An absolutely incredible experience! Our holiday at Kandima Maldives has unfortunately come to an end, but we are leaving with unforgettable memories. Everything was truly amazing: the paradise-like surroundings, the beautiful resort, the organization, and most importantly, the warm welcome. The food was excellent, varied, and generous. Every meal was a real pleasure, with plenty of choices and great quality. We genuinely enjoyed every dining experience. A huge thank you as well to the entire team. The staff were absolutely amazing, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They really made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. And a special dedication to Iman ❤️ She helped us so much with the different activities offered at the resort and was always available, kind, and full of great advice. Thank you so much, Iman, for your help and your wonderful attitude! We truly felt like we were living the best days of our lives. These are the kind of holidays you never forget and wish could last forever. A huge thank you to the entire Kandima team for making our stay so special. I was hoping to have more reef ti visit near by. The only one (around the wood platform) was reachable only by boat and not that special. Also there were no excursions (besides the normal sunset / dolphin cruise ).

Everything was amazing. The food, the villa, the service and the snorkling. I highly recommend this resort.

The restaurants were quite expensive. But very good. Booking the domestic flight+speedboat was challenging for me. More detailed info from the resort would have been nice. But in the end, the reception tried to help me.

Room cleaning leaves a little to be desired. There is no proper water park for children. Уборка номеров немного страдает. Нет полноценного аквапарка для детей.

The resort offers a good variety of facilities, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and weather during our stay. The beach villa was one of the highlights — comfortable, spacious, and offered a lovely tropical experience close to the beach.

The overall experience was good, but there were several areas that could be improved. The seaplane transfer is quite long and tiring, and the fixed flight timings offer very little flexibility based on guests’ preferred schedules. The food was quite repetitive and average in terms of quality and variety. The bath towels were noticeably old and worn out and should definitely be replaced. Although the beaches are beautiful, some areas have many rocks, which can make swimming and walking along the shoreline less comfortable. The children’s facilities were fairly basic and could benefit from better maintenance. In particular, the outdoor splash/water play area showed significant wear and was not consistently operational. During our four-night stay, it was only available twice and for approximately two hours each time. Overall, Kandima is a good resort with a wide range of facilities, but in my opinion, the experience was not particularly distinctive compared with what I would expect from a Maldives resort in this category.

I can’t see any advantage because what I’ve experienced

Unfortunately, my experience at Kandima Maldives did not meet my expectations, especially since we chose this resort for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we faced a payment issue between the resort and Booking.com, and we had to wait for nearly two hours before we were finally able to check into our room. What was even more frustrating was that the issue remained unresolved throughout our entire 5-day stay. From my perspective, there did not seem to be enough effort from the resort to resolve the matter directly with Booking.com, despite the fact that the payment had already been charged to my card. Another issue was the way prices and additional charges were presented. There were multiple taxes, service charges, and additional fees, which made the final bill confusing and difficult to follow. Before coming to Kandima, I stayed at Sun Siyam, where my experience regarding pricing was much clearer and I did not encounter the same confusion with additional charges. Another major disappointment was the honeymoon package. Considering that this was a special package specifically offered to honeymooners, I expected it to include unique experiences, activities, or special benefits. However, the only experience included was a dinner, and even that came with a very limited selection of dishes. What made this even more disappointing was that the regular restaurant menu available to guests offered a much wider variety of choices, while the honeymoon dinner menu was noticeably more restricted. In my opinion, a honeymoon package should make couples feel special and provide something extra, rather than offering fewer dining choices than those available with a normal restaurant reservation. We were also disappointed by the amount of insects and small reptiles, including inside and around the room. Unfortunately, the presence of insects also prevented us from properly enjoying the jacuzzi.

È il secondo anno che scelgo Kandima per le mie vacanze estive. Posto eccezionale, per non parlare dello staff. Menzione particolare va a Dillu della SPA (bravissima), Lia del Flavour (sempre cordiale e sorridente), Joshua che è l'addetto alle attività sportive (ci sono un sacco di corsi da seguire inclusi nella tariffa e lui è molto bravo e paziente) e Malika del front office che è sempre pronta a rispondere alle esigenze del cliente che al Kandima è sempre al primo posto

Our stay at Kandima was superb—everything was truly perfect! The island offers a wide variety of activities, parties, and entertainment, making it highly recommended for families. From the moment we landed, the check-in and check-out process was seamlessly handled. We took the domestic transfer, and Kandima's airport agents guided us smoothly from the international airport straight to the island with a warm, professional welcome. A special thanks to Eman at reception for guiding us and making our arrival so smooth. The island is huge and remarkably clean, with almost pure white sand, beautiful beach swings, and spotless pools that are very comfortable for family swimming. Through Aquaholics, we enjoyed many water sports like snorkeling and kayaking. The Play Space is fantastic, especially the escape room and VR games. A big thank you to Song and Nakshathra at Play Space for being so kind and helpful. The resort also organized family-friendly night parties, with outstanding coordination by Stef and Kira, where the kids felt fully included and involved. Additionally, we enjoyed daily shisha at Breeze Bar—the team there really knows how to prepare and serve a proper shisha. A major highlight for our family was the Fast & Furious electric go-kart track—it was smooth, fast, and an amazing experience since we were able to book a private race just for us. I want to thank the team, Bart and Michel, and give a special thanks to Medhat, who ran the track and captured some outstanding photos and videos for us! We also want to thank Lia at Flavour Restaurant—she was so kind and always greeted us with a warm welcome. If you ask me whether I would repeat this trip, my answer is a resounding yes—many times over!

A few minor suggestions for management: Bicycle Rentals: Linking the bike rentals directly to the room's magnetic key card would prevent people from taking or swapping bikes accidentally. Dining at Flavour: Adding more Arabic cuisine options to the buffet would be a great addition. Also, the beef steak was quite tough—it might benefit from a longer marinade before cooking.

Never again, waste of time and money, had to call three times for room cleaning, they wanted to charge 200$ extra without any explanation, we stayed in Aqua Villa and they charge us like we stayed in Sunset Villa, terrible experience, we do not recommend it at all because for this money they are much better options in Maldives.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The amenities here are top-notch and really make a difference. Plus, the location is just perfect for getting around and exploring. But honestly, it's the people that make this spot truly special. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it's a real joy to be here.

The resort was amazing and say that expectation specially the employees were so nice. I would come back 1000 times only because how nice the employees are they were soooo friendly and helpful with great smile always, also they have many facilities within the island including aqua activities, Play space , bars and restaurants, kids land and more , highly recommend for families with kids .

The golf car didn't reach to our water villa , it was exhausting to walk from our last villa all the way to the beach to get the bus specially at noon as it was so hot and harder for the kids to walk .

استقبال جميل وموظفون ودودون وأنشطة متنوعة ممتعة للعائلة ، ولكن نوع الفيلا التي حجزناها لانها فيلا على البحر وبها مسبح خاص يعيبها موقعها بعييييييده جداً عن باقي الفلل الاخرى لانها في اخر الممر الخشبي فكان المشي لها متعب ، كذلك المكيف لم يكون بالجوده المطلوبه والطقس فالخارج كان افضل رغم حرارته ، ورغم محاولة تصليحه اكثر من مره من قبل إدارة الفندق الا انه حار لذلك غيرنا نوع الفيلا على فيلا شاطئية بمسبح خاص واستمتعنا كثيراً بها

الاكل في البوفيه المجاني ليس جيد وكثير مايستخدمون الدهن بكثرة في الاطباق وهو مضر بالصحة ، اما المطاعم الاخرى كانت رائعة ومتنوعة ولذيذة ، أيضاً لم يعحبني طلب الفطور في الغرفة فقد طلبنا اكل منوع بهدف التصوير أولاً وثم الاكل ثانياً ولكن للاسف كانت الاطباق التي احضر بها الطعام من ورق فلم يعجبني ذلك ولم استسيغ الاكل منها ايضاً .. ارجو من الفندق الاهتمام بجعل الاطباق في صحون بورسلان كما هي بالبوفيه وباقي المطاعم على الجزيرة افضل

The property is too good. Great location, good facilities , loads of activities to keep you busy. Too many places to take good pictures. The villas are exceptional.

What I think is that the resort is short staffed. We had a very bad experience during our check out. The lady at the reception named Dhbya was very rude and arrogant. Whatever good reviews and experiences we had about the resort was vanished because of her behavior and attitude. I request the resort management to remove her from main reception and put her in back office because she is spoiling the name of the resort. She doesn’t have any idea about the bills and simply argues with the guest.

Das Meer war der dreckig (Algen oder so, kein Müll), Abendprogramm, wurde vom Personal betrogen bei einer Tombola, Zimmerwunsch wurde nicht erfüllt, WLAN war sehr schlecht.

V prvom rade veľká vďaka LOKENDRA KUMAR za manažment zmeny termínu (nakoľko sme pôvodný termín kvôli vojne v Iráne museli meniť) a zorganizovanie transferu. Ďalej CHRISTINE za zorganizovanie večere k nášmu výročiu svadby, KALU za dokonalý housekeeping, GIHAN z BREEZE baru spolu s jeho kolegami, ktorý sa starali o náš pitný režim :). Veľká vďaka patrí celému personálu na ostrove. Ubytovanie: - mali sme ubytovanie v Premium Beach Room (izba č. 103). - prístup k pláži bol dokonalý, vyhľaď na západ slnka rovnako. Strava: - raňajky boli výborné - všetky 3 reštaurácie (AZURE, SEA DRAGON a SMOKED) ponúkali skvelé jedlá. Pláže boli najlepšie v lokalite medzi BREEZE barom a BEACH CLUBOM kde sa nachádzajú BEACH STUDIA. My sme mali ubytovanie s raňajkami, ale v každom prípade odporúčam All inclusive. Rovnako odporúčam stiahnúť si ich aplikáciu, kde si pohodlne môžete urobiť rezervácie na večeru a všetky aktivity ktoré ponúkajú. Z aktivít odporúčam určite plavbu za delfínmi, ktorá vyšla dokonale a bolo úžasné sledovať tieto živočíchy vo voľnej prírode. Rovnako odporúčam aj potápanie s korytnačkami. Strávili sme na ostrove 9 nádherných dní, na ktoré budeme spomínať len v tom najlepšom.

Este sitio es increible. Bastante top para mi. La recepcion, la atención, la logistica. Te ayudan bastante en todo. Las instalaciones y la organización. Mi esposa y yo la pasamos increible y quedamos muy satisfechos, con ganas de Volver. La water-Villa es una experiencia para vivir!! 2 bufettes, 3 restaurantes (el asiatico increible). Es que podria describir todo lo que me gusto y tendria que describir todo el sitio. Muy contento, la gente muy amable en general. Yo a este sitio le doy un 10 y repetiria sin dudarlo.

Uno de los puntos que no me encanto y quizas mejoraria son los cocteles alcoholicos. Bastante promedio-tirando a regular, considerando el nivel de este sitio y lo que se paga por el todo incluido. Aqui pienso que deberian trabajar en mejorarlos. Por lo demas, creo que cumple con las expectativas!

Absolutely amazing! Just as great as I expected and even better. Lots of things to do, super helpful staff, really great food, nice facilities, everything is maintained neat and clean. Kids loved it as well, lots of activities at the kid's club, the pools were warm and nice. Loved the swing on the terrace.

Perhaps charging for laundry per piece rather than per load seemed unreasonable, but that's about as many complaints as I can come up with.

We had an amazing stay at Kandima and would happily return. We stayed in a Sunrise Pool Villa, which was the perfect choice - very spacious, private, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The staff were fantastic throughout the resort - always friendly, helpful, and professional. If you’re planning to dive, I highly recommend Kevin at the dive centre - very experienced, calm, and clearly knows his stuff. There is so much to do on the island, which makes it great for families. The go-kart track is brilliant and run by a very professional team. The spa experience was also excellent. It’s a larger island, so you can easily stay for a week (or longer) and still have plenty to enjoy. The dolphin and turtle boat trips were fantastic, with sightings of plenty of marine life. Overall, a really great experience - we’ll definitely be back.

The only minor issue was around internal communication between teams for a birthday dinner organised by my husband. Specific dietary requirements (including serious shellfish allergies) weren’t fully passed on so we were still presented with the full menu, and there was some mix-up with table setup and printed menus that had someone else's names not ours. Not a dealbreaker, but something that could be improved.

Our stay at Kandima Island in the Maldives was truly enjoyable. The resort offers a wide range of activities, and the overall atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the diving centre team, who were exceptionally helpful and made the whole experience even more memorable.

If there were any small areas for improvement, it would be the buffet selection, which could offer a little more variety, and some of the furniture could be refreshed. Aside from that, everything else was excellent.

Les paysages, une partie du personnel, le nombre d’activités malgré les prix exorbitant et/ou flou

Manque de côté humain, nous sommes vu comme des numéros de chambre qui peuvent apporter de l’argent. On nous propose un pique-nique pour 42 dollars par personnes en nous déposant sur une île (à 2min en barque). Pour au final le jour du départ, oublier cette activité, de bonnes foi on leur rappel et à notre grand étonnement, il mettent 2 lignes à 250 dollars. Finalement ils en ont retiré une car c’est par couple. Mais ils veulent rien savoir et sont « désolé pour ce quiproquo ». Malheureusement, les excuses ne vont pas rembourser la différence de plus de 150 dollars que j’ai dû débourser pour 2min de barque, 4 tomates cerises avec du pesto/fromage, 1 bouteille de jus d’orange. En sachant qu’ils nous ont également mis des bouteilles en verre mais sans décapsuleur au milieu d’une île déserte…. Et également qu’on avait initialement réservé pour mercredi, le lendemain ça a été annulé car un groupe de chinois est venu entre temps sur l’île et ont voulu faire une activité en même temps que nous. Étant plus que nous et déboursant donc plus que nous, ça a annulé notre activité sans notre consentement et en nous disant « vous pouvez faire un autre jours ». Le minimum aurait de nous consulter avant en mettant l’autre groupe en attente. Mais comme je l’ai dis plus haut, l’argent est le plus important pour eux la bas. Problème avec le buffet, de qualité mais beaucoup de gaspillage. Je les vois jeter à la poubelle en fin de service. Également très étonné de voir du porc au buffet et certains utilise la meme pince pour se servir du porc et ensuite des aliments à proximité. Donc pour ceux qui ne mangent pas de porc ou de viande, il y a ce problème qui fait qu’on a éviter de manger plein de chose. Je conseille fortement les Maldives mais pas du tout ce resort.

Nicht so viel. Wir hatten sehr viele Probleme mit der Klimaanlage. Es hat sehr lange gedauert, bis uns geholfen wurde. Es war sehr alt, wir mussten auf alles hinweisen und es war alles andere als sauber.

Immer wieder haben wir nach Seife gefragt nach Bettdecken Bettlaken Handtücher. Es wurde überhaupt nicht darauf geachtet, dass es täglich frisch gemacht wurde und wenn wir nachgefragt haben, war das Personal sehr unfreundlich. Das Zimmer selber war in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Wir haben sehr wenig geschlafen da die Klimaanlage entweder gar nicht oder permanent gelaufen ist.

Fantasztikus Sunset beach room medencével, nyitott fürdőszobával jakuzzival. A sziget gyönyörű, jól szervezett minden.

More of a real estate development than a hotel. Hoteliers try to sell you an experience - developers just sell you photos and that’s what this is - a resort that has no beating heart and no soul. Nothing like other Maldivian resorts we’ve been to. Water villas were the most crammed we’ve ever been in and come with open sides that offer no privacy whatsoever. The island probably sustained a lot of damage during construction as there are no fish in the sea - marine life is always a highlight of Maldivian resorts, sadly not this one. Food was very average and repetitive. THIS IS NO EXCLUSIVE RESORT and if you’re a couple like us then avoid it as the place is teeming with families with young kids. Overall it’s terrible value for money - for the same money or less I can think of at least half a dozen Maldivian resorts that are far more beautiful, more exclusive and have much higher standards of service.
