It’s good location

The rooms a bit old and one of the room stench of cigarette. When you landed as we expected to chill at pool but they renovated for 4days , just the whole time we stayed in Phnom Penh.

Era ruidoso y aunque nos cambiaron a una habitación con menos ruido seguía siendo ruidoso. Olía a desagüe. El aire acondicionado goteaba. Del desagua del lavabo también caía agua. Y cuando volvimos el segundo día por la noche, la habitación estaba como la habíamos dejado por la mañana, con la cama sin hacer, sin limpiar y sin cambiar toallas. Y todo esto siendo la habitación reservada una habitación deluxe en un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Nada que ver con el resto de hoteles en los que nos hemos alojado.

La baignoire, le lit, le balcon et l'espace dans la chambre L'emplacement est ok, il faudra pendre un tuktuk au pire pour rejoindre Riverside si on ne veut pas marcher 15min

Le personnel n'est pas assez réactif, il y'a du bruit dans les couloirs, des hommes à l'hygiène douteuse qui semble être bagarreur viennent avec des prostitués à 5h du matin qui crient dans les couleurs et l'hôtel les acceptent, je trouve ça honteux, les gens dorment à 5h du mat, il y'a un sentiment d'insécurité qui peut régner certains soir.. Point à améliorer.

Comfortable clean room with all the amenities we needed. The beds are super comfy! Helpful staff and overall great ambience. Excellent location.

The location and breakfast are two high points. A large buffet style breakfast with eggs etc cooked fresh how you like. The location is close to restaurants, bars and the foreshore. Lots of small supermarkets and ATMs are also nearby. The rooms are basic but clean and fresh. The beds and linens are of a good quality and staff are helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money for a cheap hotel.

The rooftop has amazing views but the pool is quite old and very shallow. The decor and deck need updating and no one seems to be manning the bar. But if you want to cool off on a hot day it will do the trick. The shower head was fixed to the wall but if you turn it on it sprays all over the place so you have to unattach it making it quite awkward to shower with it hanging in the bath.

The room is nice and super comfortable bed. Great location as it’s near Bassac Lane.

La piscine était sale. La literie a du être changé tellement les draps étaient sales. Plus d’eau pendant une soirée et le lendemain (douche, toilettes). Moisissures au plafond

Excellent pool - however could do with more sun loungers. Breakfast was a good variety of western and Asian cuisine which was nice. And the location was great for laundry services, restaurants and bars

Unfortunately the language barrier did prove difficult at times - but Google translate helped massively for all involved! Also sharing a room with anyone, the bathroom door/walls are tinted/frosted glass which could be uncomfortable for anyone who is sharing with a friend

God lokation og virkelig gode senge

Vi fik et værelse hvor aircondition konstant dryppede ned på badeværelsesgulvet, så der hele tiden var gennemblødt derude. Så fik vi lov til at skifte værelse, men fik et hvor kloakken virkelig lugtede og der var fyldt med skimmelsvamp på væggen + vandet løb ud på hele gulvet fra badekarret når man gik i bad

Fijne kamer met comfortabel bed en goede douche. Luxe handdoeken, leuk balkonnetje en mooi zwembad op het dak. De locatie is prima en met de ramen dicht (airco aan) hoor je het geluid van verkeer niet, dus het is rustig slapen.

We hadden muesli als ontbijt voor $5, maar dat ging echt nergens over zo klein was het bakje. Dus niet meer daar ontbeten.

Good property the staff were great. There was a few little hiccoughs with some of the discounts and wording that they had but all in all they’re doing their best.

The stone tub holds the heat.

24/7 reception, staff were so friendly and helpful, room was very clean and bug free (didn’t see a single mosquito for 4 weeks but it may be because we were on the 6th floor. Towels felt very fresh and clean, room always smelt so lovely after room cleaning and had fresh water every day. We walked a lot into the town and also TukTuk’d for journeys further away like the Grand Palace - it’s about $1 for a 10 minute ride on Grab so not a problem that this hotel isn’t exactly central to everything.

Pool area felt a little neglected - some of the tiles are missing and the stairs from floor 6 to the rooftop were very dusty.

Petite piscine sympa sur le toit, idéale pour se délasser après une journée à visiter Phnom Penh. Chambre agréable avec le balcon sur la ville. Personnel accueillant et toujours prêt à aider .

Emplacement dans un quartier populaire tres animé, non loin des centres d’interets de Phnom Penh. Chambre spacieuse.

Location was great 👍🏾. Staff were good 👍🏾. AC was cold 👍🏾 Bed comfortable 😌 and clean. Great value. .

Showers 🚿 were ok. Shower head wasn't adjustable and sprayed horizontally at around 1.8 meters straight into my face.

The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is clean and well maintained

Extractor fan in the bathroom was out of order, and one chair on the balcony was broken.

La habitacion olia a tabaco. Pequeño y ruidoso. La piscina estaba inhabilitada. El desayuno pobre.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable with good air con and a nice balcony, and a decent shower. Excellent location near Bassac Lane and only a couple of blocks from a decent supermarket.

There was an occasional bad smell from the bathroom pipes but the door could be closed fully to block that off.

Клининг каждый день по желанию. Отличные завтраки. Уеденный бассейн на крыше. Есть балкон и огромная ванна. Удобная кровать. Холодильник и чайник в номере также имеются. Питьевую воду набирали в обеденном зале в фильтре (важная поправка, так как на воде в Камбодже можно разориться 😂) Персонал 10/10

Monsoon Bassac is great: - The staff are really friendly and helpful - The rooms are spacious - It's not too noisy - The WiFi is generally reliable - The location is great - The breakfast is decent Generally, a really good stay

I understand they are currently renovating and investing in the hotel, so there is an excuse, but: - The rooms need re-painting - I stayed in two different rooms and the sink leaked in both - The rooftop pool and bar were closed - Despite having a 'do not disturb' sign, my room was accessed while I was out so that the AC could be fixed. I didn't request this and nor was I contacted about it. When they left, they didn't lock the door properly which was really worrying

The room was very nice. Comfortable bed. Very nice bathtub in the bathroom. A large balcony with a nice view of the neighborhood. And the neighborhood is great, it's super easy to walk to many places from here.

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom sometimes, but that wasn't a big problem.

No hot water in shower, staff is in need or training or re-training. Breakfast is poor.

Location excellent. All staff bar one was very friendly. Otherwise all convenient and comfortable.

I still don't know why I was charged an extra $12 on a few days stay from the fees advertised, but that may be Booking.com. Storage for clothes could be better and the wifi was a little slow. The room is definitely not set up for doing serious desk work. Finally, the breakfast can be seriously lacking if you get there in the last hour that it is available.

the property was good, the staff is really helpful. i have a problem with the hairdryer and boiler, they come to check and change for us🥺 i ask them where is the printing house, they offer me to print my document in receptionist! very helpful

Staffs are friendly however during my stay from Monday till Thursday,no housekeeping came....and the air-conditioning is not cold in room I stayed. Breakfast is ok, very simple. Overall that's the only issue I had otherwise everything is fine

Good location. Affordable accommodation but probably more of a 2 star hotel.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best stay. The hotel didn’t quite live up to the advertised photos—it looked much more dated in person. The pool was also disappointing, and we chose not to use it. Our balcony felt unstable, which was a concern, and overall, the property seems in need of some upgrades. There was a strong odour in our room that smelled like cigarettes, which made it uncomfortable. We were also let down by the limited breakfast options. Sadly, the experience didn’t meet our expectations.

Cheap hotel in a good location.

Rooms are nowhere near as nice as in the pictures. I thought that I was getting a good deal but it is no better than any other hotels in Phnom Penh at $30/night. Room had a weird smell (which they tried to cover with a scented candle). It was outdated and in need of refurbishment. Bed creaked and snapped at any movement. But at that price range what can you expect?
