It was really comfortable and clean. The bathroom was beautiful and the location was fantastic. It was right on the beach, we just walked down, hired equipment and snorkeled off the beach. The fish were amazing, we saw turtles. Everyone was kind and helpful.

Beautiful big bright rooms. With lots of storage options. They give you water refill in the room. Right on the beach where you can snorkel. Staff were helpful and lovely. Food was yummy. One of the best places I have stayed.

Perfect location. Cannot complain at all. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Big shout out to Adi, Deepa, Mala and Lu. They serve you good breakfast in the morning and will help you with almost everything. The only property near the beach which is very affordable and clean and beautiful. Just a mins walk away from the beach. The pool is clean and regular maintenance and cleanliness is maintained around the property. You don't have to walk down or climb up some hill or pathway to get to the property, it's road touch and that's what's perfect about the location. My 4 nights were perfect at the hotel. Only issue I faced was, the rooms are very big and the air conditioner is very small to cool the entire room. But, otherwise it's perfect 10/10

Whilst location is good you are a bit isolated too, was expensive to get transport to the main Amed area.

Location was great for Lipah and right on beach. Nice pool. Staff were all so lovely. Facilities and room were all ok but a little maintenance to freshen up would bring it up nicely. We enjoyed our short stay and would recommend it. A few warungs nearby and restaurant on site. Breakfast was delicious.

The room was dull and even though it has a TV it doesn’t actually work. Aircon struggled a bit.Mozzie central but staff provided a spray can.

The room was very worn down with cracks in the walls. Hardly any water pressure in the bathroom. The window in my room could not be closed and due to the language barrier, I do not speak Indonesian and the staff don’t understand English, it was a bit difficult to explain what the problem was. Also, very limited breakfast.

The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The beachfront location is beautiful, and there are many lovely warungs nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superb and the pool is clean and refreshing with sufficient loungers.

There is nothing not to like but improvements could be made easily eg some of the lounger cushions could do with being replaced. Rubbish could be managed better and kept where the dogs don’t scavenge, the grounds looked a little unkempt compared to some places. All of these are minor things and certainly didn’t detract from our enjoyment.

Everything - that it was right on the beach, had a great pool & fantastic little restaurant. Adi & his team were very friendly & helpful.

An Amazing Stay at Bintang Villas Amed We had the most wonderful stay at Bintang Villas Amed and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome and looked after. A very special mention has to go to Adi, the manager, who went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. Adi also took care of our transport and made everything so easy, relaxed and stress-free. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his kindness and genuine hospitality really added something special to our holiday.

The villa, pool and dining areas are perhaps a little tired in places and could benefit from a freshen-up. That said, this certainly didn’t detract from our stay, and considering the price, we felt Bintang Villas offered excellent value for money. The wonderful staff, service and hospitality more than made up for the areas that could use a little TLC, and we would happily stay again.

Walking distance to the beach, nice a quiet! Location was in a good area but will need to rent motorcycle to get around--Pool was overlooking the beach. Breakfast was great but should have more to pick from on menu.

Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Schön zum schnorcheln, es hat ein Hausriff mit Schildkröten. Die Anlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte mal renoviert werden. Es ist aber sauber. Es hat viele kleine Warungs mit leckerem Essen. Das Personal in der Anlage ist sehr nett und Hilfsbereit.

Die verkalkte Dusche. Wir haben sie selbst gereinigt, damit das Wasser wieder läuft.

Für uns war alles perfekt. Es ist eine kleine Anlage, welche direkt am Meer liegt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sicher gibt es noch Luft nach oben aber wir haben vorher schon gewusst, dass man nicht mit europäischem Standard rechnen kann. Es war sauber und das Frühstück absolut ausreichend, wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier absolut richtig. Fussläufig gibt es mehrere gute Warung in der Nähe, absolut erwähnenswert „Warung Sabar“! Der Strand war auch sehr schön und das absolute Highlight sind die Meeresschildkröten. , die man täglich beim Schnorcheln beobachten konnte. Danke Adi, du bist ein sehr hilfsbereiter, überaus freundlicher Mensch!

Location is magic

Great location right on the beach in its very quiet area without many boats. Nice refreshing pool, decent breakfast, good resto (we had lunch here couple of times). Rooms are spacious though a bit outdated but everything is functional and you have all you might need. Around there are plenty of great warungs, a couple of minimarkets, spas, diving centre almost next door. Live coral reef right in front of the hotel. This is our fave part of Amed. Will definitely come back.

Haven’t got the housekeeping for 2 days out of 5, not nice considering that the sand is everywhere around. The pool turned green and though the staff tried to resolve the issue with some chemicals it didn’t help. Probably the full water replacement and deep cleaning was needed.

The location is just perfect for those of us who love swimming and snorkelling. It is right on the beach, which is sandy, devoid of those pesky black rocks that can be on other nearby beaches. We swam and snorkelled from one end to the other, seeing lots of fish, healthy coral and on luckydays, turtles. The villa rooms, while older, are spacious, clean, with sitting areas, both indoors and outside, and well serviced. The pool area is lovely, with adequate seating and shade. We were bemused by the European habit of claiming a spot early in the morning and then not using it! Something we don't see so much in Australia. The breakfast is good, lots of fruit, juices and pancakes and eggs multiple ways. The staff are fantastic. Attentive, kind, happy and always willing to suggest, arrange any thing you could want. The street, while in a bit of disrepair, has so many lovely warungs, a couple of coffee shops, a good money changer, great spas and is really interesting to wander if the tide is full. We think Bintang offers fabulous value for money and we are looking forward to a return visit.

The sea and the beach were beautiful. For swimming and snorkelling and also fishing. The massage was nice.

The place is full of dogs that are disturbing to the guests that can be also dangerous especially for the kids. We love dogs but these were not even vaccinated. The manager is quite greedy and i wouldn’t go ahead and book any boat trip with them. Tv not working in the room Poor breakfast option Staff speaks poor english.

すぐにビーチに出られ、しかもシュノーケルするのに最高の場所にあります。1日に何度も行きました。亀を何度も見ることができ、魚やサンゴも本当に綺麗でした。人も多くなくて、とても静かに過ごせました。朝や夕方ビーチでのんびりすることもできました。 部屋は清潔で快適でした。値段もあまり高くないのが良かったです。 周りはそれほど賑やかなエリアじゃないですが、必要なものはあって困りませんでした。

掃除のあと床が濡れていてそれがちょっと嫌でした。

I have travelled to over 100 countries and stayed in countless hotels around the world, but unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had, especially in Bali. The property was absolutely not worth the price paid. The bathroom was in very poor condition, with visible mould throughout, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. The mosquito net around the bed was old, damaged, and had been poorly repaired with multiple stitches. It was clear that it had not been properly cleaned or replaced for a long time. The overall maintenance and attention to detail were far below what I would expect from a hotel at this price level. To make matters worse, one of the male staff members was extremely rude and disrespectful during my stay, which made the experience even more disappointing. Sadly, the service, cleanliness, and condition of the facilities did not meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend this hotel and feel there are much better options available in Bali for the same or lower price.

Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, mit bequemem Bett und guter Klimaanlage. Es gab einen geräumigen Kleiderschrank, was anscheinend auf Bali nicht selbstverständlich ist.Auch ein Wasserspender war vorhanden. Schöne, grosse Terrasse, allerdings ohne Privatsphäre. Sehr freundliches und stets hilfsbereiten Personal! Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Falls wir nochmal nach Amed reisen, würden wir eine zentralere Lage wählen. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen. Der Strand und das Meer waren an zwei Tagen extrem verschmutzt. Dafür konnte aber das Hotel nichts. Die Mitarbeiter haben den Unrat auch immer schnell weggeräumt.

I cannot recommend Bintang Beach Villa highly enough. The staff are all brilliant, very friendly and very helpful. The location was great with fantastic snorkelling a few steps from the swimming pool, and restaurants within easy walking distance.

I only booked 4 nights. I wish I had booked a week at least.

After 1,5 years we came to Bintang again, I guess it says it all. Last time my only complaint was about the mattresses, now they have new ones and they are wonderful. Breakfast, garden, beach, pool - all great again. Just too many boats with day trippers coming to Lipah to watch the turtles and it does not feel very safe.

Location, large comfortable room and helpful staff. It was on the quiet end of the beach directly in front of excellent snorkeling. There were several good restaurants in easy walking distance.

The worst hotel of our trip. The rooms were dated, musty, and we were greeted with dirty towels and stained linens. The hotel grounds are a cramped, narrow strip, and the beach in front was filthy, littered with trash and tangled fishing nets. While the staff smiles constantly, they are unhelpful as every request becomes a problem. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast; otherwise, a total disappointment.

Everything. The bungalows very clean and spacious, breakfast was great, and Adi and the team were fabulous. Amazing snorkelling only a few metres from the shore… swimming daily amongst hundreds of different reef fish and turtles was def a highlight of my stay.

The staff was friendly, and Adi was very helpful and quickly answered messages on WhatsApp. Him and all other staff were helpful. It was a good location for snorkeling; the beach in front of the hotel is as good as it gets in Bali. There are some shops and restaurants and spa close to villas.

Villas need deep reparations, and the internet is very bad. I think a maximum of three days is okay to stay there; after that, it can get a little hard and boring.
