1. No shower gel upon arrival. 2. Some of their food like turkey ham too salty 3. If they can upgrade their swimming pool by adding slides etc it would be great. 4. Need to improve their kids club.

The staff are nice but they are not very professional they need more training.For example on the last day of our stay checkout was at 1230 but at 1030 this hpusekeeping guy opened the door to our room. There was no knock on the door nothing. When he saw me he said he thought we were checking out. Though he apologised i found this odd. I ordered and paid for a cup of milo but it took ages to come. A few examples to make the place better.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026The reception staff are most welcoming on arrival. The room with the mountain view is superb. Breakfast has excellent selection, everything is delicious. Its the very best location in town, next to the morning market, surrounded by eateries and you never have to wait long for a Grab if you want to go and walk up Bukit Larut (my favourite place and my reason to visit Taiping). Look forward to visiting again next year.

Someone left a toothbrush and toothpaste behind and the staff didn't notice it. The fridge has a glass door with a very bright light and there was no way to switch it off, so the room was too bright for me to sleep. Covering it up wasn't ideal either.

Excellent staff, very helpful. Kettle in the room and umbrellas available when needed. Lots of restaurants, patisseries and cafés nearby (useful for breaksfasts). Easy access from the airport or the train stations with public transport.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Love the hotel venue, very next to a Mall and food outlets. Walking distance to Taiping Lakes, which is one of the best natural lakes in Malaysia.
Would be great if there is an EV charger at the hotel. Parking is rather cumbersome, having to drive up several floors to the car park. Besides that, all good.

The breakfast area was quite packed. It could be because it was a busy time with many guests, so nothing much to complain about as it shows the hotel has good business. However, I believe the breakfast area is a bit too small to cater for that number of guests. The hotel should consider having an alternate breakfast location, or at least inform guests during check-in about the expected number of people staying at the hotel and the busy breakfast hours. This would help guests plan their breakfast time better and avoid the crowd. That said, the food was good, and I have no complaints about the quality.ve

I would like to suggest one small improvement regarding the complimentary drinking water. Since Taiping is well known as the home of Spritzer mineral water, it would be a nice local touch if the hotel could consider providing Spritzer mineral water instead. As for breakfast, everything was delicious and satisfying. However, one small suggestion would be to change the chocolate cereal to the original Nestlé Koko Krunch, as it may offer a better taste and quality for guests.

We ordered room service and the foods were good and big portion! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again when we're in town. The staff were also friendly and so helpful.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Like usual all in good condition...thanks to front office the ladies one...especially to help me to dry clean my laundry it was late for me..im was checkin around 10pm and she very polite to double check with Hk department it is possible to settle up my laundry... And thank you so much tomorrow morning i received my laundry back before 10am..thanks
