Location was good, rooms were large and comfortable, breakfast was functional and tasty, staff was good, helpful

AC was weak i thought but the staff provided a cooler upon request

Rooms are bit small compared to my previous stay at another Novotel. Not sure how the price was quoted and calculated. We thought we booked at good price for 3 nights. It when we were about to pay noticed that price was different on different days. 1st night was cheaper and paid nearly double price. Feel bit cheated as generally price is same for 3 nights. Would think twice before booking through booking.com and Novotel hotels. This never happened before when I booked through booking.com

one of my family has missed the flight and unable to join with us at hotel, and I requested for cancel of his bed and make all 3 members in one room with extra bed, and it was not possible at this hotel.

I have to admit I didn't stay in the hotel. I can see very good reviews from others. So it's about initial bad experience. I had not booked a hotel , my wife just had a surgery. So I and my little baby went around after online search in Agoda to the hotel for just an overnight stay and we would be leaving next morning. I asked to charge the agoda rate but the front desk person Mr Naved, insisted on paying at higher rate but was not polite about it. He could have been polite about it.

Breakfast was just fantastic. The staff at breakfast and room service were very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stacked.

Dont, and i mean just dont expect a reply to your emails or messages and no one picks up the phone if you try calling them. And the best part was the man during checkin at reception, he was like either overworked or underpaid. When i tried to put up a complaint he said maybe they were busy so they couldn’t take my calls, but id been calling them 6-7 times since 6 in the morning till around 3 pm when i checked in. And when i showed him the 5-6 messages and emails i had been sending for 4 days he simply said he would look into it and maybe they forgot to reply. It was like he least cared and just ment to say ‘take it or leave it’. He was showing such a sulking face. As a person who is travelling for the last 20 years and around 7-8 months a year and many a times i put up at guest houses in small towns ive never face such a cold and sulking person at checkin. I would simply never put up in Novotel as the experience was terrible and felt like he is doing me a favour by giving me a room.

I would like to sincerely appreciate the F&B team at Novotel Guwahati for their outstanding service and exceptional food. Every dish was incredibly delicious, full of flavor, and uniquely prepared. Each item had its own distinct taste, making every meal a wonderful experience. The quality and consistency of the food truly deserve appreciation. I would also like to commend the staff Mr.Rofiqul for being extremely courteous, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their warmth and professionalism made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for your hard work, dedication, and hospitality. We are regular guests at Novotel, Guwahati. Its always a gratifying experience dining at their all - day dining signature restaurant...Square. Apart from the chef's exquisite culinary skills, the dining staff displayed exemplary service. Namely, Lynti Wahlang, Rafigul and Nadir for their outstanding service. Lynti, was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu. attended an event at the banquet hall of Novotel Guwahati GS Road, and it was a wonderful experience. The banquet was well organized, spacious, and maintained to a high standard. The food was the highlight of the event—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There was a good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the desserts were especially delicious. The staff managed the event efficiently, ensuring everything was served on time and guests were well looked after. Overall, it was an excellent banquet experience with great food and professional service.

Most important thing a hotel can offer is customer service. Make the guest valued. Solve the problems. And at all times, maintain a very polite and helpful attitude. Novotel in Guwahati embodies all these. When we had a problem in the washroom in our alloted room, they tried to fix it immediately. They foresaw a delay in fixing, and upgraded us to suite room immediately. They were so profusely apologizing and super courteous because of this inconvenience. The breakfast, room (suite), cleanliness, etc. was top notch anyway.

Had an amazing experience at novotel. The front desk staff Dhruba was exceptionally good at service, he was very polite to us. Would love to visit again.

Amazing stay and the staff and the amazing behaviour

The staff was amazing especially Lyntibabha, she was asking throughout whether we want something or not, and was very soft, spoken and kind plus professional, I really liked my Stay. Thank you.

Hotel is nice staff is super friendly and welcoming. I really like the smell of this air freshner in here. And buffet is one of my favourite part about the hotel. Miss lyntibabha took care of me and my colleagues so well. She is very warm and kind she even gave us a special treat at the breakfast buffet.she has avery positive attitude and her smile is exceptionally sweet.

We selected this hotel as its well located. Right in the heart of all the action. Could just walk to any bar/lounge for dinner and event out. Decent breakfast options next day with an attentive staff. The rooms were good and quiet inspite of being on such a main road. Plenty of parking for our cars.

A front office that doesn't care. Flight late and had to rush to Kamakhya temple so that darshan time is not missed. Spoke to Krishna showed him my luggage with two requests (a) cut the ziplock plastic put by airlines (b) then deliver my bags to my room so that I can change and rush out for the temple. Went and showed him bags also. Result bags come after 30 min and it's evening now ziplock still there. Even after a few hours he couldnt bother less. The entry to the elevator was blocked during chek in because of some university event and not a single staff was bothered to ease out for guests staying. It's only a few hours and leaves a bad taste of how unconcerned the front office could be. Jayanta Das.

The staff were okay.

The hotel seems haunted, so many things are broken and damaged in the room. The hotel seems well understaffed. We stayed 7 nights and breakfast was same everyday. The location is really bad. It doesn't feel 5 star at all. Its spooky. Its a complete mess. I'd never visit again. I usually stay in vivanta and radisson. Wont make the mistake of choosing novotel again. The staff also seemed desperate for money. They asked us to clear our bill the second day. Vivanta and radissson we always cleared our bills on the very last day. Avoid the hotel its a mess and i feel its gonna shut down very soon. Its surviving through customers who only book meetings and lunch and dinner. The pool area seems abandoned. Imagine a 5 star hotel and they be like we do not serve drinks up there. So just avoid coz you pay the same amount and get vivanta or radisson.

I stayed in Guwahati Novotel, I loved their services staff were really nice they were polite, at the reception Nayan , Alina and anya were really sweet. Had a great time .

The higher floor also provided a quieter environment, away from street noise, which added to the overall comfort. The staff were courteous, friendly, and always willing to assist with any requests. Overall, the combination of a comfortable room, excellent city view, and supportive staff made for a very satisfying stay.
