Jörn's Gästehaus

Location of Jörn's Gästehaus is close to several amenities, easy to find and worth every cent.

I was just a bit concerned with the toilet of unit 10, seemed as if the base was very loose. No issues really

Their breakfast was delicious and staff was very friendly

The location and the forest feeling

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was okay not a nice variety each morning was basically the same three options.

There is a lot of rising damp in the room, the plug covers are all rusted away so its been an issue for a very long time. The cupboard where the fridge is in floor is completely rotten away do the fridge is at an angle causing it to make a horrible noise. Tried to find the plug to switch it off but the cable is joined so we could not sleep because of the noise. We had no hot water on Thursday evening, I mentioned it Friday morning and had hot water for the rest of our stay thanks. Even keeping the windows open baring the cold didn't get rid of the mould smell in the room

Room is super spacious. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Facilities need a bit of an upgrade. Small changes can make a huge difference.

Friendly staff, clean, location

Nothing

Our stay at Jorn's Guesthouse from 2–5 July had both positive and disappointing aspects. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. However, it was immediately pointed out that the air conditioner was old—and it certainly looked very old compared to the rest of the room. As it was quite hot, we switched it on, only to discover that it was not working. After reporting the problem, the receptionist found that the plug connection was faulty and temporarily solved it by pushing the bedside cupboard against the plug to keep it in place. Later that evening we discovered that the toilet did not flush properly. I reported it the following morning, and fortunately the flushing mechanism was replaced, which resolved the problem. The biggest disappointment came on Saturday morning when I wanted to watch the New Zealand vs France rugby test. I then discovered that although the guesthouse advertises that it has DStv, the subscription does not include the channels that broadcast rugby. When I booked, I naturally assumed that "DStv" meant access to the standard sports channels. Had this limitation been made clear, I would have chosen different accommodation. The staff were friendly and attended to the maintenance issues when reported, but I believe the guesthouse should ensure that essential room facilities are in good working order before guests arrive. In addition, the limited DStv package should be clearly disclosed in the listing to avoid disappointing guests who specifically choose accommodation based on access to sporting events.

Strugled with the booking abit

You feel you're not in the city. Beautiful environment well taken care

The open bath.. I just like private Overall all was super 👌

The staff are excellent the room was spotless and the location is fantastic Best value for money in Nelspruit

Nothing negative

Very nice location and spacious room.Quite place

The GARDEN 😍 Perfect

Nothing much

The room where I stayed had lot of windows without blackouts so lot of light entering from early hours and the hotel exterior lights

Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Views beautiful. Gardens lovely. Bedding very clean and unit very neat.

Bathrooms are a bit dated and showerhead way too small.

Beautiful gardens, good breakfast included and friendly staff

Beautiful gardens and facilities

Avista panorâmica no teto.

Staff , beds and garden

Shower didn't have hot water. Luckily there was a beautiful 🛁 as well

The rooms and facilities are great.

I had a lovely room with a big shower that you can tell was new. The only problem was that the drainage system of the shower was not well actioned. This caused that the water did not drain properly and flooded the entire bathroom. This is obviously a health hazard as someone can slip and get hurt badly.

Wunderschöne Anlage in guter Lage.

All went well except breakfast excluded after online payment

On line it was advertised as bed and breakfast. After full payment on line we got letter stating that no breakfast with the package. On line no mention of a special package. Before payment understood it is B AND B got there , just bed.

I didn’t have time to have breakfast because had to check out early

Can’t not say because I checked and left came back early hours and check out early so I hardly 10 hours there

Proximity to town

Air conditioning doesn’t work. Bedding wasn’t clean, need to go looking for staff for service, infrastructure needs an upgrade and gardens need maintenance

It was neat and private and clean

Breakfast was delicious and clean. The view was out of this world, too beautiful and the surroundings were exclusive. The room was comfortable, clean and big. We really enjoyed our stay. i will definitely come back again.

More shade on swimming pool.

Location

Hard pillows, tired bedding, milk powder for tea.

Insectos

Very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, lovely pool and gardens. Staff very friendly

Nothing

The staff was very friendly and it was very clean

The place was peaceful and quiet, exactly what we needed

Upon arrival with my family [2x adult and 2 x children] I was told that I only booked for 2 ppl which I didn't. I knew exactly who was coming and booked accordingly 😌 that to me was VERY disappointing 😞 and rate that a zero...........

Everything as advertised on the website!

Nothing

Clean rooms good breakfast kind staff

Nothing at all

How do you have a shower in the bath, if you look at the gallery you don't see that Room needs a pained Curtains to be replaced

The breakfast was great. Nice choices. The location near the golf course was what we were looking for.

Darling can become a bit tricky

A very good place to stay, staff are welcoming and offer a very good breakfast. I would definitely recommend. Rooms are generous size and quiet surroundings. I would recommend.

Car parking a little tight but manageable. Bottle of water not replaced after use of initial bottle was disappointing.

Many flies and bedbugs Raelly far away from decent restaurants. Mozambik, I couldn’t recomment it

Natural, relaxing, great garden

Nothing

The breakfast was great. You had a choice of fruit, a full English breakfast, or an omelette. The garden is lovely, and there is a swimming pool (though it was rainy while we were there). The staff were fantastic. They really made one feel welcome. The guest house is in a tranquil area, with lots of birds.

Nothing

Lugar excelent

Espaços verdes.

Great location, spacious rooms, well maintained facilities

Nothing to be honest

Gardens and koi ponds are exceptional. Well-maintained. Breakfast excellent.

We liked all

Quietness of area

Shower, water pressure very low

The verandah, gardens, koi ponds, dining area

Coffee was great , didnt eat

Basin was blocked Bathroom floor towel too small Basin lights too dim

The hot tub was ok, water just took forever to run out. Here and there small stuff to be fixed. Breakfast was good. staff was friendly. The staff needs to save on electricity as per the notice on the door, every night coming back the lights and TV was playing, why?

The room, the food, the pool, and the staff
