We really enjoyed this romantic, beautiful building. The location really can't be beat. It's very relaxing, but so close to everything. You really feel like you are staying in the ancient city, in the Palatine Hill across from the Circus Maximus.

La struttura richiama Roma in ogni angolo , posizione perfetta sopratutto per i concerti al circo Massimo , avevo il palco praticamente attaccato al terrazzino ! Personale super gentile , jay super disponibile , simpatico, cordiale !! Unica pecca è che manca la colazione che avevo dato per scontato che ci fosse ma lasciano snack in camera e bevande che non si pagano ulteriormente !

The courtyard was beautiful! The staff was very helpful. Great place to stay because it was close to the Colosseum, 15 minute walk. Good restaurants just around the corner.

Shower in 202 was a little small but we were told that they are doing renovations as they are allowed.

Loved the location to the Colleseum. Little restaurants very close by. All staff were amazing and helpful.

The air conditioner was quite regulated so it was hard at times to cool off from being outside.

The property was an authentic Roman historicalsite & exactly what I wanted to experience while in Rome. Given it was across from the Circus Maximus, it felt as though I was emerged in ancient Roman times. I appreciate it was not located a little seperate from the main hub. Most special was being a 10 min walk from the Colosseum. The Monastero was a beautiful place with very comfortable & tasteful interiors. The staff were very kind ,friendly & welcoming. This was a wonderful experience overall.

Eneste som trakk bitte litt ned var at det ligger lott vekk fra sentrum så man må gå ein liten stund eller ta buss. Men det lå 4 restauranter rett med hotellet som gjorde det med mat veldig lett tilgjengelig 👌

Wunderbares historisches Gebäude mit Flair. Sehr sauber und hübsche. Der Innenhof ein Traum. Nettes Cafés um die Ecke und das Kolosseum und andere Ruinen aus Römischer Zeit drum herum.

Location and history

The room was more of a suite so very spacious in an unusual location of a monastery. The staff were excellent and helpful when needed. The location was close to many sights but without being too touristy, being on the fringe suited us.

Vriendelijk personeel, fantastische ligging en erg leuk hotel. Het is even een stukje lopen voor de meeste bushaltes, maar je komt in principe zo overal in Rome. Extra groot pluspunt voor de leuke cafés en restaurants direct naast het hotel. Bijna elke dag daar ontbeten of ‘s avonds nog een drankje gedaan.

位置离斗兽场和古罗马广场很近，步行距离内都有地铁站和公交车站。价格合理，我们升级了总统套房，价格的确不贵，房间有75平米，大大舒展了活动空间。我必须赞扬一下前台工作人员，态度积极，微笑服务，进出门我们都有问好，相处和沟通都很顺畅，英语流利。

房间设施有些旧。还有最重要的一个问题，总统套房里用了很多中式风格的家具，还有两张清朝人像，如果是中国住客的话，胆子小的还是会有点害怕的。房间很大，但布局不太合理，舒适度有待提升。

Le bâtiment qui abrite l'hôtel est très beau. La chambre était très propre.

La chambre était assez petite et sans aucune décoration pouvant la rendre personnelle. Un cocktail musical était organisé dans la cour de l'hôtel le soir où j'y ai séjourné. La réception de l'hôtel m'a indiqué que je ne pouvais pas m'en plaindre alors que j'avais été prévenu par mail. C'est exact, mais l'information m'a été donnée bien après ma réservation! Je ne pouvais plus annuler ni trouver une autre chambre dans Rome...

Hesitate to tell everyone how good this hotel is, I don’t want it to be fully booked when we come back! The bed was so comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful. Beautiful hotel in the heart of Ancient Rome, air con was amazing in euro summer, walking distance to metro and bus. Cute cafes and a bar on the corner.

I had husband with me who was happy to carry suitcases but just an fyi that there is no lift for anyone who would have difficulty going upstairs.

El hotel es muy bonito, su jardín-terraza es muy agradable, la habitación, aunque no muy grande, muy tranquila e iluminada con vista al jardín.

Está bien situado, pero como está frente al Circo Massimo, no había tiendas de conveniencia cercanas. La mayoría de las veces tuvimos que pedir taxis para poder acercarnos a otros barrios de la ciudad.

Surprising beautiful, clean and comfortable. We would gladly stay again! Great restaurants nearby, too, at well as fantastic ancient historic sites.

Amazing location and a gem of a place. Quiet, with a lovely courtyard to sit in. Perfectly positioned near the colosseum and we were able to walk to all of the major landmarks as well as walking to the Vatican City. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I booked this as a surprise for my husband’s birthday (he thought we were going to Inverness) and he loved the property and the weekend.

Sensationelle Lage, direkt am Zirkus! Sehr schönes Gebäude, man fühlt die Historie. Wichtig: Klimaanlage funktioniert hervorragend und ich konnte perfekt schlafen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr professionell und außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ich würde wiederkommen.

Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable and perfect for our stay. We were able to walk to everything and had some cafes right there that we went to for our breakfast and once for dinner that were very good.

Beautiful, historic site that you cannot pass on. Even though we were very close to a busy road and the circus Maximus, you couldn’t hear the noise at all. The food selection surrounding the hotel were far better than I expected and the history of the site is amazing if you even do a little research.

We loved our stay but it was a bit further than expected to walk to the heavy hitting locations

I had an excellent stay here. Everything exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfy, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated after a long day exploring the city. One thing that really stood out was the amazing water pressure in the shower. The location is fantastic—you can easily walk to most of Rome's main attractions, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome and would happily stay here again!

This is the perfect hotel for anybody visiting historic Rome! Incredible location adjoining the Palatine Hill (our room overlooked Augustus's Villa). Luxurious accommodation, beautifully appointed room with generous coffee, tea, bottled water, and daily refills of cookies and pastries- all for free. Mini fridge in closet, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom. Incredibly clean and wonderful staff who booked taxis on our behalf, etc. External terrace for guests overlooking the Circus Maximus. Stone's throw away is an excellent cafe for breakfast. Incredible value for money!

Siamo stati all’Il Monastero Collection in occasione di uno spettacolo al Circo Massimo ( Roberto Bolle ) e non potevamo chiedere di meglio. L’hotel è letteralmente di fronte all’ingresso: esci dalla porta e ti trovi già immerso nella storia, con il Circo Massimo che ti accoglie ogni mattina. Posizione imbattibile, silenziosa e centrale allo stesso tempo. Tutto raggiungibile comodamente a piedi (Colosseo, Foro Romano, Bocca della Verità) o con la metro a pochi minuti. La struttura, ricavata da un antico monastero, è incantevole: un’oasi di pace con un bellissimo cortile interno dove rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visite. Le camere sono curate nei dettagli, pulitissime, con letti comodissimi, asciugamani ciabattine e un’atmosfera elegante ma calda. Tutto parla di attenzione e gusto. Il personale è stato veramente eccezionale: gentilissimo, disponibile e sempre pronto a dare consigli utili. Ti fanno sentire a casa, con quella cortesia romana che conquista. Uno staff top che rende il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Nel complesso è stata un’esperienza bellissima in un hotel unico, romantico e super comodo. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a tutti, soprattutto a chi cerca un posto centrale ma tranquillo per godersi Roma senza stress. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff!

L’unico piccolo appunto (perché vogliamo essere sinceri) è la colazione: in camera trovano solo biscotti e qualche snack. Per un hotel di questo livello sarebbe bello avere una colazione vera o almeno un angolo colazione più completo. Sarebbe lo step in più per passare da ottimo a perfetto. Fortunatamente ci sono tanti bar e caffè carini proprio a due passi, quindi si risolve facilmente.

Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Easy to get to places from this hotel. Room was on the small side but the bed was comfortable none the less. Would recommend if visiting Rome.
