the room was large and clean and well appointed. loved the electric blanket and very well priced good location

The outside lights shone into my room all night. i tried in vain to switch them off. Other guests very noisy at night. would have liked a small bar of soap or shower gel as i left mine at the last stay but my biggest problem was that there was no hot water. there was a geyser outside the room obviously for that room alone and i was in a double luxury suite yet when i wished to shower there was no hot water whatsoever.. . when i questioned staff they could not help me on either of the problems. Dinner was a mistake. i had the rump steak rare and chips because because you shouldnt be able to mess that up right? Well i dont know how that poor cow died! It was really a pity as I had been travelling for 10 hours and just wanted a nice supper and a nice glass of wine. when i told the waitress the steak was not good she just shrugged her shoulders. i know a lot of businesses have had problems with staff due to xenophobia so just hoping that this was the case here

The Booking.com booking process was the best part of this experience.

The DSTV was not functioning at all which was extremely annoying since it is the Football World Cup! The wi-fi also didn't work although the receptionist made a plan to connect us to another wi-fi. There were no electric blankets and I was sure that I had read that they have electric blankets especially given the extreme cold. The shower head is poor. The cottage is outside of the gated B&B which should be disclosed so that one knows this before booking it - we were uncomfortable being in a cottage that was right "on the street" so too speak which also became extremely noisy in the morning with not only car noise but also people talking loudly in the road outside.

Our room was very well appointed with sufficient crockery to make a meal, lovely, good quality bedding and towels as well as ample space. The king size bed was really comfortable too. DSTV has plenty of channels and the wifi worked well. We were close enough to the main road to find the accommodation easily, but far enough away not to hear the noise of trucks. We had camping equipment on our roof rack but were happy that it was safe as there is an electric fence around the property. We will definitely stay here again!

Wij boekten een ruim "appartement" met 3 kamers, daar was alles in orde, netjes en proper, maar niet meer dan dat.

De receptie, zwembad en alle andere kamers liggen in 1 beschermd domein waar je ook je auto kan parkeren. Voor onze woning dienden we de poort door te gaan de straat over te steken en tussen de privé huizen (rijhuizen) stond dan het onze. Voelde erg afgelegen wat afdeed aan de fijne kamers zelf, moesten met onze zwemspullen de straat over gaan. Avondmaal is zeker aan te raden, maar reserveren, ook voor het ontbijt (je specifieke maaltijdkeuze) laat weinig spontaniteit toe.

Das Personal beim Empfang ist nett, Gute Unterkunft an ruhig Lage mit schönen Zimmern. Kleiner Pool. Das Auto kann im Innenhof parkiert werden. Das Essen ist gut, wird jedoch nicht mit viel Aufmersamkeit von den Damen an der Rezeption serviert.

Es gibt keine Liegestühle am Pool.

The room was clean and the layout very good. Nice and peaceful atmosphere. The Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Secure parking on premises was perfect. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed my stay and will use 17 on Bird again in the future.

I received a phone call before arriving at the guest house to confirm my booking and booking in time which I found very considerate. They accommodated me when I asked for a different room. The staff were friendly. My room was neat and clean. I can with ease recommend booking with them.

Had all the amenities I needed for my one night stay with my family. It was the perfect half way stop. The rooms are so spacious and comfy. The bathroom was big and had plenty of space to enjoy a nice shower. The pool area has pool side towels so you don't need to carry your own . The accommodation was ideal and pleasantly lovely we were very impressed.

Quiet, lovely stay in Beaufort West. Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, secure parking and my goodness was the food delicious. We opted to have both dinner and breakfast, which you have to book in advance and we all had the Karoo lamb pie for dinner and it was incredibly delicious! A huge portion too and worth not having to search for food in Beaufort West. Breakfast was massive, we could skip lunch! Drinks by the pool was very relaxing and the pool was welcoming after a hot day. A great stay which we will definitely consider again. Reception staff were very welcoming. Just remember food is served at the exact time you ordered it. It arrives instantly. 😊

We didn’t get the bed sizes/rooms we ordered. The accommodation blames Booking.com but we need to try and ensure the customer gets what they ordered and paid for.

The good location is good, is about all I liked.

Despicable, pathetic after sales service by the management and staff of this establishment, once the upfront payment was taken, my family and I were completely at their mercy, which we unfortunately only found out after we checked-in. We did not receive the accomodation as was confirmed and which I paid quite a sum of money for but instead of remedies we was given apologies, instead of accountability they provided lists of excuses. My family deserved so much better than their 3rd rate treatment. Shame on them!!!
