Room was nice

Staff seemed bored ahout checking me in and was never asked about/offered breakfast on checking in...

It was clean and quiet

Needs a lot of money spent on upgrading the facilities. Everywhere needs upgrading.

Accoglienza frettolosa. Non avevamo nemmeno capito se la colazione era inclusa o meno (su booking era inclusa ma lì ci è stato detto di no) quindi ci siamo limitati a dormire e scappare via al mattino....

Good location. Rooms had been nicely re decorated and friendly staff. Easy check in and check out. Secure offroad car park

Didn't have breakfast as it was too early for us The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and we slept well in the bed. Nice views from our window. Would use this hotel again if we are back in the area.

Check in at 4.30 is late compared to industry standard of 3pm. My auto email stated 4pm, warning if you arrive before 4.30 expect the place to be locked up with no lights on!

Very spacious room. Large comfortable bed. Secure on-site parking. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Inexpensive, meaning overall it's good value.

Small shower, particularly given the size of the room. No real food facilities. Pub is friendly but more of a man's drinking pub vs one you'd take your wife to.

Clean and comfy, cheap and cheerful hotel that exceeded my expectations. Staff made me feel very welcome, even in the bar! Great value for the money paid. Co op literally across the road and other convenience stores nearby. Also free secure parking

The windows are a bit stiff and hard to close.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Good value for money. Liked the fact that hot chocolate was included with the tea and coffee making facilities as well! Free parking too.

Helpful staff that stored my bicycle safely inside. The room had all of the basics and was comfortable. There is a small supermarket across the road.

Very well presented room, good sized shower room (albeit with a doll sized washbasin!). Nicely decorated (looked very fresh) and big bright windows. Huge TV if that's needed. Excellent location the best coast and good value for money overall.

The room is quite noisy, being on the main road (seemed busy than where I used to stay in Edinburgh!) and above the pub. The noise of the music there being played seeps through to the room. On the Friday I stayed this went on to 1.30am in the morning.

The breakfast was really good and I appreciated the private parking.

Departure time was good not to early. Staff friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay here! Wished it was for longer! The staff were fantastic! Sammy (we think was her name) was fantastic- over and above for anything we asked! Bed was comfy! Large windows to view outside. Desk and chair were appreciated. Everything was clean and tidy. Can tell someone has put in work to make this a lovely room to stay in. The pub atmosphere at night was great. The locals VERY welcoming. Huge range of drinks to choose from! Great time. Can’t wait to come back. Stones throw from the beach also!

I needed a room at next to zero notice. The room was comfortable, clean, airy and had been recently refurbished. Bath just fine. Friendly staff.

Great mid-budget hotel. Spotless room and bathroom. Pretty quiet considering it's above a pub (very nice friendly pub too..). A bit out of the town centre but an easy 15 minute walk. My second stay here and would happily book again.

The shower had two steps up to get into it, narrow and steep. No grab rails. I couldn't use it, as the thought of getting out and back down when wet didn't bear thinking about .

Fantastic staff as always. Breakfast was superb with options of picking and choosing what we wanted to eat. The breakfast was always hot along with the mug of coffee.

La grande gentillesse de l'accueil. Le parking privatif. L'extrême propreté des lieux et le côté un peu ancien de l'établissement qui lui donne un caractère particulier très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. L'hôtel est situé à 10 minutes à pied de la plage et à deux pas d'un petit supermarché bio.

Staff very helpful. Allowed us an early check in so we could get ready for the wedding we were attending. Nice and clean room. Slept brilliantly. Will book again.

Constantly dripping tap in the bathroom and I wasn’t able to have a shower as the folding door was so stiff I couldn't manage to open it. Also the outside door to the hotel was extremely difficult to unlock - took me about 5 minutes!

Rooms were very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Secure parking was very convenient. Well placed for supermarket, chip shop and pub. Hotel bar was lively and friendly.

Rooms over the bar area are noisy during opening hours (staff were happy to find me a quiet room on request as there were few (no?) other guests). Internet connection was better on the landings than in the rooms (but was adequate).

We didn't like that we weren't told prior to our visit they had stopped doing food and breakfast. Had we known this, we wouldn't have stayed.

The room very, very, small. The water in the shower is not really hot. The remote for the TV not working.

Only one night stay but we'd return. This room was amazing, so clean just right, very comfortable bed! This cost less money than one the one we stayed at in Arbroath, yes was so much better! So glad we found it. 5 minutes walk from train station which is perfect too

Traditionelles, kleineres Hotel. Gute Küche und Pub direkt im gleichen Gebäude. Trotz Musik im Pub, war kaum Lärm in den Zimmern darüber zu hören. Freundliches Personal und unkomplizierte Abwicklung.

Hotel liegt an der Straße, die man in den Zimmern hört.

Location was great and the food we had on two of the nights was well cooked, tasty and plenty of it. The steak pie was particularly great value for money. Staff were great and the banter was grand. For the price it was a great base for the golf

Rooms were a little tired, especially the bathroom but with a little bit of work this could be really improved upon.
