This property really surprised me. Exceptionally clean, well maintained and the food was great. Above all else, every single one of the staff members were extremely nice, helpful and welcoming. They always had a smile on their face, and said yes to every request without hesitation. I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful location. All of the staff were so helpful and lovely. They do really nice take away breakfast boxes if you are doing the sunrise at the temple. Rooms are very comfortable and clean with a nice view. Great dining options on site.

Surprised they had no shuttle offerings to the temple and the price of a taxi to the temple is wildly overpriced compared to typical rates for a short drive as such.

De geur in het hotel, overal van die vieze luchtverfrissers. Het hotel is heel erg gehorig, we vroegen om een rustige kamer, maar je hoort alles wat op de gang gebeurt (om 22.30 uur roomservice) stoelen op de kamer boven je schuiven en een baby in de kamer naast je.

Personnel aux petits soins, raffinement, chambre magnifique et spacieuse, lobby superbe, restaurant délicieux et petit déjeuner extraordinaire... J'ai adoré mon séjour là bas !

1. The staffs are helpful 2. Deluxe double room was spacious enough to accommodate an extra bed for my child 3. The Location is in a beautiful green rural area. Great Borobudur temple, Punthuk setumbu, Gereja ayam (Bukit Rheuma) are nearby this hotel 4. Sunrise at Enam Langit (there is shuttle service from the Hotel to Enam Langit).

1. The price is quite expensive when compared to other hotels in the area (I know, this one is Plataran hehehe...) 2. Minimum spending at Patio and Tiga Dari.

Staff sangat ramah, very helpfull. Sarapan & makanan bervariasi, rasanya ok. Viewnya sangat asri dan kids corner lengkap. Ada tempat bermain anak2 yang menarik dan mini zoo.

Saya pesan kamar dengan view pegunungan..tapi dari balkonnya tidak bisa terlihat gunungnya karena tertutup pohon kelapa. Sangat disayangkan.. Kamar mandi deluxe lbh baik dipisah antara shower n bathtub, agar lebih nyaman.

Tempat yg nyaman untuk liburan, banyak pilihan menu breakfast, kamar yg nyaman n bersih, dekat dengan candi Borobudur jika ingin melihat sunrise.

C'est mon 2e séjour (le 1er, en juin 2024) donc si je suis revenue c'est parce que cet hôtel m'avait laissé un merveilleux souvenir et que je rêvais d'y retourner. J'ai retrouvé la beauté des lieux (hall, restaurant, piscine, jardin et chambre) ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. Je me suis régalée encore une fois aux buffets des petits-déjeuners et à l'heure du thé (chaque jour le buffet était servi dans un lieu différent dans le jardin ce qui était charmant)! J'ai expérimenté le SPA et j'ai été ravie de la qualité des soins donnés dans un ravissant salon situé au 6e étage. Que dire de plus, le délicat parfum dans le hall et les couloirs de l'hôtel donnant une impression de pureté et de sophistication. Et à la nuit tombée, les éclairages de la façade et des jardins, le chant des grenouilles, rendant celle-ci romantique à souhait. Plataran se trouve dans la campagne. Il est agréable de s'y promener à pied et de revenir de Borobudur en charrette à cheval (voir marché local). Un grand Merci et je recommande cet hôtel!

La musique d'ambiance dans les couloirs dès 6h du matin jusqu'à 22h... qui s'entendait dans la chambre même quand j'étais couchée (pourquoi si tôt, pourquoi si tard?)

people smoking in the dinner area ruined dinner for me. the room smelled like smoke to, coming in from the vents, had a hard time sleeping one night because of it. my clothes smelled like smoke the next day. maybe they need to install smoke detectors in rooms.

Mooi sfeervol ingericht hotel met prachtige, ruime kamers! Heerlijk eten, wel erg rustig in restaurants. Sunrise arrangement was een zeer bijzondere ervari g. We voelden ons vorstelijk ontvangen en bediend. 😊

Beautiful setting. Great staff who were all extremely polite and helpful.

The design of the shower / bathtub made showering awkward and inevitably wet the floor of the bathroom. The toilet paper could be a little thicker as well

L'extrême gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel. L'écoute attentive de la directrice de l'établissement qui à la suite d'un petit désagrément nous a surclassés dans une suite. L'hôtel en lui-même, très agréable et situé dans un site enchanteur. Un séjour dont nous nous souviendrons avec grand plaisir. Merci à toute l'équipe!

The hotel is are very comfortable and stylish, staff is amazing and took really great care of us, including a welcome attention for my wife’s birthday. Breakfast is great as is the pool and which hotel has its own charming amusement park… amazing! Make sure you book the complimentary shuttle to Enam Langit upfront to view the Borobodur sunrise (note that taking breakfast there is mandatory with an extra charge)

Everything was exceptional, but the quality of the food and spa was a tad below expectation compared to other experiences we had in Java.

Unser Aufenthalt im Plataran Heritage Borobudur war von Anfang bis Ende einfach traumhaft. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, und zu unserer Freude bekamen wir beim Check-in sogar ein Upgrade. Der Service war makellos – jedes Teammitglied war herzlich, aufmerksam und hat wirklich alles getan, um uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Nach einem unglücklichen Ausrutscher in den Reisterrassen konnte mir auf spontane Rückfrage an der Rezeption kurzerhand eine professionelle Schuhreinigung organisiert werden, so dass meine Schuhe am nächsten Tag wieder startklar waren und wie neu aussahen. Das Essen war köstlich, und meine Schwester, die Veganerin ist, wurde mit viel Kreativität und Sorgfalt bekocht. Auch der Transfer zurück nach Yogyakarta am Abreisetag verlief reibungslos. Alles hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, wir hätten uns nichts Besseres wünschen können. Ein rundum perfektes Erlebnis.

We stayed here for a total of three nights. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely rooms and superb ambiance and decor. The staff is incredibly friendly that truly made the difference. The beds were heavenly, and the chocolates every evening were a delightful touch. The free shuttle to the temple is also a great perk! And to top it all off, there’s an included afternoon tea at 4:00 PM. We were lucky that it rained once, because then the spot for afternoon tea, overlooking a rice field on the property, was absolutely phenomenal. There’s plenty to do for the kids as well a cool playground, animals, and a tennis/basketball court. In short, highly recommended!

This is a stunning property with private villas in a gorgeous setting within view of the iconic heritage monument , Borobudur which is also only 10 min. Upon checking in you are invited to a WhatsApp group that allows you to make any requests including shuttle service and bookings of excursions. Upon landing I had to make dinner reservations for 40 people the next day and they didn’t even bat an eye. They simply provided me with options and the booking was made within the hour. The villas are large, and beautiful and as my sister mentioned provided one of the best sleep iour entire journey. Indulge yourself and stay here

The hotel is conveniently near the Borobudur temple and well served by amazing restaurants such as The Stupa and Patio Colonial. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, and we look forward to the daily afternoon sweet treats. But what really made us so impressed was the faithful service of the staff. We will miss this lovely hotel!

The lighting in the bedroom was T oo dim. And they should have warmer lighting color instead of daylight.

Second stay in 6 months with another exceptional experiences. Love every aspect of the hotel.

Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough. The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful! Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days! Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

I wish there were 6 stars to give. One of the genuinely great world hotels.

A Wonderful Stay Very cosy and clean hotel. The front desk staff were always helpful and ready to assist with anything. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety. The pool was lovely, and the location is ideal—just 10 minutes from the temple. The hotel is set within a large park, perfect for familie with kids(was not my case), with great spots for children: a mini zoo, basketball and badminton courts, a playroom, and more. Don’t miss the Patio Restaurant – it was absolutely magical!

We liked the Colonial architecture, and the size of our rooms was very spacious. Great views of the rice fields, its lush greenery landscapes. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Nice variety for us. Also the staff were very welcoming and it had a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel.

The best hospitality there can be of the whole crew!!!! Fantastic room and place and the ambiance in and outside the hotel is unbelievable!!!

Property is ok but not on par with the price. Booking.com also listed wrong price for the extra bed. No support whatsoever from Booking.com to ractify the mistake. Better book directly with the property website.

Excellence from start to finish. This resort has an old school classiness that is hard to find these days. The level of service is outstanding. One of the best resort breakfasts we've had with a wide variety of choices from Western to Asian to Indonesian. Special thanks to Executive Assistant Manager, Angga Ramadhan, for his gracious hospitality during our visit. We will always fondly remember our stay at Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel.

An amazing hotel with the best service we’ve had in Indonesia. Beautiful rooms and outside areas. The staff have been very well trained and we particularly thought Bemo in the restaurant was exceptional. However all the staff were very attentive. We couldn’t fault anything.

We loved the serenity of the location. The staff were helpful and very hospitable. Breakfast is good and also the afternoon teas.

There should be more curated free activities for guests like village cultural walks, daily sunrise yoga or meditation . I booked for a yoga class and found out that it was not daily.

Amazing hotel with a top service level and an heavenly rice field view. Very friendly helpful geniune staff! Wow! The Steak and the Lava CAKE was just TOP! I asked to grill my meat ‘saignant’/medium rare & it was just perfect! Thank you for the great experience! Well deserved 5/5! The breakfast was extended and delicious. The tea break was very well organised. Amazing rooms as well. We also liked the authenticity of the Hotel. Very local support and local feeling.
