Great location, modern and comfortable rooms, and very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and a great base for exploring Lanka.

Perfect location nice staff specially thanks to Rivini and Misfah

This hotel was built around 2017 and has rebranded to NH Colkection Hotel in 2024. The hotel has security check of luggage as you enter the lobby and a large reception area for check-in. A small coffee shop with some seating is also on the ground floor where I enjoyed my welcome drink whilst I was being checked-in. I booked a superior room for my two night stay and was allocated a room on the ninth floor with views between other buildings out to the coastline. The room was spacious with large comfortable bed, chair with lamp and side table, writing desk and chair, a lounge , large TV., small fridge and two small complimentary bottles of water. Tea and coffee making facilities were located on a small bench area between the wardrobe and separate bathroom. The wardrobe contained slippers, a small digital safe, coat hangers, hanging space and drawers, iron and ironing board and a torch. A foldable luggage rack was also in the wardrobe to use for your baggage. The bathroom had an entry door from the small hallway next to the wardrobe and a larger sliding door entry off the bedroom area. The toilet was next to the door entry. Twin basins , complimentary amenities, and pump containers of hand soap, hand and body lotion between the hand basins and shower gel shampoo and condoner in the shower. A towel rack with floor mat and towels and separate hand towels on the towel rails in front of the hand basins. The shower had a full size window with city view and a roller blind to utilise when using the shower and bathroom areas. The room was a little tired in places including the roller blind in the bathroom and general wear and tear on some of room furnishings. The hotel offers room service. The breakfast included in my room rate at the time of booking is definitely worth paying for. A large selection of western and other cuisines, including egg station for omelettes, fried, scrambled and poached eggs. A separate room of the main food and seating area has the parties and breads and toaster. Coffee machine and tea bags and hot water . An exceptional self service chilled mango or strawberry smoothie drinks from glass jugs next to the other juices that were also available. The rooftop bar, with separate infinity pool with views and hot tub area is great for a rest in the middle of the day or for an evening drink or meal. The only drawback is the bar area is smoking so if you are a non-smoker you will have to take this into account, it would be better if they had two distinct areas. I enjoyed two meals with a drink on both nights I stayed and the food and service were excellent. The hotel is close to Galle Face Green 15 -20 min walk and also in the area is the One Galle Face Mall and the new Colombo Port City. The Lotus Tower is also walkable but allow about 30 mins. Overall an enjoyable two night stay.

The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect. Just a short walk from the beach and all the nearby shops. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to go the extra mile to accommodate every need. They even had a shuttle service to the casino, which was such a great added bonus! Our room was spotless, and all the amenities were beautifully maintained and ready to use. The breakfast and dinner buffets had an amazing variety of options, with seafood lovers especially spoilt for choice! We absolutely loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the NH Collection Colombo was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we checked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. Even though the hotel was completely full, the team surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade to a beautiful room featuring a bathtub right by the window overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect start to our stay. Unfortunately, I came down with a pretty bad flu during our trip. What happened afterwards is something I’ll never forget. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. They regularly brought me honey, different kinds of tea and plenty of water, and kept checking in to see how I was feeling. I honestly didn’t feel like just another guest – I felt like I was being looked after by family, almost like being back home with my mum. What impressed us even more was that, despite the hotel being fully booked, they still managed to arrange a late check-out until 2:00 PM so I could get some extra rest before we had to leave. That level of care and flexibility is incredibly rare. A very special thank you goes to MISFAH, GANGURI, HASHINI, RIVINI and PASIDU. You all truly went the extra mile to make sure my wife and I could still enjoy our stay despite me being sick. Your kindness, warmth and genuine hospitality made all the difference, and we are so grateful for everything you did for us. Beautiful rooms and amazing sea views are one thing, but it’s people like MISFAH, GANGURI, HASHINI, RIVINI and PASIDU who make a hotel truly special. Thanks to you, this wasn’t just another hotel stay—it became a memory we’ll always cherish. Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. I loved the breakfast - huge selection, everyone surely will find something for themselves, options for Sri Lankan but also plenty other cuisines. The gym on of the top floors is ok, it’s not the newest, but it has everything you may need for the full body workout. The room comfortable with a great view, but it looks a bit tired, much better on the pictures than in reality - similar to the rest of the building. Very convenient location.

We stayed here for just one night at the end of our trip to Sri Lanka, but the hotel team ensured it was a memorable one. We were incredibly lucky and grateful to receive a room upgrade. The room was stunning, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and showering while looking out over the ocean was certainly an experience to remember! We enjoyed drinks and dinner at the rooftop bar, which was lovely. I particularly appreciated that when the DJ music became a little too loud, the gentleman who served us listened to our feedback and kindly arranged for the volume to be turned down. Before our departure, we even managed to squeeze in a quick dip in the infinity pool, which was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay. Although it was brief, it was the perfect way to end our Sri Lankan adventure. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

NH Collection Colombo is one of the best city hotel i have ever been in terms of service. The hotel is situated at the heart of bustling Colombo city center beside Liberty plaza and facing the indian ocean. You will be entertained with a warm Sri Lankan welcome from their staff upon entering the hotel. Check in is straight forward and fast, thanks to Mr. Misfah who is very efficient and ask me to upgrade in a more bigger room and i never regret it, my room is huge with bathtub, office table and a sofa. They have plenty of bars and restaurants you can choose but the nar which i really enjoyed is their rooftop bar, special thanks to their head waiter Mr. Lakmal and their Restaurant and Beverage manager Mr. Alex for a nice chat a night before my flight. Mr. Alex is gem of the hotel, he is great leader of the team with a vast experience worldwide. When you passby the rooftop bar, you look for Mr. Alex and he will assist you with a smile and confidence. The roof top has a nice swimming with a jacuzzi as well. It is a perfect place for night out with family and friends and will close around 12midnight. The breakfast buffet on the 4th floor has a huge selections of meals from continental, indian, chinese and Srilankan options. I tried their food and its tasty and delicious. Thank you for the chef and waiters who are very accommodating and helpful. The only downside (its not a big deal anyway) is the water in the bathtub looks dirty but i never used the bathtub. I think the bathtub was not used for a long time thats why it is like that. Special thanks to Miss Hashini for always sharing your goodvibes and smiles when ever i met her from hallways and restaurants. Overall, NH Collection Colombo is one of the best city hotel i have been and i would recommend this hotel to everyone who has business or leisure with friends and family visiting Sri Lanka.

Spent one night in this hotel and wished I had more time to enjoy it... beautiful location in the heart of Colombo at an affordable rate with amazing view overlooking the city. Modern rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel including room service and laundry. Rooms were clean and well spaced with comfortable bedding. Noise was kept to a minimum thanks to thick windows and walls Buffet options if you wish to dine within the hotel as well as Sky bar including a live DJ providing club vibes if you wish to party above the city Infinity pool with amazing view of the city and the coast line and jacuzzi. The staff were friendly and helpful (special shout out to Akalanka for his dining service)... When they heard we needed to check out early (at 3am) and would let be having breakfast, they had a meal pack ready to go for us... real above and beyond service. Would recommend to anyone visiting Colombo in the near future.

NH Collection Colombo is truly the best hotel in Colombo! Even though we only stayed for a few hours before our flight home, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful, the service was outstanding, and the staff made our honeymoon even more special. We also really appreciated the thoughtful breakfast box they prepared for us since we had to leave before breakfast. A special thank you to Chathura, Tharun, Mangala, Sajith, and especially Lakmal, the best bartender! Thank you all for your amazing hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

I went with my husband on our honeymoon. Very nice hotel with a rooftop pool and jaccuzzi with a great view. Clean and had international cuisine. The staff are so friendly and all know English. It’s a very safe place and Colombo in general is beautiful. Mr. Ravini was very friendly and helpful, highly recommended!

Habitación muy espaciosa, bonitas vistas, muy confortable. El desayuno fue impecable. Por fin un café espresso bueno. Hay un cheff que hace tortillas, creppes, gofres.. Muy rico. Desde la habitación teníamos vistas al mar.

Solo pasamos una noche, previa a coger el vuelo. La única pega es que está a 40 min del aeropuerto y mucho tráfico en la ciudad. Así que si lo que buscas es hacer noche cerca del aeropuerto mejor otra opción.

Location is excellent, the stay overall was great. Cleanliness 10/10 and the ladies at the front desk, Tashani, Ganguli and Rivini, were absolutely fantastic, accommodated all our requests and needs.
