1. The lifts - slow 2. Very difficult to get hold of the operator; they don’t pick up the phone. 3. There appears to be a QR code for everything. I requested an in house room menu in hard copy. I was told there are none. In the UK we do not like scanning QR codes as they can be a security risk.

Comfortable and spacious rooms with nice views of Colombo skyline. Good location too, not too far from Galle Face Green / Mall and yet close enough to Independence Square and BMICH. Breakfast spread is quite good, and staff are polite and helpful.

Hotel wanted a payment for one night's stay in advance of our arrival, so I tried making a payment with my international credit card, which didn't go through; my credit card provider informed me that this is due to the hotel using an unsecured payment gateway. So I had to call the hotel to inform them about this issue, and request them not to cancel our booking.

Lovely clean hotel, everything provided.and an amazing breakfast buffet with a vast choice.. Rooms are cleaned daily. The swimming pool is a great place to cool down in the afternoon.. The view from the roof terrace great.

Beers could be colder and the DJ not quite as loud.

Break fast was good ! Room and facilities are good

Staff need to be trained a little more. If you ask me privately i would say in detail What i didn't like most they charged more than a room per day for may request for an early check-in

Great Stay with Friendly and Helpful Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a really pleasant stay at Cinnamon Red Colombo. One of the things that stood out the most was the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, making our stay very relaxing. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would be happy to stay here again. A Small Suggestion We would like to share one suggestion that we hope the management can look into. It would be great if the hotel could monitor or reconsider the presence of tuk-tuk drivers waiting immediately around the property. During our stay, we took a tuk-tuk that was parked next to the hotel. The driver told us that he had previously worked for the property. Unfortunately, our experience with him was not pleasant. He repeatedly asked us to visit a jewellery store, explaining that he could get petrol at a discounted rate if we went there. As guests, we felt uncomfortable with this approach, especially when the driver was positioned right next to the hotel. We believe the hotel could consider having more control over which drivers approach or pick up guests from the property, as this would help protect the hotel’s excellent reputation and provide guests with greater peace of mind. Apart from this experience, we had a very enjoyable stay at Cinnamon Red Colombo and were particularly impressed by the staff and the quality of the rooms. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay a pleasant one. We look forward to visiting again!

War sehr sauber, gute Lage und für eine Nacht perfekt. Konnten unsere Koffer nach dem Check Out im Hotel lassen und so noch die Stadt erkunden.

Super fijne, ruime en nette kamer. Comfortabel bed en badkamer. Prachtig uitzicht en een top ontbijt.

Wij kwamen laat op de avond aan en besloten daarom roomservice te bestellen. Duurde erg lang, dat is nog niet z’n probleem. Maar toen het eten eindelijk kwam… was het koud.

Dining Room isn’t spacious, tables are too close to each other which makes difficult to walk around.

Nous avoir fait payer 40 $ pour un check in à 9h au lieu de 13h (on descendait de l'avion), pour une chambre qui était déjà prête finalement.

Très bel hôtel, moderne et très bien situé. La chambre était agréable et l’ensemble de l’hôtel est très propre. Le personnel est également très accueillant et professionnel. J’avais demandé à pouvoir effectuer un check-in plus tôt que prévu. Comme l’hôtel était complet, ce n’était pas garanti, mais l’équipe a tout de même fait son possible pour répondre à ma demande, moyennant un supplément. J’ai beaucoup apprécié leur flexibilité et leur attention envers les clients. La piscine sur le rooftop offre également une très belle vue sur Colombo. Je recommande sans hésiter le Cinnamon Red Colombo pour un séjour à Colombo !

Wir hatten 3 tolle Tage mit problemlosem Spät-Checkout. Das Hotel hat einen wunderschönen Pool mit Roofbar und das Buffet morgens und Abends ist sehr gut

Das Hotel begeistert vor allem durch den fast 20*5 Meter großen Pool auf der Dachterrasse im 26. Stockwerk der von 8 bis 21 Uhr in der Nacht geöffnet ist und einen unglaublichen Ausblick auf Colombo bietet. Ich würde sagen, das ist der Hauptgrund das Hotel zu auszuwählen. Auch die Roof-Top Bar ist toll. Ansonsten hat das Hotel einen recht guten Standard, ein schönes Badezimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, kostenlose Garage für den Mietwagen, Kühlschrank, tolle Aussichten von den Zimmern durch riesige Fenster und stark verdunkelnde Vorhänge, ein Supermarkt ist gleich gegenüber.

Allenfalls Kleinigkeiten, Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden, gelegentlich etwas muffiger Geruch aus der Klimaanlage, Warmwasser in der Dusche nicht ganz konstant in der Temperatur, nicht das ganze Hotel ist als Nichtraucher geführt, gelegentlich Wartezeiten an den Aufzügen - aber alles Kleinigkeiten.

Everything - the location, staff, room, pool. The room was extremely well planned, spacious with excellent views on 2 sides and had the best shower I’ve experienced in 2+ weeks in Sri Lanka.

On a pris le dîner au restaurant, c’est un buffet qu’on a pas trouvé super mais il y avait une grande quantité de choix

From desk and other staff is not friendly at all. They don’t value customers who visit regularly. Whatver the request make from our end response is NO. Sri Lanka is know for hospitality but Cinnamon Red experience is awful. No more visits

Loved the location - an easy walk to the park and National Museum and within walking distance of Galle Face hotel and the green. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with ample space and amenities. And the bed extremely comfortable. The views over the city and to the ocean were impressive and the shower fabulous.

Overall, it was a really lovely stay. The breakfast had a good selection, the infinity pool was especially nice in the evening, and I really enjoyed the rooftop bar. Everything came together to make the stay comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable.
