Fantastic stay at Harriet house.owners were very friendly and polite.room was fantastic and very clean.breakfast was amazing.

Both Paul and Heidi were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The location was great and allowed us to enjoy exploring Canterbury which was a short 15 minute walk into the city centre. The breakfasts were both varied, offering something for everyone, and tasty and helped set us up for our days out. The room was well appointed, clean and ready on our arrival.

There isn't much not to like and the only slight drawback, which didn't unduly detract from our stay, was that our room was slightly tight for space however this would not stop us from recommending staying here and we would certainly be happy to re-book whenever we visit Canterbury in the future.

Very convenient to walk into Canterbury. Heidi and Paul very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb! We had the room With the super king bed which was great and very comfy. Very clean and modern. Made us feel very welcome and my MIL had a lovely time too

Well we paid for two nights and the water and tea station wasn't replaced and the room wasn't done went well get back late at evening. I didn't caused many mess but we thought room should be done and the coffee,milk,tea,and water be replaced and room done.For the rest everything was excellent I am very recommend .The staff went there for us for any recurring, they lovely 😍

It’s a tiny detail. When you first get in a hotel room you use the toilet after your journey, you wash your hands and in my case I couldnt find a towel as their are nicely tidied in a drawer in the chest. So with wet hands, i opened the chest. It’s really a tiny detail as i like everything else

We had a lovely stay at Harriet House Bed & Breakfast in Canterbury. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the city centre, making it a really convenient base for exploring Canterbury. Heidi and Paul were really pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay. When the shower in our room played up, they moved us to another room without any fuss at all, which we really appreciated. They struck the perfect balance of being friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. I’d particularly recommend the Eggs Benedict, the homemade granola and the homemade marmalade — all excellent. A comfortable, welcoming B&B in a great location, with lovely hosts and a very good breakfast. We would definitely recommend Harriet House and would happily stay again.

Heel kleine kamer, met klein bed en kleine badkamer. Heel warm (waren er ook in warme periode), geen airco.

Breakfast was spot on even when I got it wrong. Location reasonable distance from town centre. Heidi and Paul couldn’t do enough for you.

Could charge £25 a night. Only joking, there was nothing I didn’t like

Le seul bémol que je peux trouver c'est la proximité de la route. Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre et nous avons dormis les fenêtres ouvertes. C'était un poil bruyant. Cependant des bouchons et masques étaient présents sur chaque table de chevet par anticipation. Il faut juste ne pas oublier de les mettre avant de dormir ;)

Wonderful stay – highly recommended We had a wonderful stay at Harriet House. The hosts (Heidi & Paul) are exceptionally warm, cheerful and welcoming, while at the same time being extremely professional – a combination that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely and comfortable, the whole house has a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, and the breakfast was absolutely excellent – fresh, delicious and prepared with great care. What really makes Harriet House special, however, is the genuine hospitality. You can feel that Heidi & Paul truly enjoy welcoming their guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Lage fußläufig zur Innenstadt, circa 10 Minuten, sicherer Parkplatz, nette Gastgeber, gutes Frühstück, alles sehr sauber. Kleiner Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Versorgung mit dem nötigsten auf dem Flur, zum Beispiel Wasser, Snacks, Toilettenpapier usw. Betten sehr gut. Zimmer zum Market Way sehr ruhig.

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit Dachschräge, die Alternative wäre ein größeres Zimmer zu einer viel befahrenen Straße gewesen. Wie es dort gewesen wäre, wissen wir natürlich nicht. Für das schlechte Wetter konnten die Gastgeber nicht.

Es war rundum sehr schön. Das Dachgeschosszimmrr ist eine kleine Herausforderung aber hatten wir selbst ausgesucht und wir hätten auch ändern können. Super Frühstück und sehr freundliche und flexible Gastgeber. Desweiteren fussläufig zur Altstadt

Hosts make the guests feel welcome at their bed and breakfast. Clean, pleasant room (some character as opposed to drab hotel rooms), and comfy bed. Excellent breakfasts, and I suggest to try to choose as many as possible options during your stay. Wide breakfast choice. Not in town centre, though very walkable, and can be a pleasnt walk to town centre

The best way to experience the British hospitality with lovely breakfast cooked by the gentle and kind owners of the B&B. Perfect location with the centre within walking distance and perfect place to park you car.

Hosts Paul & Heidi are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fresh cooked, plentiful, & delicious. Location is less than a mile from the cathedral, with the river and parkland nearby. Some excellent Asian restaurants only a short walk away, and plenty more options downtown.

Rooms are a little small, not much room for luggage. However, bathroom and shower were spacious.

Wij hadden een super fijn verblijf van drie nachten in Harriets House. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn heel vriendelijk en servicegericht. Tegelijkertijd heb je ook alle privacy. De kamer was licht en prettig, met een fijn tweepersoonsbed (dat hadden wij bewust gekozen, er zijn ook kamers met twin bedden), kleine maar heel functionele badkamer met goede douche. Alles heel schoon en comfortabel. Wij hadden een kamer aan de voorkant maar dat is toch rustig gelegen en ‘s nachts is het stil. En heeft leuk uitzicht over het veld aan de overkant van de weg. Ontbijt is zowel vers gemaakt nav je bestelling, als ook een buffet waar je kunt pakken wat je wilt en ook dat is allemaal vers gemaakt en neergezet. Parkeren is op een afgesloten terrein achter de B&B, je kunt altijd (ook ‘s avonds laat) naar binnen met je sleutel. Je kunt wandelend naar het centrum van Canterbury, vlak bij de B&B is een wandelpad langs het riviertje The Stour. Canterbury heeft mooie straatjes met veel historie en leuke winkeltjes. Uiteraard ook The Cathedral. Voor dagtripjes kun je bijvoorbeeld naar Dover (Dover Castle, White Cliffs) en vanaf station Canterbury West ben je binnen een uur in London. Een hele fijne B&B op een goede locatie.

This is a lovely b and b with great attention to all the details for a really comfortable stay , and Heidi and Paul are the perfect hosts . Nothing is too much trouble for them .

The room is well furnished, clean, beautifully appointed bathroom. Paul is a trained chef. The breakfast offerings were delicious. The location is great for walking to all the sights Cantebury offers. We connected by bus or train easily to day trips outside Cantebury. Heide graciously accomodated us with a room change when my husband had difficulty with his walking. The hosts were genuingly interrsted in hearing about our plans and checked in again to see how our day went.

A short walk from the centre of Canterbury, this accommodation is ideally located for exploring the city. We travelled by car, and the secure on‑site parking made it convenient and worry‑free to leave the vehicle overnight. Breakfast was cooked to a high standard, and the room offered all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Canterbury or the surrounding area, whether for leisure or business.

The idyllic 10 minute walk from the BB to the center of town along a footpath beside a small river. Also the poached eggs at breakfast, they're the best.

The room in the loft was claustrophobic for a family of three. I did chose the cheapest available option but would have been better if I knew what I was getting into.

Het is mooi schoon en goed verzorgt tot in de kleine details. Iedereen is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De b&b ligt op loopafstand van het centrum en een grote supermarkt.

Onze kamer (kamer 1) was niet groot, maar wel compleet.

EVERYTHING. This was the best bnb me and my husband have ever stayed in. The hosts (Heidi and Paul) were exceptional. They were so warm and welcoming, but also so funny and lovely to talk to!! It was my husband’s birthday during the stay and they surprised us with Prosecco at breakfast! Me and my husband are vegans so we always have a low expectation of what will be served at breakfast but oh my goodness Paul is the most fantastic cook! The breakfast was better than a restaurant - we asked for the recipe!! Also such a generous amount of food available. We will definitely be coming back - we’ve told everyone to go stay at Harriet House! Super close to the town and a stones throw from a newsagents. Beautiful walk into the town from Harriet House. We will be back!!

Heidi and Paul have thought of everything a traveller could need, or want. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Paul’s breakfasts set me up for the day - a perfect poached egg on sourdough with avocado and oven-roasted tomatoes - yummy.

Heidi and Paul were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and one to remember.

Everything was amazing. The hosts, Heidi and Paul get to know each and every guest by name and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is spotless, the bed was super comfy and the breakfasts were beautiful. It is about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Canterbury

Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean, everything is provided in the room with a very comfortable bed, a good nights sleep is guaranteed here. An off road private and secure parking space is a big bonus in a city. The breakfast was exceptional, lots of choice for everyone, the eggs (no matter how you have them cooked) was a particular highlight for me ! The location is a 10-15 minute walk along the riverside in the heart of Canterbury and a 10 minute walk along well lit roads to a variety of eating choices. When in the area again I would definitely use this B & B again, it has everything and does everything well.

Room 6 is difficult to sleep in as the ceiling is too low as the bed was under the sloped roof, also if you are less mobile the stairs to the top floor could be challenging

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi and Paul's B&B. We were staying in a spacious and lovely room. Free parking in Canterbury is also a big plus:) Only an easy 15-minute walk to the city centre, along the riverside. Breakfast was really good. Heidi and Paul were wonderful hosts.

I had a wonderful stay here. It's super clean and in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many sites. I'm a backpacker so I walked everywhere local. Close to W. Canterbury train -- 15-20 minutes max. Room was very comfortable and had a great bed and shower. Kettle and coffee and tea and mini- fridge. Paul and Heidi run a great spot and the cooked-to-order breakfast is terrific. The best I've had in my England travels of over a month. Nice people who go the extra mile. I look forward to returning.

Die beiden Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und Sie haben sich alle Mühe gegeben unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer. Es gab ein tolles Frühstück und wir konnten unser Auto auf dem Innenhof parkieren, welcher über Nacht abgeschlossen wurde.

Es war in diesem Dachzimmer ohne Klimaanlage warm. Es kann allerdings sein, dass solch warme Sommertage in Canterbury selten sind. Das Doppelbett war gemütlich, hätte aber ein wenig breiter sein können.
