Travellerhome Angkor

Basic place to stay. No coffee maker of any kind. They will do anything they can to help you. The hotel is old the ac barely works. The bathroom and shower would fail building codes in the USA . I would stay again but not with my kids.

Fantastic staff. Always very friendly, and very helpful. Great, quick check in and out. Always fun to chat with. The hotel bar is great as well. Good location, close to bars and restaurants. Overall, great hotel with awesome staff.

Every staff is very helpful

Sheets and floors were clean, but that's about it. Property is literally falling apart - shelves missing but brackets still attached. Beige lampshades black with dirt, filthy light switches, limited hot water, cloudy pool, ratty pool chairs.... SO many better options in Siem Reap. Staff was nice, but that can't make up for all the faults here.

Good value for a budget type hotel. Staff was very nice. Very walkable to Pub Street and markets.

Very great place for a basic stay. Also great location and staff

สะดวก เป็นกันเอง เหมือนอยู่บ้าน แท็กซี่ก็บริการดีราคาถูก

Minutes walk away from pub street and the old Market. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bed are really comfy. Nice swimming pool and happy hour at the bar is from 10am to 6pm, with cocktails at 2$. I will recommend this hotel.

Great value and great massage. On a lively but quiet street very close to the Pub Street madness. The room was small but comfy. I had a single room. Very clean. They offer a massage area in front of the hotel where I had a very good Thai massage. The staff were courteous and helpful. I will stay at this hotel when I return to Siem Reap.

Great place close to the Pub Street. Very nice pool with bar, very convenient after hot day spent visiting temples. Perfect location. Recommended

Rooms could be a little nicer, but good value for the money and close to Pub Street and Night Markets. Hotel bar and pool is also happening on nice days.

Nice location. Close to Pub Street and many other food/ entertainment options.

Nice hotel comfortable stay nice pool area with a joying bar.staff helpfull.5min walk to pub street.

Great welcome, good location and good value. Having a swimming pool is also plus.

First time staying here. The service was amazing. They were very accommodating and have everything you need for a good deal, especially arranging transportation. The only issue we had was that our balcony door doesn't close and lock properly. Other than that, our room had everything we needed. Thank you guys!

Positives - Rooms are clean and spacious, the morning breakfast is a good add-on feature as we had to go touring very early in the morning and this came handy. Room is equipped with basic toiletries and a bar fridge. Negatives - In spite of an email confirmation there was no one to pick up at the airport. The hotel had claimed for a free airport pickup.

Wonderful stay, very friendly staff and great location. Will definitely come back if back in Siem Reap :)

Great location and amazing service. The room was small and a little outdated, but if you only need an affordable place to spend the night, close to everything and with awesome service, this is the place. There's also a pool and a cool bar.

Local market large pub street and resuarants nearby

The exterior of the hotel is nice but the room is very old. And our toilet flush is not good, it almost over-flowed one day. But the location of the hotel is excellent, it is walking distance to the night market and many eateries yet away from the noise. For the packed breakfast, it will be good if we can have some selections. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Hope the hotel can consider to renovate their rooms and it will be perfect.

The room was fine for my purposes. After my room change, it was less of a hike up the stairs (3.5 stars for a hotel with no elevator?). It was quite basic and tight, but it was pretty clean and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Lukewarm hot water, but I understand this is normal in this city

Hotel facilities are ok but room is disappointing

The location is great, within steps of the night market, old market, and pub street. The room itself was sparse, with a rectangular hole in the bathroom wall for ventilation and an old box TV, but it was clean and adequate for my needs. The small hot water heater was inadequate, but the lukewarm water was better than at two other budget hotels, which made a difference during the recent cold spell. The service was also above average. Expensive for a budget hotel compared to Bangkok or even Yangon, but Siem Reap is a boomtown.

The picked me up from the airport for free. The check in was fast. Staff was friendly and always smiles and greets guest. A lot of thing to do in the area as well.

The location of the hotel was good but the room was not clean properly when we ask . The air conditional in my room was vey very noisy, which wasn't repair after my complained. The receptionists was friendly enough.

Close to Pub Street, friendly helpful staff and good coffee

First impression was that the hotel is small, dark and the room also very small (arrived late at night). The next day the picture was quite different. The hotel is extremely small, the yard and pool area rather cramped and narrow, the pool small - but I must say all pleasantly arranged with lying chairs, swings and well kept. The pool bar is a nice addition to the leasure area at the entrance. Suggest to book not the smallest room, it is claustrophobically small with nothing much than the bed and cupboard in it, no proper window, the toilet and shower in one space. All other, bigger rooms seem to have much more space, windows or balconies, and therefore much better! Overall the hotel is well kept, clean and the best of all- the reception staff is extremely friendly and helpful. In fact the best I have ever encountered around the world. Breakfast is on the menu, You choose Your option, the variety is there but perhaps a bit non-flexible version of it. Overall, the breakfast is good and sufficient. The side-steet where the hotel is located, is close to night market and Pub Streets, so very conveniently located, but quiet at night. Definately well worth the money and would recommend!

Great hotel about 3 min walk from pub street. Hotel provide free hotel pickup and we made arrangements with the hotel for the tuk tuk for the few days we visited Angkor Wat. Many restaurants nearby. Hotel has a nice little pool for my kid and a small bar that’s quite crowded on weekend nights with it’s 50cents draft beer.

it was a comfortable room and the staff were very helpful. The location was excellent as it was just a short walk to the bus stop back to Phnom Penh.

This hotel is in within minutes' walk to the Night market and the old market area and there are restaurants within 30 seconds walk, making it a great location to staying Siem Reap. The front entrance area to the hotel is really lovely and feels tranquil and the rooms, although a bit old, are adequate and clean. The biggest standout for this place is the service, the staff really go out of their way to look after you and ensure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay and beyond (such as helping you book transport for onward travels). The price is incredible for what you are getting.

Very nice staff and service

This is a nicely done, quiet, small hotel. The breakfast is excellent, and there is an on-site spa. The staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great - quiet, especially at night, and a five minute walk to the center of town. One caveat. We visited in the dry season. One afternoon, it rained moderately hard for less than an hour, and the street in front of the hotel was under 20 cm of water. Not sure about access during the wet season.

This was my second time staying here. The staff are just perfect 10 in terms of politeness and hospitality. They go all the way out to ensure the comfort of our stay. Tours were easy to arrange too. Strategic location. I should call it service from the heart. Thanks.

Amazing property close to pub street and night market equipped with beautiful garden and cozy ambiance. We booked 6 rooms. The rooms are nice and clean with basic amenities (fridge, warm shower, safe ,AC,wardrobe ,TV ) Cafe is very cozy but menu is limited. Massage spa is available till late night. This hotel is a good base for a family gateway as the hotel can arrange for transport and tours. The management is thoughtful and attentive. Their actions on small matters and details really made our stay a memorable one. We even get a small gift upon check out. What a surprised!!!Thank you to all the staffs for being caring and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

I really loved the place but my only issue was for over two days the WIFI did not work in my room on the fifth floor. This was only a problem because I need WIFI for work.

Excellent location. Great value. People very very nice. They made our experience unforgetable. Will dearly recommend.

The staff is increadible firendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely decorated and comfortable to a walking distance of most reataurants and bars.

I spent 3 nights at Travellerhome Angkor, and I was very pleased with my stay. I always felt safe here, and in the area, but the security station in front and the bars on the windows were a little unsettling. The bed was softer than anything I had in Thailand, and it was a nice change. They arranged for a tuk tuk to meet me at the airport, and then greeted me with a nice drink and fruit plate, which was very welcomed after a long day of travel. I had a very nice complimentary breakfast and fantastic coffee each morning. I met nice people from China and France dining in the restaurant. They were extra helpful in providing money exchanges and also breaking larger bills for me.

we had the most wonderful stay at the hotel everybody is so kind! the service is super ultra excellent fully recommended!

4D3N stay at Travellerhome Angkor. Very nice of them to provide a free one-way airport transfer! Staffs are amazing, every one of them are so polite and courteous, and goes extra mile to help you! Room is okay and clean. Bed is comy and soft. Toilet is okay, the only thing is that once you shower, it wets the whole toilet floor. Location wise is good as it's only 5 mins walk out to Pub Street / Night Market / Old Market (all within the area). Received 2 scarfs for souvenirs on my last day as well! Thank you for making my stay a wonderful one!

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location on a quiet street in a central area.

Good nice staff

Service at the front desk was amazing. They greet you with a warm welcome and a refreshing welcome drink. I found the location very convenient- it's just a few minute walk from pub street and the night market, but the hotel is on a quiet street. I planned to only stay one night, but extended my stay to four nights. The room itself was clean but small- I had the single room, and thought it was as advertised. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were extremely helpful. They were also able to arrange tours. Highly recommend the hotel because of the service and the location.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Pub street and also when going in the other direction there are lots of (cheaper) restaurants. A Smart Shop for buying a traveller SIM card is at the end of the street and an ATM is just 30 meters away. The staff organises a tuktuk for whatever tour you like (put on the room bill so less hassle with having single dollar bills ready) for reasonable rates. The breakfast menu is quite limited but tasty. Lunch and dinner menu prices are comparable to other restaurants with similar attention of the waiters. The rooms are newly painted. The bathrooms could use a touch up though everything is working fine. The beds have this kind of memory mattrasses that form after your body after some seconds. Not what I like but I had no trouble sleeping there.
