We previously have stayed at this hotel many times when it was the Fairmont. It is now been renamed and under different ownership, and pleased to report that it is unchanged and the same high standards have been maintained.

We did find the beds quite hard compared to many hotels we have stayed in recently.

Great Fairmont in China: We stayed at this property as a family for leisure. The hotel was great, staff was professional and kind, location was great. Safe hotel choice in Chengdu. Hotel: A very modern and beautifully maintained property, exactly what you would expect from a Fairmont. The room was excellent in every aspect, spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Staff: high professionalism with genuine kindness. Food: Great food. Facilities: Great facilities. Location: Great location.

After six years, I had the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont Chengdu again, and it remains an absolutely fantastic hotel—truly in the Champions League of hospitality! The property is modern and tastefully designed, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The service was impeccable—professional, warm, and attentive. A special shout-out to Adam, who went above and beyond to assist me. Thank you for your outstanding help and for arranging such a wonderful room—it made my stay even more memorable! I highly recommend the Fairmont Chengdu to anyone visiting this vibrant city. Five stars without a doubt

Our recent experience at the hotel has been less than satisfactory. Upon check-in, the front desk failed to provide a clear explanation of the room rate or present any necessary documentation for signature. Furthermore, we encountered unsolicited solicitations of a sexually explicit nature in the lobby. Upon entering the room, we discovered a malfunctioning toilet in the living area, and subsequent complaints to the staff resulted in the unavailability of the turn down service.

I was impressed by the service provided by the front desk Ms Carrie and Ms Rose. They are very attentive to all enquiries asked. Very professional and serve hotel guest with smile.

Experience was amazing. Went into this trip with fairly high expectations due to the brand name but came out of it having all expectations exceeded. Reception staff were extremely efficient and friendly during check in. The room was massive and had a great view onto the boulevard in front of the hotel. The room was very well furnished and had intuitive smart controls which made it very easy to navigate and use during the stay. The hotel is located very close to the metro station with easy access into the city and the airport.

The hotel itself was elegant and quiet. The room look new and clean. Room systems are automatic. The front staff Mr.Joe that check-in for us is remarkably professional. He asked about our plan for the trip, he advise us to purchase the panda ticket and suggest the best time for visiting. He prepared us the limousine with most polite driver Mr.Tony. We have the best stay of Fairmont here in Chengdu compared to other Fairmont that we’ve been in China (about four of them). Food aren’t much variety but has really good taste. We definitely have the perfect hotel for our trip.

Poor check in experience, front staff was cold and no explanation of Accor Platinum benefits given. No welcome amenity was given either. Rooms were also dated albeit large. On the surface everything looks clean but aircon vents and edges of the ceilings were filled with dust. Amenities were also not consistently replenished, housekeeping missed things out on some days. Only positive point was the restaurant staff especially Ms Tang who went above and beyond with her service. Location of the hotel is also not very ideal for tourists, although the Metro station is 2mins walk from the hotel entrance, the journey to the city centre takes about 30-45mins. The location is more ideal for business travellers. Judging from the hotel manager’s replies to reviews, the hotel does not seem to want to improve either.

The service was poor

We like our suite room the Fairmont Hotel . There’s MIKU restaurant at 44th floor. Great view with excellent food and local wine Cabernet Sauvignon . My table served by Jasan Wang , very friendly and very attentive he basically takes care everything we need . Jason customer service is 9.5/10

4 amazing hotel ! Great service ! The only item would be that the pool is not as hot and you need a swimming cap for it which is weird . The food on the hotel is more on the Asian a bit more mix would be better , but all in all amazing hotel . We would definitely stay there again

Attentive and friendly staff. We had an issue in the original room and they took care of it right away. Also gave us complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience.

A bit far from the center of town.

Rooms are clean, spacious, and elegant. Highly recommend the gold fairmont suite room with complimentary access to gold fairmont lounge. Special mention to the executive lounge team Iris, Mia, & Lesley for the warm hospitality and service.

Great hotel, one of the best ACCORs I have been to. Exceptional service from all staff members - consierge, reception, restaurant, nice lounge with good variety of food and once again, exceptional service! The room has all amenities, high floors have a beautiful city panorama, sadly we were too busy to enjoy LOL. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Chengdu

We love staying here at the start and end of our stays in Chengdu, it’s an easy 3 minute walk from the metro line which goes directly to Tianfu airport. Friendly welcome by English speaking staff, large comfortable rooms most with good views. Breakfast is satisfactory , large selection of mainly Chinese dishes. Will be back I’m sure

Very good service and food! I personally love drinking alcohol lol. The cocktails tastes very good and I am a light weight already feel buzz after one glass The dishes tastes delicious and present in a classy way which suits the overall environment and 44th view. Overall authentic gives me NY vibes. Good for solo who enjoy quiet bar, dates and business meetings etc.

We always choose the Fairmont when we visit Chengdu as it’s so convenient to get from the airport, the metro stop at Century City being right outside. The high corner king rooms are lovely and we were very grateful to be upgraded to one of these.

Breakfast is not the best, but perfectly adequate.

Went to the Miku restaurant and had the best food I have had in Chengdu after living here for 18 months. Definitely will be back here again and give it my highest recommendation. The service was exceptional. The steak was cooked to perfection.

Elegant, refined property with luxurious facilites. The location is ideal to reach city and airport by metro. Fairmont Chengdu is the most stunning hotel that I've experienced in Asia, the staff speaks perfect english and will do everything to assist you when booking tours and transfers. My stay was memorable and I wish to thank Adam, Fischer, Aight, Icey, Larry and all the Front Office team.

This hotel is modern and new. The room is magnificent with beautiful views. The bathroom was incredible as well. Location is a bit far from Chengdu center but there is a metro next door from the hotel. Breakfast was very nice. Only minor concern is the level of English of the staff. Please work on this.

Well located in less busy street. Icey, an exemplary great service manager, attended to my earlier stay of warmer, rather noisy front road facing room with an upgraded, good facing, quiet, much cooler room. Icey is very attentive to every details and is always responsive to resolve any concerns raised, especially fast in resolving the missing dates recorded in the Accor system too. More importantly, Icey, even gave additional suggestions to location of interest too. A great job done!

This is maybe the best 5 star hotel in China. Amazing facilities, wonderful cuisine and super friendly staff. We loved it.

This was my second stay. The hotel is luxurious. Personal attention from staff. The location is great for business in the High tech zone, with easy access from the international airport - seven stops on the metro. Am planning to return in October and will always stay at the Fairmont when on business in Chengdu.

City centre tourist sites are further way but taxis are cheap and the metro is efficient and pleasant.

We booked the Fairmont gold room and the staff in the lounge are very helpful and friendly. Jeanne is very nice to tell us the places to visit nearby and always ready to help. Thank you. The location is far from the old city centre. But it is in the new district with a subway stop just 50 metres away from the hotel.

From the check in by "aranda" (FOrget her excat name) , the updgrade, the decoration and attention to the room for anniverary, the food in breakfast and the cocktails as welcome drink all was good. Swiming pool not too big but enough to swim I can also mention the staff on reception or the "cleaner" were polite A well manage hotel as well as facilities

A good stay. Was a bit disappointed as the check in staff Leila was unfriendly, no smile and very slow (this was confirmed as she helped me checking out this morning, same level of service unfortunately). In addition, no status recognition or welcome amenity was provided. To my surprise the toiletries have changed to the Grown Alchemist, which I’ve used at M Gallery hotels in the past. One of the reasons I chose staying at the Fairmont hotels is I’m a fan of the Le Labo perfume but was disappointed to know it was not provided at this hotel, despite both the hotel website and in room information menu still advertising it as a selling point. The five star rating goes to Nick Wang at the Spectrum restaurant. The best service I’ve experienced during my stay and he has changed the experience completely. Not only he was super friendly and attentive, but also very personable such as remembering my coffee preference and made it available without even asking, helped me changing seats as it was very hot at certain areas in the restaurant, packing food and fruits for me to enjoy on my trip to another city etc. The list goes on. Upon sharing my experience he was very apologetic and arranged a welcome amenity (guess it’s a farewell amenity as it was sent at the last night lol), which is the signature Fairmont Chengdu Daisy cake and two small bottles of sparking water. Thank you Nick for everything you’ve done which made my stay a memorable one. Keep up the amazing job you are doing! Last but not least, the Fairmont Gold Club was nice too. Very quiet and has an expansive dinner food/drink options. Afternoon tea was tasty also. The service from Jeanne, Danna and Mia was good too.

Warm and attentive reception from the Reception upon check-in. The Duty Manager, Concierge, Restaurant Staff and the Housekeeping were very friendly and helpful! Large comfy room with all the amenities. Delicious food and great customer service from the restaurants, namely Chang-Yi and Spectrum. Excellent location with access to metro station in just 100m walk. Thank you!

Location was excellent. The train station that leads to both the expo hall and the airport were in the same line as the one right next to the hotel. So it was no trouble at all. The train station also connects to a mall across the street for some choice food options.

When ordering in-room dining, the hotel staff would take the meal one at a time and not all together. So I could not enjoy my food in one go. This happened during all of the times I ordered in room dining.

We were upgraded to a suite on arrival which was so clean, comfortable and light, with lots of room. We had club lounge access, a little oasis of peace and quiet to retreat to during the day while my husband was working. The Staff in the lounge were wonderful including Jeanne who looked after us so well and Rita.

An upscale hotel in a prime location. Grandiose view. Lots of gastronomy nearby. Subway in front. Superb view. Friendly staff. Can't think of much to improve.

No shampoo etc. in bath tub, and no way to remove these items from the shower.

Hotel located in south Chengdu and easy reach to city center by metro or automobile. the Breakfast is in both western and Chinese flavor which is perfect! once I visit chengdu again will definitly stay at Faimont chengdu again.

the lobby shall facility more sofa or chairs, there is only 1x group of sofa for max 5 people.

Have stayed at this hotel on many previous occasions and never disappoints. Rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. Great location, with Century City MTR right outside the front entrance.

overall very nice and clean, spacious room, modern facilities. the staff are very friendly, reception was fast and smooth, i lost my small jewelry, two three staff helped and found it. they treat my little one like their own kids, take care of him and he loves the panda toy. room was always clean, whrnever u come back, u r back to a clean room. overall amazing experience.

By far the best hotel we have been to and the staff are so friendly and willing to help. Aight in customer service has gone above and beyond to help us. I haven’t found any faults with anything so far (maybe wifi a little slow to do this review but aside from that nothing.) Would highly recommend.

Convenient, 10 min walk to from Metro line #1, in new hi-tech district of chengdu, 15 min from downtown by metro. Get corner room if you can, much more spacious, equipped with two good size end-of-bed benches, if put together side by side and with the in-home sofa form a nice bed for toddlers. The breakfast was not great, but okay. The main Chinese restaurant on the 4rd floor is a better choice.

Nice staff, great amenities. Close to subway and easy to commute

This is by far the nicest hotel we stayed during our 3 weeks trip in China. The facility is great. Service is great. Breakfast is great. Everything is top standard. The staff even shipped some of our luggage out for us at a later date. Overall we had a great time.

The facility is outstanding - super clean and beautiful modern deco. Its not one of those tourists choices. It’s in the financial district with abundance of quality western as well as Chinese food choices. It’s located a stone through away from a metro stop which will take you to all the key attractions. We got upgraded to the luxury suite when we check in. Very friendly and super helpful staffs. Has gym and swimming pool which is plus for family on school holidays.

The hotel is lovely, the rooms are spacious. It's a shame the road around the hotel is a big construction site at the moment, although I couldn't hear any construction noise in the room.

We were extremely pleased by our family (4 people) stay in Chengdu. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were amazing, huge and extremely well equipped and with great views, the included breakfast buffet was one of the best and largest I have ever seen. All this for what seemed a reasonable price. The hotel is only 4 years old and still in good shape and if they keep maintaining it well, it should remain your top choice in the area. We wished we could have stayed longer.

It's a surprise when I got the greeting of Happy Canada Day. It became a home away from home to me.
