clear. Bottom line: If you are planning to stay in Boca Raton and intend to sleep, choose another hotel. We did not have a single uninterrupted night of sleep during our three nights of stay due to noise, and management did not move us or provide us any other pathway to resolution during or after our stay. This hotel is not sound-proofed at all (confirmed by Hyatt market management), Hyatt will take no ownership of the issue, and they will not make any attempt to solve it.

under staffed, not very helpful. The front desk was not manned because the girl working was also covering the coffee and snack bar. A man came to the desk twice in the 15min i waited but didnt even greet me, and walked away. The girl who greated me didnt acnoledge the wait, and was not overy hospitible. I request a room away from the elivators howeve,r when the elivator doors opened my room was the first one there. I tried calling the front desk 3 times to changed it but no one picked up. when I went down finaly told her, she stated I needed to go get my bags from the room before she would give me the next room key, when i asked if someone could just follow me up so i didnt ave to lug my bags down she said no. The rooms are dated, though it looks like they are renovating.

Condensing my complaint, I sent to corporate: 1. At check-in My family was having a "moment" with each other while in the lobby (wedding stress) and later came back to the front desk to see the attendant was literally talking about us!! And KEPT TALKING after we had been standing there. I understand talking about crazy customers BUT GO IN THE BACK??. I am also in a customer-facing job and that baffled me. 2. The Bride (my sister) paid a ridiculous fee to have welcome bags delivered to each guest's room which they NEVER DID, even during check-in when we tried to clarify the miscommunication, the desk attendant said, "That will have to be a tomorrow problem" What?? No apologies? No, "I'll make sure to relay that information" and she clearly never did because the bags sat for DAYS. She might've forgotten because she was too busy talking!! 3. I had an allergic reaction to the feather pillows, let the woman at the desk know (WHO WAS WONDERFUL) and she asked housekeeping to replace all the bedding and grab foam pillows. When I get back to my room what do I find? FEATHER PILLOWS AGAIN. I had already gone to Urgent Care once for a steroid shot that cost me $180 and I was in disbelief that housekeeping would either be lazy or completely negligent to redo everything just to give me MORE feather pillows. Maybe they were trying to intentionally end me at that point.

Rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Noise was at a higher level than expected from the room to those next door. The staff on arrival were not very friendly or welcoming. Again unlike my other expierences with Hyatt. Location is perfect.
