Room wasn’t very clean. The window screens must have been broken because there were A LOT of bugs (earwig, spiders, mosquitoes and moths) mostly in the bathroom

This sweet older motel is run by a caring family. Expansive green space makes for a peaceful stay. Rooms are clean and attractively decorated, and come with a kettle, coffee, bottled water, and real glasses and mugs.

Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are older and small but it was very clean and comfortable. We are happy with our stay.

We did not stay as bookings.com made an error and double booked us. However, the owner John was very helpful and helped locate another place for us to stay. John was very upset that this happened and assured us that he would find us a place for the night and did just that. Thank you John for all you did... your customer service went above and beyond!!

The step into the room was way too high. The screen door did not close properly. There was no fan in the bathroom.

Air-conditioning was noisy and really didn't cool the room. Volume on TV was set at a fixed level and could not be heard when a/c was turned on.

I had a comfortable night's sleep in a clean motel room with a.c., t.v., microwave, fridge and kettle for a reasonable price.

The decor could use some updating, but then again, it gave the room some character!

Very clean , great room on a budget

I've been to this place twice now. The motel sits on the edge of a large field and little woods near an RV campground. It's a relaxed place, lots of birds, and a wide lawn with picnic tables provided is a lovely touch for sitting out in the evening. The rooms are colourful and tasteful. It's an old motel and not entirely renovated, but clean and comfortable. Nice touches: a kettle, real water glasses and mugs provided. Owner/staff was very warm and welcoming both times. Excellent value.

The room smelled strongly of disinfectant cleaner. I have encountered this elsewhere; it's not just this place. There's no carpet - which is good - and the floor was very clean. So it's simply an odour issue with whatever product being used.

I appreciated the care put into decorating the room thoughtfully. Nice to see rich colours in the bedding and curtains for a change (oranges, blues) and patterned tiling in the bathroom - a Moroccan mood. The fridge was larger than expected, there was a kettle - rare! - and glasses and generously sized mugs provided. I very much enjoyed sitting outside at the picnic tables provided. Noticed they also have a bbq and firepit. Property was neat.

That when you sit outside, you see a nice grassy space not the busy road!

Everything. Honestly they are the nicest friendliest people ive dealt with when renting a motel. Martin's Inn is well worth the money.

Very clean and good location. A nice grass area with BBQ in it. Very quiet. Easy check in and out.

The only thing I didn't like was that the room smelled like someone had been smoking in it or that it used to be a smoking room and they can't get the smell completely out. Maybe it was just my room but I don't know if that is the case.

The air conditioner needed to be vaccines as a think layer of dust on the front screen.

The sheets seemed clean. The bathroom was very dirty, the toilet seat finish was peeling off. The floor in the unit had not been cleaned. Electrical outlets didn't work

Location good. Woken at 3 am by neighbour's. I had asked for an end unit for a reason. In the morning, I saw many rooms that were available where my neighbour's should not have been placed next to me.

Mirror on wall. Bed pillows flat. Tv control....no explanation...few channels.

It was a comfortable room with lots of space and a full size bathtub which is always nice. The staff were really really friendly and helpful.

I booked through this app and when I arrived at the hotel I was told I needed a $100 cash deposit which I had no idea about it didn't say that anywhere and I didn't have that much cash on me. It would have been nice to know ahead of time even if the owner has to reach out with a message to you. But in the end the owner was very accommodating and took part of the cash deposit. He even left me enough cash on me to get a pizza delivered which was really nice of him.

The staff were very good people's. Location was great, being just minutes from the city but far enough away for privacy . BBQ and firepit were among the ammenities and they allow pets. 10 out of 10 for me

It was dirty and smelled of urine. There was some questionable stuff on the remote, and nightstand. It was cold they only give you a plug in space heater that was very loud, once you turned it off to sleep it got freezing. Also didn't get under the blankets I swear i seen something and didnt want to chance it so I used my sweater to cover up with.

The lady who checked us in was nice, the outdoor area was great for dog walking but our room was not clean. I wiped up a little spilled water off the floor and the tissue was black and covered in hair. We did not want to put our dog beds on the floor. The room was inexpensive but not clean like the reviews stated.

Rooms are small but clean. Smelled strongly of cleanser so those who have scent sensitivities may want to be aware especially if visiting when windows can’t be utilized.

The room was clean and beds were pretty comfy. Its perfect with the dog. Its not a 5 star resort but it was great value and the front desk staff were friendly. Shower was hot and good pressure.

The door to the room only locked with a deadbolt, the door knob was missing parts and didn't latch. When mentioned to the owner was told it was fine and had been like that for years. Prepaid 5 nights, then found out no maid service, had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels. No coffee maker. Shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Air conditioner had mold. Towel bar was broken on arrival but did get fixed. Bed was definitely not a queen (called a large double??) and was very hard.

The check in clerk was awesome. He came to check in on our room to ensure it was acceptable for accessibility. The room fit our needs. Could use more electrical outlets for charging our devices.

Place is very dated but the beds where comfy,but small

Walls are not sound proof so if you have noisy tenant beside you will hear them easily.

We didn’t end up staying at the hotel the room smelt must it was small. There were stains on the chair and it didn’t look that clean. We tried to get a refund and he told us to deal with Expedia. We called Expedia and they spoke to the motel they wouldn’t give a refund. My husband went back into to speak to them and the owner told him to get out of his motel. Expedia helped us out with some point rewards which we used on another hotel. Would not recommend this place at all.

The worst Motel possible. It runs by Indian people very dirty , smelly they all the time check you out put their nose in your business. Their impolite children threw some stones to my rental car, and make a chips on the front glasses. Insurance charged me $ 500 for that. The false walls between rooms brings all the noise from other room and you can clearly hear the room next room.. No privacy at all. When you take shower the noise of water from other room it's like a motor jet and totally disturbing. I will bever ever go to their horrible motel. Just avoid it it is waste of money. I bought some bleach to clean the dirty toilet.

We couldn’t have been more impressed and more thankful to this motel for their accommodations and welcoming of our family and cats. I would stay here again if I needed a place to stay. Thank you for a great experience and amazing fish and chips!!

Was created by the owner who was lovely. The location was convenient. We were doing a quick stop for sleep in the middle of a long drive and this was perfect. It was clean and quiet and comfortable.

Newly renovated, very clean, comfy.

The floor under the bed hasn't been cleaned in months, dogs came out of the room dirtier than they came there. No housekeeping for 3 days, no fresh towels in 3 days, shower curtain moldy, pillows were pancake thin, 1 face cloth, wasn't a proper lock on the door, stuffed with tissue around it. Didn't feel secure. Noisy. Only good thing was area to walk dogs. Do not recommend.

Decent room for the price. Nothing special but clean.

Owner tried to charge for service/support dog. Room was a million degrees AC took forever to cool room. Bed was terrible pillows flatter than the customer service. Mirror wall beside bed was filthy hmmmm....yah!!! Would never stay there again.
