It was close to couple of tourist spots.
It was a bit confusing wherein we book 2 adults and 2 kids and they only gave 1 room with 1 bed. How would 2 adults and 2 kids fit in that? They said kids ate free to stay but they have no place to sleep? And much more I booked it because the breakfast was added but the kids didn’t have breakfast as well. This is very disappointing. I paid much for this kind of service. Not even satisfying. They need to change this.
Lekker centraal gelegen en in de fraaie koloniale stijl. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. We werden gratis naar de bus terminaal gebracht. Kregen een lijstje met attracties in de omgeving.
Ontbijt was erg formeel. Weinig keus.
Staff were very polite and helpful. Location is very accessible.
Parking can be a challenge as it is an old town after all and can be understandable as such.
The location and excellent service.
Saw baby ‘roaches in the bathroom. Not enough bathroom necessities
The location, its very close to Calle Crisologo
The standard room area is quite small. Considering its an old Hotel so its ok.
Breakfast is delicious, and the location is amazing walking distance to Calle Crisologo
The toilet bowl is not properly working.
The property is old charm. The room floors are all old wood and creaks with the age. Unique ambiance and the breakfast was great.
Location
The hotel is lack of maintenance
We had a great week at Ciudad Fernandina. The breakfast were fresh and tasty. The location was perfect, the hotel is centrally located to all the sites, museums, and markets. We had the best sleep in all our time in the Philippines in the comfortable bedding and amenities. The staff was excellent. They helped when needed and let us just be otherwise. They all shared big smiles and a welcoming attitude. Thank you.
Very convenient, close to Calle Salcedo. Excellent breakfast and amenities. Courteous staff I’ll stay here again when in Vigan.
The breakfast served was delicious. Staff very attentive and helpful. Overall a very pleasant overnight stay.
This hotel has limited amenities. The breakfast served was below average. The drinking water was not provided in the room instead gonna get from water despenser outside which usually empty bottle.
The hotel is very close to the historic streets and sites. Overall a great location
Close to Calle Crisologo
Lovey old small Spanish style hotel with a great staff.
Location and friendly staff
There’s no hot water. Internet was terrible. Hair dryer keeps on dying. I think there’s no exhaust in the bathroom cause obviously can’t find any button for it.
Very nice location and beautiful hotel
Rooms could use some renovation
i book a room based on images shown in the sites, upon check in i was told the room is in the attic with a very small floor window, which is totally different from the pics described in expedia.
Clean and comfortable place
Was good no elevator was on third floor
Service
Walking distance from Calle Crisologo
It has no kitchen of its own so they dont serve lunch or dinner. However; there are a lot of restaurants nearby so this is not an issue.
Love the location, just a street away from Calle Crisologo, not too near from all the crowd and the noise too so we slept comfortably. Loved our room, bed was nice and big, aircon was cool and everything else worked fine. Staff were corteous and proffessional. No problems during our stay. Also loved the buffet breakfast!
There was no gated parking so our car was just parked on the streetside. Good thing not many cars and calesas pass by the area, i'd be upset if something happened to our car. No security guard to look out for the parked cars too
Breakfast is okay!
The room and wifi connection!
Great area for the history
Proximity to Calle Crisologo. Good AC. Excellent breakfast.
Room We got was quite small and it could use a little air freshener. Other wise hotel is nice
Friendly staffs, location, comfortable to sleep, cleanliness
Nothing
Perfect location. Real value for money
Parking is a challenge
Our visit in Vigan brings back the nostalgic of the time I left Manila. It has been 33 years ago when we last visited Manila and did not have the time to deeply explore our mother land. Now, I can share the experienced that my wife and I had to our children and grandchildren when we get back to the State. They will definitely would want to come back to Manila and visit Vigan, the best place ever in Manila!!!
I wish the restaurants along the Crisologo streets were opened 24 hours. This is better than Las Vegas in my heart.
The hotel is superbly finished. Wood everywhere, well lit and great overall design. But beyond the building the staff were absolutely excellent. Nothing was too much, they were ALWAYS on hand and went the extra mile more than once. We were even offered a native delicacy for breakfast on our last day ‘Tupig’. Great stay. We will certainly be back.
Location, ambience, staff, cleanliness, comfort, hot shower and pressure
Airconditioning worked but little control over temperature and fan.
Location, the ancient feel of the hotel.
Limited parking spaces, food did not appeal to the palate.
Food and the crew are all friendly
Few parking space
We’ve staying in this hotel everytime we are in Vigan. Brings back good memories. It is well maintained. Staff are friendly. It is walking distance from Calle Crisologo but still far enough not to be disturbed by the noise from the new bars that sprung.
Wifi isnt working
Walking distance accessible...near calle crisologo..classic and nice place...
I love the staff in this facility. They helped with my room, my transportation, and suggested places to visit. Thank you for making my vacation so amazing.
Clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable about the area. Facility is clean and well maintained.
They are accommodating and provides options if I wanted to upgrade or down grade. I also think this is one of the best location. Its near the convention center, the main tourist area and the access roads at the side and back.
This is the second time I stayed this year. The first year I stayed, we were served the free breakfast a-la-carte. The second time it was buffet. but I felt the food a la carte is much better with more options compared to the buffet. I was told by the staff that they do buffet if they have high booking. But I don't think it should be a reason to lower the food options. During a la carte breakfast, you have options for a Filipino and I think American or Continental breakfast. Another minor issue is that we arrived early and asked for an early check-in. They told me they will call me if something comes up. They called me by 2PM which is already the actual time to checking so it is no longer necessary. It could have been great if they provided status earlier on. Lastly not all their published number is answered. most of the time it only keeps on ringing.
Hotel itself was beautiful! Rooms were clean and the staff were professional. Just a small note to the staff: the bathroom we had in our room had an improperly fitted shower door. A lot of water leaks out. May I suggest installing a rubber seal on the glass edges to prevent water leaking out. It would surely improve guest experience. Thank you!
location is fantastic, in the heart of Vigan, right by Calle Crisologo. The front of the hotel and the patio are beautiful. Breakfast was nice.
room was very cramped and a bit dated.
we love how close this was to calle crisoslogo
the hotel staffs where very accomodating.. the hotel was very clean and relaxing.
The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice.
The hotel in general was very clean but I can not say so when it comes to the room itself especially the bathroom. It was also a bit musty because there was no window just glas bricks.
Like: location is perfect Dislikes: - cleanliness - room needs maintenance - aircon was very noisy, i believe need to fix
The location very accessible.
Everything is walkable, it’s very convenient
location is great!

Small size of room
Had small issue in that room booked was super small and had to upgrade to junior suite at a cost. Junior suite was nice and spacious but didn’t have refrigerator as advertised. Had to ask staff to move one into room. Hotel advertises free WiFi in room but only location it works is in lobby. Breakfast was good.
Staff are accommodating 🤗 The place is just a walk away from the famous Calle Crisologo. Kalesa ride for tours and trikes are near the area as well. Bar Tech is a step away from the hotel so if ya'll want to have fun and drink the night away till 2am it would be very safe and convenient to walk back to the hotel after a fun night out.
Rooms too small. Corner room was cool but did not have WiFi access as it didn’t reach. No fridge was annoying. But property was cool location great, staff excellent
Pretty looking property, friendly staff and only a small walk to the town centre. But room had no mini fridge to store drinks and they need softer towels.
Stayed at this place for two nights and it was great! I love the room, cold and cozy altho I hope there is a tub that I can soak myself in but shower is good as well. Food is amazing, feels like "lutong bahay", love it! The staff were friendly and helpful. Close to Crisologo street just walking distance. Can hear the noise in the hallway but not that bad. Overall had a great stay and definitely going back there again and will recommend the place!
absolutely perfect! kahit kasama ko yung 2 dog ko hustle free lahat dahil sa ciudad fernandina. pet friendly sila and super bait ng mga staff. super linis ng hotel at super lapit sa action ng vigan.
The location was perfect, just a few blocks away from everything.
Updated hotel grounds is well kept. I did have issues with WiFi in my room and around the grounds, but thankfully I had bought my own pocket WiFi. I appreciate that they have a laundry service and can call in a manicurist/pedicurist in your room. I stayed in second floor where many guests smoked on the veranda. Would be great to have that door closed off so that the cigarette smoke is not in the hallways. Staff were always friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this place again as it is close to Calle Crisologo.
Had a nice stay. The room is just fit for 2 persons, it's very clean and has a very comfy bed. Would need a bit of bathroom improvement coz the shower area's drain was so slow it floods a little. They served good breakfast. Location is literally only a few steps from Calle Crisologo. Such a lovely hotel overall.
not enough space to move around and the air condition blows straight towards our head and body. Breakfast is Ok. Disappointed that the basic room doesn't have an electric kettle, we paid $50.00 per night and it should come with electric kettle. Staff is OK. Room is OK too.
Gute Zimmer, gepflegtes bzw. Renoviertes Gebäude, Lange Wartezeit beim Frühstück- besser und schneller wäre ein Frühstücksbuffet. Liegt direkt in der Altstadt. Restaurant a bit hit and miss but otherwise the hotel is a delight. Great location and the rooms very nice. Suggest paying a bit more and booking the Junior Suite which is not really a suite but being very little more is a just a bigger room. So called Deluxe Rooms are nice but very small. Would definately go back.
Very accommodating staff. Good service
friendly service, close to the historic area of Vigan
Great!
The hotel is nicely located in old quarter and very convenient for sightseeing. However the room did not have WiFi (it was only available in common area) and also cleanliness of the room was extremely disappointing. (Dark stain on the towel, hair on the floor/bathroom and feces of gecko on walls and closet... ) The hotel staff was nice.
