Golden Tulip Headington Ruwi

My stay was excellent. Check-in was fast and easy and my room was very comfortable with excellent shower and a/c. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied with fresh fruit and salads as well as an array of hot veg and non-veg dishes and freshly made omelettes. The staff were wonderful and always ready to help. The hotel has a gym, an unheated rooftop swimming pool and a free underground carpark. Within easy walking are supermarkets, shops and restaurants as well as the local bus station with direct cheap connections to the airport and to Muttrah port and Souq. Reception, restaurant and cleaning staff are wonderful and I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Great location near the bus station 🚉. The place is mostly quiet, but on our second night the guest next door was very loud and kept banging doors 🚪😣. I told the reception in the morning and they fixed it right away 👍. After that, we had a peaceful last night 😊. The food was excellent with different options every day 🍽️😋. I also liked the gym, it was complete and had everything I needed 🏋️‍♀️💪. The only downside was the pool, it wasn’t well-maintained and there was no heater 🏊‍♂️

The stay was really very good! We enjoyed a lot thanks a lot to Golden tulip for their remarkable service. A special mention for Ankit, who helped a lot during the stay and it is because of him we were able to seamlessly enjoy our trip.

I had an amazing day with my family at this beautiful destination. The hotel staff were outstanding especially Anas, who was incredibly kind and helpful in guiding us throughout our stay. The service was excellent and made us feel truly welcome. The hotel ambiance was eye-catching and relaxing, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable family outing. I stayed in Golden Tulip Ruwi on my business trip to Muscat in May. They have a very attractive and wonderful service packs, especially for corporates. I could like to appreciate their services specially F&A department, cab services, cleaning etc.. the staffs from Golden Tulip Ruwi really friendly and made my stay very comfortable. The food provided by them were really tasty and healthy, lot of options were available. Chef had made a wonderful job. I would prefer to stay here in future as well. Would like to appreciate all of them from Golden Tulip Ruwi Especially F&A department - Mr.Vishnu, Mr.Vijesh, Ms.Sumi, Mr.Chumit, Mr.Saruf and Mr Musarlin. Facilities - Mr.SureshBabu & Mr.Fayaz and all other departments such as Reception staffs, cleaning staff, AC mechanic, laundry services etc...(many of they names I could not recollect)

A great hotel, my parents and me enjoyed the stay very much. We like everything in the country, it is a nice memory staying in Oman.The hotel located in Ruwi,there are many supermarkets and many bank for exchange money. It is easy to arrive the hotel from Muscat Airport through A1 bus

Perfect locatikn for exploring the ciry close to Mutrah and airport. Freenpsrkjng was a big plus for us as we had our own car. Room was big clean good waterpressure breakfast was amazjng lots of choices and friendly staff

The best budget hotel in Ruwi town. They have good services overall but there are somethings needed to be seen and checked. The TV does not have any kind of OTT platforms ( Netflix, amazon prime etc.) so make sure you have it in your phone. The hair dryer kept in bathroom is of low and cheap quality as when you use it stops after 10 seconds due to heating up and does not provide enough heat to dry. The toilet flush water release button was very hard which gets stuck when you push hardly and does not revert back. The temperature control in shower and wash basin is not up to the mark. If you wanna get warm water it gets too warm and for cold it gets too cold freezing. There is no normal water option.

Your Your hotel is very nice. I have come and stayed before. And again I'm trying to come. Make a booking for a room and you are very clean, there is nothing missing in the room. Everything has a facility in there because I am a living person. is very comfortable. The room is nice. Very clean. I have stayed before. That's why I want to come and stay in your hotel again

A comfortable 3* hotel situated in the heart of Ruwi near the bus station, three supermarkets and lots of shops and places to eat. Fast check-in and good free wifi. Excellent reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff. Excellent a/c and hot shower. Quite good breakfast including tasty South Indian vegetarian dishes.

Very safe place in Ruwi area and lots of Indian veg restaurants around. Gold souq and malls nearby. Staff very cooperative. Pls stay im suite, they are much cheaper and havinv sofa, bathtub and two bathrooms. This make morning very easy to be ready earlier for the family. Nearby Msavalat bus station, but we never use it.

We TKM Alumni Oman families celebrated our Onam Annual day at Golden tulip headington Ruwi hotel. Spacious hall with perfect ambience and settings. Nice room,serves delicious food and overall courteous staff ready to help us at anytime. We will recommend this hotel for meetings,parties and family gatherings. Fabulous experience. Friendly staff is the main pillar of the hotel. Very supportive and ready to fulfill your needs in a speedy manner. Warm welcoming itself creates the first impression to the best and also they have a beautiful pool in the rooftop serving you the fantastic view of the mountains. Well equipped GYM which is free for the inhouse guests and even steam and sauna is also a plus pont. One of the best multi cuisine restaurant in the town serve you the authentic tasty food accompanied by the lovable service of the staff. Free parking in a congested city gives you a super comfort as well. Overall it was a fabulous experience and we will be visiting soon again.

Stort dejligt hotel, ligger godt og stor morgenmads buffet. Fint badeværelse, god service, men virkelig dårlige/hårde senge.

Great stay - staff overall were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well-equipped, spacious and clean. Comfortable mattress, stable free internet in rooms (approx 3-5Mbps). Large gym with many machines and a small rooftop pool with some nice views. Breakfast was decent - would be nice if more eggless or vegan options but still plenty of vegetarian choice, including hot foods, fresh dosa and South Indian food. Room service and food is reasonably priced, but the late night menu was unavailable - when we tried to order we were told the kitchen was closed. Maybe in-room booklets should be updated to reflect for this. Getting into the hotel car park requires some tight manoeuvres but parking bays are generous and a valet parking option is offered during the day.

Mum and I are very impressed by the hospitality offered at Golden Tulip. From check-in to booking taxis, the staff is really helpful and professional. The restaurant service is the best we have experienced - they made a special dish for me on Xmas Day, and there was a good selection of Continental, South Indian traditional breakfast items, and also Mumbai snacks. Highly recommended for visitors to Muscat!

The hotel was in a good location, near to the bud terminal, with plenty of shops and a good choice of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Near and clean, also good customer service. It was in the middle of the city .. so can easily access taxi and bus tours etc. Have underground parking area.. also the roof top swimming pool giving an excellent wibe

A very good hotel, nice and clean with a swimming pool and right in the centre of Ruwi in Muscat. Most positive experience here. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Staff are very polite and friendly and a big THANK YOU to Symphony Restaurant to make this visit a memorable one. Staff at this restaurant in the hotel will go extra mile to help you and that too with a smile. Vijeesh, the Restaurant Manager lead them by example. Highly recommend this place for positive experience.

The bed not comfortable and Tarun tools is not call available like pray math like shoes another stuff. There was a lot of noise in the hotel. And rooms is very tiny and small I hope you can look into all this things

Sejour parfait

The hotel has confortable rooms, clean bath and bed linen. Has a good breakfast and excelents employees. All with a smile in their faces trying to help in everything. And the best thing for me, that was without a car, everything realy close (maximum 2 blocks away): supermarket, drugstore, exchange offices and so one. But they have parking also. The street is very busy but the hotel is silent. Sugestion: ask for the rooms with windows to the street ( more ventilation and natural light)

Nice comfortable room. We stayed only for 1 night. We did a very late night check in. Staff was courteous and offered us pineapple juice at 2am also! Very helpful and took our bags to our room. Parking available in the basement. Room is neat and comfy with all amenities. Staff also helped us with directions to nearby supermarket.

Hi, its good hotel but considering 4* star level quality is missing. Entrance lobby is fantastic bit tiny rooms & small toilets no space to move. The price they offer is low in comparison, therefore it is preferred by business travellers who stay in heart of city.

This hotel is a fabulous place! Newer property with good amenities at a great price point. The staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and diligent. If you are without a car it’s just blocks from the Ruwi bus station that has city routes and a bus to the airport. I stayed here sort of by accident when I found my prebooked hotel was under renovations. I relocated to the Golden Tulip as a result and I couldn’t have been happier with my accommodations!

The entrance to the hotel needed to be a bit more wide enough to facilitate short term waiting by pick up cars.

I am a regular visiter to this place .. every time i visit i see the service quality going down instead of improvement. I wasnt satisfied with bell boy, room service and cleanliness from my last 2 visits to this hotel

Great location. Great Staff. Great breakfast. bathroom was not as clean as I would like it. Grout and outside of toilet needed a good scrub. Windows in room were very dirty. Other than that, it was a great hotel in a great location.

Bien placé, parking très pratique, les chambres grandes et confortable. Chambre donnant sur une cours intérieur avec très très peu de lumière, cours intérieur avec un restaurant indien au rdc qui fait bcp de bruit mais qui s'arrête à 23h. Piscine glaciale.

odd location for a hotel. in middle of little India, great fin you need to be there, but no facilities around otherwise. staff super friendly though. bathrooms worst design ever. everything in wrong place & shower cubicke too big for the space.... not finished to a high spec.

The Golden Tulip in Ruwi is a clean and modern hotel that is well located among the shops and restaurants of Ruwi Souq.

Wow! Amazing hotel! Its such a shock when you come in from the terrible area it is in. It is difficult to get to, and people are walking all over the streets that its hard to drive. But when you walk in, it is shockingly new and luxurious. They obviously have the price very low for now, because it is completely worth it for the money. Possibly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Very classy. The pictures do not do it justice. I just wish it was in a better location. At this price, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

paid for the most expensive room £90 plus, when got into the room, very strong unpleasant smell, the manager was with me, promised to bring some air fresher but never returned. Called again, a Filipino guy called Edson kindly moved me to another room without unpleasant room. Dust can be easily seen on the surface of wardrobe. Breakfast is no good, only took some fruit and a yogurt. Also, in the same area there is a hotel called Tulip Inn, every time driver took me to there, seems very confusing for the local taxi drivers. Thank god I only booked one night, never go back.

The receptionists and all other staff were extremely friendly, they arranged collection of my car as I overshot the the entrance on a oneway street. The neighbourhood is vibrant, a good supermarket right behind the hotel. There were few women in the area yet I felt quite safe walking atound. Lots of small eateries. Numerous taxis everywhere for ease of getting into town. The room was fresh and airy. The only negative was that the sides of the swimming pool were a little slimy, perhaps because it was the end of winter.

I was very impressed with the Manager and Staff they were professionally trained i would go to stay again when i visit Oman.
