Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Nette mitarbeiten, sehr zuvorkommend, haben weitergeholfen. Man konnte sich immer an sie wenden. Gut für einen Zwischenstopp und die Tour für den Wicklow Way.
Frühstück war ziemlich ausbaufähig. Besser eigenes Zeug mitbringen und als Zusatz zum Frühstück.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, Müsli, Joghurt, Toast und abgepackter Käse, Obst. Aber wenigstens eine Wurst oder gekochte Eier oder so wären nett gewesen für 9€. Es ist aber ok

The parking was limited and I had to leave my vehicle parked along the very narrow road. I didn’t have any issues but it caused some concern.

There could be better signage for the lodge when dropping onto the road from the Wicklow Way track. One girl missed the sign and ended up walking extra

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Krásné klidné místo s výhledem do kraje. Setkává se tu spousta lidí, ale ve společné kuchyni i koupelně jsme se vždy pohodlně vešli. Společné prostory jsou příjemně a zároveň prakticky vybaveny. Zážitkem bylo spaní ve stanu. V noci nám byla trochu zima, ale to byla chyba naší špatné připravenosti.
Jen ta plastová květina ve stanu - osobně je nemám ráda nikde, ale na místě s takovým výhledem opravdu není potřeba.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Ostello non lontano dalla Wicklow Way raggiungibile in pochi minuti, struttura accogliente da vero e proprio ostello. Pulito, ben organizzato e la nostra camera da 6 letti solo donne aveva anche bagno e doccia.
non è vicino a un centro abitato dove poter trovare market o ristoranti, per cui l’unica alternativa è usufruire della cucina interna purché si abbia con sè il cibo.

The car park was small. The communal kitchen and dining area in the evening were taken over by the smell of what other people were cooking (not necessarily pleasant).

The bed frame was so noisy when I moved that I woke everyone in the room. The window was not opening fully and the room got too hot and there was a smell as one person ate their meal in there. Not every bed has a bed lamp. Hardly any sockets. In this day & age, these are basic essentials.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Das Zelt ist einfach und praktisch eingerichtet. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Mit Tischen und Bänken direkt vor dem Zelt. Sehr ruhig und weit weg von jeglicher Zivilisation. Katzenliebhaber werden diesen Ort lieben. Lasst euch nicht täuschen, mindestens drei von ihnen sehen praktisch gleich aus ;-)
Das Bett war eine Luftmatratze und von unten nicht isoliert. Da es eine kalte Nacht war (10°C) war die Matratze entsprechend kalt. Zum Glück war die Bettdecke so gross, dass ich mich darin einwickeln konnte wie ein "Wrap" - so wurde es schliesslich auch von unten warm.

Unfortunately, a large group of guests was staying at the hostel and they were quite noisy even after midnight, which disturbed the peace.
