Mein kleines Einzelzimmer war zwar eng, aber so findig ausgestattet, dass die Größe keine Rolle spielte. Ein sehr bequemes Bett, in dem ich hervorragend geschlafen habe, ein Kühlschrank, eine Nespresso Maschine mit Zubehör, eine Flasche Wasser sowie Bademantel und Schlappen fürs Spa erwarteten mich, dazu eine edle Einrichtung mit hochwertigen Möbeln aus echtem Holz, schönem Holzboden und guter Beleuchtung. Obendrauf gab es eine gemütliche und geräumige Loggia mit Blick auf den Berg und die darunterliegende Restaurant-Außenterrasse. Laut bei Betrieb natürlich, aber die Fenster sind unfassbar gut schallisolierend. Sehr geschmackvoll, das Ambiente, und das Personal samt Chef professionell und absolut gastfreundlich. Die Parking-Lösung fand ich wunderbar, es hat rund ums Hotel freies Parken für Gäste. Ich habe sowohl abends ausgezeichnet gespeist, als auch morgens königlich gefrühstückt und bin vollauf glücklich mit meinem Aufenthalt! Sehr gerne komme ich wieder.

Das Preis- Leistungsverrhältnis ist der einzige Makel. Kann mit dem Event Sarnerselauf zusammenhängen. Frühstück sollte inklusive sein.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast selection is a bit too extensive. A smaller selection would be perfectly sufficient and could make the hotel a little cheaper.

设备差，冲澡的设施真不行！而且房间还有蜘蛛网！小冰箱很难冰的起来！……………

Igényes a szoba berendezése, tágas fürdő, szép kilátás. Volt légkondi, igaz mobil, de legalább volt. Volt kávégép, lehetett reggel a szobában is kávézni. Volt parkoló, hotelvendég táblával, így nem kellett fizetni érte. A vacsora nagyon pazar volt, volt élőzenés spanyolgitáros bácsi.

Nem működött a hűtő. A mobil klíma brutál hangos volt. Az étterem svájci árakkal mérve is kissé húzós. Két fő vacsorája minden extra nélkül 100CHF.

Le manque de climatisation c'est un choix de l établissement mais avec les chaleurs qui augmentent les ventilateurs sont pas assez performants !!

The rooms are very hot, no air conditioning ,no operational fridge, bad reception attitude when my son asked him about WiFi password , we requested drinking water , they replied the kitchen is closed !!!

Er waren geen gordijnen boven het dakraam waardoor de kinderen erg vroeg wakker werden van het licht.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Balkon gebucht gehabt. Und die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet und waren groß Der Ausblick auf die Berge machte es noch schöner.

Da wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten kann ich nichts dazu sagen. Es gab noch ein Wellnessbereich den wir aber nicht benutzt haben. Da wir nur dort übernachtet haben.

Das Zimmer unter dem Dach ließ sich nur schlecht abkühlen, obwohl es für Juli nicht besonders heiß war.

Tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal. Reichhaltiges und gutes Frühstück. Auch das Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Leider nicht klimatisiert und sehr warm in der Nacht, trotz Ventilator im Schlafzimmer.

Sehr gastfreundliches, zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal, bei dem man sich von Anfang an willkommen fühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön, modern und ansprechend eingerichtet. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Unser Zimmer verfügte leider über keine Klimaanlage. Gerade an heissen Tagen kann die Temperatur im Zimmer dadurch unangenehm hoch werden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das hoteleigene Restaurant mit gehobener und qualitativ sehr guter Küche. Auch für Radreisende ist das Hotel bestens geeignet: Es gibt eine grosszügige Fahrradgarage mit sicheren Abstellmöglichkeiten und Lademöglichkeiten für E-Bikes.

Leider hatte das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage. Gerade bei heissen Tagen kann die Temperatur im Zimmer unangenehm hoch sein. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit überzeugendem Service und guter Gastronomie – lediglich eine Klimaanlage wäre an warmen Sommertagen sehr willkommen gewesen.

Nice location, comfortable bed, very stylish, modern furnishings, great views.

My room was on the road side so was louder than my parents but fine with the fan on to cover the noise. Need that fan as was hot in the room! July and no aircon and i think the bar fridges run really hot.

The town is very cute and friendly. The playground was one of the best we’ve been to! The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was nice.

It was a bit hot without air conditioning and no screens on the windows so the mosquitoes and flys were coming in when we tried to get cooler air.

The quality and amenities provided. Location is spot on.

The room was relatively good size although the layout was a little off to use the second part of the room. The restaurant staff was kind.

It was extremely hot during our stay (late June), and there was no air conditioning. The fan provided didn’t help, and our room was well over 30°C every day. The restaurant was also very noisy, playing music from 6 a.m. until at least 11 p.m. As our room overlooked the restaurant patio, we had to keep the windows closed to be able to sleep. To make matters worse, the fridge in our room was broken. When we reported it to reception, the response was simply, “We know.” As a result, we had to ask the restaurant staff to store our bottle of water in their fridge. Everyone was grumpy. There are no tourist information leaflets or trail maps in English.

This is a beautiful, modern hotel with fantastic attention to detail. We loved the cozy rooms and the great views they offered, and the excellent breakfast was the perfect way to start the day—a really wonderful stay overall!

Lovely room with balcony, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast fast great, a very large choice and well presented. Dinner was exceptional, and so was the service.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang, sehr leckeres Essen/Frühstücksbuffet und tolles, modern eingerichtetes Hotel mit allem was man braucht. Komme gerne wieder🫶.

The staff was super nice and attentive. Gave us the best service. The hotel itself is in very high standard and located in the middle of this beautiful village.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were truly impressed by every aspect of our experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, yet it offers a peaceful and charming atmosphere. A beautiful stream flows behind the hotel, creating a picturesque and almost pastoral setting. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the capsule coffee machine, the quality amenities, and the cleanliness of both the room and bathroom. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, allowing us to rest very well. The restaurant was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Another great advantage is the parking facility; guests can conveniently use the parking area by placing the card provided at reception inside their vehicle. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. We were extremely satisfied with our experience. If we had the opportunity to stay one more night, we would definitely have done so. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sarnen is a lovely quaint area with walkable amenities, Jordan is a lovely restaurant with brilliant staff, just behind (but not affiliated with) the hotel. As we checked in we were upgraded to a room with a balcony over the car park and river which was slightly nicer than the room we booked.

For the price point in low season i really expect more, comparing this with previous stays in other hotels nearby and slightly further afield, you really don’t get much for your money. The hotel was not busy at all, breakfast was not included (unclear upfront).

Frühstücksbuffet Früher: gabs Kaffee im Kännchen. Heute: Self-Service Kaffee (****?) anstehen mit Touristen aus Asien.

The room is very clean, modern,new and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The room was a bit small. The balcony is made of wood and has open gaps between neighboring balconies. Since there is no air conditioning, you need to keep the window open, which means noise from nearby rooms can be heard easily. Breakfast was good costs CHF 19 per person and offers exactly the same menu every day. I would rate it 7/10.
