Quite a bit of street noise from the trams. Inevitable given the location i guess. Very hot - probably 5 degrees warmer than ambient with little air flow making it harder to sleep but fans provided.

Noisy, very noisy in fact and a little too warm as there was no AC (not the end of the world but it was a hot day and with the noise outside, you had to have the window open to get a little airflow thru the very small room) Passable and we chose it for its location, not its amenities.

The location of Towhouse Boutique Hotel can't be beat. So close to Zurich HB, Old Town and Bahnhoffstrasse! Easy walks to all the placed we wanted to experience. We appreciated the in-room A/C during the hot weather and the friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable for the 2 of us.

The room was a bit dark but that wasn't a big deal. We also got a bit of street noise but that's a tradeoff for a great location near restaurants and cafes!

No fridge in the room so we couldn’t buy yogurt and I couldn’t keep my medicine in the right temperature which is at fridge temperature.

Excellent location, easy walk from Zurich Main Station, and to all the main areas of Zurich. Excellent and very helpful staff. Good bar & restaurant at the hotel and nearby.

I work and travel extensively for an international company. Unfortunately, after contact with the hotel 2x through Booking and once personally stopping by when I was next in Zürich, I have been denied the needed invoice for my company expenses report. I was told, both through booking messaging and personally, that I had to go through Booking to get a receipt because I made the reservation and payment through them. Booking does provide a receipt but it cannot be used for tax purposes. The needed hotel invoice, which is always provided in ALL other hotels, even when booked with Booking.com, was denied. Additionally I now have the additional issues this has caused with my company accounting department. The only invoice issued to me was for the 7.— CHF city tax which was charged directly at the hotel.

No luggage storage for early check in before room ready - luggage unsecured in very active lobby/street area in town; the room felt dingy, and carpet had clear soil marks

We stayed for one night upon arrival to Switzerland. Easy to get to from the airport/train and short walk made it a great location. Very friendly staff! Welcome drinks allowed time to chat and get recommendations. Room was nice, quiet, and though no A/C it was quite pleasant. Hot showers and comfy accommodations. We would highly recommend!

Great location. Right middle of everything…shopping, train and bus station… restaurants. Hotel room was cozy if not a bit crowded with antique furniture. No AC but a fan was adequate in late August. Nice bar/ restaurant downstairs serving breakfast.

Location is great right outside Zurich HB, which is very convenient. Easily walkable to the old town, the lake and everything you’d want to visit in city center.

Bed and pillows were maybe a little too soft for our liking but that’s a personal preference.

Отель явно устал и требует ремонта. Завтрак очень скудный и дорогой. Парковки своей нет. Цены за такой сервис запрелельные.

Ideally located close to the train station and easy walking to the old town, rivers and lake. Super helpful welcome, a kind upgrade and everything was just as detailed on the website. Would happily stay again.

Nice rooms that were decent sized for such a central location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was NO AIR CONDITIONING, although provided 2 fans in my room. But in August it still led to me having poor sleep. I note this as it’s the first and only time I’ve stayed in a hotel in a major city that lacked A/C. Another downside is if you leave luggage behind, it’s kept in the open where often there is no hotel staff to ensure bags are secure. But other than these two nitpicks, it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend for most stays

Room 11 with no air con in August. Room is exposed to street, so with no air con, it’s either you sleep in a hot room or face the noise. Nothing you can do about trams, but a member of staff knocking at the entrance door at 1:55am and having a chat for 10mins is rather something you don’t want when you’re trying to sleep. Same about a member of staff knocking at a door next to yours to wake another room up early around 6am, there are alarms or phones which would be less disturbance for neighbouring guests. Very little space in the room and to put clothes and luggage away, so ok for one night, will feel cramped for longer.

Small room but so convenient to the station and tram services to get around. Close to the old town to walk

Localização excelente! Muito proxima da estação de trem e boa pra passear a pe pela área central. Ter elevador também foi um diferencial pois estávamos com malas pesadas. Apesar dos pontos descritos abaixo, valeu a pena.

O café da manhã é um pouco restrito. Para ovos mexidos, o atendente me deu uma frigideirinha eletrica para eu mesma fazer, rs... Não que seja um problema, apenas não é tão prático, principalmente considerando o valor da diária.

Nothing bad to mention

The location near the station was the selling point for us, but there were also many dining places nearby that helped.

The property is small and the lift is tiny and slow so it made coming and going from the room cumbersome. Also the location closes as night so when we returned in the late evening the location was locked up and it took us a while to figure out how to enter.

Personal war super freundlich und der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Super Lage alles zu Fuss möglich, Bahnhof direkt in der nähe. Sehr sauber und schöne Zimmer.

Es war nichts negatives. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlendswert.

Das sympathische, freundliche Personal hat uns überzeugt. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof und zum Zentrum ist super. Das Zimmer war klein, aber gemütlich und hübsch eingerichtet. Frühstück für 21.- war gut.

Location was great, short walk from train station, a few minutes from the river and old town. Property was clean, bed comfortable, all staff encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Room was quite small so found it difficult to move around especially with suitcases as there was nowhere to put them. Room was very warm and there was no fridge

Room was spacious. The blend of old with modern. They did have fans in the room as it was built seasonably hot. Esteban at front desk was great - he knew we were coming in early and he was able to save the room so that we could check in after our long international flight. He also recommended the Zürich city tour and it was fantastic. Quiet. Close to train station which is what we wanted.

Beautiful hotel located right beside Zurich train station. Really cozy hotel with old style/antique furniture - I loved the vibe of this hotel. Room was perfect no complaints, the toiletry selection was great and the fan actually kept the room cool. Also dealt with a really lovely receptionist, my boyfriend left his retainer behind and the lovely receptionist lady found it for us and helped get it shipped back. Will definitely come back here if staying in Zurich again!

Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel! Clean and comfortable with a cute mini kitchen in the Jr suite. Spacious for the 3 of is. Friendly and welcoming staff. A perfect location near the train station with outdoor restaurant seating to eat, drink, unwind, and people watch.

Great location in Zurich right near the train station. Good casual food from the restuarant downstairs. Thankful they provided a portable air con unit in our room as was 36 degrees outside. We had a double room which was very roomy and commfortable

Location was 10/10. The junior suite was spacious for Zurich hotel. It has a kitchenette and pretty much everything you need.

For the price I would have expected air conditioning. The heat at night made for an uncomfortable stay. Reception was largely un attended. There are better places for a similar price in the vicinity.

Construction started very early AM right out window , and window has to be open since no AC. Could have used more rest.

Vintage style but had all we could need. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient to transport, shops and key sites to visit. Has a nice area to sit outside in the shade.
