One month in paradise — Sugar and Spice Inn in Phuket exceeded all expectations! Spending an entire month at one hotel and never once regretting the choice means a lot. Sugar and Spice Inn truly became my home away from home during my holiday in Phuket. The atmosphere here is incredible: very cozy, stylish, and welcoming.The location of the hotel is excellent: just a 7-minute leisurely walk and you are on the wonderful Kata Beach. This daily walk was an absolute pleasure!Special praise goes to the hotel’s restaurant. The food here is amazingly delicious, very reasonably priced, and, most importantly, every dish is made with heart. In a whole month, I never got tired of the menu, and having lunch and dinner in such an atmosphere was a pure delight!The staff deserves a separate note of gratitude — these people genuinely care about every guest, making you feel truly welcome. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the ambiance in the hotel itself is perfect for complete relaxation. It was always quiet at night, so a great and peaceful sleep is guaranteed.The month flew by like a single day, and leaving brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for this unforgettable holiday! See you next year!

The hotel doesn't have its own green grounds (it's just a standalone building), but with such close proximity to the beach and a great restaurant inside, it wasn't an issue at all. My only suggestion for the future would be introducing a small discount at the restaurant for the hotel guests.

CP值高，員工非常親切，直接到餐廳check in就好。位置鄰近Kata 夜市，有販售吃的和衣服，周圍按摩店也選擇很多。房間裡是黃光，偏暗。

沒有電梯，入住時員工會幫忙抬行李，不過離開時可能就要自己處理。入口就在餐廳旁邊的小巷子，晚上光線比較昏暗，其中一階樓梯特別高，上下樓特別注意。

Excellent value! Very well located in the middle of Kata area right next to the night market yet quiet. I was greeted like in a 5* hotel with a welcome drink. Easy communication. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was working fine.

Плохо убирают, всегда был песок на полу, босиком не получится ходить, протирают пол, если попросить, а так при уборке нет, слышимость проезжающих мотоциклов и транспортов, сложно будет уснуть

Per il prezzo, alloggio ottimo. Camere molto spaziose e fornite di tutto quello che serve, inclusa aria condizionata, borsa da spiaggia e acqua fresca, pulizia accettabile. Posizione buona, se si chiude un occhio sull'ingresso un po'...ambiguo. Una buona soluzione in fin dei conti.

La strada vicino è molto rumorosa, le porte isolano un po' ma per chi è sensibile potrebbe non essere abbastanza. Ingresso non molto curato e scale abbastanza ripide ma lo staff è disponibile a portare su le valigie più pesanti.

Amazing location, surrounded by all kinds of shops and in front of the Night Market. 15 min walking to the beach. Kind staff (well, we are talking about Thailand <3). The room was clean, with comfy bed and pillows, some very appreciated amenities, like shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, water, coffee. The restaurant downstairs is an amazing addition! Delicious food!

- Not a problem in itself, but for those with mobility issues, be aware that the guest house has steep stairs! - Low shower pressure. - A full body mirror would be much appreciated.

Недалеко от пляжа. В номере есть пляжная сумка с циновкой и полотенцами. Несмотря на то, что находится в довольно оживлённо районе и на то, что под окнами стройка, шумно почти не было. На первом этаже ресторан с довольно вкусной едой. Каждый день давали бесплатную воду и кофе.

Стеклянные двери. На персональном балконе находится внешний блок кондиционера, из-за этого там постоянно жарко, как в печке.

Great accommodation, large room and exceptionally clean. Amazing location right next to kata night market and 5 min walk to the beach. The restaurant downstairs is also incredible, lovely staff and great food (probably the best we have had) would definitely come back!

It could be cleaner. Bedsheets looked like used and the bathroom needed a more thorough clean. The toilet was dirty.

It’s a bit loud in the evenings with tuktuks and music but if you bring good airplugs you should be fine

The location indeed is very convenient, 10 min away from the beach, and right in front of the Night Market, close to everything you might need. When navigating, it always shows restaurant as location, so not many drivers aware of the Inn hotel above (just a small remark); rooms are on the second and third floors, each floor has four rooms. Room was big, with a small balcony facing the main road, where can dry clothes, shower and bathroom were clean. Had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner with nice smell. Every day they provide four bottles of water in the fridge. Tea, coffee. There is electric kettle, cups and tea spoons. Hairdryer was not in a room, but on request they brought it immediately. It was lovely to have a beach mat in a cotton bag to take to the beach, beach towels. Sleepers. The bed was big and comfy. Can't say in the night it was too noisy, it was okay, sounds of passing tuk tuks were not disturbing. AC worked properly. Good value for the price.

There was only one key from the room, so if you travel with someone, to share the key - had to leave it on the reception. Other than that, everything was good.

insanlar çok yardımcıydı. Odaları temizleyen bayan çok güler yüzlü biriydi. Otel kata night markete çok yakın ve orası akşamları çok keyifli bir yer her gün orada takıldık. Ayrıca hem karon hem kata plajına yürüme mesafesi olması da çok güzeldi.

Otelin arkasında ana yol var bazı motorlar inanılmaz ses çıkartarak geçiyor. Geceleri korkarak uyandım ses konusunda çok rahatsız. Klimada biraz eski olduğu için ayarlamak zor oldu kaç yaparsak yapalım aşırı soğuk oldu.

Zatrzymałem się tutaj już drugi raz, głównie ze względu na bliskość do wszystkiego i w miarę przystępnej ceny. Pokoje lata świetności mają już za sobą jak i łazienki jednakże rekompensuje to dobry internet i bardzo wygodne łóżka oraz restauracja na dole. Blisko night market oraz masaże.

Budowa trwająca obok hotelu może być trochę uciążliwa zwłaszcza rano gdy chciałoby się trochę pospać.

Busy location close to Karon and Kata beach, restaurants, shops, it's right across the Kata walking street (night market). Above a restaurant with nice food. They provided beach towels, bathroom cosmetics etc., staff was friendly.

In a loud area and with a lousy door, you can hear noise all night long and you can smell the restaurant downstairs. Hanger for towels in the bathroom completely broken hanging out of the wall, holder for bathroom cosmetic products the same. They tried to overcharge us on one thing three different times and different staff kept reopening the topic - its not something you want to deal with on vacation especially after it has been already resolved before. Some lights were not working. We could also hear rats/other animals at night but didnt see any.

La sympathie du personnel

Nice location with access to key facilities, Kata night market across the street. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The cleaning lady visits everyday and brings drinking water, tea, coffee. Guests are provided with much stuff (for instance, we were delighted to see a special big bag with towels and other beach stuff already packed). There is a nice restaraunt on the ground floor. Rooms have may tables for laptop work, great for digital nomads. Wi-fi had no interruptions and good speed. Guests come from all over the world, which is contrasting to that russian-dominated Phuket part.

For some people, this location may be a little nosiy as it is beside the beach road (cars pass with loud music sometimes). But it is not critical and we slept well. The construction on the other side is ratrher quiet and that door is good noise-proof.

Хорошее расположение. Очень улыбчивый персонал. Но в перекрытие второго этажа живут крысы, читал отзыв идентичный, но отель ответил, что это птички. Это вовсе не птички, а прям конкретные здоровенные крысы, которые бегают по вашему потолку, так что люстры трясутся. За три ночи уснуть не удалось. Потому что все время ожидали, что свалится на голову проигравшая в бою крыса из пластикового лючка на потолке. Все три ночи крысиный писк, шуршание, звуки грызни. Надеюсь их смогут потравить в ближайшее время. Номер был на втором этаже. Внизу есть кафе, есть где поставить байк.

Хорошее расположение. Внизу ресторан, где можно поесть недорого. Номер просторный. Панорамное остекление, не видимое с одной стороны.

Вид на стройку или стену. Шумно. Но если нет мест на пхукете в сезон, отель норм.

L’emplacement central, la grandeur de la chambre et le lit était très confortable. Petit plus pour le sac de plage avec les serviettes, très pratique !

Приятное, колоритное место. Удобное расположение, рядом ночной рынок Ката и всё необходимое, до моря 10 минут. Отзывчивый и приветливый персонал. Просторный, чистый номер. Очень вкусно готовят в кафе.

Рядом стройка, но шума от неё не было. Ночью может быть слышен шум машин, т. к. рядом дорога.

Die Lage. Der Night Markt direkt vor der Tür. Man ist direkt im Geschehen. Strand ist etwas weiter weg, aber ok zum gehen. Die Reinigungskraft super nett und toll. Strandtasche mit Handtüchern und eine Standmatte. Wasserflaschen jeden Tag.

Leider war unser Zimmer nicht wirklich toll. Über uns ist ständig etwas hin und her gelaufen (vermutlich Zwischendecke) hat sich nach einem Tier angehört und wir hatten viele Geckos im Zimmer da sie leider überall durchkommen. Irgendwann waren sie dann verschwunden. Natürlich tun sie auch nichts, man fühlt sich trotzdem nicht wohl. In unserem Badezimmer hat es so extrem gestunken, kam auch eher vom Abfluss. Ausstattung auch nicht mehr das beste und neuste. Man darf sich einfach nicht viel erwarten. Beim Restaurant unten war bei uns das Essen ganz ok, jedoch kommt beim Preis die Mehrwertsteuer noch drauf.

There is no elevator, so it's up and down steep stairs. But it's only 3 floors

Location is fabulous,bed is comfy .Clean room got every thing i needed worth every penny .House keeping ladys & staff just fantastic .Only downside is front door (sliding glass ) and balcony door .Entrance door need to be fixed ,when strong wind door rattles alot .Balcony door is wood and has cracks every where and not closing properly. Delicious food downstairs. Thank you !

You get a large and clean room for a very reasonable price. Anyone expecting a 5-star resort at this price is going to be disappointed. The hotel's own restaurant is highly recommended; it serves fantastic Thai cuisine. You step out the door and you're right in the heart of the action. And I should also mention the very friendly cleaning lady who always greets you with a smile :)

Le personnel était adorable, l'emplacement nous étions proche de tout et de la plage. Le restaurant était excellent même s'il restait un peu cher pour la Thaïlande. Le lit était confortable la chambre était très grande et nous avons vraiment apprécié qu'il y est 4 bouteilles d'eau par jour et des équipements pour la plage. Nous recommandons cet hôtel :)

L'insonorisation malheureusement nous entendions tout.

Месторасположение одно из лучших на Кате , все рядом , магазины , ночной рынок ! В номере есть все необходимое , халат , тапочки , пляжные полотенце , сушилка для белья . На первом этаже отличный ресторан. Очень просторный номер! Хорошая горничная , всегда приходила после того как я покину номер. В целом рекомендую !

Во дворе идет стройка соседнего отеля, поэтому утром достаточно шумно

Mooi hotelletje (inn - restaurant met hotelkamers erboven, aparte ingang) recht tegenover de Kata Beach Walking Street Night Market, op de hoek van Patak Road en Kata Road. Vakantiegangers lopen hierlangs op weg naar het strand (Kata Beach op 5 minuten loopafstand, Karon beach 10 minuten). Tal van winkeltjes, kraampjes, eetgelegenheden en street food binnen een paar honderd meter. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, gastvrij, en behulpzaam, en dit droeg echt bij aan de Thailand-ervaring. Top! All-day breakfast beschikbaar in het restaurant, zowel Westers als Thai. Ook als restaurant fijn om te eten. Grote kamer (7x4m) aan galerij, met groot bed, bureau, salontafeltje met twee fauteuils, kledingkast, kluisje, airco, koelkast. Flesjes water werden dagelijks gratis bijgevuld in de koelkast. De schoonmaakster woont volgens mij in een kamertje aan het trappenhuis: ze had het altijd door wanneer ik de kamer uit was voor ontbijt, en als ik terug was was de kamer netjes opgemaakt. Complimenten!

Je zit in een luid deel van Phuket, aan een kruising tussen twee drukke wegen. Het is vanaf middernacht wat rustiger, en tussen 2:00 en 8:00 het rustigst. Het gebouw is wat ouder (daarom heb je zo'n grote kamer), en dat betekent dat de geluidsisolatie ook niet al te best is. Je hoort dus continu straatgeluiden (scooters, luide motoren en tuktuks met boomboxes). De eigenaar gaf aan volgend jaar de schuifdeuren te willen vervangen voor betere geluidsisolatie.

The room was amazing, we were so shocked when we walked in. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and had great water pressure in the shower. The location was really good, we had the market right across the road which was perfect to have some dinner there every night. It is walking distance to the beach and has good food places nearby.

Adossé au restaurant des chambres simples mais confortables. Un lieu et des personnes authentiques. A 5 min à pied de Kata beach et proche de Karon. Un night market a proximité pour se distraire le soir. Un quartier touristique agréable.

The location is great, 5 min walking to Kata beach. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. My room was cleaned every day during my stay. They provide beach towels as well. There are plenty of cafes around and a night street market.

Excellen location. in front of the market, 10 min walk to the beach. Lovely staff. An amazing restaurant. The staff in the restaurant manage the rooms so we felt very comfortable going downstairs to eat at any time. The staff knew what we liked and treated our family with care and kindness.

I stayed a month in Sugar and spice inn. It was all I hoped for when booking. Nice big rooms, comfortable beds, newly renovated bathrooms. Situated close to all conveniences, the restaurant below is always busy, the food good and the staff friendly. 8 min walk to beach

The room was spacious. Loved the fact that there were beach towels, slippers and gowns.

It was very noisy due to the proximity to the night market.

Chambre propre, très bien située vers le night Market où l'on peut se restaurer. Serviettes de plage, bouilloire avec thé, café, chaussons, peignoir, shampooing, après shampooing, coton démaquillant et coton tige à disposition. Un coffre fort et un frigo avec 2 bouteilles d'eau par jour sont dans la chambre.

The Sugar and Spice Inn is a perfect selection for a stay at Kata Beach. I stayed here for 1 month during my Bartender Course at the EBS. The staff is very friendly and helpful, when I arrived they carried my luggage up the stairs to my room. You get everyday cleaning, bottles of water every day and if you need anything they're here for you. There was a small balcony and a terrace in front of the entry door with places to sit. The room was quite big, very quiet and with a big and very comfortable bed. You stay directly above the Sugar and Spice Restaurant which serves a really really good food! As well as the partner restaurants Sugar Shack & Sugar Spice. The location is great, directly in opposite of the Kata Night Market & Walking Street and only around 8-10 minutes walking distance to the Kata Beach.

The shower in the bathroom is completely open without a separation from the rest, even no curtain, so when you take a shower there's water everywhere. It dries fast but in the first moment it's pretty slippery. But this seems to be common in Thailand, I also know this from Greece.

There is a safe. 4 water bottles are provided in the mini fridge daily. Multiple towels, bath robe, slippers, and a beach matt are provided. AirCon works well. The restaurant downstairs has a great menu and the food is great.

Only problem I had is that the bathroom light went out.
