We stayed one night at The Mews in Oamaru to view the penguins. Checking in at the front desk was incredibly fast and easy. The room was clean and fresh, and the comfortable beds ensured everyone had a great night's sleep. Free, on-site parking was good. The location was quiet.

The recommended Chinese shop the food was terrible, I wouldn't recommend that!

走到市區不會太遠，每個房間都有免費停車格，方便；有簡易的廚房，廚具還不錯，浴室很大且乾淨；浴室備品齊全、也提供很多大小毛巾；有小陽台，採光不錯，但天氣冷我們沒有實際使用。接待人員給了我們一瓶玻璃罐裝牛奶，感覺很好!

浴室的蓮蓬頭是固定的，且水噴濺範圍很大，會把地板弄濕，建議改善(房間15號)。房間的圓桌有點小，要用餐稍微不方便。

modeern spacious twin unit on ground floor with disability access. plenty room to move about in the main room. good kitchenette. off main road, so quiet surrounds:)

Sky sports channel would have been appreciated as All Black were playing

The room was clean, comfortable and warm. The location is great. Close to everything we were doing. Parking was good with plenty of space. Even though it is close to everything it was very quiet, which is great.

Comfortable chairs and bed. Sunny room with patio.

Separate bedroom was a plus. Bathrooms are well renovated, spotless and clean. Beds came with electric blanket. Room had wall heaters but there are extra standalone heaters which we didn’t need. Room was warm enough without needing to use electric blankets or extra heaters.

Would have been nice to have a sofa instead of two armchairs.

Pedí una habitación accesible y la verdad es que entrar en el baño requería un poco de maniobras. Por otro lado, el cabecero de la cama era bastante incómodo y el cable de la manta eléctrica del colchón sobresalía un poco y se clavaba.

Spacious, warm and clean. Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful.

No complaints at all. Struggled a bit to get the heater going at night, but made one call and staff got there to help in less than 2 minutes. They also have extra heaters which is awesome for those super cold nights

Lovely quiet rooms, spa bath was great. This will be our new oamaru stay place. But we have had in this town

Fire station next door, but only went off once while asleep

Such a lovely place to stay. Stayed here with my young son for a night while up to see the penguins and everything was beautiful. He loved the spa bath. We stayed in a cottage - would have loved to stay longer. Next time!

Very quiet

Both rooms were very clean. very comfortable bed.

The room was clean and reasonably comfortable with a good bed and 2 armchairs. There is well equipped kitchen and we had a mobility bathroom.

There was very little space for luggage which we had to spread on the floor - not satisfactory in a mobility room. There were no power points by the bed and some tissues would have been appreciated. Some sheer curtains would have been good as the room is dark once you draw the curtains for privacy. We had to ask to have the heating turned on - it was a cold day (this is the first room out of 11 we've stayed in that the management didn't have heating on prior to our artival). The worst thing was the room was really smelly from a previous resident's cooking.

The hot water was warm at best for a lovely big bath the tiles were freezing and the rooms stuffy the bed was hard and the bedding was poor

Room quite dated and beds need replacing. Bathroom outdated with shower over bath that for elderly not easy getting in and out of.

Rather further out from the centre of Oamaru than we would have liked. Large parties of Chinese arriving in mini buses; rather noisy.

The Mews was a lovely place to stay. The person at reception was very friendly and helpful. Lots of little touches that made is feel very welcome.

This is a great location in Oamaru and the check-in process was great with excellent personal service.

Love the room with spa bath,soap and shampoos for the room we're divine,not usual motel products,super big bed and comfortable

Had to go up stairs to the room which husband did struggle a little but thats not the motel fault thats mine for not checking first but was a quick last minute booking in my defense,

Very comfortable accommodation. Was only there for 1 night but an enjoyable stay with everything we needed.. the bathroom was excellent.

We stayed in one of the ‘cottages’ and it was great. Very clean. Really comfy bed. Comfortable sofa and a good kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. But, the USP - the bathroom. Lovely room with a spa bath that was fabulous. Nice towels, toiletries and even dressing gowns. A fantastic treat after a few days camping on our motorbikes. The host and staff were all lovely and very helpful. We also got our laundry done. ✔️ Parking was good. Off road and each room had a dedicated space. Felt secure for our motorbikes. We walked to the old town and out to the penguin colony. Saw half a dozen or more all crossing the road to return to their burrows in the cliffs. A fabulous couple of days.

Grosses Zimmer/Apartment mit kleiner Küchenzeile, gutes Badezimmer mit Dusch/Badewanne. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, nicht weit ins Stadtzentrum, mit dem Auto 3min. Milch im Kühlschrank.

Exceptional finish to the decor ,beautiful bathroom ,separate lounge,tv in bedroom and lounge Spa bath a lovely addition . Shame we couldn’t have stayed longer .

Omaru is a lovely place to stay. The reception host agve me a crash mile to welcome, it’s sweet. Beside that, the room’s decorate make me feel like home.

Modern and had a portable air con unit for our upstairs room. It had been hot so definitely appreciated it

It was clean, comfortable and very quiet

I had reserved three units. Unfortunately one member of our group became unwell and was unable to use their unit and although we notified them 24 hours prior to our stay to allow them to resell the unit, and they did resell it, they would not compensate with either a refund (all units were fully paid for five days earlier) or a voucher to be used at a later date. VERY DISAPPOINTED I am unsure if this a Booking.com or motel issue.

Was disappointed to see an extra charge if you wanted plunger coffee, when you pay quite a lot for a night that’s was not great. Great rooms but was expensive
