Rien ne nous a déçu, si ce n’est de n’avoir fait qu’une nuit sur le bateau.

Orchid Classic Cruise superó nuestras expectativas, tanto por la comodidad y el ambiente del barco como por la atención del personal, que fue muy amable, profesional y atento en todo momento. El recorrido fue precioso y pudimos disfrutar de paisajes increíbles mientras nos relajábamos y desconectábamos de la rutina. La organización fue excelente y todo estuvo cuidado al detalle, haciendo que la experiencia resultara muy especial. Sin duda, una experiencia totalmente recomendable. Si volviera a tener la oportunidad, repetiría sin pensarlo.

For the value, the whole thing felt very very rushed. It is listed as 3 days two nights but it feels much more like 1 full day, 2 half days, and two nights. Activities could be more flexible as there is a lot to do in the area

Outstanding staff, great ship Orchid Classic 2 with just 14 rooms. Rooms are excellent. Nice program, outstanding cocktails at decent price during happy hour.

Todo. Una experiencia perfecta. Nos recogieron en el hotel con su propio transfer, a mitad de camino hicimos parada para ver como tratan las perlas. El capitán del barco hablaba inglés perfecto y nos iba informando en cada momento de las actividades y horarios. La comida bueniiiiisima, el equipo muy amable y atentos. La habitación espectacular, con bañera con vistas al exterior, la cama cómoda, todo muy limpio y amplio. Hicimos una excursión a una cueva en Cat Ba. Todo muy bien, repetiriamos sin dudar!!!

we wanted to swim but are in our late 70's and the only way was up and down a very steep metal ladder. Also there was a boat spewing oil into the water delivering to our boat.....that made it anything but conducive to swimming..... We couldn't go to any cute little beaches as shown in photos because the tides were wrong. A lot of the boats had slides into the water which would have been fun....ours didn't. I think Halong Bay has lost some of its charm or maybe we are just too old. Too many other boats even with a 2 night cruise.....it was a bit boring. The little village you go to isn't very interesting....just more shops.

השייט במקום מרהיב. הצוות משתדל מאוד להיות אדיב ושירותי, טיפולי ספא טובים. המדריך TIEN היה יוצא מן הכלל, סדנת בישול נחמדה.

בערב היה קצת משעמם. לא היה על הספינה שום אירוע אווירה- מוסיקה, ריקודים וכד.

C'était vraiment une belle expérience. Nous avons reçu un upgrade dernière minute pour la croisière Orchid Premium. Avec seulement cinq chambres sur le bateau, nous avons été vraiment gâtés. Le bateau est tranquille et élégant. Le personnel est très accomodant, sympa et gentil. Notre chambre était merveilleuse et avait une terrasse privée. La nourriture est abondante et très bonne. Nous avons eu droit à deux activités en dehors du bateau: nous avons fait du kayak la première journée et visité une cave la deuxième journée. Les activités n'étaient pas longues mais elles étaient agréables. Je recommande fortement Orchid Premium.

Very comfortable boat . All service and food excellent . Special mention to Hannah on reservations who gave excellent communication and went over and above to accommodate our requests.

Catered well and attentive to coeliac disease / gluten free diet. In particular our main waiter Jack was very careful about this. Nice traditional cruise with good excursions and fun tour guide

Just an incredible experience. Was it perfect? No, the mattress might have been a bit hard and we might have gotten some rain here and there, but when you start getting into these types of details, well... Aboard our ship, the crew was just lovely, especially Elle! She was very caring and made our trip that much better ! Thank you again, we will be back !

O serviço e a equipe são impecáveis. A equipe é gentil e faz o máximo em um navio velho, sem manutenção e que nada parece com as fotos.

Não se deixe enganar pelas fotos. Trata-se de um navio velho, sem cuidado. O quarto cheirava a mofo e desencadeou uma rinite alérgica severa. Os móveis do navio são velhos e acabados, assim como o equipamento de lazer. Há fios desfiando, tinta saindo, manchas. O colete salva-vidas é velho e estava quebrado. Péssima impressão para um navio que se diz ser luxoso. Por longe, você percebe que há opções melhores e que o preço é melhor.

its was a bit sad to see the condition of the waters around the area and the cloudy, smoky skies, but the cruise was run really well and we still had a great time

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und konnte auch größtenteils gut Englisch sprechen. Die Zimmer waren traumhaft schön. Als jemand, der zuvor noch nie eine Kreuzfahrt gemacht hat und etwas skeptisch war, kann ich auch sagen dass es sich sehr sicher angefühlt hat und das Schiff eine angenehme Größe hatte.

Nur, dass die Getränke im Preis nicht inbegriffen und für vietnamesische Verhältnisse recht teuer waren.

The room. Spacious and comfortable. The views were impressive.

A tourist trap. The boat only moved about 5NM in a procession of 10s of other similar cruise boats. We were back at the departure point by 9 am. We could have easily seen as much on a day cruise. Very disappointed overall.

A ce prix là dommage qu'aucune boisson basique ne soit incluse: thé glacé, cappuccino, bière sont payants y compris pendant les repas. Finalement le bateau haut de gamme navique peu. Les excursions sont très mal organisées. Par exemple jour 2: 2h30 se navigation pour passer royalement une demi heure dans un village et sans temps libre ou shopping. Et ne pensez pas que vous y allez avec le bateau haut de gamme, non vous êtes transféré de speed boat, en bateau plus petits...au total 4 changements

Very spacious rooms and great views of Halong Bay . Was warmly greeted by all staff and Jimmy when boarding the vessel . The food was delicious and the activities such as kayaking , t’ai chi and cooking class was fun . The waiters particularly James were very courteous and attentive . Helping us to our seats every time we got up to get some food or drinks . All the staff weee very pleasant and made our stay very enjoyable . Very peaceful and relaxing stay

Schönes Schiff. Sehr netter Service. Die Landschaft der Halong Bucht ist atemberaubend. Aber die Kreuzfahrten sind sehr touristisch und man teilt sich die Natur mit extrem vielen anderen Kreuzfahrtschiffen. Die Programme der Schiffe sind aber wohl alle gleich.

Zu kurze Fahrtzeit des Hauptschiffes. Es liegt sehr viel vor Anker. Aber das Schiff selbst ist sehr schön und die Crew sehr nett.

The boat was SO gorgeous . Lots of traditional wood teamed with very modern clean bathrooms and crisp linens . The staff left us speechless , so warm and welcoming , they treat everyone like royalty , you leave feeling so spoilt . The food was the best we had in Vietnam and that is saying something ! Obviously the bay and scenery is divine , and the activities like Cat Ba island , swimming , kayaking , cookery class and Tai Chi just made it feel even better . Tien who looks after everyone is just so funny and helpful. Also , cocktail happy hour went down well with all , really expertly mixed too - no syrups here . I am so glad we chose Orchid classic as some of the other boats in the bay were either looking quite tired or mega bling and modern so lost that traditional Vietnamese touch .

The boat was beautifully designed in the classic IndoChina design but what shone out above everything was the exceptional service of Manager Mr Mel, Jack our waiter and all the staff who did their utmost, and succeeded, in ensuring we had the best possible experience ever! I don’t have enough words to praise or thank them. I would also like to point out that they catered very adequately to our vegan and vegetarian dietary restrictions and all the food was in abundance and beautifully presented! I also loved the activities of sunrise Thai chi on the top deck with wonderful Mr Mel, the cycling and fish massage on Cat Bha island, and the kayaking to the beautiful beaches for a swim, as well as the cooking demo and Happy Hour

This was the highlight of our trip. The boat was beautiful and rooms huge. Staff we so attentive. Our waiter Hardy made sure we always had a drink in our hands. All the experiences were great and the dinner was so yummy. Everything about this cruise was perfect. Even the cooler weather seemed to get nicer once we got on the boat.

Everything about this cruise was 1st class. This is a very crowded market so making the correct choice can be a challenge but from the hotel pickup through to disembarkation the quality of service and attention to detail couldn’t be faulted The size of each boat is a real benefit, with only 14 cabins we never felt like like we were just a number, there is plenty of space for everyone, even when you want some peace and quiet The food was excellent and whilst the price of drinks is definitely high by local standards when you compare to prices at home it’s still a great deal We’d highly recommend Orchid Cruises, you won’t be disappointed Special thanks to Lee and her team, especially Colada who looked after us well

Mr. Bang and team are great people and provide good service. Activities are good and plentiful. We were aboard Orchid Classic 1 at Lan Ha Bay. The area is very beautiful. The team from checkin to checkout very organized.

The biggest issue I have are the extras for drinks at the boat. I say drinks because its not just alcohol but also sparkling water and similar drinks that are not included in full board. One might even understand some things are lost in translation however, the prices are so exorbitant that you feel like you’re being swindled. Beers are starting from 70k, Wine by the glass 250k, sparkling water is 145k. I believe the management should include at least one alcoholic drink with each meal based on the prices that we are being charged. Next bad experience we had was the food. They served us New Zealand mussels in one of the courses of our dinner. in one of the courses of our dinner we don’t understand why Besides it not being cooked very well. Besides it not being cooked very well. There are many more examples but I think the summary is it would have been better if we had more of Vietnamese food and simpler food. They had pancake demonstration during the evening which was tastier than all the meals we had on the boat. WIFI is non existent. It simply doesn’t work. If it’s important for you than book a cruise that has working WIFI. Same with TV. It doesn't work.

Wir waren nicht die Einzigen, die von der ständig lauten Musik im Restaurant während Frühstück, Lunch und Dinner ausgesprochen genervt waren. Der Bitte nach geringerer Lautstärke wurde nicht nachgekommen. Auch die Auswahl der Musik entsprach eher einer westlichen Disco. In dem Preis für die Exclusive Suite sollten Soft Drinks, Kaffee und Tee enthalten sein.

Fantastic staff, the cabins were very clean and big, wall to wall glass. Shout out to the designer who put the big modern tub right by the window. Our ship only had 14 cabins which was lovely and intimate. Fabulous food (and lots of it), and all the excursions were expertly organized.

Annoyed at the forced 30 minute stop at a massive pearl shop where you're herded thru like cattle. This was run by Orchid thru their pre arranged transport from Hanoi. Also the beds could have bigger pillows, but that's a minor note.
