Reviewed Apr 13, 2026I enjoyed the 4km game drive to the Stable rooms and was pleased to find that it was secluded and very private. The rooms exceeded my expectations as it was well equipped with utensils and toiletries, everything I needed was on hand. The air-conditioning was a bonus and came in handy too!
My husband and I wanted to have a nice relaxing evening outside but were unable to do so as there was ALOT of flying bugs. Of course we did not mind as we were well aware that the accommodation is situated in a game reserve, we just did not expect it to be that much.

Reviewed Jan 26, 2026The drive to the Stable Rooms was an experience on its own. We saw Giraffes, Springbucks (including a white and a black Springbuck), Dassies. The room was small, but clean and beautiful. The braai facilities were great. The swimming pool was the best - just the thing needed in the Beaufort West heat. Campers will love the camping site.
The beds were a bit hard, but that's basically the only negative thing I can say.

I can see it as a destination for relaxation and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was unable to enjoy their breakfast as I left early the next morning.
The bed linen made me itch all over, which I suspect could have been from residual washing powder

This hidden gem turned our long journey into a highlight of our trip. From the very beginning, Julia was absolutely an incredible host🥰. She was so hospitable and friendly, providing us with every bit of information we could possibly need before we even arrived. Her helpfulness made the planning process completely stress-free. One of the best surprises was the convenience upon arrival. We were able to purchase everything for a perfect dinner right at their on-site shop. They have a fantastic selection of: • Braai packs (perfect for a traditional South African fire) • Savory pies • Drinks, including a great selection of wines and soft drinks. The chalets are simply heavenly. They feel incredibly premium, offering a level of comfort that exceeded our expectations. Whether you are planning a family getaway or a trip with a group of friends, the layout and "nice" touches make it feel like a high-end retreat. A true highlight was the "mini safari" at sunset. Getting to see the animals as the sun went down was a beautiful, unexpected experience that added to the exotic feel of the lodge. Whether you are looking for a great stopover on your way to Cape Town or Johannesburg, or a destination in its own right, I cannot recommend this lodge enough. It was a true five-star experience from start to finish. Thank you, Teri-Lemveli Lodge, for a super amazing experience! We will definitely be back.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026We stayed here for one night during our road trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town. The hosts were welcoming and showed us to our room. The room was small but adequate, with 1 bunk bed and 2 normal beds (4 beds total), a private bathroom, and a small kitchenette. There are also additional bathrooms near the campsite area that were clean and spacious. The location is a few minutes from Karoo National Park. The owner knows the area well and can provide information about the park if needed. It was a suitable place to stop for the night before continuing to Cape Town.
The bathroom door had a gap, so sound carried through.

Everything was on point , staff very friendly and I loved staying with the animals on the property went for a last afternoon drive to see the animals and a early morning to see the giraffes and other animals , my kids enjoyed everything about the stay and so did we . We definitely booking there again 😀
