O anfitrião, Filipe, é de uma simpatia e disponibilidade máxima, e a forma como recebeu foi um excelente ponto de partida para uma estadia muito agradável. O espaço é amplo, bonito e cuidado, para além da higiene e limpeza irrepreensíveis. Muitas zonas verdes, zonas de lazer, uma enorme sensação de paz e tranquilidade, aliadas ao conforto e a uma excelente localização (pertíssimo das praias). Perfeito quer para uma visita individual, escapadinha romântica ou um plano familiar. Definitivamente um local a regressar.

Estadia 5 estrelas. Excelente localização, conforto e descanso. Aconselho a todos que queiram uma escapadinha diferente e tranquila.

Magnifique propriété.

Dommage qu'il a fallu attendre 30 mn avant de voir arriver une personne ( très sympathique), et cela malgré ma confirmation de mon heure d'arrivée. L'absence de dosettes café (2 seraient suffisantes), a disposition...dans la chambre

Gostámos do espaço quer em comodidades e limpeza,bem com da amabilidade e disponibilidade do anfitrião. Recomendamos a visita ao local.

Tudo. O espaço remete-nos ao sossego, é um encontro com a natureza. Desde os jardins bem tratados, ao pequeno lago, ao enorme número de aves que ali aparecem, desde rolas, melros, perdizes , até pica-paus... Cada recanto tem os seus pormenores. A área de refeitório partilhada, a sala de jogos na cave, a zona de meditação, o parque infantil para os miúdos e claro a fabulosa piscina... Voltaremos certamente. Agradecemos a simpatia do Filipe e da sua esposa.

Das Haus und die Anlage ist ein Traum.

Spazio esterno bello e molto ben curato, camera e bagno spaziosi, personale super disponibile, tutto pulito, letto comodo, spiaggia facile da raggiungere in pochi minuti in macchina.

Umidità e odore di muffa (ci sono stata a maggio e pioveva, probabilmente il problema non si presenta nel periodo estivo).

Sítio maravilhoso para descansar❤️ Limpeza 5 estrelas. Anfitrião muito atencioso e disponível.

Everything is amazing

Wir waren zum 2. Mal in der Vila Louro und haben uns wieder sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich herzlich, die weitläufige Gartenanlage ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt, ebenso der Pool. Im hellen und freundlich gestalteten Frühstücksraum gibt es eine leckere Auswahl mit frischen Eierspeisen. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden auf dem nicht öffentlich zugänglichen Hotelgelände. Hier kann man sich wirklich entspannen und genießen!

Eu e a minha namorada adoramos a nossa estadia no Hotel Vila Louro foi simplesmente maravilhoso 😊 desde os primeiro momento sentimos um ambiente muito acolhedor e tranquilo. O hotel é lindíssimo, com um jardim bem cuidado, uma piscina fantástica e vários espaços perfeitos para relaxar e aproveitar o sol. Os quartos são amplos, muito confortáveis e extremamente limpos — nota-se o cuidado e a dedicação O que mais nos encantou foi a simpatia do Filipe e da sr karina Sempre atenciosos, prestáveis e sorridentes, fizeram-nos sentir verdadeiramente em casa. Um ambiente familiar e nós pudemos descansar em total tranquilidade. Sem dúvida, o Hotel Vila Louro é um lugar especial — ideal para quem procura conforto, sossego e um atendimento de excelência. Recomendo de coração e com certeza voltaremos! 🙌🏼

Todo o jardim com vários recantos e as arvores, está muito bem cuidado, é bonito de se ver. O espaço envolvente é muito agradável, transmite uma paz e serenidade que nos deixa muito confortáveis, mesmo que a estadia seja curta.

Zeer gastvrije hosts, Ontbijt Fantastisch! Heerlijke tuin, prachtig zwembad, rustige kamer.

Verwarming zwembad was lekker geweest, en iets comfortabeler stoelen om buiten te zitten, maar het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vila Louro. The property is stunning, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located just a short drive from the beach. The pool, the rooms, and the common areas are all gorgeous and spotless. Felipe is an incredible host who makes you feel truly at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it!

La tranquilidad que se respira y al mismo tiempo las playas las tienen a 10 min.

Da localização, do jardim, da piscina.

Não havia pequeno almoço, ao contrário do que reservei no Booking, não vi um único funcionário, não arrumaram o quarto nem fizeram limpeza enquanto lá estivemos. Pedi por sms para sair mais tarde e nunca recebi resposta. Havia uma cozinha comunitária suja e desarrumada, sem qualquer funcionário ou limpeza diária. Não recebi qualquer fatura do pagamento nem nunca me contactaram por escrito para me pedir o NIF para emissão da mesma. As toalhas de banho estavam húmidas e mal lavadas. Não havia uma simples garrafa de água no quarto, as almofadas eram desconfortáveis.

O Filipe foi um anfitrião muito simpático e prestativo. O espaço dispõe de uma área ajardinada ampla e muito acolhedora com recantos simpáticos e tranquilos para estar em família. A zona da piscina também é agradável e cuidada.

Sugerimos que coloquem mais panos da louça e toalhas na cozinha partilhada.

Gostei do acolhimento, do espaço em geral como está a Vila Louro, piscina Top. Pequeno almoço com muita variedade. Recomendo e é para voltar!

The room was very nice and and clean. Very comfortable bed. Great pool. The garden is beautiful and super well taken care of. The possibility of using the shared kitchen, even just for keeping fruit in the fridge, was great. Super quiet place, where you can hear nature's sounds. The owner is always available and is nice and very affable and helpful.

The property is located in a compound that is fenced in and is completely safe. The property is close to the beach town of Santa Cruz. The property itself is like a little paradise and the amenities, pool, Kitchen, and the decor is exceptional!

What a beautiful, quiet location with an amazing garden and lovely swimming pool. Filipe is a fantastic host, he had clearly explained to us how we could check in and during the stay you can always reach him with questions. The rooms are super clean and large. It is nice that you can use the shared kitchen that is equipped with all kinds of kitchen utensils. We only used the kitchen for our breakfast because in the low season there is no breakfast served. That was no problem because there is a Lidl nearby where you can get fresh bread and groceries. We definitly recommend taking a rental car because there is so much to see in this area where you will not get without a rental car (Santa Cruz, Ericeira, Cascais, Sintra, Obidos, etc.). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

"Vila Lauro is a wonderful place to stay, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere with a touch of resort-like charm. The property features a pristine swimming pool and immaculately clean rooms and bathrooms. The expansive garden, lush with vibrant green turf, citrus and plum trees adds to the tranquil setting. Breakfast is served in a beautiful glass room with garden views, and the meals were both delicious and generously portioned. The villa also includes a well-equipped kitchen, a barbecue area, a self serving bar, and a loft, providing plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly responsive and offered excellent recommendations for anything we needed. I highly recommend Vila Lauro for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable retreat

We spent a weekend with friends and families, including our children - from babies to 9-year-old. Mr. Filipe Louro da Silva, one of the owners, is extremely aggressive, both verbal and physical. Unutterable the offensive way we were treated for a 15 mins later check-out (it seemed that the he was "out of his mind", without any criticism, screaming frighteningly loudly and hitting everything). He threatened us, the children were very scary, some friends started crying due that violence, and everyone was shocked!! We were monitored, without consent, by surveillance cameras and the owner activated our deposit, in which he limited himself to list a set of extra fake services (obviously without any evidence that they were performed). .... Fomos passar um fim-de-semana comprido com amigos e respetivas famílias, incluindo os nossos filhos - desde bebés a crianças de 9 anos. O proprietário é de uma agressividade extrema, tanto verbal, como física. Não há descrição da forma ofensiva de como fomos tratados no check-out por um atraso de 15 mins (pareceu-nos que o proprietário estava “fora de si”, sem qualquer crítica, a gritar descontroladamente e a bater em tudo o que estava ao seu alcance). Ameaçou-nos, as crianças ficaram muito assustadas, algumas amigas começaram a chorar com aquela violência, e estávamos todos chocados!! Fomos monitorizados, sem consentimento, por câmaras de vigilância e o proprietário ativou a caução depositada, em que se limitou a listar um conjunto de serviços extra e falsos (obviamente sem qualquer evidência de que foram executados).

I can not stop talking about this beautiful Villa. The owner Philipe is an AMAZING friendly, kind person. We stayed here 3 days before our closing (purchased a vacation home on silver coast) and was doing a lot of home shopping before our moving date and Filipe was so kind to let us store all the boxes. The Villas room are extremely clean, beautifully decorated and well organized in a beautiful well maintained property/garden. Also, the shared kitchen which you can cook or store food while you stay here is a big plus. We had 2 rooms one for me and my husband and one for our daughter who arrived few days later from UK. Both the room were fully equipped, well decorated l, extremely clean with SO COMFORTABLE BEDS, and beautiful view of the garden. I highly recommend this place and Philipe will be on my friends contact list when we visit our home in silver cost. Thank you Philipe and Staff for a pleasant and memorable stay!

Shared kitchen was rustic and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely. Room was great for what we needed, included a balcony. Games room had a lot of great games and bar was fully equipped.

I cannot rate Vila Louru highly enough. It is a little oasis on the outskirts of Santa Cruz. You enter the electronic gates and do not want to leave. Phillipe, our host, is very attentive and helpful. The room was beautiful, very clean , characterful with a modern bathroom. The breakfast room has a wonderful outlook onto the garden with a huge array of breakfast items including fresh to order eggs and home made pastries. There is a good sized outdoor pool and sun loungers, a pool table in the basement, and a guest kitchen which is extremely useful as well as a fridge in the room. I have enjoyed our stay here enormously.

We rented the house for a weekend, and he was monitoring us (without consent) and our children through cameras. On the check-out day he was completely out of himself callings us names because we were 15 min late... in front of the children!! The children were so scared that we had to take them out of the house. He even entered a room without knocking on the door and began shouting at a couple who were changing the diaper of a 3-month-old baby because they were 15 minutes late compared to their check out time. Also, be prepared for him to inventing extra values for cleaning that we couldn't confirm if were true. One of the rudest people I've ever seen. My friends, our children and I were mistreated and the aggressiveness of Mr. Filipe Louro da Silva (one of the owners) was such that it looked like he wanted to hit one of the guests (a woman).

I absolutely loved this accommodation! I would definitely come here again, it’s a quiet and calm stay with a beautiful garden and outside area. Everyone is so friendly and I felt safe all the time, even though I was traveling alone.

The property is family owned and operated...Taking great pride in presenting a comfortable and relaxing environment...The grounds are just beautiful...I enjoyed a dip in the pool and got some sun...Gin and tonic from the bar and I was a happy camper...My room was comfortable with everything I needed...Felipe and family go the extra distance to ensure an awesome stay...

Noise is due to thin walls carries when elevated...Music at breakfast was horrible...No Snoop Dog in this environment por favor!

This is a lovely, quiet spot with clean, spacious rooms and a pretty garden that was excellent for our little boy to run around in. He played on the little playground and swam in the pool and it was perfect! Phillipe was always on hand to assist if we needed anything too. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had rooms in the main house, very nice and comfortable. The common areas are well thought out, the grounds were beautiful. It was perfect for our needs (4 adults including 1 couple). The owner was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I can’t imagine a more perfect place to stay in this area of Portugal. This was a last minute change of itinerary for us and a highlight of the trip. The house has so much character and so well appointed. The location is very close, just minutes to the coastline. Our room was very nice and bed super comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. 10 stars!

It was the best expierence someone could wish for! From the moment we entered the area we fehlt super happy and relaxed. All the details, the shared kitchen, , the various seating areas, the room itself - they were just so beautiful! And even the reception via phone was just easy and perfect! We would have stayed longer if it wasn't fully booked ;)

Exceptionally beautiful garden with a spacious, clean pool of perfect temperature. Super friendly and helpful personnel who make you feel at home and have good suggestions. Great location near the laid back and beautiful beach of Santa Cruz and in relative proximity to Lisbon, Sintra, Nazaré and Obidos. Our children of many different ages all loved our stay!

Vila Louro is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The lovely rooms are located in a beautiful garden with a pool, just 10 minutes from the beaches and down town Santa Cruz. The hosts were lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Amazing place and host

Immaculate property and kind host. Stopped here on our cycling trip through Portugal and would highly recommend to others. Family friendly, our 10 month old enjoyed the grass and playground.

The pool was lovely and the property was large and quiet.

I think the shower needed a through clean as there was some mould build up.

This property is very nice.Our only regret is that we only spent two days there.There is so much to do and see with the numerous historical sites close by.The beach is beautiful along with the surrounding countryside. The dining options were fantastic.Next time we go we will spend the whole week!
