The breakfast was a joke! Coffee like mud and the service was terrible.
The shower was dangerous! Slippery floor and no rails to hang onto. The breakfast was rubbish. The staff were sour and unfriendly.
Hotel sạch sẽ, yên tĩnh.
Le calme , la propreté et le petit déjeuner.
Rien.

Big spacious and big balcony
No aircon
Nice Place
The hotel is beautiful, the room and bed were very comfortable and the bathroom was a great size and lots of hot water. However there is no AC when the weather gets warm, but the windows open and they were kind enough to bring us a tall fan that worked great. The only downside to our stay was that the doors are loud when closing, so any guests not careful can slam them and the hallways echo with loud noisy guests.
This is a gem in the heart of Dalat. The location is excellent and walkable to most restaurants and bars. Very nice place and we will definitely return if in Dalat.
There was a wonderful range of food available and it varied each day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy and interacting with our party of 4 people. Overall the hotel is very luxurious and our room was very spacious with wonderful views and a huge ensuite. It had the most comfortable bed I have slept in during my many trips to Vietnam. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Not a single thing.
Great hotel, large clean rooms, great bathrooms, good breakfast and very nice staff eager to help.
En god del gatestøy. Frokosten burde vært mye bedre. Vanskelig med kommunikasjonen-dårlig engelsk. Google translate klarer ikke alt. Gode senger og bad/toalettforhold.
We recently stayed here for two nights on a family holiday. The hotel is in a good location with many places to eat nearby. The room was well appointed with a large bathroom. Breakfast was OK but the choices were a bit limited. I would recommend this hotel.
A great location and Anny the very fluent English speaker was a bonus
The big travel groups who have no discipline over their children running around in lobby and breakfast
Within walking distance of the night market. Fairly quiet area. Hotel staff keep the hotel super clean.
Room was great and hotel was in a great location. However reception staff didn’t speak English at all.
This hotel has a very grand lobby and the staff attending are very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. Couple downsides are that the walls are a little thin. There was a family up at 4am and they were speaking very loudly and their children were running up and down the halls being very loud. Also, the hotel does not have air conditioning, but they did bring a fan for us when we requested it. The weather in Da Lat at night time was cool enough at night that it wasn't too bad. The hotel is walkable to many restaurants.
Very nice 3 stars hotel. Staff is friendly and attentive. Room is clean. Bed linen and bath towels are not like new but ok.
People were constantly smoking in the hallway and smoke can easily come into your room from under the door.
I hate leaving bad reviews, almost all of mine are for places I’ve enjoyed. But…. There comes a time for exceptions to help people make good choices. This is my second time to come to Dalat, and I wanted to stay somewhere more walkable to be close to the market and such, and this place had great reviews, so I thought it was a good choice. To start off with, the staff is great, very friendly, and after a couple of attempts, the morning staff was able to help me also book transport to Nha Trang, so very appreciated on that front. Aside from the horrible noise issues, the hotel was quite a good deal For the cost. The rooms were clean, the beds were fine, but hotels don’t really work if you can’t sleep. Major issue: all the rooms around us were booked by a student group, and up until midnight, there was loud shouting in the halls, what sounded like furniture being rearranged and pounding on all doors (including ours) and people ringing the room doorbells (including ours) until midnight, and again at 7am. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Ambien and earplugs were no match for the chaos. The hotel staff said they had tried to intervene, and they had received promises that it would get better, but there are students filling every floor, and I’m not spending another night of my vacation dealing with that again. Luckily in all my time awake last night I found a different hotel to stay in. They also said that since I’d booked through Expedia, they hadn’t been paid yet and wouldn’t be offering me a refund on the last night here even though I was checking out. Night before last was pretty bad, but last night was just insane, I feel like it pretty much ruined half our trip here by itself. Yeah, it was awful. I’ve stayed in some pretty rough places too. This was quite good until that part. Things that were annoying, but not something I’d ever leave a bad review about. Breakfast cooked to order is a bit of a stretch, the guy making the eggs didn’t speak any English and didn’t really try, and just gives you two sunny side up eggs if you talk to him, and the counter in the bathroom was crumbling away, it didn’t hurt my kid so no harm no foul there, and there is a distinct lack of toilet paper in the bathroom. Which given the behavior of the student group may have been intentional 😂. Yeah, so, pretty good place, pretty awful experience. Stay at your own risk, bring earplugs for sure. The walls here seem like they are made to amplify sounds. This has been cross posted from Google as a PSA
I had a great time this hotel! Iris is in the center, walk to night market only 3 minutes and we like the people who manage the hotel, so kind and help in everything! I stayed 3 hotels in Dalat already and this was the best hotel with the most wonderful people! Nice huge room is clean & well-equipped. Buffet breakfast was included and there are so many different choice of European and Asian. It was delicious! I will highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
Good hotel good location good breakfast beautiful city
Staff not very friendly, location a bit far from central areas and need to climb a hill - good thing is that it’s quiet. Sheets not very clean. Breakfast was ok.
Had just an average stay at the iris dalat. The staff were not particularly helpful. We wanted to sit at night at one of the breakfast tables to play games - with no one else around - and they would not let us. We had to take a cab to the market as it would have been too far a walk for older travelers with us. As a result we really had to cab most everywhere if we wanted to go somewhere. The rooms are big and are clean. But nothing very remarkable stood out about the hotel.
Decent hotel but a little further away from the central night market. Dog barking at night kept me awake a few nights. Ok breakfast with small selection. The staff is quiet and doesn’t talk much. Ok for a few nights stay.
We moved up to this hotel as we had some friends staying here. Clean, spacious rooms. Modern style. Very nice. Great staff. Breakfast wasn't too bad. The bar is still waiting for a license but just walk up the street to get beers. Heaps of food in the area. The only problem is all the buses that come into that part of town and nobody knows how to drive? But that is another unrelated issue. I would definitely stay here again. Value for money.
We spent 2 nights here. The hotel is located in the center of Dalat. Room is clean and has a lot of space but no air conditioning. The weather was very hot in Vietnam right now and it affected Da Lat too even though this is a mountain area. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good. I would come back in the future and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and found the rooms spacious. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and had a massive patio. We were able to sit there of an afternoon and listen to the sounds of Dalat. The hotel was close to shops and restaurants and was in walking distance of the Night Markets. The area where the hotel was situated can get very congested with traffic on the weekends. The breakfast was ample, and the service at breakfast was adequate. There was only one negative, and that was the noise from other guests when they checked in at night. Doors were slammed and children ran through the corridors. This was not the fault of the hotel, but something to be aware of. We arranged a transfer to Dalat Airport through reception and this was arranged professionally and efficiently. Overall, it was a good stay and the staff were friendly and efficient..
Second stay for us. Hotel consistant with super friendly and professional staff. Good value for the splendid service and well presented hotel. Breakfast buffet superb, and different dishes each day great On our last day, we had to leave very early, the hotel offered a packed breakfast takeaway, it was splended and appreciated. Well done Iris Hotel, i recommend you to anyone, see you again. Arthur nd Hue
Spacious clean rooms. Good location a little up the hill from the centre of town. Wierd breakfast that on one day gave our entire group of 5 immediate rush to the toilet. Noisy staff talking and radios, as well as guests leaving banging doors etc seem to echo through the halls in the morning. Don't expect to get much good sleep after 6am.
Good value money hotel, situated in a quiet street that you have to walk a little way to acces, which suited us. The restaurant was for breakfast only and after the first day resorted away from a buffet to being served. This gave limited choice, which was probsbly due to the number of people staying. Quality was good
Contacted them 5 times in relation to a booking I had and no one from the hotel would respond. In the end I had to cancel. Extremely poor customer service and would not recommend. Had to book with a different hotel in same area
Clean and nice hotel. Not too far from the night market. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was plain but decent. They have dedicated parking for a car if you drive, so you don't have to park on the street. I found the staff to be hospitable, though I really hate how Vietnamese hotels keep your passport until you check out.
Location is really good. Rooms are big and clean. Staff was really friendly and helpful
Room was large, clean and comfortable. Hotel was conveniently located near the night market and various eateries and restaurants. Only drawback was that it can get rather noisy in the night and early morning due to the arrival and departure of tour buses bringing loads of visitors during the busy travel season. Otherwise, stay was enjoyable.
I love the hotel and the hotel staff. Everyone is kind and courteous. I stay in this hotel everytime I visit Dalat. It’s at a great location where it has street vendors. It is also located near the Dalat market and right at the heart of Dalat. The place offers excellent food and services at a reasonable price. I would recommend this place to those who plan to visit Dalat.
The family room is spacious. About 10-15 mins away from the dalat night market. A quieter area compared to the hotels Around the night market
A very nice, luxury hotel, at a bvery good location atvthe centre of Dalat city. Walking distance from the lake. Great stuff and affordable price for the quality and amenities that you get. Would like to stay again at the future!
We enjoyed our stay at the Iris Da Lat Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a short walk to the town centre and market. Breakfast was very good.
We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s in an area where there are many hotels but it’s a fair walk to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best so far in Vietnam. The only downside is that the sound proofing isn’t great and we had discourteous loud Chinese neighbours in the room next door - not the hotel’s fault but it made it hard to sleep.
The hotel is stuck in a back street area of Dalat but was clean and only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We were disappointed in the quality of the breakfast that was served and the restaurant was open in the evening for dinner so we had to go down town each night, We were also disappointed that the reception staff had limited English and it was difficult to make them understand what we were saying at times. One pleasing feature was the driver they arranged to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. He was terrific and took us on a sightseeing trip around Dalat for a very reasonable price.
Hotel was nice enough with spacious room, just the location probably wasn't the best as it was bit of a roundabout route to get to.
The hotel is amazing. exactly what I thought. Rooms are large and clean. And a very nice balcony. The hotel staff is very nice. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the market.
The hotel is a few minutes walk from the market. The hotel is beautiful, clean, large rooms with balconies. Good breakfast. A reception staff that knows English. It was good that I had chosen the hotel.
The Iris Da Lat Hotel is a reasonably new hotel within walking distance (10 mins) from the Lake. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. My room was very large and the shower pressure itself is worth the stay!! The downsides - the other guests on my floor were incredibly loud, and were yelling and slamming doors until 2am. Then they started banging on doors, ringing doorbells and yelling at 6.30am. Not the hotels fault at all, but for an annoying couple of nights!

Nice place , valueable price to stay when you travel Da Lat. They have include breakfast with acceptable if you just need a simple dish to eat before explore Da Lat . The location seemly at the centre of Da Lat and take 10 minutes for a walk to enjoys Night Market . It's fairly to give this hotel 4* rate
Room is spacious and clean. No great view but atmosphere is really okay. Staffs are nice and location is at central - easy to access most of attractions. Price is ok - we booked on Traveloka 500k per night
Pleasant clean, quiet hotel
3rd time back in Dalat and chose Iris Dalat Hotel again. My wife and I stayed a total of 4 nights this time and loved every moment of it. I chose this hotel for it's location and quality. Staff are friendly and room is clean. Will reccomend to friends who is travelling to Dalat to stay at Iris.
We stayed at level 5, great balcony with view of the whole town. Cozy, cool and quiet. The distance to town centre and market is just perfect --- about 10 mins walk. It would be noisy if it is too near to the market.
Gorgeous hotel with huge rooms, hot and powerful showers and comfortable beds!
Very spacious and comfortable room with a balcony. Friendly staff and close to restaurants and the market. Enjoyed our stay.
Nice, big room, clean hotel with basic facilities, no air conditioner only fan, reasonably good vietnamese breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room has window but no view. At least 10 minutes walk along slope and staircase to the night market and restaurants If you do not have walking problem definetly a good choice to stay.
We stayed 2 nights in a living room. The room was big, clean and had everything we needed. But the window went directly to a wall. So there was absolutely no view and lights were also needed in daytime. Service was friendly and breakfast normal vietnam standard, not worse than in a 4*. Was quite expensive because it was a weekend.
Location is good, breakfast is okay, room is clean.
Da Lat is a wonderful place. The Irus is a newer proprty so all is good. Staff is warm and helpful. It is not as close to beautiful lake in town center as I would have liked. But no problem with hotel and price.
clean-staff are very nice. far from night market but the room is very big.
A new hotel with friendly staff and fairly large room . Room and bathroom clean with basic facilities. As with most hotels in Da Lat, the room did not have air conditioner and heater. During our stay there though we were in thick clothing, it was quite cold at night. Hotel about 10 minutes walk to the night market .Breakfast was adequate.
Buffet for breakfast is poor, not good
Nice clean hotel . Caters more for asian cuisine . Nice and clean. Great location to market and restaurants . Very helpful staff. Could not do enough for us at 10pm after we checked out of saphir delat hotel ( see other review)
I stayed 3 nights at Iris Dalat. Overall it was OK. The room is basic, but clean. Location is Ok, about 10 mins walking to center city dalat. They are a bit stingy on toiletries, I had to ask for a new shampoo and shower gel every night.
I was assigned to a room with no view on the first floor just right up the hotel restaurant. It's also the last room near the rear staircase, so I was waken up early every morning by the sound of moving chairs/utilities when the restaurant's preparing to open. It was really disturbance to a guest.
great stay..
Though it is up on a small hill, it is noisy the whole night. I have to close all the windows in a room without air-conditioning.
Fairly short walk down to the market so central. High standards
Room very big, quite, easy access to night market, Helpful staff
Unlike some SE Asian hotels, the rooms in these hotels are fairly spacious. Add to that new construction and a decent location to the city center and you have a nice hotel to stay at while in Dalat. The lobby is large and open, the staff is attentive and the location is good for walking around and easy to locate. Enjoyed the stay.
good hotel with reasonal price. but room has some moldy odor.
Large, clean room as you would expect in a new hotel. Great breakfast choices. Within walking distance to restaurants and sights including public market and lake. Thinly complaint and it's not the hotel's fault is the noise when a larger tour group books at a hotel across from the Iris. There's a lot of shouting at around 5 am.
Hotel is clean with good service. Room spacious for the given prices. Service with locals and western BF. Less than 10 minutes walk to beautiful lake side and a number of cafes nearby for relaxing at afternoon. Hotel staff assist to arrange airport bus pickup at door steps.
very good
We stayed there for my brother's wedding. The room did not come with iron so we call down there to ask for it. We were told that they have the laundry service but they do not have iron or ironing board. We travelled there from oversea so we will need to iron most of our clothes. They didnt replenish the shampoo or conditioner or shower gel. You have to open the window to get cool air but it is too noisy with dogs barking all night.
This hotel is ok by any standards but it's applying for locals. If you stay 1 night it's a good location and good overall we did 3 night it was too much no ax in the room
All good but whilst this hotel is new the noise travels easily, hence other guests made it our noisest stay in many years. People slamming doors after midnight and again at 6am. If you speak English An on reception is the only person to help you with taxis and tours etc. Bfast was good.
New and grandeur looking hotel on hilltop. 10 minutes walking distance to Dalat market.
New hotel, no ac but it is not needed. A fan kept the room very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was adequate but could be improved.
Well, great services manner from receptionist and housekeeper. Good location to explore walking area of down town of Dalat. Great food corner and restaurants near by. I strong recommend the visitor to go for lunch at Hoadao Vietnamese cuisine restaurant at Nam Ky Khoi Nghia str. by walk along street on the left side of hotel. If you prefer to enjoy selective choices of Vietnamese bagguets and other cakes, just go straight to the conjunction of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and 3-2 street and take a turn to the left, you will find the Lien Hoa bakery, the best shop in town.
Room is comfort and big. Nice breakfast. Clean toilet.
nice.
Great hotel in Dalat, good location, quiet early morning, good breakfast
Fairly new hotel. Staff helpful and help me to go on day tours Walking distance to market Cheap food close as I don't go to upperclass resaurants on my own
Great hotel with a great view. Loved it but photos are bigger than actual size of the room. stayed in a room with balcony. would go back there in a heartbeat
The hotel exterior look nice & well maintained. The lobby being nicely decorated and comfortable if you would like to just sit there for some quiet moment. The room is rather simple, spacious, bathroom is clean and neat. Breakfast is decent. It's a little distance from the town centre, walkable approx. 15 mins, not a scenic walk but with the weather in Da Lat, we did not mind at all. Alternatively if you prefer to cab to town, there are always taxi waiting for customers near the hotel.
Don't expect early check in, it's not possible. I even tried to negotiate to upgrade and was willing to pay more but the deal the receptionist gave me was ridiculous so i had very bad impression from the first day. Also you have to pay for the map, itz cheap but i never had to pay for a map to a hotel before in my life so it was kinda funny Here comes the good part. Like others have said the hotel is new and in good condition. The location is not too far and is not too loud so it was good. Breakfast was great, different each day with varieties to choose from. The only downside is the staffs, they are not so friendly and helpful except for the bell boy. But for the price and the condition of the hotel i think it was a good deal.
The lobby is elegant. The room is spacious. The hotel is located at the end of a street so you takes 15 minutes walk to market roundabout. If you have more than one person, the taxi fare is rather cheap. From our experience, all taxis use meter. The breakfast was out-of-expectation good.
New hotel. Clean. Friendly service. Breakfast 3/5. 10 minute walk from central market. Few restaurants around and not easy to find food during the day. However the night market in the central square is fabulous. Many vendors selling food cooked to order. Very cheap. Try the rice paper pancakes stuffed and rolled hot. Not much in city but spectacular scenery outside of town.
Traveling from North to South Vietnam, & so far the best hotel we've stayed in (for 3 nights) at the $40 range. Everything about this hotel was great. It's new and feels like a 4 star. Service is professional, front desk staff quick and responsive. Breakfast buffet was good. Rooms were large, clean and shower amazing. Location is very central w lots of restaurants and shopping in area. We rented a scooter from another hotel down the block for $90/day. Best way to get around as there's so much to see. Go to the Super C market, try the cold coconuts, bakery and virtual 3D video game upstairs. Have fun!
Brand new hotel in DaLat and everything is in great condition. The lobby could be in most 5 Star hotels. My room was huge with a separate living room area - couch and coffee table. Very comfortable bed with good linens. No AC, but not necessary here since it is quite cool at night - slept with the window open and it was fine. About a 5-10 minute walk to the main square with plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel put together a nice list of good restaurants nearby - try Deli BBQ for a true Vietnamese BBQ experience. The desk staff spoke pretty good English and were able to make good suggestions and arrange transport. Breakfast was decent with a selection of mostly Asian foods, although you could get eggs freshly cooked. Coffee needs improvement.
Not sure how this place got excellent ratings, it was ok. Room was basic, shower/hot water good, breakfast was ok Vietnamese. Location ok.
I have a wonderfull time in Da lat, the staffs are so friendly and helpfull
This hotel is a hidden gem in the hotels.com listing for the Dalat area. Compared to the other 3-star hotel I stayed before moving here, this is more like a 5-star hotel but for the area which is kind of boring. During my stay, I found out that the hotel was opened a month prior and that explained its top notch cleanliness. One thing I particularly like was that the hotel was designed with the modern technology in mind with lots of plug ins near the bed and the fast wifi.I stayed during the New Year so I don't know how it is in the Summer because it doesn't seem to has air conditioning which is not very popular with hotels in this city.
Good looking hotel, nice room. Can confirm 3* for it. Breakfast was ok.
I really enjoyed my stay. Quiet, clean and Cozy. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Only downside was the numerous tour buses picking up early in the morning from nearby hotels. The horns were loud. Dalat is a lovely place to relax.
Good hotel, fast service and location is close to city centre. Staffs are very helpful and welcoming. Room has a lot of space and looks like new.
Loved this hotel. Great staff, good food, and excellent location to night market, travel/tour booking places, food, and nightlife.
