Clean, upmarket, touch of class. Tarryn was amazing. Good breakfast. Pierneefs Kraal is a joy to visit
nothing
Absolutely amazing staff. Warm welcome, and beautiful accommodation. Check in was super easy and private accommodation.
None, it was a perfect stay.
What a great surprise to see such a venue in the heart of Pretoria. A quaint village atmosphere.
I didnt have breakfeast, location is good
The curtains in Room 1 is not adequite for night time, the room was not dark.
Everything was just perfect
The only negative point is that there was no work desk in the room for my laptop.
Historical significance.
Great location, very good coffee shop on premises
The atmosphere. Oneness with nature. Tarryn and Annette's warm welcome.
Restaurant closed for dinner
I loved my stay at De Kraal. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished with everything that I needed. The gardens are beautifully maintained with interesting sculptures.
Nothing.
Artistic gem in the middle of Lynnwood. Beautiful gardens. Interesting history. Lovely onsite art gallery. Enjoyed a scrumptious meal @ De Kraal restaurant. Our rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable.
Power outage during the night. No generator operational during this time. Do not think it was general loadshedding as neighbouring properties had power. Would suggest having a torch or battery powered lights in the rooms during such times.
Beautiful place and staff super friendly and helpful!!
What an amazing gem in Pretoria… This is not only a place to stay, it is an experience. Lovely old stone houses- kliphuisjes- breathtaking gardens, sensational art, fantastic service… I will be returning soon!
I have no issue - the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean.
Staff are amazing. And Thoughtful touches all over.
Private back door space with access to the garden. Will definitely book with them again
It would be great if there was a breakfast option included on the rate. Could also use a bit more lighting near the entrance/ fridge area part of the room I was in
The accomodation is unique and beautiful. The gardens are peaceful and relaxing. I absolutely loved my stay here.
Nice and homely place
Nothing
We stayed here before. It's a lovely property in a quiet cul-de-sac. The room is large with very spacious bathroom and lovely couch and comfortable bed
The gardens were not as well maintained as we were used to and the lighting from the parking can be improved. Not sure if the recent weather patterns were too blame. Although they mentioned that the restaurant was closed we expected the historic breakfast room to be open, maybe our interpretation was wrong
The property is lovely with big trees and beautiful gardens and open spaces. Annette and Chris the owners are going out of their way to make you feel at home.
Nothing not to like
Beautiful surroundings.
Strange, but I had to leave my room and the bathroom was outside over a courtyard. Not horrible, but a midnight wee was not great.
Very central and easy access to main roads
Would have like to have a washcloth in the bathroom
Exceptional rooms and attention to detail
The gas geysers can be temperamental
Breakfast was very good - outside in the lovely garden. Historical value of venue and beautiful well-maintained gardens. Room is decorated beautifully, comfortable couch and bed.Area is safe.
There was no hot water when I wanted to shower in the morning. I would appreciate wine glasses in the room and extra space to put toiletries on in the bathroom. Curtains in room next to bed do not have block-out lining and room is a bit light at night.
Annette made us feel right at home, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the atmosphere is just amazing. We only stayed for one night but we will definitely visit again and stay longer.
The tranquility, setting, stunning room and lovely touches
Exceptional accommodation in the middle of a busy area. Quiet, peaceful and tranquil. The guesthouse makes an effort to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. A firm favourite with us.
It’s a pearl inside Pretoria, surrounded by a fairytale wood and old heritage culture. The girls of the staff are amazing. Highly recommended
Only one small suggestion: improve the WiFi in the rooms
Pierneef Kraal is a wonderful and beautiful place
Our one room, room 4 smelled like fire and our eyes burned and clothes smelled even if we didnt light the fireplace. The rest were fantastic
Stunning place. Very Good food, friendly staff
Amazing gem in the city in tranquil setting with amazing food and all the amenities you require to escape for the busy city life!
Friendly and accommodating host. Beautiful environment. The facility is very clean and well cared for. We loved the hot tub! Breakfast (not included) was wonderful!
Lekker bederf in pragtige omgewing! Heerlike ontbyt.
Great place, amazing value for money.
Breakfast and dinner is not always available on all days.
Great spot, wonderful atmosphere and nice rooms.
Restaurant is closed on certain days, it can be a hassle.
The bed was a little bit uncomfortable
Gardens was beautiful. Restaurant also very nice
The bed in the room was small just a normal double bed and sharing with my sister was not comfortable. The room is big enough for a guest house size bed. Also the staff was very noisy when they arrived in the morning near our room, not cool for a Sunday morning
it was perfect
everything was great
Beautiful gardens - relaxing atmosphere. Great breakfast! Love everything about it!!!!
All was perfect!!!
Lovely warm staff, comfortable rooms that are incredibly spacious and personal, with all amenities required. Food at the restaurant was delicious!
Too short. Comfortable and convenient. Our second stay and we will return. What a great spot.
Very relaxing and well managed. Quiet, with a remote, country feel.
A roof/ceiling fan would be nice.
It was quite, staff are friendly and breakfast was excellent
Breakfast was really good and healthy. The hosts are wonderful very kind and attentive and gracious. They made sure you felt at home.
The rooms are like huts 🛖 with traditional hut roofs. It was really charming but needs vigilant attention as spiders and tiny insects are attracted to such set up.
Lovely location, quiet and beautiful surroundings.
Quiet and calming.
Wow, what a nice place. So so pretty... Loved the garden
Lovely place in tranquil area. Decor beautiful. Staff friendly and welcoming
Nothing
the atmosphere and quiet surroundings - birds songs early ( very early :-) )
