This is very much a matter of you get what you pay for. For the price, it was incredible. Location was great. Parking across the road at the ship yard. Breakfast included (very basic).

The shower and bathrooms need a renovation, as they were quite visibly falling apart and moulding. There was no privacy at all in the bunks.

Ended up checking out 2 days early due to mosquitos in the dorm and hostel. I got bitten multiple times during the night.

The shares room was spacious. The hostel is organized and pretty.

Spacious female-only room. The staff provides ingredients for an easy breakfast (although I didn’t eat).

Old and worn out, but it’s low budget. Keep in mind the more lively area is up on a hill from the hostel location.

Il est interdit de parler avec d'autres guests après 23h, même en chuchotant à l'extérieur sur le balcon. Ce n'est précisé nulle part, et je n'ai pas apprécié la façon de la dire du gérant. A part ça, c'est une bonne guesthouse.

Der Balkon mit wunderbarer Aussicht und die nette Atmosphäre waren sehr ansprechend. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat mir anstatt meines Einzelzimmers mit rückwärtiger Aussicht das seeseitige Gruppenzimmer mit Kostenrückerstattung angeboten. Das fand ich super nett, ich wollte aber beim Einzelzimmer bleiben.

Das Einzelzimmer war leider sehr hellhörig, gegenüber lag die Männerdusche, es war ziemlich laut am Abend. Bei Regen stand am Fenstersims etwas Wasser. Ich fand sehr bedauerlich, dass man das Fenster nicht öffnen konnte, nur Festverglasung.

Accueil très chaleureux, jolie vue et grands dortoirs… il y’a même une palette d’aquarelle à disposition

Location overlooking harbour, best view in town. Hot consistent water. Solid beds and privacy screens. Luggage storage good. Kitchen facilities good Breakfast is eggs(!) and toast & jam with coffee for those interested.

Slightly thin mattress. Not always manned, sometimes rely on self check in.

The location, the balcony, the size of the bed and the room were amazing.

The only concern is the shower room. It wasn’t convenient to say the least.

My favorite stay during 2.5 weeks on Jeju Island! Excellent location, view, bedroom, breakfast, and laundry!!

3년만에 다시 찾았는데 여전히 바다뷰가 좋았다. 테라스에서 바다보며 아침 먹을수 있다. 원두커피머신이 새로 생겨서 토스트와 함께 맛있게 즐길수 있었다. 그동안 삼촌이 좀 늙으셔서 맘이 짠 했다. 그자리 그대로 운영하고 계셔서 감사했다. 오래동안 건강하시길 바란다.

Sea view and amazing sun setting . There were delicious bread , eggs , peanut butter , jam etc like a buffet you can make bread toast by yourself it’s so interesting. There is a coffee machine too.

I was unable to use washing machine because they told me that you don’t have enough time to dry it . Because you stay only one night. I think that I could use washing machine if I stay two nights or more.

La vista desde el dormitorio compartido de mujeres es hermosa, y la pieza también muy espaciosa.

El personal un poco serio pero si se le pedía ayuda estaba disponible.

도미토리룸내 욕실이 없다는 점이 아쉽지만, 알고 선택한거라 사용이 불편하진 않았습니다

Atmosfera gradevole all'interno e camerate pulite. Reception non sempre presente, ma, se presente, molto disponibile e corretta. Prezzo imbattibile per un ostello

Non facilmente individuabile l'ingresso. I bus non sono molto vicini per chi ha zaino pesante

Great views over harbour and with outside balcony to enjoy views. Clean rooms with big beds. Eggs and toast provided to cook your own breakfast. Good location for diving.

Beds were hard with thin mattress. Kitchen not very clean and was stinky with open bins not emptied regularly.

C'est vrai que la vue est très bien depuis le dortoir et la terrasse, que le petit déjeuner est bien, et que ce n'est pas très cher. L'hôte était là pour m'accueillir et répondre à mes questions, et m'a laissé faire plusieurs machines puisque je suis restée longtemps. Mais c'est aussi parce qu'il y a des petits défauts. Ils ne sont pas rédhibitoires mais méritent d'être cités.

Ca se paye un peu : le port est un peu excentré du centre ville (il faut remonter la colline pour arriver au centre et à la plupart des arrêts de bus, c'est environ 20 min de marche ce qui n'est pas toujours très agréable avec la chaleur). Niveau propreté, ce n'est pas catastrophique, mais ce n'est pas trop ça non plus. C'est surtout que les équipements font un peu vieillots, notamment les douches qui sont séparées par de simples rideaux et pas jusqu'en bas, mais aussi les tables de la terrasse qui ont pris un gros coup d'humidité. Dans la cuisine c'est pas idéal niveau propreté. Dans le dortoir, les rideaux gagneraient à être plus occultants, pour garantir un peu plus d'intimité entre les voyageuses.

Bon séjour à seom gueshouse, le proprio est sympathique, la chambre pour filles est très grande avec une belle vue et était très confortable, la chambre était très propre. Les espaces communs (salons, cuisine....) sont bien pensés et agréables.

J'ai hésité à mettre 7, au lieu de 8 car il y a quand même pour moi plusieurs gros points négatifs : La salle de bain pour les filles n'est vraiment vraiment pas propre, dans la dernière douche, le long du mur se trouve une colonie d'insectes et je ne recommande pas de rester plus que deux trois nuits dans cette auberge à cause justement de la salle de bain. J'ai évité de me laver les cheveux parce que je souhaitais vraiment passer le moins de temps possible dedans. L'entrée est difficile à trouver et est un peu glauque au premier abord (immeuble qui semble désaffecté) mais bon l'ascenseur marche et une fois arrivé à l'étage de l'auberge tout est ok

I really enjoyed my stay, this accommodation has such a beautiful view !! 😍 Common areas are great too and the host is a very nice person ! I recommend this place if you want to stay near Seogwipo in a really affordable accommodation ✨

It was an amazing stay. I prolonged many times and stayed for 10 days eventually :) The host is amazing, super helpful and speaks English. He put a lot of effort in maintaining this place. Beds are super comfy and linens are clean and snells nicely. There is free breakfast as well as delicious coffee. Location is perfect and the view!!! OMG!! IT is the best. And I have really met amazing ppl there, we socialise. There is also a free washing mashine and a dryer, ad well as a hair dryer and cosmetics. I will come back in the future!

Location was good & the view was great. My room overlooked the water

The layout of the guesthouse was unusual. The rooms wrapped around the sitting area. You could only interact with other guests before 10 pm as there was no other area to sit without making a noise. This is good for the very quiet traveller. I am not criticizing the guesthouse as I am used to places where you can meet & interact with other guests in a separate area. Due to a few fractures in my back I found the bed was very hard. Overall, as I said, if you are a quiet traveller, this is a good place to stay.

Location is ok (downhill from everything & kind of hard to find). Price is cheap

Blood stains on the bedding & the host came and raised his voice at me for sitting in a common area at 11:00-11:30pm after he ‘has been watching me the whole time’ (I was watching a YouTube video with headphones in. Just rude overall & the facilities are dirty.

Nothing special

I only initially booked one night, but ended up staying three nights because Seom Guesthouse is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and there is everything you need. There is free breakfast with eggs, bread, jam and peanut butter. There are many shared communal spaces to study or socialise and relax, including a balcony with views to the sea. It was a quiet period, but I can imagine many guests will stay here during the peak travel season.

I love the view also location, tranqulity and peaceful far from hustle bustle city, but near from everything like bus stop and places for eat also walkable to some places to visit like waterfalls, really enjoy my time here, recommended place to stay when you are in Seogwipo/Jeju, Thanks ~ Gamsahabnida :))

Firm beds, shared showers are interesting, its basic but for that price you cant go wrong

It was in a great location with a lovely view of the harbour. The common area was nice and even had a coffee machine. The room and bedding was clean.

The showers and bathroom were actually quite disgustingly dirty, which was very unpleasant. It definitely made us consider leaving early despite everything else about the place being great.

Bathrooms, dirty toilet paper was everywhere, it was dusty like no one has ever made an effort to clean. It is cheap but it doesn't has to be unhygienic.

The seaside location has good views and it’s close to the Blue Line if you’re cycling the Jeju Fantasy Bike Path. It is also close to the island and Saeseom bridge for night walks. There’s also a CU right next door if you want to get something from.

The building is not the most obvious of places but isn’t that difficult once you know it. The accomodation manager is straight forward but may come off as not as welcoming - I’d say just neutral. Asked for recommendations to eat but didn’t get any though not a big deal.
