Hotel is located in a very good location and staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Ambience is very nice. Room service is too good. Breakfast provided in the restaurent is very nice and restaurant staff are also very supportive. The afternoon food menu can be improved a little better, However I liked the combo of srilanka rice and curries with chicken curry.

There is no specific point to dislike about the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. And the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable.

Some facilities could also be better maintained, and there could be more variety in the food and evening activities. Overall, though, the stay was enjoyable. Hotel needs some renovations …. Some areas

Easy quick stay if you just need somewhere after a late flight. Front desk staff were lovely.

Unfortunately the room was not sound proof. It was extremely noisy till early hours of the morning making sleep really hard. I would avoid this place of you're a light sleeper. Bed is rock hard. I do think the pictures online made it feel like I was scammed when I saw what the hallway and rooms actually looked like especially for the price for one night. Place is quite run down. Breakfast was limited. Room had a weird smell and the shower could have been cleaned better. I would not stay here again.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Es ist perfekt zentral gelegen und bietet für sri-lankische Verhältnisse einen sehr gehobenen, modernen und luxuriösen Standard. Ein absolutes Highlight ist der Dachpool: Man hat von den Liegen aus einen wunderschönen, direkten Blick auf das Meer. Ein kleiner Hinweispunkt: Es gibt oben kaum Schattenplätze, was für Sonnenanbeter ideal ist, für schattenliebende Gäste aber etwas bedenklich sein kann. Unser Zimmer war zur Meerseite ausgerichtet und bot ebenfalls eine tolle Aussicht. Dass Colombo selbst keinen klassischen Traumstrand hat und das Meer eher trüb ist, tut der Qualität des Hotels keinen Abbruch. Das Frühstück ist genial und extrem reichhaltig – wer spät geht, braucht eigentlich kein Mittagessen mehr. Die landestypischen, scharfen Spezialitäten waren köstlich. Wer etwas Abwechslung sucht: Ein KFC befindet sich direkt um die Ecke. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungenes, modernes Hotel im Herzen von Colombo. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Price was reasonable and the location was very convenient. They have an EV charging point which was very useful for me. During my previous stay there was not a single meat been offered and I mentioned this to them. During this stay there was a chicken curry been offered which is encouraging. They listen to guests.

The pillow cases had some hair on it which we asked housekeeping to change. During the sleeping my wife reported about some bugs inside the blanket and they bit and caused itchiness.

Posizione piuttosto comoda, siamo arrivati alle 3 di notte e comunque c’era il personale ad accoglierci. Con un supplemento siamo riusciti a fare l’early check in e a dormire. L’hotel é carino e adatto per fare una sosta di una notte. Colazione al buffet molto ricca. Purtroppo con poche opzioni gluten free se non riso pollo frutta e uova.

Abbiamo chiesto il cambio stanza perché le lenzuola erano macchiate ma dopo questo episodio é andato tutto bene. Ci hanno fatto un upgrade e siamo stati bene.

Had a great stay at Morven Hotel Colombo! The rooms were comfortable, the service was excellent, and the hospitality was wonderful. Special thanks to Siumi and Piumi for being so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The location is very central. Has ample parking if you bring your own veichle. Has cafe in the ground floor so you don't have to run around just for caffeine. Also has roof top bar with a view.

The staff woke me up in the middle of the night to ask for payment as I extended my stay out of booking.com even after confirming with reception staff over phone and whatsapp that I would pay applicable rates. The breakfast is average with limited options. They charged for slippers which are listed as amenities in the room booking.com listing. They didn't fulfill dental kits everyday unless asked explicitly. The service was really pathetic.

Everything was great. The room was comfortable, the property was clean, and overall I had a very pleasant stay & a good staff.

Nothing major to complain about. However, renovating or repainting the corridor walls would improve the overall appearance and give guests a better first impression.

The place was conveniently located on the Galle Road where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Easy access to transport and close to major attractions in Colombo. The staff was hard working and always willing to help.

The room we were given on the first night was not clean, and later we were told that was because the hotel was full on the day we checked in. But the very next day we were upgraded to a better room on a higher floor that was specious. Common areas can do with a bit more cleaning and ventilation.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and the range was wonderful! The service was exceptional- thank you to Food and Beverage staff- Sandali, Nathasha, Asanka and Sineth and kitchen staff - Lakshan, Anudith and Pamod.

There was nothing that I could actually say I liked about this hotels

I booked this hotel and made sure to inform the staff that I have early check-in because my flight will land at 5 in the morning. At that time they said sure we will give you room whichever will be available. But when I reached there they simply said no room is available and didn’t give any deadline. I had to wait from 6AM till 11AM to get a room. The room was not big as shown in the images it was small room. And price was crazy. Then I asked to clean the room they didn’t clean it for 2 days. Breakfast was same entire 3 days no change in menu. I felt like I wasted my money.

Had a pleasant stay recently. The location is exceptional, within walking distance of the beach, malls, and other attractions. The area also has a lively atmosphere at night. As a solo female traveler, I had some doubts before arriving, but everything turned out to be perfect! The staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt safe throughout my stay. The only minor issue was that on my last night, I noticed some stains around the toilet that I hadn't noticed earlier, so the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Apart from that, I had a very good experience and would happily stay here again.

I came here for short stay, in my opinion this hotel was best 4star hotel in town, the room is clean and tidy, and the location was very easy to excess for our needs from the city, And most importantly staffs were excellent specially front desk staff, the Restaurant food was great, and chefs were ready to help at all times, Thank you so much team Hopefully I will choose this hotel for my next visit.

I nice hotel near the beach. A peasant pool on the roof and good food at the restaurant buffet. Panhduka, asana, lacmal and gasuh were very friendly serving us at the buffet.

It’s a literally in the city center and in front of the beach..very spacious for two person( we took two separate beds) . Stayed there for two nights and they were ready to assist you for everything. The view from rooftop pool is amazing, definitely need to go and check out once.

There was a bad smell in the room

Everything good, restaurant stafs also. Kind. Soecially Senavi, Sandali, Sineth. Good service! And food is best likely our local foods from maldives. Perfect!
