Creo que un hotel que quiere tener esa categoría de estrellas debe tener servicios , como gimnasio un desayuno amplio y variado y un servicio de bar y cafetería al menos hasta las 12:00 pm Lo más negativo es que un huésped no pueda tomar algo, cenar en la terraza o en restaurante sin estar obligado, como única opción a pagar el bufet.

Me encantó todo. Increíble las instalaciones. Un poco lejos del centro pero si vas en auto no hay ningún problema. Muy muy cómodo y las habitaciones lindas y con terraza vista al mar

Impeccable stay: great views, amenities and a spacious and luxurious room. The staff was also great as they solved every ask in no time and even offered us an extensive tour of the Palmares golf course.

They need to quit advertising a Michelin star restaurant that isn't there anymore. There's a lot of construction going on because Marriott is taking over but they did a nice job making that as minimal as possible.

Amazing property with a view of Lagos and Alvor. The hotel sits high on a cliff with ocean as the main attraction, along with the peace, beauty and endless sunshine. The staff from the front desk, valet to the restaurant and the Club House are friendly, professional and always willing to help.

Nada, se nos ha hecho corta la estancia

L’emplacement à 10 mns en voiture de Lagos, un hôtel dans un domaine level, hôtel à taille humaine, chambres vue sur la mer et le golfe du domaine, chambres spacieuses, et cette attention particulière pour l’anniversaire de mon mari qui était 2 jours avant notre arrivée, une bouteille de champagne et un petit gâteau, vraiment un bel hôtel que je recommande. La prochaine fois peut être au Palmarès appartements!!!

the property didn't disclose that they have a huge construction right next to the hotel which completely destroyed the view. Didn't offer any compensation neither.

El hotel es precioso! Tiene unas vistas increíbles. La habitación súper cómoda y con todo lo necesario para pasar una estadía increíble. La atención del lugar es extraordinaria, súper amables y atentos a todo. Tienen muchos detalles en su atención que realmente hacen la diferencia. El desayuno es muy rico y completo.

The hotel was rated 3 out of 5 because the staff and food were so nice. That’s where the niceties stop. Their website describes Palmares as tranquil and serene, somewhere to relax and unwind. Now that’s fraudulent as far as we are concerned. The place has a building site surrounding it with cranes, diggers and earth removal. The noise will get worse when foundations and piling works start. It’s becoming run down. Nothing gets fixed because it’s going to be demolished at the beginning of next year as The Marriott complex gobbles it up. Sad really as it used to be so nice. Don’t book here if you want what they promise on their website, you won’t get it.

Great location, lots of extra thoughtful touches, fantastic breakfast with again lots of extras, everything had been thought of and so many very unique ideas. Staff very helpful and friendly on reception, the restaurant and bar.

Kein Spa, kein Gym, wenig Abwechslung beim Frühstück.

Localização panorâmica sobre o golfo da "Meia Praia", desde o Alvor a Lagos. Quarto com uma vista de 180 graus sobre o mar e os campos de golfe. Serviço competente e simpático. Hotel muito calmo em zona pristina (para os padrões do Algarve) e serena. Bom restaurante, com valores honestos e qualidade comprovada. Excelente localização para passeios a pé na natureza, até à ria de Alvor e Lagos.

If you want to spend some time in an amazing place, come here. The view is spectacular from our room and balcony (which has a glass railing so it is unobstructed.) It overlooks the golf course down to the ocean. The rooms are lovely with the bed facing the window overlooking the scenery. We chose a 1/2 pension which meant we ate dinner here also. They have a 3 course dinner, which changes each night and will accommodate you if you have allergies. The quality of the food is excellent. This is an easy 15 minute drive from the center of Lagos and there is lots of parking. If you want to go to the beach, they will take you there and also lend you an umbrella and chairs to bring. Everyone is super helpful. For those with electric cars, they have charging stations in the garage under the clubhouse. No cost. We don’t play golf, but I am sure that if I did, I would take advantage of it. They also have a pool with the same view. As a note, JW Marriott is in the process of partnering with them and building their first resort in Portugal. You do have the construction site to left of the hotel, but it not an issue IMO and didn’t really damage the view from our room (and wasn’t noisy.) The resort is being built into the mountain so as not to obstruct the view. The hotel part we are in will be connected, but for adults only. Nice touch. Supposed to be done in 2028. I would recommend this hotel in a minute. It was lovely to be able to have serious R&R if you are traveling and need a place to just breathe and relax for a time.

It is a beautiful property 7 min drive from downtown and 10 min walk to the beautiful Meia Praia. The views are incredible! Every room has a view. It is very peaceful. Breakfast is very good.

The only thing that was not great was service at the Club House restaurant where the food was very good.

Super Golf and incredible hotel Second year we spend a week in this incredible hotel that unfortunately will be abandoned once the new one close by is build. i strongly suggest enjoying it as long as it is possible view cleanness food nothing is disappointing

Das Golfhotel ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen inmiiten einse 27-Loch Golfplatz. Die Aussicht aufs Meer ist umwerfend! Das Hotelpersonal war duchrs Band sehr zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer wae sehr grosszügig und hell. Der Sitzbereich draussen ist sehr erholsam. Das Restaurant für Frühstück und Abendessen ist sehr gut und bietet eine tolle Auswahl an frischen und regionalen Speisen.

Ohne Auto ist die Anlage eher schwierig zu erreichen.

La chambre était très spacieuse avec une vue piscine et golf, elle avait un lit géant et était très très bien équipée. L'accueil a été très agréable, un paradis qui vaut bien ce prix pour avoir fait d'autres hôtels le long de la côte sud portugaise : un bon rapport qualité / prix.

Die Lage für einen Escape inkl Zugang zu einem ruhigeren Strand in Lagos

Die gesonderte Lage ist mit dem Fahrzeug nicht direkt mit dem Strand verbunden. Man kann Bestenfalls zu Fuß runter, das Personal fährt einen ggf auch ein Stück mit del Golfcart. Daher ist jede Fahrt in die Stadt mit dem Mietauto oder per Uber eine zeitliche Exkursion.

Food in restaurant is nice, however for a 5-star, adult friendly hotel, the standard can be a bit higher, little bit more fine dining style

ALGUM BARULHO DEVIDO A OBRAS AO REDOR DO HOTEL.

¡Este sitio es una pasada! Nos alojamos dos noches aqui y sin duda nos sorprendió mucho, fue mucho mejor de lo que esperábamos. Situado a 10 minutos en coche del centro de Lagos, cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días de desconexión. El personal fue muy amable y atento tanto a nuestra llegada como a la salida del mismo, ofreciéndonos una copa de bienvenida y un pack de agua y pastas cuando hicimos el check-out. Es un hotel con pocas habitaciones el cual estaba cuidado al detalle , y la habitación nos encantó. Todo estaba muy limpio y nuevo, con unas vistas a la playa increíbles. Además cuentan con el detalle de que la cama está ubicada hacia la ventana para poder disfrutar del maravilloso paisaje desde ahi. Contaba con una terraza amplia equipada con hamacas, sillas y mesa para poder pasar un rato muy agradable. Si tuviésemos que destacar algo por encima de todo sin duda sería el desayuno. Pudimos disfrutar de una gran variedad de opciones, comenzando el día con unas vistas y tranquilidad inmejorables. Recomendamos este establecimiento al 100% y estamos seguros de que volveremos algún día.

Fabulous adult boutique hotel. Room was high standard and fabulous views over the golf course and ocean. All Staff were excellent very attentive at all times.We had half board and dinner and breakfast standard was exceptional. We stayed for 12 nights and eat in most nights the menu does repeat each week but was still a high standard.

The news that the hotel will close in October - November due to JW Marriott development.

Had a great stay but it’s not a 5 star place. Besides a (unheated) pool, and an okay restaurant there are no other facilities, not even a gym. It’s a clean and nice hotel but in no way a luxurious place.

Lage sehr schön. Wer Ruhe mag, ist hier richtig. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Kleines neues Hotel mit nur 20 Zimmern. Schöner Ausblick auf den Atlantik

Das Hotel liegt schön auf einer Anhöhe mit herrlichem Blick über den Golfplatz bis zum Meer. Die Zimmer sind groß mit eigener Terrasse. Sehr gutes Frühstück und freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal. Es ist super ruhig und friedlich.

Beautiful setting, lovely hotel Food was very good (had breakfast and dinner) The morning front desk attendant/concierge was excellent and knowledgeable

The evening front desk attendants/hotel clerks (there were usually two behind the front desk in the evenings we were there) were not at all knowledgeable or helpful. We asked them to make us a dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant and they didn’t communicate the request to the restaurant. When we asked questions about activities such as bike rentals they could not offer any helpful information.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious, with large and very comfortable beds that made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hotel itself is beautifully designed- modern, stylish, and very clean. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day right.

We love spending time by the ocean, so it would have been nice if the walking distance to the beach was a bit shorter.
