Everything was fantastic
Nothing
It’s grand interior, beautifully maintained and the setting in the lovely grounds. Such friendly, helpful staff too all in uniform
The service was incredible, from the front desk to the restaurant wait staff (esp. our server Finlay). The building and grounds were beautiful, and are certainly worth exploring. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was very spacious and beautiful, as was the modern bath.
I can't think of anything, as everything exceeded our expectations.
Second visit, always beautiful grant quiet and peaceful.

The building and its location
90% of staff input goes into looking after clients participating in musical events, practically ignoring all other clients

The cost!

Location and stateliness
Breakfast was a bit mean with tea. Had to ask for more.
Perfect for a private dining birthday dinner. Banqueting staff well organised, attentive and the evening ran amazingly. Breakfast delicious.
The rooms are very expensive, more expensive than staying in central London. Breakfast staff could be more aware.
Once again, fulfilled our expectation in every way.
Some discount as we attended the theatre.
Everything was perfect, my husband & I celebrated our Diamond Wedding Anniversary together with a first time visit to the Theatre show which was fantastic and later dinner in the Orangery and then overnight stay - we loved everything, only comment was that the Orangery had only 4 couples dining and therefore lacked atmosphere! The breakfast menu was very varied and of a wonderful standard - full English for hubby but I can recommend the pancakes!!

Beautiful property in a terrific location. Very elegant and well presented. Nice artwork and furniture. Lovely grounds. Room cleaning staff were excellent.
Needs some investment. Carpet’s worn out in some areas. Rooms need some updating. A fridge would be a good start. The outside area lacked sufficient shade for a sunny day. Need more parasols. Service staff not well trained or managed. Service standards not high enough. The lager’s were not ever refrigerated. Breakfast was chaotic even though it wasn’t particularly busy. Tables not cleared during the meal. Had avocado on toast. It was low quality manufactured purée! The side order of bacon was half a rasher streaked with white foam! Awful. One morning the tea and coffee was served in airline style jugs. It was really hard to get a refill and as the meal progressed the tea got weaker and weaker. They weren’t replenishing the tea, just refilling the jugs with warm water. No-one seemed in charge and the staff were young clearly lacked training and organisation. They just didn’t get the basics. The drinks billing at dinner was confusing. We were one group, but I think we paid on three separate invoices. Lot’s to work on.
Location beautiful restored Hotel friendliness of staff
Restored and beautiful particularly the orangery
Breakfast. No toast. No marmalade or honey on table. Brought wrong eggs
Absolutely everything
Lovely location, lovely property, lovely staff!

Location, peace and tranquility, and the views across the shires landscapes , the drive up the tree lined drive in the dark is magical
Too far from home to visit regularly
We were at the hotel for a wedding which was being held at the hotel. The whole experience was faultless and the bride and groom were delighted. It was a beautiful occasion and Mehmet, the event manager, was excellent, attentive and always on hand. The food, decor and service were all superb. Our room was lovely and spotless with a lovely shower.
Nothing! Air conditioning would have been nice in our room this weekend but I imagine it can’t be fitted due to the age of the building. However, the blinds in our room were drawn and the window left open so it was fine and there was a fan in the room if we wanted to use it.
Staff were really accommodating and food was delicious.
Nothing.
Beautiful! Lovely staff, room and service
Nothing, it’s a gem
Beautifully kept building, loads of character and excellent service!

Outstanding hotel.
Beautiful property , great grounds
It was a shame the Orangery was closed for repairs
Perfect. Beautiful place.
Not that we watch much TV but the tech was very old & small.
Magnificent. A truly beautiful setting and a real sense of luxury and comfort pervades Kilworth House Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff at all times, the peace and serenity of the hotel will stay with us.
There was a problem with the boiler the night we arrived, so the water was not hot enough. Kilworth House staff kindly offered to move us into another room, which we did. This made for a lovely weekend, the tepid water soon forgotten, we enjoyed our stay very much indeed.
Stunning location, probably the finest staff i have encountered from groundsmen, house keeping to reception every member of staff was friendly discreet and professional. Quality breakfast.
Corridors where a little dim but it was a dull day so looking forward to our next visit being a sunny day
I was very disappointed as i struggled to open the front door with bags and briefcases staff stood chatting at the front desk and did not come to help. indeed, two of them watched me struggle then walked away. No offer to help then or even after check in, no offer to help with bags to the room. Poor directions to the room. Dinner was slightly disorganised; i was never told the soup or fish of the day. Had to ask. Food was fine but under seasoned. Expected better quality and bread: i had just returned from France and it was jarring that bread was not offered. Room lovely. Breakfast -hello???? No one was around. Seated myself. very slow service and i was headed to a meeting so my timetable was tight. unhelpful i had to ask several times for toast and water (oddly no water on the buffet, just juice). I noticed several other guests asking for missing items and unsure where to sit i.e. no staffing Overall a lovely hotel trying hard but staffing let it down. Not worth the 185£ night i paid even on an expense account. And they forgot my wake up call: thank goodness i set my own alarm!
all above
The selection at breakfast time was very good and the evening meals were delicious. I couldn't fault any of the meals. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was extremely comfortable with good facilities. Parking at the hotel was easy. We were overlooking the most beautiful grounds. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the hotel for you.

The king size bed and the room

Everything was spotless, staff were very nice, the bed was incredibly comfortable.
A very well located hotel just a few miles from the M1. Lovely looking building externally and beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Very clean rooms and well appointed ensuites. Comfy bed.
I think it is best to describe this place internally as dated and at times, I felt like I was a 1970's sitcom. At this price point, and when comparing to other similar priced hotels I have recently stayed in, I would expect the bedrooms to have a coffee machine (Nespresso), smart TV's, fresh milk in the room (in a flask or in a fridge) and other modern touches like a DAB radio. The decor would make your grandma happy, but for me, it all felt a little dated and chintzy. The lounge area lacks any kind of atmosphere and it would be nice to have some background music playing. Even when the gas fire was lit, the atmosphere didn't change.
So beautiful and in amazing location.
All was wonderful nothing to dislike.
Very nice furnishings and property. Hi quality rooms. Good value.
If you like attention to detail, you'll love this hotel. The attention paid by each member of staff was a joy to observe. The lounge offers a haven of peace and quiet (no laptops or phones allowed). Dinner was excellent - a simple menu, with a few choices, all well done. Breakfast was excellent: best scrambled eggs I've had in a long time. Room was comfortable and spotless. Grounds immaculate.

Cleanliness and staff. Hotel grounds and building were just so beautiful.

Location is fantastic with beautiful grounds. The hotel is elegant.Food was very good.
The lighting in the dining room was poor - I had to download a torch to read the menu. The room was a little hot and even adjusting the temperature after a 19.00 arrival had no impact.
We stayed for one night at this beautiful hotel. The hotel is set in stunning grounds and is beautiful inside and out. Its great to stay somewhere so clean and everything in a good state of repair. Breakfast was a buffet plus hot dishes cooked to order with a good choice. Bedroom was a good size with a large bathroom and comfy beds.
Very special breakfast with right degree of freedom buffet/service. A v personal approach to our needs and who we actually were and what the occasion was, rather than corporate appproach, we felt valued and included in the system of overall management. We absolutely adored the grounds, they were incredibly special and are hoping to return for a whole weekend and a show in the theatre in the future. We also liked the thoughtful themed naming of the rooms, authors etc, any clues as to the history and decor of the place.
Just wished that there was a message on the website that the orangery was currently closed as that was a big drawer as to why I selected it, it turned out alright as the place wasn't too crowded which made the stay more intimate as a result but at no point were we informed of this, even on arrival or even on a note in our room, which would have been considerate. We had a welcome note which we did appreciate, but it could have had this important info added. I guess a garden room should also have had a slightly better view of the grounds/garden for the price, it was rather on a corner. The noise of the radiator in the bathroom was also rather noisy at first, it didn't last more than an hour I don't think, which ensured overall the night's sleep was entirely satisfactory, or fine.
A beautiful Hotel, it was immaculate & very tastefully decorated & so clean!
I liked everything
Lovely location whilst not far from the M1. Garden rooms were on the first floor of the building overlooking the grounds. They were nicely proportioned with very comfortable beds and pretty much everything needed for a comfortable stay. Food was excellent. Staff were exceedingly polite, helpful and friendly.
Whilst the internet was available in the room, the TV did not connect to the internet so impossible to access apps or cast to it from our personal mainstream devices..Signage to rooms could be a little more obvious but in an odd way adds to the charm of this hotel.
The ambience of the hotel, the bedroom was extremely comfortable and the turn down service was a very nice touch. The staff were welcoming and more than happy to help and advise as necessary. The food was of a high quality and beautifully served. The breakfast offerings were excellent.
A fridge in the bedroom would be a welcome addition. The bedroom door has a wicked opening mechanism and as you open it to exit it quite fiercly snaps back, takes you by surprise and hurts your wrist.
Kilworth House Hotel is a beautiful building located in a fantastic setting. Lovely comfortable room and beds! Excellent customer service by very professional and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.
Nothing at all!
Beautiful setting, very grand. Comfortable bed and pillows. Old school luxury
The amazing staff and beautiful building
Location the hotel is stunning, and the accessible rooms are excellent
Breakfast could be a little slow but nothing too bad
The location is wonderful and all the Christmas decorations made it a truly magical stay .Couldn't fault the food and the service as always was incredible, cant wait to return, hopefully soon.
nothing really only my choice at breakfast, but that was down to me.
Location
Entrance road and car park poorly light
Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location
Breakfast could be quicker to take the orders but we were in a family group so happy to chat while waiting
Beautiful hotel. Lovely room. Good parking. Lovely food.
It was perfect.
Friendly staff. Restaurant is very limited, in terms of food options, but satisfactory. The hotel ideally needs a bar menu for more casual dining, within the "bar" area. The communal areas of the hotel are delightful. However; be aware that some rooms have a single bed and a separator door. This is fairly unacceptable in a £200+/night hotel; except in central London. It's not a hostel guys.
Being subject to a separator door and "communal" room occupier. You can hear everything. And, to be fair; I'd rather not hear this in a hotel with about 45 "empty" rooms at the time; simply for your convenience of cleaning in the morning.
The style and the quality of the furnishings. Very clean and polished, well maintained. Set in lovely grounds.
It was almost perfect. Maybe a fridge in the room.
A truly magnificent property, wow. Superb room so comfortable and with all facilities, even treats, and a good bathroom ( shower above bathtub ), very good breakfast, and delightful helpful reception staff. Good parking available.
Nothing.
A truly stunning building with well maintained gardens. The interior of the hotel was beautiful, with a good layout and a excellent outdoor courtyard. The rooms were extremely clean and the chamber staff were super helpful and friendly.
The food and service were very inconsistent. You could wait 15 min for someone to take your drinks order in the study or when waiting to be seated for breakfast. Starters were poor and extremely small and some of the more complexed main course missed the mark (although the steaks were great).
Great hotel, very clean and in beautiful grounds, lovely walks from the hotel. Staff were all excellent - very helpful
Stunning property, outstanding comfortable luxury rooms and facilities that will impress for a night away. Really great staff right across the board. Beautiful grounds even for just a stroll.
Very friendly, beautiful setting, luxury feel
All very good
Staff were very friendly and our room was stunning. We enjoyed walking around the grounds
Perhaps the food could have been a little less elaborate. There were lots of different competing tastes
Extremely clean, exceptional staff, excellent food.
The chairs in the dining room are rather uncomfortable/worn. Maybe update them for more comfortable ones.
The decor and the gardens were beautiful with lots of lovely and areas to sit quietly
Sehr gut gelegen.
A short but relaxing stay while moving house, a very welcome retreat from chaos. It helped with our sanity and preserved our marriage!!
No complaint
Great location beautiful venue
There was no bar only a lounge, there are no places in the hotel to sit apart from the lounge. The Whole hotel was rented out for a wedding and I had to either stay in my room or leave.
