My colleague had bedbugs bites during his staying. We manage to get another room but we wondered cleanliness of the rooms

The location was great,

Breakfast is good,delicious

My second day is noisy at night at the lower room line to my room group of teenager are loughing wild i can hear at my room I'm was sleeping at that moment and the time is 10 pm-2 A.M. they are still noisy.

The staff was SUPER nice and accommodating. The two options for breakfast were ideal.

The dog friendly room was great and the fenced off area was very convenient for my Dog.

They provided breakfast except the last morning they didn’t tell the guests and the restaurant was closed! The room really needs upgrading. One chair arm was broken, bathtub had chips out of it, a huge fan for heat or ac was provided but took up a lot of space and was noisy. The rooms are dated and really need some work to bring them up to a higher standard. That being said, they were friendly and the room was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable. The place was quiet which was a bonus. And having a washer and dryer at no charge was also a huge bonus.

The full breakfast that was included was at a restaurant right beside on the property. Was a very nice touch. Would stay here again.

It’s an older Motel but friendly staff and clean rooms.

We ate at the hotel's restaurant. We were given 3 choices of breakfast food, which was very good. The rooms were old, the carpet was stained, but the geds were comfortable. When you register you are given breakfast vouchers. Make sure you get a voucher for each member of your group, otherwise, you may get into an argument with the servers at the restaurant.

All good, however our initial arrival met with disapointments, such as TV modem no workee/broken, some essential crockery missing, power supply within the unit was poor with frequent thermal cut-offs. Management did provide immediate fixes, however poor power supply remained

Upon check-in, the Front Desk was off she knew what she was doing her first time staying here was a good choice and we will stay again thank you very much

The towels were not clean, along with the bedding. The room I booked was not at all sound proof, had a hard time sleeping.

Everything was quite perfect, wonderful king bed has thick mostly cotton sheets and duvet, bathroom is clean, all expected toiletries, coffee station fully stocked, reasonable cable tv, useful table and chairs, surprisingly cool front office with extra amenities, such as library, fruit, coffee flavours, two wonderful front desk staff, and last but not least, the courtesy classic breakfast at the adjacent Chalet Restaurant was perfectly tasty. The restaurant was recently sold, so let's hope they retain the courtesy breakfast!

Some noisy neighbours and bar in back, but almost expected as this is a high volume inn/motel on a weekend stay.

Great place, has everything you need. Only thing I’d say is a downside is our provided breakfast didn’t open until 8am. It was in the restaurant that was VERY busy and very slow due to only having one employee trying to manage all the guests. Food was good though.

Location is great walking distance to everything in town and staff were friendly!

The rooms were old and smell the hot water and toilet didn't work there was a mouse and the water heater ended up leaking everywhere and then we switched rooms and the sheets were dirty on the bed and the handle for the shower came off and had the same smell.

The Bfast included was only issue. Restaurant was unreliable whether it was open or not. Advertisement stated open, but in reality closed. Very awkward in a small town like Kitimat

The staff is excellent, the room was immaculate, and what a bonus to have a place onsite to have food, which was really good! I am definitely going to stay here again, when I visit Kitimat! Six stars for me! Thank you to all the staff, for making my stay amazing!!!! Looking forward to booking with you again!!!!

The rooms are old and ours had an odor. Check in was great and a nice clean office that offers great info on Kitimat. The breakfast offered in the price was great.

Comfortable beds and pillows. Didn’t like that somebody was smoking cigarettes near the intake pipe of my air conditioning unit so that my room smelled like smoke. Turned the AC off and it stopped but then the room heated up quickly again. Would stay again.

Everything was great, I had my dog and he enjoyed his stay as well. But just a warning if you book on Expedia, if you are filtering for pet-friendly room, you have to adviise the Chalet in the notes. I thought I had booked a pet-friendly room bc Expedia said it was one of the amenities I filtered but it didn't apply to the room. It's confusing. Luckily the staff were helpful and able to accommodate my dog even though we had booked an incorrect room on Expedia.

This was my first time staying. Checking in was good. Lady with front desk was polite and helpful. When I whet to my room the hallway smelt like piss. Lower lever from the office. Room was clean but should be updated. Holes in the walls, water damage in the ceiling. Can’t change the channels on the TV. Everything was unplugged. Was not given an internet password, yes I could have asked but by the time I noticed the office was closed. I reserve two rooms. My coworker hand to change up her room. We were given vouchers for breakfast. Service was good but food was super salty. I won’t stay again

Was a nice stay..

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 3 small kids. We used the extra cot and had to move the beds to make room for it but it fit. The free breakfast was good 2/3 times and you had nice options to pick from. Despite being close to a busy bar I felt safe there and we didnt have any issues. They had free laundry which was very cool and also offered us daily passes to the rec center so we got to swim there for free and that was also really cool. Now for the bad. The stairs are so steep to get to the second floor. The curtains were so thin and the light outside the door was on all night. It was difficult to fall asleep because it was so bright in the room. The air conditioning was so big and bulky and stopped us from being able to open the window to get fresh air. The carpet was gross and smelly and caused our whole family to have major allergy troubles. The sink leaked all over the counter whenever we used the tap and the last night of our stay the toilet broke and wouldnt flush. Also after a few days staying you could see the black mold forming on the walls in the bathroom. The shower head was so low it was hard to shower comfortably. Not ideal for a family to stay but if youre just there for work or one person it would be a good fit. The sheets and towels were clean. So was the room. Free laundry was a plus and the front desk people were really good. Not a super comfortable stay but not the worst place weve stayed in.

The place is one the best in town. I love staying here when in Kitimat.
