The Elmore Hotel, DFW Southlake, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

It was beautiful and clean. Very comfortable. The staff was very kind and made accommodation for us with a smile. Very refreshing.

The rooms were comfortable.

We had to change rooms because the staff forgot about a work order that was put in for our room. After we moved to our new room everything was fine, but there were additional issues with the dining room downstairs. Overall, our trip was okay, but I probably won’t book this hotel again.

Good location, staff were very friendly. Only had breakfast twice during our stay - menu was a little limited but nice. The bar was rarely open and when it was it shut at 10pm.

We thought the location was excellent. We were spending a fair amount of time during this visit in Dallas so the easy access to the highway and being on the east side of Southlake was helpful.

The room was noticeably in need of repair. Faucets were not attached in some cases to the sink, door handles were completely missing in the bathroom and the layout of the junior suite we were in made no sense whatsoever. It looked like the random furniture was placed with no regard for the person or people staying there.

Whoa Nelly! We have tried so hard to like this hotel but alas we cannot. This hotel is in transition. Beware! The time we were there they were having a celebration of the new transition to the Bonvoy portfolio. After all the crap we went through it was disheartening to see all the executives in the lobby celebrating their new hotel as they sip wine and drive away in their Bentley’s. When we arrived, we were given a room that definitely wasn’t ready for primetime. Missing pieces inside, blue tape where they had painted and left remnants of the work, and very gross crunchy bits stuck in the carpet. The front desk people are very nice and well meaning especially Noah and Austin. Unfortunately their job is a stream of apologies. Don’t be fooled by the restaurant. It’s a very small sitting area with your typical hotel breakfast layout. It falls on the expensive side. We did not enjoy the bar however it looked like it was vibrant at night with business travelers. Don’t fall for the speakeasy. It’s a meeting room. They’ve turned into a bar. There’s nothing dark and sexy about it. We were moved to another room, which was much better and things went smoother. However, we had to have the housekeeping manager go through the room with a fine tooth comb before delivery just because it seems like they’re always underwater and trying to make up for countless mistakes. We were told at check-in that we would not have any holds on our credit card because we were using points and of course the system started to rattle away hundreds of dollars of authorizations before we stopped it. It didn’t really matter to me, but I could see how that would matter to someone on a budget and possibly using their debit card. They have an accounting voicemail with an ex employee‘s name on it. I left a message and no one returned it. A week later I found out that person had left the hotel and of course more apologies ensued. I would give this hotel six months to get their crap together before you stay there. This hotel is not any nicer overall than a courtyard or residence inn at this point. I’ve stayed in every Bonvoy category, and while this category means to be sexier and more upscale, it fails to perform at this location.

Andrew at the front desk is excellent! With his client service excellence, he should be in upper management. I would recommend this stay 💯 very clean, comfy beds, great linens, quiet and love the reading nook with chaise. This is a wonderful place and will be our go to every time.

We needed a band aid and they gave us one. The room was really clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was very good. It is a hidden gem. We will be staying there again.

Awful! The walls are so thin you can hear everything! TV’s, housekeeping yelling down the halls & I do mean YELL! Every single day I had to hear the staff laughing, yelling at each other, even wheeling each other around & taking pics on top of crates! Crates because the place is under renovation! Which wasn’t mentioned. One guest yelled down the hall for them to shut up! But they laughed, literally laughed at her. I was there 8 days & only asked for my room to be cleaned 2. They missed my room one of those 2 days. Even with the request hanging on my door. Prob too busy riding around on crates while taking selfies. I asked for a working iron, mine wasn’t. It took 2 trips, the 2 other ones also didn’t work. Power went out while I was there. They had no TV, they had to buy a fire stick, no food service. Front desk staff were great. The white/ male day manager didn’t want to be bothered even to say hello. This was truly a nightmare!! Rates def do not reflect the renovations! I have already expressed to my traveling friends to stay away! Anywhere but the Southlake Hotel!!

Checked in after a long drive and wanted to take a nap before meeting up with family for dinner. Could not rest due to construction noises and cleaning staff loud talking in hallway. When went down for meet with family spoke with the desk clerk about these problems. He informed us that they were doing construction on the 3rd floor but 4th floor was available. My question was why did they book us on 3rd floor if 4th did not have construction going on?

Very nice non-chain hotel.

First time for a solo business trip to this nicely remodeled hotel. Location is near the Southlake Town Center with lots of good restaurants and shops. Checkin was pleasant the staff were friendly. Pool was warm and has three shaded seating areas plus outdoor seating with fireplaces. Bar had limited selection but good enough for a basic cocktail and beer. Room had some quirks but were fixed quickly which speaks to their commitment to service. Missing fridge was replaced within 5mins after being notified and TV remote system was addressed within 5 mins of calling it in. Room did not have drawers but it did have shelves for clothes. USB charging ports are convenient. Pod style coffee machine was good and the ceramic cups are a nice touch. Overall, a really nice room and pleasant stay. Would consider coming back again.

When we checked in our first room did not have AC and it was 79 degrees in the room. The door also would not lock. The staff moved us to a different room.

The food wasn’t to great and water pressure was really bad.

The wi-fi password was nowhere to be found. Called down to lobby. was put on hold so long, I gave up. An oddity about the room, the master light had to be on to turn other lights on. This did not work for going to the bathroom in the night and wanting to turn only the bathroom light on after closing the door, so I wouldn't wake my spouse up. I understand that our rooms were recently renovated and everything else about the rooms were great. Spacious, up to date, comfortable. And we loved the little reading lights attached to the headboard.

The beds were comfortable.

The shower floor was very slick! And there weren't grab bars. Had to put a towel on the floor of the shower to keep from falling. No shower wash in the pump. A maintenance man tried to access the room to work on the refrigerator. This should have been done before check in. We had the do not disturb sign on and still 2 hours to check out and the maid staff knocked on the door! Also bathroom door didn't stay all the way shut.

Pool was closed. Restaurant closed. So the things we were looking for simply weren’t here and there was no mention of it at booking. The front desk said the restaurant was closed due to limited occupancy in the hotel. Not a good stay.

Although it was under construction we were not really affected by it. Only one person working at night so we had to wait quite a while for some extras to be brought to us. Otherwise beds were comfy and good water pressure is all I need!

The room was great! The hotel advertised on website that hotel was being renovated and lobby and restaurant/bar were moved temporarily. However they did not mention that the pool was closed. I traveled with my son who went to a wedding on Saturday. I was there with no car and planned a pool day for Friday and Saturday- I would not have booked this hotel if the pool being closed was disclosed on website.

Very nice modern furnished hotel, but did have some wear and the remodeling is getting it back to where they wish to be it looks. It was a great value, not noisy and comfortable. I will be back and in a nice area to feel safe.

Didn’t know they were under remodel. Didn’t know that you had to valet park. I know that started Monday but was unaware when booked. Luckily there was parking elsewhere.

The fire pits and pool area were closed. There was notification of the closure. It was one of the reason we booked that facility.

Quick overnight stay, close to Southlake Town Center and plenty of shopping and dining. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was helpful. Everything was very clean.

Love the hotel & complementary water bottles. The staff was amazing fast and friendly. I will guarantee my stay there on future trips to South Lake, TX.

We enjoyed our one night stay for our daughter's birthday trip. Derrick was very friendly and we were able to get a suite to better accommodate our party. Clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again!

Towels were dingy. Bar and breakfast area located in Conference Ball Room. Didn't care for that too much. Nothing too much surrounding area of hotel.

Property is currently under construction so I would wait to stay. The rooms themselves are nice. If you choose to have breakfast, it is $17 for what other hotels give you at no extra charge. Most hotels add a "buffer" to your pending charge for theft or damage, but $200 is excessive and is yet to be corrected and we've been gone for 3 days. Cleaning staff took our ring of keys. Brought them back later, but why would you even pick them up? Just an odd experience all around.

This property was under construction. Our first morning, right outside our door - they began tearing down the ceilings and laying plastic over the floor. We were still in the room! No one notified us to move! We saw later that they had sent an email asking us to move rooms - but they failed to call our room and leave a message! And furthermore, with that kind of major construction going on - we should have never been in that room to begin with! So we had to move rooms- the new room - the electrical outlets were not functioning in the bathroom. The sink had a slow drain - disgusting. Also the tile in the shower floor was like standing in an ice rink. Dangerously slippery. They provide a very small rubber mat for the floor - but we had to add a towel just to get get out safely. Total lack of courtesy for guests - will Not be back!

Nice and convenient to shopping

The staff were absolutely lovely and when I needed to change my reservation, it was incredibly easy. My room was lovely and relaxing and the shopping center near by made for a wonderful shopping trip! I will definitely be back!

The property was nice. Just a few a minutes from downtown Grapevine. Staff was nice. Great bar area. The bartender, Sven, was great.
