Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, das war das Highlight. Sehr schöne Anlage, schöne Pools, super bequeme Matratze. Das Zimmer generell gut. Der Food im Restaurant ist der Hammer, super lecker und super gübstig! Ich hatte ein echtes Preis-Schnäppchen gebucht, dafür war es okay. Zum vollen Preis aber wäre es für mich nicht erfüllt gewesen.

Das Badezimmer war nicht wirklich sauber, vorallem die Dusche.

A very quiet and relaxing hotel with excellent service. The staff were humble, friendly, and very kind throughout our stay.

The hotel has huge facilities and plenty of space, although some areas are a little old and could benefit from refurbishment. the swimming pool was closed for maintenance during our stay, which was disappointing.

Staff were amazing and Yudha from the reception was excellent

There was a problem with drainage a little bit along the flower beds

Das Hotel ist super krass in die Jahre gekommen, das Essen war schlecht (Bali Belly), das Haus wackelt bei den Wellen so doll, dass man Angst hat, dass es einstürzt. Die Schäden am Dach machen keinen vertrauenswürdigen Eindruck, wir waren froh, als wir wieder weg waren. Vor 15 Jahren war es sicherlich mal eine schöne Anlage!

The hotel is dilapidated - so many parts of the buildings are worn down (including exposed ceilings, broken doors). The beachside pool is meant to be the main highlight of the hotel (and the reason why we picked it) but it was under maintenance and we weren’t advised in advance. We also reserved a room with a plunge pool but the water was filthy with bird and mice excrements

The place should be condemned, from empty fire extinguishers and rusted out fire sprinklers, dangerest flooring and decking and rails, the buildings are falling down, elevators not working. Dog shit around food and pool area that hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Food was cold, or not cooked properly.

Astheticaly the property requires considerable maintenance due to storm damage But rooms were spotless

The staff were amazing here really made the stay a great experience, the villa was spacious and beautiful with a nice view over a rice field and was lovely and quiet you could hear the waves crashing in the night time from anywhere on the property

The property is a bit tatty, parts have been exposed and lost its rendering, and a few rooms are out of service because of this, but if you look past the broken parts it’s a lovely place, it’s very isolated with nothing near by and the sign saying no grab or Gojek makes it hard to travel out of the hotel without using one of there drives so becomes a bit expensive

My stay had both positive and disappointing moments. At check-in, I had to wait for about one hour before my room was ready. Once I received it, the room itself was beautiful, comfortable, and looked just like the photos. Unfortunately, a problem with the bathroom tap affected my stay. The tap suddenly came off and water sprayed up to the ceiling like a fountain, which was quite frightening. I was very tired, so I did not report it to reception immediately and stayed in the room. Breakfast had already been paid for, but I was repeatedly asked to pay again. I had to insist that the staff contact reception and check the booking details. They later apologized, but this situation was frustrating. The service was not quite what I expected. I asked for some compensation and was offered reimbursement for a taxi, although it did not cover the full cost. Overall, I appreciated the nice room, but the delays, maintenance issue, and breakfast confusion made the experience somewhat disappointing.

Carring whyndam name, with big chains international hotel brand, its not real as the whyndam name as I have ever seen. If we notice : the building property, the stairs, need to do maintenance, look like old property, and being honest location is very good and beautiful, this is not budget hotel, they are big chains hotel ( midscale) and international brand. , but the buffee look like budget hotel. Hopefully for future need to be noticed.

A constant earthquake-like feeling in the buildings due to the impact of the waves. Also, there was an event of a local company celebrated in this hotel during my stay. It was pretty crowded and noisy, so ask in advance if anything like that is planned for your dates in case you want to avoid it.

The hotel was good, and the staff were very kind. However, it is far from Ubud, and there is not much to do outside the hotel. There are no activities nearby, so you mostly end up staying at the hotel, also at the hotel nothing to do no activities The price is a bit high compared to other hotels (€251 for 3 nights), especially since nothing was included—not even breakfast. The pool was under maintenance and closed during our stay. Although the hotel is located in front of the sea, there is not much you can do there. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.

It’s a very isolated location with a black, volcanic sand beach and ferocious waves! Not particularly clean although the staff are pleasant. Unfortunately very few of them speak English and they are somewhat sparse, so getting what you need is not straightforward. Breakfast passable, room service (à la carte) good. Budget for lots of taxi rides if you want to see anything. Pool in shade most of the day and not that clean. They don’t allow “Grab” cabs to pick you up from the premises - they say it’s to support local business - but when I discovered my airport taxi booked by the resort was four times what Grab would have charged, I smelled ulterior motive!

Was our 5th stay here, just because whenever we going to Gili we must stop by Wyndham for recovery Great spot waves and nature sounds amazing to our ears Breakfast quality dropped down from our last visit but the kitchen and main menu food remains the same good as first time 3 years back best place to try Sate Ayam i have special memories in this place so i have to visit whenever i come to Bali

Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut. Handtücher waren am Pool vorhanden.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Von 5 Sternen war hier leider nichts zu sehen. Das Zimmer war ok, aber die Dusche hatte Kalk und Wasserflecken. An den Vorhängen waren Stockflecken und im Zimmer war ein muffiger Geruch, wenn man die Klimaanlage nicht auf 20 Grad runtergekühlt hat.

We live nearby and have been to most of the hotels in the area and many more in Sanur and Nusa Dua. The location is spectacular. The ocean,the volcano views, Nusa Penida and the black sand beach. Quiet and calm and very relaxing. This is the biggest plus to visit this hotel. The grounds are really well maintained and lovely with the exception of the veggie garden near the restaurant. As a gardener I would like to see somebody pay attention to this space as your guests walk by it every day. From the interior of the room we were in you notice that the hotel was built properly and has excellent infrastructure and has stood the test of time. However,the exterior has flaws that are minor but makes what is a spectacular venue look old. Rocks that face the walls and gypsum ceilings are not expensive. I do recognise that running a huge complex and employing many local people is a challenge when the hotel is not near a major attraction or shopping , etc.. That would be my only complaint. I would hope that management would slowly attend to the missing stones and exterior face of the hotel complex would slowly be attended to. Your staff are kind and helpful. Your location is second to none. Your buffet breakfasts are not the best I have had on Bali but acceptable and enjoyable. Keep up the good work. I want to see more people enjoy your corner of the world as it is as good as the location is great and the experience is pleasant. Thank you.

Had potential to be a very good resort

Everything Location: terrible very far from everything even our taxi driver asked us why we would want to stay so far from everything Facilities: run down ceiling falling apart pool missing half its tiles beach disgusting and un swimmable. restaurant was filthy and the spa was well over priced we checked in and then checked out an hour later Would recommend somewhere like Sanur for same quiet but much nicer and same price

Nice location away from the city—I had a pleasant and relaxing stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt safe throughout my stay. My only issue was with housekeeping: cleaning was either not done properly or not done at all, as it seemed like only towels and water were being replaced, while areas like the sink were not wiped. There was also an instance where no new towels or water were provided—they appeared to have completely forgotten. The fridge was also not working, though it wasn’t a major issue for me at the time. That said, considering the very reasonable price, I’m not really complaining. I would still recommend this hotel, especially for those looking for a safe and relaxing place to stay.

Very nice and spacious studio, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good affordable restaurant on the premises. We stayed one day extra because we liked it so much.

The gym was basically nonfunctional, the manager told me a renovation is planned. The location is a little bit remote, that was no problem for us, but it's best to be aware of it.

Die schleppende Instandsetzung

Alle Mitarbeitenden sind wahnsinnig nett und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl gefühlt! An einigen Stellen im Hotel wird gearbeitet, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Man muss wissen, dass die Wellen sehr hoch sind und man die Bewegungen in einigen Zimmern spürt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Overall, the hotel is good, but it needs better maintenance. The most impressive part of our stay was the breakfast. For the price we paid, the breakfast was outstanding. Thank you to the trainee in charge at the egg station for making a special omelette for us.

Staff was super friendly, very polite and accommodating. Meals were great, highly recommend ordering the chefs cook-to-order omelette. Quiet hotel out of the hustle and bustle. Grounds up keep was immaculate, with the staffs attention to detail was perfect.

Location was a little far from shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel wasn't very child friendly.

At the beginning, we had small issue due to room type, but it quickly resolved by the lovely Ibu Novi which is the MOD at that time. She is very attentive and very helpful to ensure me and my family getting the best experienced with Wyndham Tamansari Jivva. Our new assigned room by Novi was amazing with private pool and view of green rice fields.

I stayed here because I had to attend a ceremony in Klungkung, and the hotel is only about 10 minutes away, which was very convenient. It was a last-minute booking, so we had to wait a bit for the room to be ready, but that was reasonable. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the main pool near the beach because it was closed for a private event, which was disappointing. Other than that, I really liked the stay—the room and the bed were very comfortable.

Overall not a bad place, it caims to be a resort, however if they spent as much time cleaning the main pool as they do with manicuring the gardens it would be more pleasurable. Balcony room was quite spacious and bed was comfortable. The resort is on the coast but the ocean is dirty, black soil and unswimable due to large swell and current.

Room okay, resort was poor state, lots of repairs needed addressing, beach dreadful, can't swim there, miles from anywhere. Staff were phenomenal though and food outstanding

Dilapidated resort, which requires major maintenance to match it's star rating. Our room smelled mouldy and not inline with 5-star complimentary options. No resort information in the room. Dinner options were limited and costly.

Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet, mit Balkon und hatte teilweisen Meerblick. Der Service war gut und das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist unmittelbar am Strand (obwohl man dort nicht im Meer schwimmen kann). Das war toll! Ich fand es auch gut, dass es einen Fitnessraum gab. Den habe ich gern genutzt.

Die Lage ist relativ abgelegen, aber zum Abschalten sehr gut. Die Zimmerausstattung war teilweise bereits abgenutzt, aber so lang es sauber ist, stört mich das nicht. Was mir am wenigsten gefallen hat: eine gebuchte 90-minütige Massage in der hauseigenen Spa wurde lustlos durchgeführt und war 15 Minuten kürzer! Bei dem Preis kann man wirklich etwas anderes erwarten. Als ich das erwähnte, bekam ich nur ein Lächeln.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

I booked this villa specifically for privacy ,which is exactly what was advertised , but what I got was the complete opposite. Let me be very clear: there is absolutely nothing private about these “private” pools. My entire villa was visible from the neighboring units, and anyone passing by could look straight into my pool and bedroom. The worst part? A group of NAKED MEN were standing right in front of my villa, staring directly at us. When I complained, the manager casually said, “The river is public and don’t worry they are from the locals” and that there was nothing they could do about people looking inside my room and pool. So much for “privacy.” The villa itself felt abandoned and completely open to the jungle. From the moment I walked in, insects, lizards, and all kinds of creatures were already inside. A frog literally jumped on me while I was on the bed. That was the final straw. I left within two hours of arriving , and I had booked for three nights. This was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing and unacceptable stays I’ve ever experienced. Nothing here matched what was advertised. If you value privacy, comfort, or even basic cleanliness, do yourself a favor and avoid this place completely.

The resort really beautiful. I had a room with ocean view and it was amazing. Room is spacious and spotless. All staff member very friendly and helpful.

It is in a bad wear and tear condition. Some rooms are out of service and partially some buildings look abandoned. Hotel clearly needs major maintenance and renovation

El manteniment general de l’habitació i els exteriors de l’hotel és zero. Algunes zones l’hotel cau a trossos, rajoles, sostres cauen. La nevera de l’habitació no funcionava. L’aigua de la piscina molt bruta.

It was very calming

Hotel direkt am schwarzen Strand. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen war gut jedoch ein bisschen teurer als auf Bali üblich. Dennoch war unser Gesamteindruck sehr gut.

Zimmer waren bisschen hellhörig. Konnten unsere Nachbarn gut hören. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist nicht so gepflegt. Im Pool fehlen ein paar Fliesen und an der Hauswand fällt auch die ein oder andere Fassade ab. Würden aber trotzdem das Hotel wieder buchen, da der Gesamteindruck zählt.

La verdad es que poco nos gustó de alojamiento , lo único el personal de hotel que era amable con nosotros

Este hotel acabará cerrando en un tiempo , las fotos del anuncio serán de cuando se inauguró , ya que está todo que se cae a pedazos . No lo aconsejo para nada . No se por dónde empezar …. Los techos del edificio se están cayendo y puedes matar a cualquier persona , la piscina le falta un montón de manidas del suelo y te puedes cortar un pie , las paredes del edificio están llenas de humedad y falta de pintura . Nosotros cogimos la habitación que tenía una pequeña piscina en la terraza , pues bien esta habitación la tuvimos que cambiar , porque la piscina estaba súper sucia y no nos podíamos bañar , las sábanas de camas estaban mojadas y no salía agua caliente . Cuando nos dieron otra habitación , nos dieron otra de clase más baja , sin compensación económica, y encima si llenabas la bañera , se salía el agua por bajo , inundando todo el cuarto de baño . Podría enumerar mas cosas , pero en difinitva no aconsejo para nada este hotel por el dinero que vale .

Beautiful Balinese style reception. Welcoming staff at front desk. Hotel room was huge and very well appointed. Plenty wardrobe space large sitting area and big bathroom. Beds very comfortable. Not so sure about the pool on the balcony ( we were 2nd floor) nowhere to put a chair on the balcony to sit . Main pool area had comfortable sunbeds, is right by the sea but the area is in need of maintenance. Restaurant food was great( no Bali belly all holiday) we had the buffet breakfast ievery morning and a la cart at evening meal. Staff in the restaurant were so lovely the food service was excellent and they coped with shortages of alcoho Beer and wine) l and even going to local shops to top up on one occasion. Would like to know how they work out supplies of this? Special thanks to Awik for really looking after us, but also to Antara; Ariani,Gekari, Frida Saskia and Sudiarsa for their attention too. Our negatives about 1 No stock of beer and wine, ran out more tgan once during our weeks stay. 2 Some rooms in the complex are empty with no locks on door. We wondered if it is getting renovated or is it winding down to close? 3 The hotel is quite a bit away from most attractions on the Island , being situated a good bit East of Denpasar. You need to get taxis or tours to most places. Nowhere within walking distance. .

Very strange place. First of all it’s in the middle of nowhere, however this isn’t a major problem as taxi’s extremely cheap. We stayed for a week, hotel very quiet other than at night when they have external party bookings just across from the restaurant. This involved screeching karaoke, whilst we were trying to eat. This noise from private parties cut our nights short twice. Furthermore the latest drink you can get onsite is 22:45 and there is only one bar, very quiet and no entertainment. Service is good unless you are sat in smoking area, then you are not seen and have to ask for everything. Food at night was generally good and well priced, however we only had breakfast once as it was all cold. The hotel itself is in serious need of some TLC, there is damp and mould on the exterior and bits of the ceiling missing. All the staff are very nice, contributing to 2 stars rather than 1, although one night I was woken up at 1am by a member of staff banging on the door mistakenly offering me a duvet cover. Bali itself is a great place and so cheap to get around, but I recommend avoiding this hotel as there has to be better options.

I only stayed here for one night as I was doing a long day trip. It was really lovely and away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely being in a hotel with the beach at your door step practically.

Great getaway but beware: you can't swim in the beach. Just sit on the lawn, drink your drinks and listen to the waves. No stores nearby so transpo is necessary, but the hotel can arrange that for you.
