The Retreat has everything you need to truly relax. The room is minimalistic and very calming with huge windows facing trees. The food is one of best meals I ever had. The staff is very kind and thoughtful.

The room only has a shower. You can use the Onsen, but you can‘t enter with tattoos that can’t be covered with seals.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The space was beautiful and surrounded by nature, creating a very peaceful atmosphere. We especially loved the common area, with hammocks inviting you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. One of our favorite things was the selection of analogue pastimes available for guests: board games, books, musical instruments, coloring activities, and tea available whenever you wanted. It was such a lovely touch and made the stay feel especially cozy and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable for a family of 4. Everything was thoughtfully designed to make you feel at home. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel of our trip. We would happily come back!

Tolles Retreat mitten im Grünen. geräumiges Zimmer (ehr Appartement) mit bequemem Bett und großem Bad. Der großzügige Onsen mit Innen- und Außenbecken ist perfekt zum entspannen. Tee und Kaffee sind inklusive und können mit Blick auf den Teich genossen werden. Das Dinner-Menu war super lecker und das Frühstücks-Angebot vielfältig. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

Meals very in quality and taste: Japanese dinner and Western breakfast were so delicious— surprisingly the western dinner was weird and not particularly tasty and the Japanese Breakfast was terrible- salty was the only flavor, food from packs little made freshly on site. Tofu was old.

A beautiful getaway from Tokyo. The staff is wonderful and delightful. I enjoyed birding in the property trails and we both love the onsen.

Very relaxing

It takes about five minutes to get from the main road to the hotel entrance, but a shuttle service is provided to take guests to the reception for check in. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, as the property is nestled right within a forest. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious, if you happen to oversleep, the staff will even call to remind you not to miss breakfast. Complimentary coffee is available at the cafe, and you can also grind your own coffee in your room. I also tried the shiatsu massage at the hotel, and the service was highly professional.

部屋にのシャワー・トイレ室、コンクリート打ちっぱなしで、日本人には殺風景すぎて、 壁にお花の絵でも描いてくれれば気分良くなると思います。

ディナーのポークはもっと美味しく焼けたのではないかと思う。料理は凝っているけど、そう感じた。 レストランのテラスの下が駐車場(搬入口？)なのも少し残念だった。リトリートなので音の設計は大事だと思う

We loved our experience at Före. We are a family of 4, with teenagers. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and we simply loved it. The hotel is in a forest and has a modern design that allows you to experience the nature fully with its big windows that can open. We loved the onsen! It was so clean all the time. There was free and good quality coffee all day at the cafe. We also had the fine dining experience and recommend it.

お客様ひとりひとりに向き合って施設のご案内やサービス提供をされていて、人のあたたかさを感じました。海外スタッフも多い印象で、日本語がやや理解できない点はありましたが、丁寧に対応しようという志が感じられて、優しい空間です。

海外スタッフが多い点で、コミュニケーションがやや取れてないです。電話対応の行き違いはありました。

モダンで欧州リゾート風。でもサービスは日本的で結構細やか。施設はカフェラウンジなど個人的に好みのど真ん中でした。

特になし。部屋のガラスに雨だれの跡が残っていたことくらい。

温泉の横にモーター室の様な部屋があり、モーターがうるさかった。素敵な温泉なのに、もったいないです。 夕食をサーブしてくれた従業員の方の香水がきつかったです。お料理が運ばれて来た時に、料理の香りと混ざって気持ち悪くなりました。お料理は美味しかったのに、残念です。

Le camere non sono all’altezza del prezzo proposto e data la posizione remota e il prezzo mi sarei aspettata di poter avere un taxi prenotato dalla struttura (con opportuno preavviso di 24 ore) che invece mi ha consigliato gli autobus.

Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und hatte einen wunderbaren Blick in die Natur. Das Hotel liegt umgeben von viel Natur. Das Frühstüxksbüffet war westlich und lecker, vom Abendessen war ich vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis etwas enttäuscht, weil die Portionen sehr klein waren.

A charming and beautifully designed hotel set inside a peaceful cedar forest. The minimalist Japandi (Japanese-Scandinavian) style creates a truly serene atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience rather than just a place to stay.

The food at the hotel was a bit expensive.

Naturen i området var smuk. Hotellet havde potentialet til noget. Men der blev gjort meget lidt.

Maden. Aftensmaden var latterlig. Skulle betale for drikkevarer selvom halvpensionen. Onsen var råden og glat frygtelig støj. Snavset. Alt var gammelt og ikke vedligeholdt. Alt voksede vildt, så kunne ikke se bjergene eller andet. Bedømmelsen på stedet passer ikke.

Everything! Especially the little thought through details (architecture & service). We had an amazing 1 night stay, with onsen, breakfast, free coffee, making my own tea with fresh herbs and flowers, nature sounds right outside our window etc.

The location is unreal: lost in the middle of the woods, surrounded by peace and quiet. Room is wide open into the forest. Rich breakfast buffet and good choice for dinner. (maybe they could find a more flexible formula for stays longer than 2 nights).

I loved the everything there. The location, Lodging places, food and services... it was the highlight of our trip.

Beautiful grounds, comfortable room with an amazing view. Loved the onsen. Breakfast was great. The staff was incredibly kind, free coffee and tea.

Restaurant was ok, I think I expected a little more from this dinner.

ボードゲームができる施設、無料ドリンクや軽食、さらには靴下までもらえて特別感があった。 温泉の露天風呂が最高だった。 朝食がとても美味しかった。

部屋を案内してくれたスタッフにどこで靴を脱げばいいのか聞き、靴下の状態で部屋の説明を聞いていたが、その間スタッフ自身はずっと土足で部屋の中を歩いていて不快に感じた。 1日目の15時から空調を10度設定でつけていたが、その日の就寝時間23時頃まで湿気がすごくてずっと暑かった。

Es ist ein wahres Retreat! Mitten im Wald, kostenlos sehr leckerer Cappuccino, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, tolles Personal, Zimmer mit Blick waldblick.

Отель расположен в прекрасном месте, территория очень красивая, и завтрак довольно разнообразный. Природа вокруг включая насекомых и лягушек, которые проживают прямо на территории

В погоне за дизайном отель оказался неудобным, много скользких мест, острые углы у мебели об которые бьёшься пальцами ног, потрёпанный онсен. Кофе который заявлен как бесплатный, не вкусный и постоянно перегретый, хотя делается на прекрасной кофемашине.

夜、森に少しでもライトアップがあったらいいなと思いました。 真っ暗になると、カーテン閉めちゃうので。 せめて10時くらいまでとか・・・ 野生の生き物に迷惑ですかね・・・。

Toplocatie om volledig tot rust te komen. De onsen is een absolute meerwaarde en zorgt voor een authentieke Japanse ervaring. Het hotel ligt midden in de natuur, waardoor je echt kunt ontspannen. Daarnaast werden we overal vriendelijk en behulpzaam ontvangen door het personeel. Een aanrader voor wie even wil ontsnappen aan de drukte van de stad. ♨️🌿

Mooie en comfortabel ingerichte kamer. De natuurlijke uitstraling past perfect bij de sfeer van het hotel. Hier en daar zijn enkele gebruikssporen zichtbaar, waardoor een kleine opfrissing welkom zou zijn. 😊🏨🌿

I would like to especially thank Su for the wonderful hospitality. I absolutely loved the room—it was incredibly spacious. The coffee machine was a great touch, and the room was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended!

Hotel is really beautiful. Room is big. Onsen is really nice. Breakfast doesn't have a huge array of options but everything is good and quality.

The staff seems clueless and sometimes it feels no one is in charge and everyone is a trainee. Hotel is really far from the bus station and you have to go up a lot. They don't tell you that and don't pro actively ask you if you need pickup (even though the service exists). This is not acceptable at this price point. Then when you inquire how you can arrange the next pickups only phone is available but as foreign tourists we dont have phone. They said send an email but no one ever answered, so everytime you have to go up with a small child under the rain... Even if we complained no one ever came back to us, this level of service is terrible given that the hotel is really expensive... Carpet in the living room should really be refreshed or deep cleaned.

強いて言うのであれば、ディナーの接客クオリティーや提供スピードに多少の問題があるのと、温泉に入る際タトゥーシールを貼らなくてはならないこと、すべてのお客様のことを考えての判断なのはわかるが今の時代あまりにも不適切である。

This hotel is a beautiful oasis surrounded by lush green scenery. I had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed using the Onsen facilities. The staff were all very lovely and accommodating and I enjoyed exceptionally food at both breakfast and dinner at their Woodside dining restaurant!

המלון מקסים, מעוצב יפה נקי ומטופח בתוך יער קסום. השירות נהדר ומפנק, החדר היה נעים ויפה עם נוף ליער. הארוחות היו מצויינת, ארוחת שף בערב ובבוקר. המיקום מצויין, קרוב לתחנת אוטובוס, ויש גם הסעה אם צריך האיזור תחנת האוטובוס. המקום קרוב יחסית להתחלת הסיבוב המעגל בהאקונה. במקום מרחצאות קטנות, לובי לאיזור החדרים שאפשר לשבת בו ברוגע, ולובי כללי עם קפה איכותי ותה חינם כל היום.

It was a beautiful setting and wonderful architecture. Wonderful staff and plentiful and interesting meals. Our first night’s room was very lovely. We stayed an extra night. That room was fine, but not as beautiful as the room we had the first night.

Onsen was a great experience, products in the rooms and onsen were loving, breakfast great, room very comfortable, idyllic spot

I think getting from the station on bus can be quite hectic with luggage, it always seemed to be super packed with people and taxis in the area are limited

המבנה של המסעדה והקבלה מקסים. המבנה של חדר הקפה מקסים החדרים גדולים ויפייפיים ושתולים בלב היער. אבל. המקום פשוט לא מתוחזק. בריכת האונסן החיצונים נראית רע והעץ מרקיב. החלונות (ויש המון כאלה במבנה הזה) פשוט לא נקיים וזה ממש מבעאס לראות איך מקום נפלא כזה שוקע לבינוניות בגלל תחזוקה ירודה. ארוחת הבוקר מצויינת. ארוחת הערב טובה. כטבעוני וצמחונית צמחוני היו לנו פחות אופציות אבל הם ממש השתדלו.

2回目の宿泊です。客室や美味しいコーヒーが飲めたりする点が気に入っていて、お部屋やお風呂では今回も気持ちよく過ごせました。

ホスピタリティが細やかではなかった点が気になりました。 夕食を楽しみにしていて、メインの前まではとても美味しくいただいたのですが、メインのお肉がいまいちでした。付け合わせのキャベツも芯の部分が硬く食べられませんでした。また、こちらの確認不足だったことが原因ではありますが、フリードリンクのような文言が書いてあるドリンクメニューを見させられて、飲み放題？みたいなことを言われたのでフリーだと思っていたのに、結局有料だった点も残念でした。 夜中にどうしてもなことがありフロントに電話をかけましたが、5回くらいかけてやっと繋がりました。もし夜間は連絡が繋がらない時間帯があるのであればあらかじめチェックインの際に一言欲しかったです。 高いホスピタリティを求めるのであればここではないのかなと今回感じました。

Amazing lighting and art, friendly staff that remember my name from previous visits, amazing breakfast beyond any other hotel I’ve experienced. The rooms are cozy and truly a retreat. Onsen water quality is exceptional

Пожалуй, один из лучших отелей, в которых мне довелось останавливаться. Благодаря транспортной доступности до отеля легко добраться: всего 5 миру от остановки автобуса. Отель расположен в густом лесу, на территории дорожки для прогулок и масса удобств: Онсен, в том числе, с бассейном на улице, кострище, гамаки и пр. Отель предлагает угощения в течение всего дня: кофе, снэки, саке. Великолепный вид на горы, в частности, с номера с печью. Определено рекомендую.

Gorgeous Japandi design. The restaurant in particular impressed not just for its architecture but also the quality of the food. One of the best breakfast buffets ever. Food was refined and freshly made. The gift of custom socks to guests was a nice quirky touch. Practical and memorable.

Reliance on staff who did not necessarily communicate effectively in English though they were hired to serve foreign guests.
