Ubicación ideal para vivr la ciudad. Habitación tranquila, grande, muy limpia. Llegando en coche se puede aparcar para descargar maletas. Hay un parking privado a 500 m. El personal es muy atento y cortés.

Único pequeño defecto: la climatización es un poco ruidosa. Otro aspecto a mejorar: el cargo a cuenta de la tarjeta de crédito (para la comprovación de fondos) permanece después del pago efectivo. Sería mejor que la administración del hotel procurace anular la disponibilidad de saldo una vez efectuado el pago.

Terrible place to stop with a car for loading and unloading luggage. We did not manage to find the way to get into the one way street, and getting into the intersection and reversing two cars among all the pedestrians was a pain.

The hotel is in a beautifully converted old mansion overlooking the river and very close to the centre of the Old Town. Our room was bright, spacious and very comfortable with a lovely bed and large bathroom.Good breakfast served in the old cellars- which are also beautifully converted. Highly recommended.

The host was exceptional! Traveling for our honeymoon in Heidelberg was great thanks to his insight and enthusiasm. He showed us the wonderful view for the lighting of the castle and told us about local options for food and drink. He was so excited to share and hear about what we saw and did.

The host did his best with the heatwave and had personal AC units in the rooms. Other than the heat it was superb.

Sehr nette Gastgeber und sehr hilfsbereit. Hübsche Zimmer. Lage perfekt. Man ist in einer Minute Fussmarsch direkt in der Altstadt. Frühstück war klasse und die Location dazu auch. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Der Läufer in unserem Zimmer könnte mal wieder gereinigt oder ausgewechselt werden. Ansonsten alles Tipp Topp und sehr familiär.

Location excellent Breakfast excellent Room - cute but ceiling was a bit lower than I imagined, but we coped. Fridge wasn’t cold enough & electric jug cord didn’t reach the dresser top so had to use it on the floor! Also was very difficult to access suitcase on floor under ceiling but would improve if it could be stored on a base with wheels so it can roll out for easier access Staircase - we had no idea that there was no lift & therefore we’d need to climb 4 levels of a building with such a high stud (our stud height on average is 14 steps - yours 24 !) However I accept that is a feature of old historic buildings that gives them character! Hotel access - our arrival was very difficult because we couldn’t contact anyone to let us in. Our phones ran out of data & then battery power so we were stuck. We had to ask for help in a local retailer to allow us to recharge our phones & they went out of their way to help us. I accept that this situation probably arose because I failed to reply to an email from the hotel in time, regarding our arrival, which was just after closing. However, as a guest from the other side of the world It would have been comforting to know there was another option for entering. We could still have been standing there waiting for hours had those kind people not helped us. All in all, it was a pleasant stay with a beautiful room & view & pleasant staff & we have no regrets. Thankyou!!

Although our room did not have AC we had three windows that provided a beautiful breeze off the river. We were very comfortable in weather with 80 F highs and 60 F lows

Dobrá lokalita v centru města, nedaleké historického mostu, ideální pro turisty, kteří mají zájem o místní památky. Bohatá snídaně, velmi příjemný personál. Náš pozdnější příjezd (mimo otevírací dobu recepce) se snadno vyřešil díky zaslání přístupových kódů.

Centrum Heidelbergu není dobře dostupné autem, resp. auto je nutné zaparkovat v některém z parkovacích domů (velikosti parkovacích míst v nich nejsou vždy ideální). Je proto nutné přijet autem, vyložit zavazadla a odjet zaparkovat. Pokud máte pokoje obráceny směrem k nábřeží a řece, při otevřeném okně vás ráno bude budit provoz na ulici, která míjí hotel.

The location was great for our plans in Heidelberg.

Parking to unload the car and then going to a paid garage a half a mile away was a little bit of a hassle. Also, it seemed that the reception desk should stay open later in the evening.

Durch das Buchungssystem wurden aus Versehen zwei Zimmer gebucht, was wir nicht bemerkten, da die Buchung kurzfristig erfolgte. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer inkl. Taxen zu bezahlen. Die Rezeptionistin war in keiner Weise entgegenkommend. Keinen Rabatt, nicht einmal ein kostenloses Frühstück dazu. Sie war sehr unfreundlich und abweisend.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel direkt am Fluss und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Innenstadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück in ganz besonderen Räumlichkeiten; sowohl die Einrichtung als auch das Frühstück selbst zeugen von viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und komfortabel – ausgestattet mit einem Himmelbett, gutem Fernseher, Kühlschrank sowie einer hervorragenden Dusche in einem schönen, sauberen Badezimmer. Wer Heidelberg besucht, dem kann ich dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

I received a warm welcome at Hotel Villa Marstall. As I was arriving a little later than expected, the receptionist kindly stayed beyond her usual hours so that I could check in personally rather than having to use the entry code. This thoughtful gesture immediately made me feel welcome. I stayed in a beautiful junior suite under the roof, which was full of character and charm. The suite was comfortable, quiet, and a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location is excellent. The hotel sits directly on the banks of the Neckar River and is only a short walk from Heidelberg’s historic Old Town, the famous Old Bridge, restaurants, cafés, and many of the city’s main attractions. It is an ideal base for exploring Heidelberg on foot.

The only disappointing aspect of my stay was the breakfast. The coffee machine was out of order, and only rather weak filter coffee was available from a thermos pot. In addition, several items, including the egg dishes, were not replenished promptly, resulting in quite a long wait. Overall, I felt that the breakfast did not justify the additional charge of €18.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit einer sehr positiven Atmosphäre! Die Lage ist hervorragend und bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr nette, aufmerksame und freundliche Personal – man merkt, dass es sich um einen liebevoll geführten Familienbetrieb handelt. Die historische Altbau-Atmosphäre und die geschmackvolle Gestaltung verleihen der Unterkunft einen ganz besonderen Charme. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wohl.

Leider konnten wir den historischen Frühstücksraum aufgrund eines Schadens nicht besichtigen, was sehr schade war. Trotzdem war unser Aufenthalt insgesamt sehr angenehm und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt – direkt im Stadtzentrum von Heidelberg und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Veranstaltungen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Dame an der Rezeption. Sie war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und stets hilfsbereit. Man wurde immer mit einem Lächeln empfangen und fühlte sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber, gepflegt und ordentlich. Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Obwohl wir etwas später zum Frühstück gekommen sind, war alles noch vollständig vorhanden und wurde laufend aufgefüllt. Das gesamte Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Aufenthalt war rundum angenehm und es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt.

Der einzige kleine Nachteil sind die Parkmöglichkeiten in der Altstadt. Direkt am Hotel stehen nur begrenzte Parkmöglichkeiten allerdings nicht für Hotel Besucher, sodass man auf umliegende Parkhäuser angewiesen ist. Diese waren teilweise sehr voll und die Stellplätze sowie Zufahrten recht eng. Da wir mit einem größeren Fahrzeug (Pick-up) unterwegs waren, war das Ein- und Ausfahren etwas herausfordernd. Allerdings ist dies eher der Lage in der historischen Altstadt geschuldet als dem Hotel selbst. Positiv war, dass wir unser Gepäck problemlos am Hotel ausladen konnten.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and had everything you need for a stay of a couple of days. It was located near the center and near the river. The breakfast area is very quaint and beautifully decorated and the breakfast itself is very diverse.

We didn't like that they did not have parking, but there are alternatives and you can find other parking places, but farther from the villa. And we would have loved the room with the view over the river, but the one we got was good.

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt und vergeben eine klare 10 von 10. Die Lage direkt in der Heidelberger Altstadt ist hervorragend, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders begeistert hat uns der wunderschöne Blick auf den Neckar. Unser Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet, alles war makellos sauber und gepflegt. Ein besonderes Highlight war das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet im historischen Gewölbekeller-ein wunderbarer Start in den Tag. Der herzliche Empfang und die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams haben unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. Man nimmt sich hier wirklich Zeit für die Gäste und gibt tolle Tipps zu den schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und den besten Restaurants der Stadt. Wir haben uns von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We hadden een keurige kamer met een prachtig uitzicht op de rivier. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt heerlijk. De centrale locatie was perfect om alles te voet te verkennen. Er is geen parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel, maar je kunt de auto uitstekend parkeren in één van de omliggende parkeergarages.

De parkeergarage is 10 minuten lopen. Je kunt je koffer eerst bij het hotel uitladen, maar omdat het hotel aan de ene zijde aan een drukke weg zonder parkeergelegenheid ligt en aan de andere zijde aan een smalle eenrichtingsstraat, kan het dus even zoeken zijn waar je dit het beste kunt doen. Als je niet veel bagage hebt, is het misschien handiger om eerst de auto te parkeren en dan met je koffers naar het hotel te wandelen.

Das Haus hat einen besonderen Charme, die Lage am Neckar in der Altstadt ist perfekt, Personal sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war absolut i.O., insbesondere der Frühstücksraum im historischen Kellergewölbe ist der Hingucker. Check-In und Check-Out unkompliziert, der 24-Std-Zugang über eine PIN/Card klappt hervorragend und wird vorab per Mail sauber kommuniziert!

Die Rezeption ist Nachmittags nur eine halbe Std besetzt, hier muss man seine Ankunft also genau timen, sollte man noch weitergehende Wünsche/Fragen neben dem reinen Zugang zum Haus/Zimmer haben - oder per Mail anfragen. Ein Getränkeschrank zur Selbstbedienung wäre super, dieses trifft man mittlerweile in vielen Hotels - als Alternative zur Mini-Bar auf dem Zimmer - zur Selbstaufschreibung schon an. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mir persönlich einen Hauch zu teuer, sonst hätte ich es jeden Tag genutzt.

Super Lage, sehr freundliche hilfsbereite Rezeptionistin, Zimmer sehr gut schallisoliert.

Harte Betten. Kleines Zimmer mit tiefen Dachschrägen, bei „Delux“. Betten wurden in der ganzen Aufenthaltszeit ,3Nächte, nicht ein einziges mal gemacht. Geschweige frische Handtücher offeriert. Unhöfliches Reinigungspersonal, welches keinen Anstand hatte die Gäste zu begrüssen und aus dem Lift den Vortritt zu überlassen, sondern sich noch reinzudrängeln… Keine Parkplätze und keinerlei Vergünstigungen bei teuren öffentlichen Parkhäusern. Frühstück nur extra zu buchen bei bereits überteuerten Zimmerpreis, Kind hätte ebenso den vollen Preis eines Erwachsenen gekostet. Frechheit!

My husband and I spent two nights at the Hotel Villa Marstall and very much enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, right by the Neckar River and just a few minute walk to the main city center with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. The Old Bridge was a five minute walk and the place to purchase tickets to the funicular to the Heidelberg Castle wasn’t a long walk. Martino, the owner/proprietor was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our room was cozy, very clean and comfortable. If you plan to visit Heidelberg you won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay at the Hotel Villa Marstall!

Die Lage des Hotels und das unkomplizierte Einchecken, obwohl an der Straße gelegen kein Verkehrslärm gehört. Die Lage ist super, mitten in Heidelberg und man kann super auf die Burg zu Fuß oder per Bahn. Leider können wir zum Frühstück nichts sagen, da wir zum Brunch eingeladen waren.

Wir waren in einem Zimmer unter dem Dach und für meinen großen Mann war die Schräge leider nicht so gut geeignet.

Tolles Zimmer, super zentrale Lage

Das ist das erste Hotel seit langen wo das Personal sehr freundlich war! Es war vorallem auch sehr sauber. Man könnte mit weißen Socken durch das ganze Hotel laufen ohne dass sie dreckig werden. Auch dür Familienausflüge ist war dieses Hotel sehr passend und gemütlich. Es gab auch eine sehr große Vielfalt im Frühstück. Da war für jeden was dabei. Alles in einen hat uns das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Ich und meine Familie können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Die Lage ist hervorragend

Früher war das ein top 4-Sterne Hotel. Jetzt wird nicht einmal täglich das Bett gemacht oder Mülleimer geleert. Toilettenpapier fehlte ebenfalls ab Tag 3. man kann eine Reinigung anfordern, aber eine zwischendurch Kontrolle wäre sinnvoll. Ich hatte sogar an der Rezeption gesagt, dass ich zwar keine Zimmerreinigung brauche, aber mein Bett und die Mülleimer wären nett. Trotzdem nicht erfolgt. Straße war auch ziemlich laut, offenes Fenster nachts nicht zu empfehlen.

Optimale Lage am Neckar an/hinter der Altsatdt. Gebpäck konnte bis 15:30 Uhr am Abreisetag abgestellt werden. Unser Zimmer war über Eck mit 2 Fenstern und schön ausgestattet. Professionelles, gut eingestelltes Personal in allen Bereichen.

I'm so impressed with the impeccable cleanliness of the place. The staff's welcoming gestures truly made me feel right at home. Its prime location offers such breathtaking views! I couldn't ask for a better spot to unwind and recharge. This experience has been absolutely delightful and I can't wait to come back again.

I would like to share a small observation regarding my recent stay. The attic room, while having a certain charm, proved to be a bit challenging. The sloping ceilings did cause some unexpected bumps during our visit. Additionally, the rooms were on the smaller side, although they were quite cozy. I hope this feedback is helpful for future guests considering this accommodation.

Beautiful old hotel on the river, on the edge of the Altstadt, with a short walk to the Alte Brucke and heart of the Altstadt. We had a room on the top floor. The ceiling sloped down (had to be careful not to crack a skull whenever I turned around), but the view of the river and the Heidelberger Schloss wad fantastic. It was a great value for the location and quality of the room. The staff was also extremely helpful and kind.
