Wellington Hotel by Greene King Inns

The manager was wonderful. As always greene king menu lovely and catered for gluten free. Room had private shower room and kettle, wardrobe with mirror and tv. Cushions and pillows on the bed and desk.

Room had an odour like old sweat, carpet could have used an extra hoover. Mattress obviously memory foam as dent from all use beside bedside table. Shower scolded me unexpectedly without touching dial so wary 2nd morning. Could hear all the fire doors closing. Have to walk theough reataurant for outside vaping.

La propreté de la chambre (les murs sont très sales) et beaucoup de moisissures dans la douche. Aucun produits pour la douche. La porte du couloir (juste à côté de ma chambre) faisait un bruit de claquement très fort lorsqu'elle s'ouvrait. Des clients sont arrivés très tard, vers minuit et on ouvert/ fermé la porte au moins une vingtaine de fois en 10 minutes, ce qui m'a réveillé et maintenu réveillé durant un long moment.

The staff are amazing and the food was great.

The only couple of issues were the carpet was stained in the room and it smelled of damp and also the sink stopper never worked.

Tuesday nights they have folk singing in the lounge. It was great. Meals were lovely drinks plenty and very relaxed atmosphere.

There was a folk group playing in the restaurant/pub area, this was the highlight of my stay. Every member of staff I spoke to was very polite and courteous.

The room was small and the furnishing tired. The restaurant area was also very tired looking. The mattress on the bed was very hard and not comfortable

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Wellington Hotel by Greene King Inns during our trip to Scotland (11–12 August). The room was a real highlight: very spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxing night after a day of travelling. The location is also excellent, making it a very convenient stopover when touring Scotland. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and convenient stay in Aberdeen. We would definitely stay here again!

Great food, great staff and location. The bed was extremely comfortable and after long days of walking and driving it made its location ideal. Great water pressure in the shower which was perfect after days out walking.

I can often struggle with getting to sleep and with the noisy door in the corridor, I was woken up a few times so I could never get a full night's sleep. There wasn't any hot water from the sink tap and next to no water pressure compared to the shower but I managed. As good as the shower was, it felt grubby and felt like it was due a renovation but, it served it's purpose The walls and particularly in the top corners in the main bedroom were covered in cobwebs which seemed like they've been there for a while and things didn't feel clean besides the bed. For instance, the mug that came with the complimentary tea and coffee facilities seemed to have stains from a previous user so had to be rinsed out thoroughly. I wasn't expecting extravagance but I did expect things to be clean and well presented. It seemed like the hotel rooms were an afterthought to the rest of the pub which is a shame given how friendly everyone was and how the pub/restaurant was presented.

Rooms badly needing an upgrade. Inside of door in bathroom was badly damaged by steam etc. Part of the desk was broken. Bathroom looked grubby but was actually clean. The selection at breakfast was poor.

Location was good for us, but it is a little outside the centre. Once you get the hang of the buses, it is very accessible.

All was good, maybe a bit more furniture in the room to put clothes etc. on.

Staff was great: very polite and helpful all the time. The location is strategic to bypass Aberdeen and sleep close by the highway that takes you to stonehaven and then dunnottar. The food was amazing and with good prices! Room were clean and tidy.

Got woken up at 9:45am by an alarm going out multiple times outside our room. And then condone ( presume a cleaner) entered the room around the same time also and was surprised when I asked who it was and then they asked if anyone was in there

Hotel appena al di fuori di Aberdeen. Stanza abbastanza ampia e pulita, bagno spazioso. Ampio parcheggio disponibile. Abbiamo anche utilizzato il bar ed il ristorante a loro disposizione che si sono rivelati per nulla male!

The first room we were in had a leaking shower and a puddle next to the toilet Second room we had, smelled like mold and it had a mold spot on the floor.

Plenty parking spaces. Staff were friendly. Room was decent size and was warm. Tv in room. Room was clean. Food served until 9pm and good selection of food and drink. Breakfast there were cereals tea coffee and fruit juice and they take your order for hot food.

Location great for my needs, plentiful parking. The room, while small, was adequate for a short stay.

On arrival (Tuesday), a notice informing OUR KITCHEN IS CLOSED. I was told they hoped to have this resolved by Wednesday (I was staying for three nights). The kitchen was closed for the entirety of my stay. I had booked breakfast, but having been told kitchen was closed had to make other arrangements. There was a lot of noise in the evenings, and the dining area was being decorated with wet paint signs and a strong smell of paint. On Thursday evening, I asked for an update on the kitchen and was told it wasn't fixed. I explained I was frustrated that I had booked breakfast and was patronisingly told "we can still do breakfast from the oven". This contradicted the information I got at check-in. There were no staff around the reception desk when my visit concluded.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. Green King prices for Green King fare. The linen was clean.

The rooms were quote small (on its own not major) but cruciall, the loos were dirty, with mould in the showers, unclean surfaces around the toilet seat, and a pervading smell of sewage. Good at a pinch, and for the price I'd not demand much more, but I'd expect higher cleanliness and a decent smell at any price point.

The room was really small, we had 1 coffee cup missing, a dirty water glass and a dusty kettle! The food wasn't great. The haggis bon bons hardly had any haggis in them, the whiskey sauce was more like gravy and the wait for the mediocre main (the steak was not good) was a long time. But the worse thing was.....waking up at 4.30am to the noise of loads of banging and clattering for about 30 mins coming from the bar / kitchen area (it certainly wasn't comign from another room / guest). The only explanation was a beer or kitchen delivery??? I would have asked on check out but there wasn't anyone available to speak to when we left. Not great when you've got a 9 hour drive ahead of you. Unfortunate to say we wouldn't stay here again. It was comfy and had everything we needed but sometimes cheap isn't always cheerful 😌

A fürdőszoba kerekesszékeseknek ideális, de nem nekünk. Nagyon meglepődtünk, hogy a villanykapcsoló helyett huzalokat találtunk, amivel villanyt oltunk. Ebből a páraelszívóé nem is működött, így tiszta párás volt a fürdő. Egy polc nem volt, amire a neszeszert le lehetne tenni. A higénáról nem is beszélve, a zuhany alja penészes volt, a WC koszos volt, mintha előttünk végezte volna a dolgát valaki.

For us the location was ideal. The rooms were quiet and the choices for breakfast excellent.

Theres only one bath towel and one hand towel .when theres 2 sharing a room n both want a shower you have to wait for the towel to dry before u can use it .. No decaf coffee on the room

Breakfast was fantastic

The breakfast was first rate. The staff were very helpful. We were lucky enough to be staying on "Folk Tuesday" so had plenty of live entertainment in the evening. The shower was pretty good, and the bed was comfortable.

My room seemed to have no heating, and I couldn't work the TV. Neither of these things ere particularly important for a quick work stay, but I'd have been disappointed if I was staying for pleasure.

Excellent value for money. Fantastic, good quality food in restaurants. Basic, comfortable rooms. Option to have the room lovely and warm. Welcomed dogs. All staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.

We loved our stay at the Wellington. My only issue was the staff member that charged me again when I had already paid . He had the wrong name for me and mistook me for someone else but got the problem resolved and I was eventually refunded . Facilities was lovely and so good for the price .
