Reviewed Oct 12, 2025Unexpectedly, we were upgraded and provided with a suite. Four beds were excessive for an elderly couple, but we gratefully accepted the kind gesture. Thank you. Joking, we said it must have been a status match since we hold lifetime platinum in the Marriott programme. We have stayed at this hotel over fifty times in the past thirty years.The guests were predominantly of Chinese descent, mostly Taiwanese, so it wasn't noisy. The only disappointment was that the air conditioning in the main room was faulty, necessitating the use of an extra blanket.

施設はしっかり古さを感じますが、
自然が多く、大人から子供まで楽しめるので
何泊しても楽しめると思います。
ただ、例年は気になりませんが、
今回は、部屋の衛生面が酷くて
退室しようか家族で相談したほどでした。
2泊しましたが、清掃してもらっても、
しばらく洗ってなかったのか部屋着が臭くて着用できなかったり、
ソファの下に自分たちの物でない輪ゴム、
カーテンの下にはミニカー、
挙げ句の果てには、部屋の浴槽が気持ち悪いほど汚れており、フロントに電話して清掃してもらったほどです。
このランクの部屋だったからガサツに掃除されたのかはわかりませんが、ここ数年気に入って利用していただけに残念です。
辛口かもしれませんが、事実しか書いていませんので、参考になればと思います。

Reviewed Aug 21, 202310年ぐらい前から利用しているホテルで、その間に何回か経営が変わってますが、ANAの傘下になってホスピタリティがより良くなるかと期待しましたが、前の前の経営の時の方が良かった。
日本での普通のビジネスホテル並みのサービスは受けられるという印象です。リゾートでリラックスしに来た気分では物足りない印象です。
赤坂のANAホテルで受けられたサービスとはホテルのランクが違うので仕方ないのかもしれませんが。
大浴場のロッカーなど施設の整備と部屋のバスルームのアメニティは良くなってました。
窓からの眺めは雄大な自然が楽しめますが、窓ガラスにクリームがついた指で触ったような指紋の汚れがありました。

Reviewed Jan 6, 2022食事付きのプランにしていたのですが、夕食、朝食共に食事付きリストに名前が載ってなかったらしく、何度も聞かれたので、その点が正直残念なポイントでした。
でも、スタッフの方々は皆さん丁寧な対応をしてくださっていたので、また来年も行きたいと思います。
正月2泊3日本館7F露天風呂付きメゾネットにお世話になりました。フカフカのバスタオル、畳のベッド、露天風呂はあいにくの天気でしたが、スキー・ボードの前後で気持ち良くつかることができました。
シャトルバスで白樺の湯を1回だけ利用しましたが、部屋の露天風呂で充分！
部屋やトイレまわりは清掃が行き届いてます。
食事は、夕朝食付きプラン。夕飯は焼き肉と和食をチョイス。小学生男子も大満足で美味しくいただきました。朝食はアルベルクの大きな窓で景色をみながらオムレツ、スムージー、花巻納豆はタレではなく豆の味がおいしく、きんぴら、安比高原ヨーグルトのソース、何よりお米が美味しく食べ過ぎてしまいました。

一点残念だったのは、設備の故障なのかどなたかが水を入れたのか分かりませんが、大浴場のお湯が緩く、体が温まらないので部屋で入り直しました。
スタッフは親切丁寧な素晴らしい対応でした。
チェックイン時に、夕食と朝食の時間を聞いて待ち時間を無くすようにしてもらいたいです。朝食時は、混雑して静かに食べる事出来ませんでした。せっかくのロケーションも台無しですねぇ。

クラウンプラザにリブランドするらしいですが、
今はバブル時代に建った二昔前のホテルという感じです。
ATMの置き方や場所、ホテル内の売店んもお土産屋さんも、どこか古臭い。。。。
朝食時のレストランはまずまず整った感じですが、海外のクラウンプラザに比べると、狭いし、食材も少ない感じです。
まあ、これからIHGがテコ入れするでしょう

Reviewed Jul 25, 2021部屋に着いたらベビースターラーメンが絨毯に落ちてました。冷蔵庫のスイッチが抜かれ扉は開いてました。三人なのに洗面所のコップは二つでした。朝行ったら車にすごい傷がついてました。
ロビーの人は頑張っていましたが人手不足でした。

Reviewed Jul 24, 2021一泊する夕食のレストラン予約の日にちが次の日になっていた。前日に予約連絡を入れ確認したものの、当日チェックインしてびっくり。ホテルのフロントで確認していただかなかったら大変でした。その後、調整してもらい夕食時間も希望時間通りで楽しく過ごせました。

Reviewed Feb 24, 2021全体的に良かったです。子供も楽しんでいました。問題があるなら２つ。チェックイン後、部屋のバスルームを見たら誰かの毛が落ちていました。部屋でのシャワーは使用せず、温泉に入りました。もう一つはジムで働いている中年女性が怖かったです。言い方なんでしょうけども、とても強い口調でした。

Reviewed Aug 19, 2020以前は清潔で衛生的で快適したが、今回は残念ながら、お部屋や大浴場の更衣室やトイレに改善して頂きたい箇所がありました。
お部屋のインフォメーションのファイルの裏側とファイルが置かれていたラックにお菓子の食べかすがベッタリついてました。
大浴場の更衣室の冷水機が故障中だったのですが、冷水機から漏れた水が、ござのような素材の床に浸みてカビが生えてる箇所がありました。
フロントから１番近い洋式トイレの便座除菌スプレーが全部故障していて、調整中と貼り紙がされてて使用できませんでした。
コロナウイルスの影響で滞在者の人数が少なかったので、不衛生な箇所を避ける事もできましたが、トイレの便座除菌スプレーはコロナウイルスの影響も考えて整備して頂きたいと思いました。

Reviewed Jan 31, 2020Our overall impression of the hotel was good. The skiing was great and ski runs meticulously groomed. There was a good range of choices for food. The food court offered a reasonable choice of food at affordable prices. The Japanese restaurant Nanashigure was the best restaurant we ate at catering to our group of 14 which included 4 young children. Arlberg Restaurant was great for breakfast buffets. We were disappointed with Brisa and Richoen and Bireika was meh!
Our rooms were clean but felt overheated and the temperature could not be regulated except by opening a tiny window for the duration of our stay!
The ski school for children is a great resource for young families who want to introduce skiing to their kids early. The three year olds in our family thoroughly enjoyed their lessons.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2020餐食自助餐品質很好，套餐部分口味很好但分量稍嫌不足，尤其經過一天的滑雪活動
冬天入住安比格蘭滑雪行，酒店服務良好，房間大小適中，床鋪舒適，住宿條件算不錯。
因為新年聖誕關係人很多，不知是不是人多原因加了地下一間自助餐廳，但略嫌簡陋，食物質素也一般，另外白樺溫泉使用人流也多得很，有點嚇到。
とても綺麗で温かく、お部屋も広く快適でした。
レストランの予約が取れないのが残念でした。
宿泊客は、基本、食べ放題の方へ行かせられるようですね。。。お風呂も広く綺麗でした。。。
到着した瞬間、中国語の看板があり驚きました。
以前は、到着するとスタッフの方が笑顔で、荷物を下ろすのを手伝ってくれましたが、入口のスタッフの方は、到着した私たちをちらっと確認したあと、その場から動かず、ただ眺めているだけでした。なんのために、そこに待機しているのか・・・
なんだか、このホテルがおかしいことになっていると感じたのですが、そのあとも驚きの連続でした。とりあえず高級感を出し、サービスは二の次。確かに、内装は少し豪華になったかもしれませんが、部屋の電球が切れていたり、飾ってある絵が傾いていたり、掃除が行き届いてないところがあったり、本当の意味での高級感とは程遠いホテルになってしまいました。値段は高いのに・・・特に大浴場は浴槽・脱衣所両方とも本当に不衛生でした。外国の方が多いので、スタッフも多国籍。（もちろん素晴らしい対応をしてくださる方もいました。）バイキングはまるでフードコートのような雑多な空間でした。夕食の蟹とステーキは、以前と同様に立派なものが出ていて、美味しかったです。
大人数の家族で泊まるには良い部屋があったり、雪質やコースが良かったり、長年家族ここにきている理由があり、思い出がたくさんある場所なのですが、来年からは他の選択肢を考えようと家族会議中です。

Reviewed Dec 31, 2019APPI Grand is perfect if you want to hit the slopes. The Gondola and Quad lift are just in front of the hotel, and the hotel has plenty of lockers and excellent ski and snowboard rental service with good quality equipment.
The Wifi is free but gets very slow towards the evening.
The onsen inside the hotel is ok, the included onsen 5 minutes away is great. Sad that you have to pay for the Gym and the Pool (even as hotel guests).
There are many restaurants and a food court - however, none of them is suitable for vegetarians. There is a nearby (30min on foot) Lawson convenience store, if everything else fails.

Reviewed Dec 26, 2019Ski in/ski out is great, buffet food is average, but the smell in lobby during dinner time is not so good, the smell of grilled foods is everywhere, make it feel kind of cheap. make sure you did reservation of dinner 1 week before otherwise you will have no choice but having buffet everyday with exactly same dishes.
However the snow condition this year/month (2019/12) is pretty good, for a warmer winter this year we got very good powder snow to play with.
The hot spring is also good, but kind lack of Japanese feeling due to full of foreign visitors (most of them are Chinese/Taiwanese), it will be better if the manager of hot spring make sure all the visitors do know the rule of Japanese hot spring manners.

Reviewed Dec 24, 2019Worst hotel ever!! Super unorganized and under trained staff. It has been a disaster from the moment we arrived. The suite package they sold online was for one person only and the second person will be charged more than double (without even getting another room but charged 300+/night?) upon check in. House keeping never answered. The hotel bus to Morioka was scheduled twice a day without reservation and we asked if we can get seated. Hotel answered no problem but it turned out they don’t even have seats available (80+ people getting on a 50 seater. People are setting on the bus floor like refugees). I sent my snowboard bag to Haneda airport and paid but they didn’t even write the way bill so it never got there. For people who consider coming, please be extremely careful. It’s better to arrange things on your own!!

Overall enjoy the stay at grand appi main building except the furniture is outdated with lots of stains on sofa & carpet.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2019It is a pretty dated hotel with nothing around. The staff try really hard but seem worn and jaded. The service is excellent despite that and they will literally move mountains for you if you asked for it. The suite we stayed in had a foul smell coming from the drainhole of the second shower. Otherwise the furniture is old and a little worn out.
The public onsen is OK with good water and facilities but the private onsen is not of acceptable quality. The walls and ceiling are black with mold and water damage everywhere.The garden it faces is sparse and almost dead. I don't mean hibernate for winter dead but more like withered and desiccated dead.
Meals are OK with a decent selection. The soft serve is shamefully poor quality for being in Japan and the scrambled eggs are powdered eggs. Bear in mind there are no other meal options in the immediate vicinity and they know it too.Meals can be ruinously expensive. Overall for the price you pay I struggle to see the value if compared with other resorts in Japan. The snowboarding and the mountain is fantastic if your timing is right but everything else is mediocre in the extreme.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2019The hotel feels like American Colleges built in the 80s, complete with piped in 80s music and cafeteria trays. If you get a room slope side, you can see skiers etc, but honestly who stays in the room in a ski resort. Take the room that faces the carpark much more spacious for about the same price. The public bath within the hotel is always crowded and has lots of stray hair on the floor (and you can't wear footwear in the dressing room area ewwww). Take the shuttle to the outdoor onsen, it's about 3 minutes on the bus. Super convenient, and you'll have a much better experience. Hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. For families, the buffet is the best way to go for dinner; we tried the korean bbq recommended by many travelers, and it was disappointing. The meat was good, but you'll have to pay to top up lettuce and sauce (who does that in a korean restaurant?). And the portion is quite small, not enough to share if you have kids with you. we ended up ordering meals for the kids, which is exorbitantly priced (any ala carte is for this hotel), so it was quite a pain. Breakfast was great; we usually fill up and skip lunch.
