Provider-sourced guest reviews.
location was great and close to everything we wanted to see and do. free cookies in the lobby were a nice bonus, but all around it was a nice place.
I made a mistake on the reservation and booked us one day short. So they were nice enough to give us the same room for a night...only they charged me $75 more than what I was paying. At least that's what the lady at the desk said. Then at checkout we find out it was over $100 more and I said "hang on that's higher than what she told me the other day" and she brushed it off and said "yeah that's your rate." At that point what could I do because we'd already slept in the room. I understand I made the mistake but I don't feel like they had to keep jacking the rate up for someone that already booked a stay with them. Wasn't the most shining moment of the trip for me.
The room was very clean and the beds were so very comfortable. The location was okay. I had to pay for a Lyft to Conor’s field and i felt like a shuttle should have been provided since I am handicaped and on a budget.
When we checked in the hotel the two young ladies that were there were not very nice. When we checked out the young lady that helped us was really nice. I also had to pay for overnight parking and it should have been included in the price of the hotel stay.
Convenient location to Coors field for a concert, friendly staff and helpful. Customer service (as in human beings) is always appreciated. Walking distance to everything we needed.
Nothing really.
one room with 2 queen beds was great. location, staff and cleanliness wonderful.
king room - i had specifically asked for a quiet room away from elevator, ice machine, mechanical...noise. they put us right off the elevator, right next to stairway and outside our window was some adjacent company that had nonstop noisy HVAC and a crumby view out our window to boot! we didnt have time to switch rooms as we had reservations for dinner and just dealt with it.
The location.
Check in was horrible, why do you have only one employee doing check in for the day? The line was long, backed up and check in took over 20 minutes only to find out our room wasn’t ready. Why do we have to pay for parking in the hotel garage? That should be part of the high hotel rate that I paid, clearly not a good value. Our room wasn’t ready not ready until almost 2 hours later which I should have that time deducted from my rate because the hotel did not commit to the 4:00 check in time which is very unprofessional service.
The location was great! The room and facilities were clean.
A/c didn't cool great at night. That is my only complaint
Location, hospitality, quietness
Conditioner is too loud, especially at night
great room - modern, clean, comfy beds. friendly, helpful staff! nice lobby area, bar and restaurant. appreciated the free drinks with our stay and the view from our room, location was close to everything via the free bus and train station.
coffee was weak. parking was expensive. hard to get a full size truck in the parking lot. pillows not the best.
Clean, fun amenities, nice staff
I only stayed one night, and the only comment I have is that there should be sheer curtains behind the blackout drapes
Arrived via package with Canyon Spirit but had booked a 2nd night directly with the hotel website. When we checked in with JOSH, we told him that our first night was with Canyon Spirit and we were staying a second night booked directly with the hotel. We asked if we could keep the same room. He took our room keys, pretended to look up our reservation and then handed them back and said we were all good. Turns out we weren’t “all good” bc the next day we were gone all day on a tour of the Rockies and came back to our room keys not working. We had to get in line with all the other people checking in and as soon as we got to the front of the line JOSH told us he had to step away and then disappeared for several minutes. When he came back we informed him our key cards weren’t working. He fixed the issue and handed our key cards back. I came back down to buy something from the commissary and while standing inline I heard JOSH telling people that they get a $5 credit to use each day, free beer at the Ambler and a free espresso w/breakfast. NONE of that was explained to us by JOSH when we checked in or had our keycards fixed. When I discussed this with JOSH he claimed he told us we had to check out and check back in. When I pointed out he did not in fact say that, he then claimed no memory because he has “400 conversations” a day. I went back to my room and asked my husband if he remembers JOSH telling us we needed to check out and check back in and that we get credit for the commissary, etc my husband confirmed NONE of that was explained to us. I called JOSH to discuss further and he was not interested in righting his wrongs or apologize or anything. After the most awesome customer experience I’ve ever had taking a Canyon Spirit trip, I expected their business partners to show a little customer service. JOSH failed and doubled down on his failures which was incredibly disappointing to witness. The room itself was fine. The lobby is cool. I appreciated the location but not sure I would stay again if JOSH is still working there.
The pillows were too big
We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Indigo Denver Downtown Union Station during our trip to see Lord Huron at Red Rocks in June. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s an easy walk to Union Station, which made taking the train to and from the airport incredibly convenient. There are also tons of great restaurants nearby, and it was an easy walk to the Red Rocks shuttle pickup and drop-off, which made concert day completely stress-free. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed after long days exploring Denver. A special thank you to Natalya, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her kindness and exceptional service really stood out and made an already great stay even better. Overall, this was an awesome hotel in a perfect location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re in Denver.
my stay is amazing and i enjoy this hotel
Great location. walkable distance to coors field. Inviting modern decor. Parking was simple and easy to do. Great view of coors field!
Beds were lumpy. Pillows were not clean. Walls had stains. Table tops had not be cleaned.
Nice hotel in a good location. Room was a good size with large bed and everything we needed. Friendly staff.
All was good although breakfast options weren’t great so probably wouldn’t get breakfast included if I booked again.
Horrible check-in experience because of lack of communication regarding parking. Please implement signage or actual hotel staff at the front door to communicate with incoming guests. The person working at the front door works for the parking deck, not the hotel. They told us the parking deck located at the hotel entrance was full. Actually, there were plenty of spaces available when i walked through it 10 min later after parking across the street, at their sister lot. I ended up having to pay for parking twice, both at the sister lot, as well as at the hotel; unnecessarily spending an extra $30 on parking during my stay. Completely ruins the hotel stay to start with a parking scam. Nobody at the hotel cared. I brought it up to 2 front desk agents who flippantly told me that “they don’t own the parking deck”… Then why is the parking deck attendant greeting guests at YOUR front door entrance and misdirecting me to another deck?
Hôtel très agréable, chambre confortable. Personnel très courtois et attentif.
Clim très bruyante.
Was very clean! Staff was excellent. Enjoyed having the restaurant and bar nearby.
A bit pricey
Great location but A/C was extremely loud and room noise was also loud from other rooms and hall
N/A
Coffee machine not plugged in and awkward dentist so behind the fridge
Pretty minimal place but nice enough. Very close to Union Station and Coors Field. The one thing I would change if I could is the “barn doors” for the bathrooms. If you like hearing what goes on in there then this is the place for you. Service was good, place was clean.
La situation L'accueil Le petit déjeuner Calme de jour comme de nuit À côté de la gare
Le plafond en béton de la chambre
Incredible location, right next to Union Station but in a quiet corner without a lot of traffic. Really encourages you to get out and explore. Also want to mention the beautiful lobby, fast elevators that I never waited long for, clean room, incredibly comfortable bed, nice views, and best of all, the value - this was one of the better priced hotels I could find in downtown for this particular night. Steps from Coors Field, Denver Chophouse (my favorite steakhouse in Denver), Blake St and its many bars and venues, and not too far from Larimer Square for fine dining.
My husband and I had already stayed there several times. The entire staff is always very friendly, and the place is beautiful. It is very convenient for accessing the train and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, and the shower is good. We will be back.
Lovely, well-appointed room with great views of Coors Field and Denver Union Station, within walking distance of downtown experiences. Ambler Restaurant breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared, and the service was exemplary. Highly recommend the hotel for a memorable visit!
This was a last minute trip and the hotel we wanted was not available and so we booked this hotel which was in a great location - right next to Union Station. Front desk staff was curteous and the check-in was quick. Unfortunately room was sub-par - very stuffy - either got too hot or too cold at night; uncomfortable bed and pillows and we did not have a single night of good sleep. The room had a nice view, but there was no closet space or dresser to keep your clothes and you literally had to live out of your suitcase; the bathroom had sliding doors, but it refused to stay closed and would always slide open. Housekeeping is not offered daily unless you specifically request it i.e. call them or stop by the front desk every morning and ask for it (if you forget to ask for it in the morning as we did one day, you come back to a room that is not cleaned, with dirty towels, etc.). Once the room was not cleaned despite our asking. They charge a $28+ resort/amenity fee (not sure why??) and offer a bunch of useless credits. Overall a less than ideal stay.
Location
Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Union Station and close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. I had a very clean, spacious and. comfortable room. There is a nice restaurant on site. The staff was very proffesional, helpful and courteous. I highly recommend it!
Location. Modern. Clean
The location of this hotel is near perfect. Train to/from airport is across the street yet you will not hear noise from the station. Easy walking to tons of restaurants and shops, including the Whole Foods 5 minutes away. Staff is helpful, the lobby is large enough to hold little meetings with your crew, and the attached restaurant is more than decent (especially for cocktails). The only issue was with internal noise. While concrete pillars in the room make it pretty solid, hallway noise was more than favored, which bled into the room.
Muy buena ubicación; extremadamente amplios, con muchísimos detalles muy chéveres como la copa de vino o cerveza diaria, el crédito diario para sacar algo del minibar y los postres diarios. Además excelente te servicio del personal.
Location is fantastic! The hotel was clean and quiet and the front staff are amazing, especially Oscar! Parking was convenient and safe especially for attending a Rockies game nearby. The extra amenities were very nice.
Hotel gym was small
clean bed and facilities, complimentary beer and wine was nice as well.
views and location were lackluster for the price. Online reviews boasted great views of the city. I paid for a deluxe king and the view was of the back side of the building with a drainage pipe and a very dead decomposed bird, did not make for a very romantic view at all. Parking was extremely expensive, parked across the street for less than half the prove the hotel charged for self parking. Noise levels were not great, could hear people talking next door and the heater was extremely loud. Fan in the bathroom just constantly runs and does not turn off
Great location, nice decor, helpful staff
The HVAC sounded like a jet landing in the room. Needs to be fixed
Stayed one night in town to visit family member. Rode A train from airport to Union Station. Hotel indigo is a short save walk from Union Station. Hotel seemed newer. Has a bar and restaurant. A free beer and or wine at the bar along with homemade just baked brownies in the lobby. Was walking distance to several restaurants. Very safe area, very few homeless, police around. Coors Field is a half block away, Ball Arena a 15 minute walk. Good service, very nice room. Very affordable compared to surrounding hotels.
location cleaness the bed was comfy
the door of the restroom, I did not feel the privacy
This hotel has a great location in Denver and looks the part - its clean, modern, and spacious. Sadly however its let down by a few issues: - Rooms are not serviced until day 3, so if you are staying for 3 days (like I did), your room doesn't get cleaned. - the air conditioning is extremely loud so if you keep it on at night, it will wake you up - the shower has no water pressure. There are a few buttons on the shower but none seem to do anything - there's a daily service charge (not sure what for) but part of this is supposed to be a free drink in the bar (I never recieved one) and $5 credit in the hotel shop. The irony is that nothing in the store has a price on it and lo & behold every item I bought cost more than $5 The worst part was when I travelled home to find I have been billed for my stay, despite pre-paying via my travel agent. I raised this pending charge whilst I was there and was told it would disappear from my card when I checked out. The charge didnt disappear and I am now struggling to make contact with the hotel and struggling to get my money back. The bar at this hotel is great, and its a shame that the hotel is so poor because I will be returning to Denver in the future for more Broncos games. I just wont be staying here.
Great location. Clean overall. Courteous staff
Lighting in room (#650) was very spare and poor. The ceiling in the room was unfinished, showing grey concrete slabs and done moisture patches. It darkened a room that slready had very poor lighting. Charging connections were very poor and outdated.
The location around around union station restaurant lots of bars.
The restaurant , my steak was cold.
Clean room
Air conditioner was loud
Staff was very friendly, my room was very clean
Location to train station, Very Clean Rooms, Staff is friendly and helpful
No pool
Staff was exceptional and location was prime. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel bar and restaurant were also super enjoyable with the kindest bartenders and wait staff.
The only issue we had was that the rack holding the shampoo, conditioner, and soap fell off of the wall. The rack was held on just by double tape. That was the only issue.
Front desk staff is critical to your impression of a hotel. We did not feel welcome.
The offer of credit toward purchases to offset the $25 fee were insufficient, just causing you to spend more money in the hotel.
The property was in a good location.
The young lady working on October 4th in the morning was rude and immediately had an attitude before anything was even said. She should maybe find a new job that brings her joy.
Great location
Clean with restaurant and bar
Stayed at Hotel Indigo to catch an early train out of Union Station on the next morning. Very convenient location. Also a really nice Whole Foods Market right nearby, so we were set for a meal or two and some snacks. Friendly staff, large and comfortable lounge area for hanging out.
$45/night for parking is crazy. I understand that downtown parking is at a premium and this probably compares to other downtown parking garages, but guests should at least get a discount if not free. This is not unique to Hotel Indigo. I have a real problem with ANY hotel charging its guests for parking. We opted for a nearby lot using SpotHero, which was still in a secured garage and WAY cheaper.
Beautiful hotel. Quick check in.
The location was great. We were visiting for a Broncos game. We walked to Union Station with no issues. Our room was not ready when we checked in so we were able to check our bags at the front desk. When we did check in after the game and dinner, the room was clean and comfortable.
Great location, good parking, very nice staff. Modern hotel in good shape.
Price is high.
Staff is strong even being shorted staffed on a holiday.
Short staffed longer check in time.
Such a nice and clean hotel. Make sure to upgrade to the city view, its ana amazing view to make up to each morning. The room was clean and smelled good. The only issue is the sliding door in the restroom didn't always stay closed.
Room with an amazing Downtown view.
Nothing.
Very clean, view was amazing (free upgrade), comfortable bed, great shower, amazing breakfast, walk distance from Amtrak and union station, interesting option to take the bus on the 16th . CVS and Whole Foods less than one block away
We stayed on the same hotel during the week and we loved! Now we stayed during weekend/ holiday and the neighborhood is not the best, a lot of people sleeping on the streets nearby… if you want downtown is perfect.
Location is ideal
Awesome location and very clean hotel. Love the layout and the views of downtown.
Nothing
Great location, very clean, amazing breakfast! We arrived at 9am and the room was already available!
Location to trains and central Denver.
Nothing to speak about.
Staff was great. Location was great as well.
