Rien ne vient à l'esprit

Super accueil par le propriétaire qui parle très bien anglais. Google disait qu’il n’y avait pas d’autobus pour se rendre à la gare et c’était faux et il nous a aidé. Si jamais c’était pas le cas il serait venu nous porter. Surtout ne vous fiez pas à l’apparence extérieure. Car, l’intérieur est super. Les chambres sont rénové et grande. Lit très confortable. Je recommande fortement. Vous êtes à 8 minutes de marche de la rue des restaurants et magasins. On avait pris les déjeuner est c’était excellent et tu en a pour ton argent.

Three rooms for onsen that are meant to be used privately, so that while you and your companions are using a room, other guests will not come in and share it with you. They will have to wait after you finish. Also, the staff members are quick to respond to my enquiries and nice to interact with.

The toilet in my hotel room is a bit too small.

スタッフさんが、とても良い。 お風呂も３箇所貸切で掛け流し。 ご飯も美味しいし、リセットできた

喫煙所をもう少し綺麗にしてほしいかな。 あと、自販機早く直したほうが。やっぱりぬるい缶コーヒーは、おいしくない（故障中。冷えてませんの、張り紙はキチンとありました）

ロケーションが非常に良かった。貸し切りの源泉かけ流しの風呂が最高でした。

貸切できるおかげで1人で気兼ねなくお風呂に入ることができました。 全部埋まっていて入れないのではと心配しましたが意外にすんなり入れて良かったです。 部屋の設備も綺麗で新しく気持ちよく使えました。 コーヒーやお茶のサービスも嬉しく利用できました。 私はゲームをしないので残念でしたが、息子なら喜んだだろうなと思いました笑

137,000yen is far too much for a worn and outdated hotel. There is a new renovated wing, maybe this is better but we hadn’t the option to choose.

観光スポットから程よい距離で、散歩がてら散策出来て良かった。また最近多くなったバイキング形式の食事ではなく部屋毎に食事を用意していただき落ち着いて食べられ、子供時代の旅行先での食事風景を思い出し、良い意味で懐かしくも感じました。

たまたまなのかわかりませんが、お風呂が熱くて入れない時がありました。ただ貸切で利用できる為、家族には好評でした。 また食事はボリュームがあり美味しくいただきましたが、自分のように50代以上では少し多いと感じました。事前に多少調整できるのもいいかも知れません。

The room was great and the host is very welcoming and speaks plenty of english which makes it easy to get recommendations and ask questions. The room had an old school Nintendo which we played for hours at the end of each night. This place is only about 5-7 minutes from the main area and you just have to walk down the hill and follow the path. You will see plenty of people wearing different styles of Yukata and i really liked that this place had some for us to wear and you can rent sandals for a few dollars a day.

I did wish the private Onsens were a bit bigger because it did say it was big enough for 2-4 people, but we ended up only doing one person each. 2-4 people could fit though, depending how much personal space you're comfortable with.

Magique ! Personnel extra, disponible et parle bien Anglais. Cet hôtel c'est un peu comme chez nous. Très propre et confortable. Le plus c'est les onsens privés, on peut profité en famille tous ensemble.

This is definitely the best hotel I have been in my life (apart from that time I was given a room in a 5 stars hotel due to an airplane issue). Room in perfect Japanese style: futons, sliding paper doors, etc. And most of all a mega screen, couch and Super Nintendo in the room! Not to mention 3 onsen bathtubs available and a recreational common room with PlayStation and other games. Fantastic.

As advertised, breakfast is strictly Japanese traditional, which is not entirely ideal for me (while my wife was happy about it, as whe wolfed down fish, soup etc). Only after eating it, we were also offered a coupon for a cafeteria in town, but at that point it was too late. If I can give a piece of advice, they could mention the possibility of this coupon directly in the website, as an alternative to the traditional breakfast.

The room was extremely neat and comfortable. The baths were super relaxing and the leisure room was fun and cozy. We stayed here as a road trip stopover, we regretted only staying one night!

Nothing we didn’t like!

Nous sommes restés une nuit en couple. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner étaient très généreux en quantité et très intéressant (en particulier pour les étrangers qui ne sont pas habitués). L'endroit n'est pas exactement traditionnel mais souhaite volontairement dégager une ambiance plutôt retro / vintage peut-être plus moderne que d'autres établissement. C'était quelque chose de très appréciable et original (présence de vielle consoles de jeux vidéos). Le personnel était très sympathique et accueillant (nous avons eu une présentation des lieux de visite principaux sur une carte à l'accueil). La chambre était très agréable et confortable. On se sent vraiment chez soi. Nous avions eu un bain privé dans la chambre mais il y avait aussi trois autres bains libre-service avec l'eau de Kusatsu et c'était un vrai bonheur pour nous. L'établissement est bien placé et nous a permis d'accéder facilement aux autres bains de Kusatsu. Nous avions presque envie de rester plus longtemps et nous sommes repartis avec l'envie de revenir.

Honestly, everything was awesome. We were in may, the weather was nice. The location, the rooms, the "common" room with arcades and massage chair, private onsens - really really nice. The staff was super kind, answered all our questions and gave us some advice on nearby attractions. We received a welcoming after-onsen drink and upon check-out we received a free coffee ticket in a nearby coffee place. We were allowed to leave our luggage after check-out for a few hours as well. Awesome hospitality! I loved the retro style of the Ryokan, rooms were spacious and clean. There were free kimonos to wear for onsen or just a regular walk in a town. Breakfast was very good, we were starting the day with full stomachs ready to explore the lovely town of Kusatsu. I will definitely come back during winter as it's probably a whole different experience!

Maybe letting some mosquitos into the room lol 😆 but the windows have screens, so if you're careful they won't bother you.

離巴士站大約10分鐘的路程，環境清幽。 服務人員非常友善，英文可以通。 入住時飯店老闆非常親切的帶我們認識環境，介紹往來景點的交通方式。 有三個私人湯屋可供使用，也有一些復古懷舊的遊戲設備。 房間寬敞舒適。日式早餐非常精緻好吃，check out之後可以寄放行李。退房後，當飯店主人得知我們帶著行李要前往巴士站時，很熱心的主動開車送我們。 我們在這邊有很愉快的住宿體驗。

ファミコンが置いてあり面白かった サプライズで用意したケーキが大変美味しく、残した時用に箱を残してくださるなどの配慮も素晴らしかった！

景色については絶景とは言えなかった。

Eidaya est un lieu très cosy, on s’y sent comme chez soi ! On y est très bien reçu, par un personnel très agréable, les chambres sont très confortables et les repas excellents, on s’est régalés ! Hôtel à taille humaine, à 10 minutes du centre de Kuratsu. L’hôtel offre aussi 3 onsens privatifs et c’est très appréciable !

Замечательный небольшой отель с тремя индивидуальными горячими ваннами (онсен) с термальной водой, ими можно пользоваться без записи круглосуточно - дверь открыта, значит свободно! Очень горячая вода! Традиционные красивые номера, бесплатно предоставляют юката. Как приветственный бонус дали бутылочку холодного молочного коктейля в номер, после ванны то, что нужно! В номере есть Sega поиграть. В отеле также сервируют традиционные японские завтрак и ужин, интересный опыт! Красивый парк поблизости.

Одной ночи в отеле было мало! :)

ご飯もヘルシーで美味しいし、追加料金なしで貸し切り風呂も入れて、なにより部屋に温泉があるお部屋に泊まったのでたくさん入ってお肌がスベスベになった気がします！旅館の方々の優しさがにじみでていて、また泊まりたいなと思いました！

We spent there really amazing time! Clean, very comfortable room, amazing breakfest, we also loved 3 onsens on-site and common living room space. The staff was extremly helpful, they allowed us to check in 40 mins early and when we were leaving, due to heavy rain, they offered us a car drop off to the bus station, thank you so much!!

部屋の中は リノベーションされていて、非常に快適な滞在になりました。

ロケーションがあまり良くないのと、フロント周りが雑然としていて、匂いが気になり、古い感じがするので、できたらもうちょっとすっきり感を出した方がいいかと思います。しかし、暖かい雰囲気を出したいとの経営者の判断とも取れるので、好みが分かれるかもしれません。

麦茶やお水などが置いてあって気軽に飲めたし、お湯やレンジもあったからとても助かった！昔ながらの遊びなどもできて快適だった

Very good 3 private onsen rooms, plus a retro game console for guests

We upgraded to the Annex twin room, and it was highly worth it! I would describe it as a little town house with two levels. The main floor had a small living room, private onsen bath with a shower head next to it, and a vanity sink area. Upstairs was a loft-style bedroom with two full-size beds and a toilet room. The living room had an old-school Nintendo which my husband loved. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning which was very authentic Japanese style. The staff were very friendly and kind. The walk to the main area of town wasn't bad at all, although it is a bit hilly if you have any mobility concerns.

My husband has a size 12 shoe, and there weren't really shoes to fit him at the main hotel area. But the staff were very apologetic and kind. I think anyone over 6'2" will have trouble finding clothes and shoes to fit them!

永田屋に宿泊させていただきました。 スタッフの皆さまがとても早朝、5時過ぎから朝食の準備をされている様子が伝わり、そのご尽力には頭が下がります。 一方で、お部屋は昭和の雰囲気が感じられ、趣があるとも言えますが、寝具についてはやや年季を感じる部分があり、もう少し快適さが向上するとさらに良い印象になるかと思います。 また、共用の温泉浴室については、清掃のタイミングがやや行き届いていないと感じる場面もありましたので、改善されるとより気持ちよく利用できると感じました。 全体として、スタッフの方々の努力が印象的なお宿でしたので、今後さらに快適性が向上することを期待しております。

We booked the private building for our stay and it was very comfortable where you enjoy your peace and space. The staffs were exceptionally hospitable and able to communicate in English. We really love our stay and would really look forward to going back again.

There’s quite a steep slope to walk back from the main onsen town, just have to take it slow. You can also arrange for a quick transfer service from bus terminal to the property which is about 3 mins away by car.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Aufenthaltsraum mit Retro Spielen, Massagesessel und Getränken. Man merkt, dass hier jemand viel Herzblut rein gesteckt hat. Toll ist auch, dass man für sich selbst Privatonsen hat. Wir würden wieder kommen.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, we had a luxurious room with a private onsen, the room was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The room had sockets and lights in all the right places, 2 washbasins and very comfortable couch and beds.

The distance between the main hotel and the booked place was large with the place we booked being far from the city centre. This wasn't clear when booking.

The room was super large, the staff spoke fluent English and was very welcoming and the private onsen was incredible!

1) It takes about a 15 minutes walk to reach the centre of Kusatsu Onsen, this was the only actual downside; 2) The toilet was on the upper floor, while the only sink was on the lower floor: this was not very practical
