Located away from hustle and bustle of town. Part of the building had historical significance.

Bathroom had a usual odour.

Friendly staff, good location, beautiful garden

It was noisy, we didn't sleep very well. Apparently there was a group from India that chatted and partied till after midnight. The manager apologized for it the day after.

The accommodation was fantastic! This is a very old cottage, and it was imaculate, and the grounds were manicured to perfection! The main house ,reception, and dining room and bar were beautifully decorated, I thought that I had gone back in time. The staff were warm and welcoming 🙏 on arrival.

It would be great to be able to wash our own clothes, so I suppose a wash house with washing machine. We had travelled for 2 weeks, and our clothing were on the nose . Portable clothes horse in our room to dry off clothes.

The location is near to the lake gregory. Garden around this property is very good.

Superbe hôtel. Rien à redire. Nous avons eu droit à la "Princess Suite" dans laquelle les enfants du 1er ministre dorment habituellement selon le concierge ;-) Nous avons savouré un cocktail dans le bar absolument fabuleux et d'un calme absolu. Ambiance club anglais très chic. Prix plus que raisonnable et personnel entièrement dévoué !

Very beautiful hotel, extremely gorgeous surroundings. Nice rooms, nice staff, breakfast was okay but I would have preferred more varieties.

The location on a hill overlooking gardens and tea plantations is wonderful.

The garden and the beautiful flowers. You have a great view of the lake from the property. You can sit and relax for hours.

This place is so good.

A quirky, relaxing hotel with a lovely colonial feel. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Nuwara Eliya is very spread out compared to other towns in Sri Lanka. It’s not close to the centre of town, but worth staying here - especially if you have a driver. (The hotel has accommodation for drivers). We loved the little bar and the attentive staff.

Clean well maintained property

The location & the well manicured garden which was blooming with exotic flowers.

There was no lift & we had to climb 2 floors to go to our room- there was no fan nor AC- first night we cld not sleep because it was hot & stuffy. I was lucky to get a standing fan for nxt day. There was no view from our room.

This hotel is one of the best in Nuwara Eliya. It is beautiful and well kept. The staff is cooperative and extremely kind. We had an amazing time.

The room's interior can be improved / enhanced. They have a jacuzzi but is not operational. They have enough space in the property to at least construct one swimming pool.

Breakfast spread was very nice. Cottages were magical. Excellent ambience for a perfect holiday! It is one of the best places to stay in Nuwara Eliya. Very photogenic property. Very nice especially if travelling with kids

The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made our stay even more pleasant. What stood out the most was the staff. They are extremely friendly and always ready to help. A special mention goes to the reception team and the General Manager, who were very kind, professional, and supportive throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is located in a nice, clean, and convenient area. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Mirage kings cottage. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean, which made our stay even more relaxing. The food was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, catering to different tastes. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help whenever we needed anything, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The garden is truly like a heaven so beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It added a special charm to the overall experience.

Location was good although need a car to get to town. The immaculately kept garden and space around the cottages was the highlight of this hotel. Our stay included breakfast. Buffet limited in selection but we couldn't ask for more. Rooms were clean. Staff was great. Whenever we wanted anything like a refill of toiletries they were there to assist us in a flash.

I cannot exactly remember if I asked for a quiet room during the booking. The 3 rooms we got was in front of the car park. It was noisy with cars, vans and even trucks loading a broken vehicle. It made or stay less comfortable. However I request 3 adjoining rooms which as honored.

It was amazing! We were glad to have the opportunity to extend our stay at Mirage Kings Cottage. Beautiful landscaping, perfectly maintained gardens, with an breathtaking view from the clubhouse was soothing. We stayed in the Queens suite with two huge bed, which was spacious and spotless. Having the opportunity to take join the Sinhala/Tamil New Year celebrations and games was an added bonus. Looking forward to go there again!

Ein sehr schönes, altehrwürdiges Haus im Kolonialstiel mit entsprechenden Schlafzimmern, die mit antiken Möbeln ausgestattet sind. Das Badezimmer ist sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön mit herrlichen alten Bäumen und vielen Pflanzen und Blumen. Ich bin sehr froh, dass unsere Zimmer im alten Teil waren.

Was mir persönlich nicht gefällt ist der neuangebaute Teil mit dem Restaurant. Irgendwie passt er nicht zu dem schönen alten Haus im Kolonialstil

We had an excellent stay in Nuwara Eliya. The hotel location is superb, and the garden is amazing. From the garden we could enjoy a beautiful view of the lake, which made our stay even more special. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms, and it was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The overall cleanliness of the room was excellent. The staff were very helpful and always ready to assist guests with a smile. Their hospitality made our experience even better. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we will definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended 😊

Location and the staff were great. The welcome and support was great. Breakfast was good.

Room wasn’t soundproof could hear everything from the corridor- door was swinging/playing a bit due to wind. Bathroom was a bit smelly. Pillows were smelly. TV was on a side hard to watch.

L’intérieur est vraiment vieillissant et aurait besoin d’une bonne restauration. Le personnel vous court après pour être payé. La piscine doit faire 2mx2m. Le rapport qualité / prix est déplorable. L’évacuation de la douche de la chambre 5 se trouve à l’extérieur de la douche !

Cleaning was not done professionally, the didn't change the sheet, just reorganized the bed. No AC or fan in the room. Windows don't have mosquito nets.

Das Hotel hat einen gewissen Charme und sehr schönen Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und reichhaltig. Ein Plus ist ebenfalls das Clubhaus und Gym im Hotel. Die Lage ist super zum spazieren und erkunden, für ins Zetrum ist man aber auf ein Tuktuk angewiesen. Das ganze Personal war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam.

Durch das feuchte Klima und Regen hatte das Zimmer manchmal einen etwas abgestandenen Geruch, wo wir immer wieder gut lüften mussten.

Rooms & kitchen needs an upgrade. Serves cold food in buffets. Not at all value for money. The room contains very basic amenities. Garden facing rooms have smoking zones in front of room, causing discomfort.

La struttura è molto bella ed immersa nel verde, ha un giardino molto curato. Buona e varia la colazione.

L’arredamento della stanza potrebbe essere rinnovato e migliorato, inoltre, purtroppo si sentono molto i rumori esterni.

Good hotel with good restaurant and clean, spaceous room. (We had the Kings Suite family room.) Also nice that there is a bar and recreational area (games, pingpong, pool). Manager was very considerate.

Good to know that tuktuks and taxi’s are practically unavailable in Nuwara Eliya after 22:00.

Room cleanliness and the staff. I gave the keys to clean the room in the morning and when I came back in the evening, the room was not cleaned at all. They had to clean the room before while we were in the room. Breakfast was served cold.

In the room we stayed in (kings villa) was quite noisy when other guests walked past as the floors were unstable

Location is beautiful Breakfast buffet was great.

No hot water ( hot water stopped after 5 mins even though we allowed time for the geyser to heat up between showers). Hotel asked us to leave 10 mins gap between showers, however we gave it 20 mins gaps yet had to take ice cold showers which was absolutely disappointing and unacceptable. No bath mats considering the floor was cold and no hot water. No wash towels or hand towels. Only two bath towels were provided.
