The service and rooms in The Townhouse are second to none. David provided another warm welcome (I'd stayed previously, and will again), and I enjoy his great breakfasts... and sense of humour. In addition, a stay here is perfect if you want easy proximity to the train, a terrific huge park directly across the road, and 5-10 min walks to numerous restaurants, shops, etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay but might explore booking directly next time, for even better value.

Lovely, friendly and helpful host. Spotlessly clean and spacious room. Well equipped bathroom with quality products. Delicious breakfasts with a personal touch. Comfortable beds. Central location - walking distance to most shops, restaurants and cafes. Free parking.

No complaints as such. We kept banging our heads on the skeiling but we soon learned. Our hair and clothes got smelly from the cooking but it was worth it to get a home cooked breakfast. Lots of stairs to reach the top floor from the car park but it kept us fit.

La stanza era meravigliosa, quasi un appartamento: lettone, caminetto, poltrone con tavolino con vista sul verde parco di fronte. C’era anche il necessario per l’afternoon tea, inclusi scones, burro e marmellata. Avremmo potuto trascorrere piacevolmente in camera la giornata. Colazione molto molto ricca e buona. Grande ospitalità.

Tout était parfait de l'accueil au petit déjeuner. Adresse à retenir. Chambre exceptionnelle, très confortable et cosy (dommage nous restions qu'une seule nuit. David est un hôte parfait (en plus il parle français), excellent cuisinier (je retiens cette exquise salade de fruits frais). Très belle rencontre.

We have stayed here multiple times and will stay here again in future. This B & B is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The rooms are wonderfully appointed with amazing attention to detail and consideration of comfort. David and Laurant are fantastic hosts and will strive to ensure you have a memorable stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Just superb.

We had an awfy guid wee stay at the Toon Hoose in The Fair Ceety of Pairth. Wit a braw hoose and awfy comfy. Breakfast wis smashin’ and we hid guid banter with David. Aw jist gran’. (Thanks lots to you both for a lovely end to our trip!)

The breakfast was exceptional quality and the host created a warm, friendly atmosphere in the dining room. The room was elegant and beautifully furnished and full of lots of lovely touches such as scone and jam on arrival, freshly ground coffee and daily newspapers. The location was ideal, overlooking a park and within easy walking distance of the centre of Perth.

Breakfast was fine. David went out of his way to provide what we needed eg oat milk.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at The Townhouse. We have visited twice. The rooms are comfortable and characterful, with everything you need - and more. Our hosts are charming and considerate, and provide an excellent and varied breakfast. Location is excellent: very handy for the town, parks and the river.

La maison et l'accueil de David sont incroyables. Rien n'est laissé au hasard, que ce soit pour notre confort ou pour la décoration. Il y a plein de petites choses à notre attention, des bonbons, des fruits, toute une gamme de cafés, des gâteaux... La chambre et la salle de bain sont très spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner préparé par David est excellent, et en plus il parle français. Tout est parfait pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible.

La ville de Perth n'est pas très agréable

Our stay at The Townhouse was all that anyone could ask for, and more. Delightful, spacious room on ground floor overlooking beautiful garden and the South Inch, thoughtful extras such as homemade scones, daily newspaper and copy of Scottish Field, and more! David is a wonderful, attentive and caring host, and private parking was a boon. We were sorry to be staying for only one night and will hopefully return if it is not already fully booked by everyone we have told about it!

We stayed at The Townhouse last week and it was beautiful!! We stayed in the front room overlooking the garden. The accommodations were excellent and the room was amazing! We felt as though we had stepped back in time. We were definitely pampered and it was a nice treat. David was a wonderful host and prepared us a delicious breakfast! I highly recommend staying at The Townhouse! I wish we could have stayed longer!

David could not have done more as a host. He was exceptional. The room was great with lots of lovely little touches e.g. pillow spray, freshly baked scones. For breakfast everything you could think of was available. Would definitely recommend this venue.

It can be rated as a five star accommodation. Everything is here that you need to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast is exceptional; host has rapport with his guests; and the entire townhouse contains lovely furnishings.

Had a lovely stay at the Townhouse. The decor was interesting and tasteful. So much attention to detail in the room - complementary scones on arrival and beautiful shortbread biscuits everyday. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and beautifully cooked. One of the best true B&Bs we have stayed in the UK.

Every aspect of my stay at the townhouse was first class. My room was extremely well appointed, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. This beautiful B&B is set in a lovingly renovated stone built townhouse, facing a park. It is well located close to both the train station the centre of Perth. The overall hospitality provided by David was in all aspects absolutely superb. This B&B should definitely be your first choice when you are planning a visit to Perth.

We had a lovely stay here. David is the most convivial host and his breakfasts delicious. Stay, you won’t be disappointed.

We were greeted by the host and shown to a room overlooking the park. It was beautifully appointed with antiques and beautiful linens. He had set out scones, clotted cream and jam for our arrival. Breakfast the next morning started with fresh made croissants followed by excellent choices including a full Scottish breadfast.

It was wonderful. We would return in a heartbeat if we ever visit Scotland again. It is convenient to St. Andrews and the old course as well as a great stop before entering the Cairngorms National Park.

The Townhouse and its host, David, would deserve at least 6 stars… Pre-arrival Communication, the warm welcome, a room that goes far beyond any expectation, a helpful Restaurant Guide and a delicious breakfast freshly prepared to your order. Once again a perfect stay, Thank you, David!!!

Having stayed at The Townhouse several times l would highly recommend. David & Laurent's have a beautiful home, making all guests feel extremely welcome. Beds are super-comfortable, location is great, 10mins walk from bar's/restaurants. David's breakfast by is superb! It is value for money, clean and quiet.

David was very accommodating. The hotel is very stylish and well-appointed. The furniture, fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. The breakfasts are delicious.

The property has spacious rooms. Has onsite parking and is quite easy to find. Recommend u try to book the park view rooms. Breakfast also good value and home cooked on the spot by the Owner who doubles as the chef!!

We booked the Deluxe park view room, the room is huge with beaufitul furniture including two very comfortable chairs, perfectly placed to make use of the lovely park views. The whole house is perfectly "curated" by David and Laurent, impressive art and furnishings not to mention all the little details which just make it all perfect. The house is comfortable, exceptionally clean and the breakfast is the very best you will tatse, my allergies were catered for and nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly and genuine hosts. We had planned to go out for a drink in the evening as we had a large lunch but ended up staying in the beautiful room with a few glasses of wine and some snacks instead, very relaxing. We had an exellent stay and will be returning we enjoyed all the little extras in the room and quality local produce like scones, shortbread, chocolate, speciality coffee and teas, thanks guys x

David greeted us with a warm welcome before we even entered the house, as we passed by several songbirds enjoying the bird feeders in the garden. The room came with all the amenities we could need and then some, and we were able to relax with a pot of tea and a scone before continuing our adventures in Perth. The room was stunning and came with a great view of the park, and breakfast was delicious and David was very considerate of our specific food requirements. We wish we had stayed longer than our short visit, but would happily book in again another time.

The Townhouse in Perth was our «  coup de cœur » lodging in Scotland! Warm welcome, elegant and tastefully decorated bedroom, with many surprises… In the morning, hearty and delicious breakfast cooked with care by the owner…The environment is quiet, with a large Park just in front for families and even bagpipes players! Everything was perfect and we highly recommend this nice place!

Everything start to finish. The greeting, the host David was very welcoming, the facilities were amazing, very private and personall, the food wow what can I say perfect👌. No faults at all.

Noch nie hat mich eine Unterkunft derart begeistert. Die Vorabkommunikation war perfekt, mit allen benötigten Infos. Wir wurden so höflich empfangen, bekamen viele Tipps. Das Zimmer liebevoll dekoriert und eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wurde vom Hausherren à la carte frisch gekocht.

The best B&B ever. This is the second time I have stayed and it never fails to impress. Great attention to detail, friendly host, clean, and beautifully presented home, with some amazing finishing touches.

This is our second stay here and it was even better. So many small touches and excellent customer service make the Townhouse stand out. David and Laurent went out of their way to make sure the bed was as comfortable as it could be. This time I was able to sit in the lovely small garden in the evening sun, listening to birdsong and perfumed with lilac. It was heaven.

David, the owner, greeted us on arrival. Our room was gorgeous and very large with a lovely view of the park across the street. We had 2 chairs facing the park where we had tea and the incredible shortbread cookies left in our room each day. The breakfasts were excellent with made-to-order eggs. This place was a luxury! The attention to detail was amazing. Towel warmers, soaps, tea service in room, chocolates and home made scones, butter and jam. I always enjoy staying at the townhouse Perth on my way either to or from Skye. It really is the small details which makes each stay quite special. It starts with a personal welcome from David as you park your car. Speciality teas as you settle into your room. With complimentary scones, jam and clotted cream. To say nothing of the quality bed linen, feather pillows and comfy mattresses ensuring a restful night's sleep. And it culminates in an inventive, delicious cooked breakfast to get you on your way. A real gem in the heart of Perth. The details are so well thought out.

Just about as perfect as it gets. Beautiful, spacious room and David thought of everything, lots of additional touches, including Angus, the door stopper. Fabulous bed. Most excellent breakfast, cooked to order. Great location -- walking distance to excellent restaurants, close to train station. David, the host, thought of absolutely everything. We were greeted at the door, where he assisted in getting our suitcases up the stairs then gave some some information about breakfast the next day and basic operations. Our room was large and beautifully appointed. Scones with clotted cream and homemade raspberry jam were laid on the coffee table, shortbread cookies and a selection of beautiful teas, hot chocolate and coffee with milk on another table, and chocolates on the bede with a cartoon image of the hosts on them (so cute!) and pillow spray for a restful night. The Bed and pillows were dreamy, two comfortable chairs to lounge in, gorgeous bathroom appointed with everything you could need. Decadent. Then the rest of the Townhouse.... art from all over the world on the walls, sculptures here and there, antiques everywhere, flowers... honestly, just wow. BREAKFAST! Again, wow, David greets you directs you to a table with warm croissants, then brings fruit salad and coffee. He then takes your order and cooks a variety of eggs (Benedict, classic Scottish, beautiful omelettes). David is gracious, humorous and helpful. What a treat. I wish we had another night to be spoiled and to enjoy it all.

That I couldn't stay longer...

David and Laurent are excellent hosts, providing just the right amount of personal attention and advice whilst being unobtrusive. No detail is missed and the breakfast is unsurpassed. The property is charming with the ambience of an elegant and comfortable Scottish home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very glad we elected to stay at the Townhouse in Perth rather than in over-touristed and hilly Stirling. The walk from Perth Station is a flat, easy 8 minute walk with luggage. We did a daytrip in the train to Stirling and were able to spend 4 hours at Stirling Castle. We would highly recommend a stay at this property.

The rooms are exquisite, the beds so comfortable, everything you could possibly need and more is supplied, even a cream tea and chocolates and pillow spray for a good sleep. Breakfast is amazing and an entertaining morning. Highly recommend you choose The Townhouse if staying in Perth.

The host David is so welcoming and fun. We love his breakfast so much we cancelled our next day brunch to have his breakfast again! The bed and sheets are high quality better than many hotels. Which I’ve been to a lot of hotels. This bed is solid.

Our first Scotland Stay was so special. ~ a bed & breakfast townhouse, with a welcoming, witty and caring host David. The room is so much fun and the bed is better than many hotels. The hearty breakfast cooked by the host David himself every morning made me cancelled other reserved brunches. Lots of love and care in the details ~ The rooster door blocker, the 🗝️ looking key, the house made jam, the not-the-average-B&B bed sheets, vintage furniture collection….. And the zen garden 🌷🪻🌼 Such a great impression starting our trip!

A very welcome return to this magnificent Bed and Breakfast. Great personal attention from your hosts David and Laurent. Beautifully furnished bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Lots of thought has gone into the personal touches and extra treats/surprises you will find in your chosen room. Cooked to order breakfast prepared by David is superb. Please note there are some steps from the parking at the rear of the property to gain access to the main house.

The bed was very firm but others may like that. The room was lovely but there's a lot of stuff in it.

David was the most friendly and hospitable of hosts. The room was simply stunning - beautifully appointed with stunning views overlooking the park. Breakfast was home-made (by David) and delicious. One of the best stays we have had.

A wonderful location, fabulous room in a beautiful heritage property overlooking South Inch park. The house is beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and breakfast served by David was a real treat made even more enjoyable by his quick and amusing ripostes. We loved Perth and would not hesitate to stay at the Townhouse should we return.

What a great place - good location, central but quiet despite proximity to railway line and hence station. Entertaining host (we only met one). Room was a good size, with interesting furniture, extremely comfortable bed and little touches like scones and jam plus fresh milk for a cup of tea. Good shower with separate bath, and a decent hairdryer. All spotless. Breakfast had good choice of food and drinks and was beautifully cooked. Free parking available. Very good value, we’d definitely stay again.

The property is gorgeous and a great location. Super clean, well decorated and very luxurious. David is brilliant chat, and makes a great vegan breakfast. Everything is thought out, from the warm welcome to the little in room treats (like biscuits, chocolate and fruit!). This is the first time I’ve stayed somewhere and actually felt it was worth the price.
