Reviewed Nov 28, 2024What a terrible experience we were put in a smoking room as hotel full and we were a late arrival - as non smokers it was awful - had to spray perfume on pillows . Then the aircon which must be 30 years old known as window rattlers - it was a toss up between stay cool or sleep as it was so loud it was like a jet engine by your bed - worst night ever !! Not recommended

The free 5km radius hotel shuttle is very much helpful and my main attraction point . I will stay here again if I return to Rivonia/Sandton The breakfast is good and all I needed for breakfast was availed

Reviewed Jul 22, 2019I like the friendliness of the staff. They were so attentive, supportive, caring and welcoming. Didn't like the limited amount of WiFi access. Although they explained, I still disagree as I have stayed in hotels that gave unlimited access. I could not watch a movie on my phone or Whatsapp video call family without being disconnected because I used up my daily amount.

On complaining, I was moved to the wheelchair accessible room which was the only other room available. Although quite comfortable and non-smoking the room did not have a bath. All things considered – a disappointing stay.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2017Our stay wasnt very good. I am surprised this hotel is well rated. Rooms are dated, reception staff not very friendly or helpful. Noone offered to help with bags, no elevator so had to carry bags up flight of stairs.We asked for a 07.30am wakeup call got one at 06.00 instead. Not a great stay. Especially not great in terms of value for money. Ther are many options in this area within same price range for better quality. Esp service quality.
