Upper House Boutique Guesthouse

We received a warm welcome and received a quick orientation of where to find what in the beautiful and spacious rooms. We arrived on a cold rainy day and it was lovely to have a woodburning heater in each room. A very special treat were the heating lamps in the bathroom! The shower is huge with immediate hot water! I appreacite the attention to detail at this guesthouse.

We had an amazing time at Upper Guest House. Stacey was the best host!! The unit was beautiful, and the attention to detail was really appreciated. My boyfriend and I ran 50km at the titanic trail race, and coming back to our bed being made was such a treat! The bath was also amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast as well. Thank you Stacey, we will definitely be back!

Freundliches Personal, sehr nette Vermieterin.

Ampia doccia.

Colazione servita in camera. Finiture e dettagli della stanza molto carenti.

Very comfortable bed in charming rooms, super warm at night, very peaceful and quiet location yet easy walk to the center of the small town and local restaurants!

Breakfast was served in the cottage

Excellent location, very close walking distance to the square. Our unit was surprisingly larger than what it looked like on the pictures. Very spacious and nicely designed.

The fireplace takes a while to get going, which might be a problem for guests not too experienced with that type of fireplace. The Wi-Fi was a bit up and down, but not an issue for us as we have our own data.

Great location within walking distance of restaurants and main town square

Nothing comes to mind

Sehr nette Vermieterin, super Ausstattung inkl.

Nichts auszusetzen!

Cleanliness. Great hospitality

None

Great location. Rooms very good. .

Perfect facilities, everything we needed, beautiful views and close to all the restaurants and shops

Nothing.

Cozy and spacious, this guesthouse is the perfect place for your escape in Clarens. Room is big, we'll decorated with an incredible view on the mountains and bed super comfy. Breakfast is delicious and served in the room. Communication with Stacey smooth and easy. Totally recommend!

Spacious, clean, excellent breakfasts.

I liked everything about the place. I received a warm welcome upon my arrival. I enjoyed the tranquility of the place🥰

The breakfast was delicious and different menus.

Unfortunately, there was no microwave in the booked room, requiring us to repeatedly ask the host to heat our meals.

Just everything. The room was fantastic, the breakfast was exceptional and beautifully prepared and presented in the room. The bed was warm, the shower had great water pressure and it was a huge shower. The views on the garden. Welcoming atmosphere, lovely people - Tracey and the staff I met. I would definitely recommend a visit and most certainly stay again. Really wonderful in all aspects.

I liked everything. It was a treat.

Everything. Well located, beautifully decorated, the host (Stacey) was awesome and very accommodating. Delicious breakfast was served daily.

The host was really friendly and explained everything in detail.

Fresh flowers and delicious breakfast brought to me in my room every morning on time. The fireplace in the lounge is an extra luxury while watching a movie or just relaxing after a full day. Thank you Stacey, for being such a great hostess.

Bedroom with two huge windows for sun to come in. Kingsize bed, heated bathroom, quality bath products, easu to use fireplace. Yummy breakfast is served in the room. Unit smells nice, clean and next day room service.

Consider a jacket holder with hooks to hangh up your jackets

Lovely accomodation and very good breakfast

Excellent breakfast and very well located. I will definitely be back.

Just off the Main Street, a quiet hideaway cottage with a small garden; yet close to all amenities in Clarens Check-in and out were conducted by the Greek sister of the owner and Σας ευχαριστώ for your friendly and professional contact.

All fine

The personal touch and attention to detail from the host.

Stacey is a fabulous host. She has thought of so much to make your visit an exceptional experience and is always available for suggestions. Very pleasant dealing with her. Facilities are among the best we have experienced.

Excellent service and attention to our requirements. Stacy went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. First class host!

Stacey was very welcoming and gave all information needed. Room was spacious and everything you need. Stylish and well thought out. Lived the port as night cap.

Not enough drinking water

It was spacious, and the shower was massive, and the bathtub. I enjoyed the complimentary warming drink, coming back next year with kids

Clean, comfortable, quiet and close to town

The breakfast was exceptional and within walking distance to the centre of Clarence.

Cant fault it.

Das Frühstück gibt es auf dem Zimmer. Es wird nicht serviert, es wird kredenzt🤗

Units are private and garden is peaceful and well kept

Location and the rooms are big. Breakfast was excellent.

Just needs an aircon if possible, but otherwise I really enjoyed Upper House

Frukosten var fantastisk.. Personalen mycket bra. Bra läge.

Good and filling breakfast

All good

Comfortable, convenient accommodation, excellent breakfast and hospitality, extended an extra night, would stay again.

Amazing breakfast and lovely stay!

Stacey was a magnificent host, very welcoming and organized. Loved the breakfast in my room, a unique touch. I would definitely come back

Super ontbijt variërend op hoog niveau. Vriendelijke gastvrouw 😀

Pictures don’t do the place any justice. It is incredibly beautiful, spacious and has EVERYTHING you might need.

Luxurious, convenient and comfortable. Loved the fire, sherry and bubble bath. Nothing was too much trouble for Stacy, she personally touched base with us daily. Breakfast was exotic and scrumptious.

Nothing

The location, within walking distance of the village and all restaurants, the tasteful and cozy furnishing of the room and the charming, helpful hostess Stacy.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Großes Zimmer mit Gartenblick. Wir hatten einen außen Sitzplatz. Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar. Autos konnten gesichert geparkt werden.

Perfect Location. Cleanliness. Very warm and homely. Safe. Awesome breakfast. Super comfy beds.

Zero!

Beautiful location surrounded by lush gardens and trees. Walking distance to restaurant and safe area!

Absolutely nothing

The breakfast was well prepared and delicious.

Cannot think of anything. Everything was perfect.

All was excellent. Listen to what we need and want when we arrived. Friendly staff and always willing to assist or accommodate

Geräumige Wohnungen. Phantastischer Service.

Heerlijke bedden.

Comfy, good food and close to the square!

Nothing

Having access to the garden. The room and bathroom were spacious. The location was really good, being close to the main street with its shops and restaurants. The room was clean, stylishly decorated and well fitted. Breakfast was tasty and served in the room. Lots of info was sent to us about the local restaurants and facilities.

Nothing.

The room was amazing, it had fire place and electric blanket

Nothing

Large comfortable room with all the facilities you require. The owner was very friendly and provided helpful information. The breakfast served in the room was exotic and professionally presented. It was not the usual stuff you get in a restaurant and it was different every day

WAUW!

The breakfast is amazing! The room is very cozy and comfortable. The location is great!

Nothing to say... :)

Upper house exceeded our expectations. We went for a lady's weekend and stayed in the 2-bedroom unit. It is spacious, with two beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was delicious and felt like such a treat to be served in your room. Beautiful views of the mountain from our room. We will definitely be back.

Nothing

The place was very clean and neat and was close to all amenities.

I was happy with everything but a suggestion would be to have a stove in the kitchen

My group and I enjoyed ourselves so much here. You deserve your stars, Stacey. Thanks a mil!!!

Nothing

La struttura é semplicemente meravigliosa! Super accogliente e pulita.

Nulla

Everything it promised to be and more. Location is excellent, love room and friendly staff. You would want to share this with someone special. I would even send someone here to bless them as I know they will be in very good hands.

Nothing to note here

Wonderful base to explore Clarens. Breakfast was very special, lovely presentation.
